- "Nice apartment, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again." - "Great little apartment with fantastic location and provides all the basics. Cafe noise below was as expected from other reviews but not excessive or intrusive. More noticeable was the back alley noise of early morning delivery trucks most days. The unit was generally well maintained and clean apart from the floors but a once over when we arrived was all that was needed. The vac isn’t up to the task. The two queen beds were comfortable, it’s a stretch to call the fold outs beds though, thankfully we only needed one and used all the spare blankets to try to bulk up the mattress. I’d bring my own if we visited again."

It is very easy to navigate around the Apollo Bay region by car and plentiful parking in town. The Apollo Bay to Colac bus departs every Wednesday and a daily return service from Apollo Bay to Melbourne via Geelong (bus to Geelong followed by Vline train to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne). The Vline bus from Geelong to Apollo Bay includes a stop at Skenes Creek. Marengo is about a 25 minute walk or short taxi ride from the centre of town. Hordern Vale is a bit further along the Great Ocean Road and easier to access by car. It is possible to get there via tax also. The Apollo Bay Taxi is also available on 0400 229 222.

- "The check in process was very easy. The property was a very well maintained multistory apartment just off the main street, within easy walking distance of eateries and shops. Just over the road is the beautiful beach. Our car was housed safely in a lock up garage with a remote controlled roller door, and there was plenty of room (and privacy) for the kids. Only a couple of negatives - as the property backs on to the the local supermarket, we were woken every morning by the delivery trucks. Not a big deal - we are country dwellers and not used to the noise of other people. It certainly wouldn't stop us from staying here again. The supermarket being so close was an absolute luxury! We also found it odd that we had to sweep and vaccuum prior to our leaving - with the price we were being charged we found that a little exorbitant, especially as we had to reclean parts of the apartment due to "sticky" surfaces on arrival. I would absolutely recommend this property and would have no issues with staying here again."

- "Apollo bay has a beautiful beach and the property is just a short walk away. Groceries can be found right next to the property that has convenient onsite parking. There are two other huts annexed to this one. Athough we had the middle hut, we were not disturbed by the others. Sue was easy to reach, and when we broke one glass she handled it professionally. Overall a pretty good stop on one’s great ocean drive!"

The Alyeska Loft is one of two guest spaces on the Alyeska Apollo Bay Holiday Rentals farm stay. This loft is a peaceful and charming studio apartment with a cute A-frame design, overlooking the green rolling hills of the farm.

The space
This comfortable Villa that can sleep up to 6 guests. There is one queen size bed in one bedroom, one double bed in the second bedroom (a comfortable roll-away bed can be set up in the Living Room for the fifth guest, and if needed there is a bunk bed above the double bed in the second bedroom for the sixth guest but these are organised prior to arrive and additional fees do apply )

Please note - if your booking is for 4 guests and either the roll away bed or the bunk bed is required in addition to the two queen beds,
we will need to know before the day of arrival again and additional fees do apply. They will not be made unless organised prior to arrival.

The Villa has a fully equipped kitchen; spacious, comfortable dining and living area, bathroom, separate toilet and fabulous outdoor sitting area.

The space
VillaStMartin is your private space in the top story of my home, where I live downstairs. VillaStMartin, your “home away from home” is at the end of a gardened driveway where a gateway leads you to your own private deck and fenced garden area. Your entrance is at the end of the brick pathway. Upstairs, you will find a spacious living area with vaulted ceilings & views of the nearby hills & towards Cape Patton.
We do our own laundry, sustainably as possible with solar power. We no longer charge a separate cleaning fee and ask that guests leave our home clean, neat and tidy, with dishes washed with hot water and detergent, dried and put away. Garbage should be placed into the bins as shown in the folder on the coffee table.
A sunny balcony off the living area has a Weber gas barbecue, outdoor furniture and awning for sun protection.
Please note: there is only a partial kitchen with bench space, sink, small fridge, microwave, Coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster, blender & sandwich maker

There is a large TV, DVD player and DVDs, Record player and a selection of vinyl records and Stereo CD player, games, books and free wifi!
The two bedrooms are off the living area and the main bedroom has a balcony with a view towards the sea. The 2nd bedroom only available for 3-4 guests or on request (extra fee of $40 applies for extra bed). The ocean will lull you to sleep by night or by day, draw you to explore our popular main beach, rated in the top 10 beaches in Australia.
The second bedroom has two single beds, which can be joined to make a king size bed on request and all beds have quality sheets and warm doonas and extra blankets. The bathroom, which is accessible from the main bedroom and hallway, has a shower area, toilet and vanity cupboard with hair dryer (privacy locks on the doors).
We provide lots of little extras to complete your relaxing stay at Villa St Martin, including iron and board, clothes rack, beach shelter, boogie board, back packs, beach towels and spare towels for your four-legged family members, should you bring them along for a holiday as well (by arrangement with owner, fee applies). There are yoga mats available and plenty of space to stretch out in your practice.
The beautiful Apollo Bay Golf Course is popular with our guests and we now offer discounted vouchers for your game which can be included in your stay (minimum 2 night stays). Prior arrangement needs to be made.
The area available to guests is part of the owners home but with your own private entrance now with timber decking and fully fenced yard.
Children are welcome but must be strictly monitored. A stair guard may be provided when requested. A portacot, baby bath and high chair is also available at no extra charge.
Check out is 10am, later time by arrangement only, subject to availability.

Guest access
You will have secured access to your area, upstairs and separate from owner's area which is downstairs. You have access to a private garden area with secure gated yard (good for dogs and children) and your own entrance with off street parking. A short walk of about 500m will find you at the water's edge and similar distance to the numerous cafes and restaurants on the Great Ocean Road.
Whether you stay 1 or 2 nights or 2 weeks, you will love your home away from home at Villa St Martin.

Villa St Martin is private and spacious with upstairs vistas and a private garden.
Rate given for 2 people is based on double occupancy use of main bedroom. The second bedroom can be made available for single occupancy with a linen fee of $40 extra per stay. Please let me know in your booking request. Also for 3 people, rates are shown for twin share and 1 single bed. If you’d prefer seperate beds, extra bed can be prepared and $40 charge will apply.
I live downstairs and sound can transfer between floors. Quiet time after 10pm is greatly appreciated.
We welcome guests with dogs and have our carpets regularly steam cleaned. This must be approved by the owner prior to arrival and when you tick the pet button, you will pay a $50 “dog inside” fee per stay.
*Please note the yard is private with a gate but dogs are to be under strict control and not left alone in the yard or in the apartment*

Our Superior Family Room features a unique loft-style layout with breath-taking views of the mountain ranges of Apollo Bay and beyond.

Having an expansive layout of 42 square metres in a loft design, it can comfortably accommodate a maximum of 5 guests. It is ideal for adults and children over 10 years of age and features a spacious open plan living area including dining and lounge.

Great for families, this room is appointed with 3 single beds in the upstairs loft, one queen bed downstairs in a studio-style layout, a comfortable sofa, dining table and chairs, flat screen television, air-conditioning and heating.

Our en-suite family-sized bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, vanity, towels, hair-dryer and complimentary toiletries.
