There are no dining facilities, but Apollo Bay is just 5 mins drive and has plenty of options (check out Little Crumb Bakery for the best breakfast you have had in a long while!). Beds were comfortable and the room was warm, with plenty of hot water for showers. A fridge with freezer section was handy to keep the ice blocks frozen overnight for our chilly bin. We didn't use much else as we were up and out fairly early and back late in the evening. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are visiting The Otways."

The bedroom is upstairs with a beautiful timber federation style queen bed. The large dormer window frames one of the most beautiful views of the valley looking out as far as Cape Paton. You don't even have to get out of bed to enjoy the view. Downstairs are all your amenities, bathroom with a spa-bath and separate shower. Full kitchen with all your cooking needs provided for including microwave. stove top and oven.
Wood fire,(all wood supplied) TV, DVD player, IPOD docking station. Spacious verandah with outdoor furniture and garden. We have a magnificent variety of bird life that will drop by now and again while your sitting on the deck taking in the views and listening to the sounds of the sea.
Only a 4 minute car drive back to shops, restuarants and beach. There is also a taxi service in Apollo Bay.

- "Blue Bollards was a comfortable house in Apollo Bay, where we stayed for one night. The owners had prepared the fireplace for us, so all we had to do was light the match for a cozy night on the couch. It was chilly in the morning, but their additional electric heater did a great job of warming us up quickly. The bed was comfortable but the mattress rolled outwards a little. It’s not near the beach but the neighbourhood is perfectly nice. The house had a really nice feel - lovely artwork, cushions and blankets, a pretty garden out front and back, kitchen was excellent, and the owners left us a good information booklet on arrival.
