The huts are part of The Old Vicarage B&B and use the same car park, you'll pull into the drive and see the main house ahead of you with the car park to the left hand side.

The hut is located at the bottom of the garden. Park in the main parking area, walk past the main house, and through the steel arch in the center of the garden. Cedar & Birch Hut is situated just beyond the orchard. Your key will be waiting for you at the door.

- "Nice quiet spot owner nice and friendly" - "The accommodation was a modern take on the traditional shepherds hut set in the beautiful and tranquil gardens of the main B&B. This part of Wales is (especially on a beautiful day) about as close to heaven on earth as most places are going to get, so was lovely to have a comfortable (and pretty luxurious) place to rest our bodies after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The private garden space was also really nice, although we felt guilty hanging around in it too long as a family of Jackdaws were nesting nearby and our presence disturbed them slightly. Would not hesitate to recommend, and would love to try the B&B next. The only downside was there wasn't a pub within walking distance, although we should have done our research on that first."

Y Caban is situated on Foxhill Farm, a gorgeous organic dairy farm surrounded by 90 acres of unspoiled organic pasture. It is secluded and private, but with easy access to the local village St Dogmaels with it's ruined abbey, flour mill, award winning farmers market, galleries & pubs.

Y Caban is within a short drive to the glorious Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and big sandy beach Poppit Sands.

Getting there

The post code for some reason directs SAT NAV's to the farm just before Foxhill which has a sign on the gate for Ysgubor Hen. This is the wrong place. You'll be on the right lane, but you're looking for stone pillars either side of a cattle grid with a metal sign on them saying Foxhill. Take this lane, not Ysgubor Hen.

Accessibility

The cabin is on a raised platfrom that is reached from the private car parking space, along a gravel path to a set of 4 steps. The entire property is on one floor however, so could be suitable for those who do not wish to have many stairs in a property or have some limited mobility. The bathroom is a shower over bath.

Fron Y Mor Shepherd Hut sits in a secluded corner of Fron Y Mor holiday cottage on a quiet and peaceful country road just outside Moylegrove in north Pembrokeshire. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tucked away in the small upper part of my garden the eco shed offers solitude, privacy, comfort and beauty. Near the beach, Pembrokeshire Coastal Path; estuary views.

The shed is architect designed and hand built using local, upcycled and designer materials and fittings.

One wall has sliding glass doors leading onto your garden. Outside there is a water tap, covered cooking and barbecue area. Chalet style open space studio is a new addition to our 4 accer smallholding, tucked down a quiet lane just a couple of minutes drive from Cardigan. Golygfa, meaning ‘nice view’ is a name of our home that is on top of a little hill overlooking the Teifi gorge. Stunning views towards the Preseli hills, just a stones throw from Poppit, Mwnt and Aberporth beach.

The space
Our "Old garage conversion" is a labor of love inspired by alpine chalets where we used to live. Using as many reclaimed and local materials made the place to look like it was always there.

One big open space with fully equipped kitchen and dinning table, bedroom space with king size bed and wardrobe and a lounge part with sofa and wood burner. Bathroom has a shower, sink and flush-able toilet. All area has an underfloor heating.

We can also provide two camp 'Z' single beds to be used by children. We feel the space would be too cramped for three adults but it would nicely accommodate a family.

The cabin has two verandas. The East facing one gets the morning sun and the West facing one will allow you to watch the sun sets and let you enjoy the outdoor space even when it's raining.

There is a private drive just by your door.

Other things to note
Our cabin has a shared drive and parking with our other cabin, which will be also rented out. The surroundings - garden, orchard and fields we feel should be shared by the users of both rentals 'in harmony' with each other, rather than us setting out any false boundaries. We hope this works for both parties who come and stay at Golygfa. There is plenty of space and nature here for everybody.
