The grill and outdoor seating on the deck made for great lunches/dinners and the firepit was the perfect place to relax into the evening. Unfortunately, I had to do some work while there, but the internet was super fast and allowed ne to wrap up those items while streaming. Even though there was a completely remote feel, the lake was right across the road and there were a number of grocery and convenience stores for last minute needs. Gouldsboro Lake:
Distance – about 20 minutes away from the house
Area - 250
Gouldsboro lake is famous for ice fishing, boating, and swimming. Besides multiple activities, one can enjoy luxurious electrically powered and non-electrical boating. Gouldsboro lake comes under Goldsboro state park. It is spread across Wayne and Monroe county.

Brady’s Lake:
Distance – 15 minutes
Area- 223 acres
Brady’s is another man-made lake that was initially designed to harvest ice; however, later, it was modernized, and more activities were included.The lake provides fishing and boating like any other lake of Poconos.

Tobyhanna State Park:
Distance – 15 minutes
Like many of the state parks in the Poconos, Tobyhanna State Park is open from late May through early September and offers swimming, picnic areas, camping and wildlife viewing. The beach area has restrooms and changing rooms, but expect to pay a nominal fee if you want to shower on site.

Hickory Run State Park :
Distance – 30 minutes
This is a great beach for swimming and also has a sand beach.

Promised Land State Park:
Distance – 35 minutes
Two sand beaches are open daily from Memorial Day to mid-September, 8:00 A.M. to sunset.

There is a paved driveway where you can park right next to the house. The driveway is very steep, please keep this in mind when booking your winter stay. During the snowy months, we do get the driveway plowed, but plowing crew will come after snowing has stopped.

Your furry friend is also welcome! Guests bringing a pet must disclose it at time of booking and pay the associated pet fee. Please note:
* House-trained dogs only.
* No dogs under 1-year-old allowed.
* Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
* No more than 2 dogs are allowed.
* There is an extra charge for a second dog.
* Driveway capacity: 4 cars maximum.

Other things to note:
* A signed rental agreement and security deposit hold on your credit card are required for booking.

This cozy cabin is very spacious and has been newly remodeled but has a rustic feel. It is located on a quiet dead end street with private access to Lake Naomi. This cabin is a perfect place to create family memories in the summer, fall, winter or spring! Wake up to the beautiful views of the lake and enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock. Then spend the day on the small private beach, swimming, boating, fishing and relaxing in the adirondack chairs. Enjoy happy hour on the dock while watching the sunset and end your day around the fire pit roasting marshmallows.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Plus a loft area. This home is spacious with three common areas to spend time in. Plus a huge wrap around deck outside with lake views.

The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cooking/baking needs, utensils, glassware and more! There is a rectangle table off of the kitchen that can seat 6 people. Perfect place to eat breakfast with the family!
Off of the kitchen you will find a long multipurpose room. There is a round table that can seat 8 people. Perfect for eating meals, playing games or doing a puzzle. There is a comfy reading nook, so bring your favorite book! There is an extra small beverage fridge too!
The living room is the best place to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful views through the large A-framed windows. There is a large sectional couch where you can watch the smart TV above the wood burning fireplace! (wood provides)
There is also a large wrap around porch with a propane grill, a propane fire pit and plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors.

Amenities include: Clubhouse restaurant and bar (indoor and outdoor), the beach with a lifeguard during the summer season, community center with an indoor pool, a gym, basketball court and more, a huge outdoor pool with a waterslide, Golf, Tennis and many family community events that run all year round!!

Boats included - 1 closed kayak, 2 ocean kayaks, peddle boat and a flat bottom boat with oars and life vests. (Summer months only. Temp Membership to LNC)

Location: It is a short walk to Julibee's Restaurant and to Lake Naomi Club house and beach which is a member only facility but you can apply for a temporary membership on Lake Naomi website. (limited available and must be a Sat-Sat week rental).

Gouldsboro Lake - 20 minute drive
Gouldsboro lake is part of Goldsboro state park. It is spans Wayne and Monroe counties and provides multiple activities including electrically powered boating as well as traditional boating.

Sweet William is located inside the Lake Naomi Club, which is a recreational community in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. It includes a 277-acre lake with non-motorized boating, fishing, swimming, and sailing, accessible only through a Temporary Membership. Additional fees apply in order to gain a Temporary Membership and these fees are NOT included in the rental fees.

NOTE: Sweet William does NOT have a hot tub or sauna, this is part of the club amenities and temporary membership.

A Temporary Membership to Lake Naomi Club also offers an outdoor Olympic-sized pool, a second outdoor pool with an aquatic climbing wall, a nine-hole executive golf course, a tennis center and a clubhouse with restaurant and pub. The recreational staff offers activities for all ages.

Additionally, with the Temporary Membership only, there is a 56,000-square-foot community center just 5 minutes from our home with an indoor pool and a splash park, indoor tennis, a fitness center, a game room and a teen area.

Our property is accessed via a smart lock with a unique code once all rental forms are submitted with government issued photo IDs to verify age and identity.

- "We had a great stay here this is our first week back to the city, we want to go back! The property was just as pictured and lined with so many windows the natural lighting was so nice. The property was clean and everything that we would need was provided. We cooked, grilled, and went out to local restaurants. We arrived at our check in time but had some issues with the code not working. The host was responsive and sent someone out to help with this. The location was great, within a community with granted access, it made the stay more comfortable being that we were not from here. The community even had a trail so we were able to take our pup for morning and afternoon walks within the community and be home before dark (In the city we have to drive to trails that are pet friendly). Our trip was in late September, the fall foliage was so beautiful the temperature was comfortable and the stars at night were so visible. We hope to have made a good impression to our host as we would definitely consider staying again."

There were items on the ground that could have been thrown away, rusted fire pit parts and other items lying around. We arrived an hour early and they wanted to charge us to get in one hour sooner. I did not appreciate that."

Entire space is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home.

Guests have access to all nearby walking & bike trails, and all the wonderful ski resorts nearby.

Unfortunately there is no access to the lake and pool at this time.

I am here for you during your stay, or I can be invisible. It's up to you.
If needed, I'm only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

Home is nestled in the beautiful Lake Naomi Community.

Lake Naomi Club is a premier private second home community located in the pristine Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. We have a Smart TV. You will be able to login to all your favorite applications like Netflix, Hulu, etc. We do not have cable.

TRASH
Trash day pickup is Thursday. Our trash cans are kept on the side of the house near the driveway.
If you are staying over night on Wednesday, we would really appreciate it if you can roll the trash bins to the curb Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

PARKING
Our driveway can fit up to 4 cars comfortably. Please do not park on the street.

COMMUNITY ACCESS
Guests unfortunately will not have access to the lake or pools at this time.
But you can enjoy the many walking & bike trails nearby!

PELLET STOVE FIREPLACE
We have a working pellet stove in our living room.
Thermostat is on the side of it where you can easily adjust the temperature.

PETS
We allow dogs for a fee of $80 per pet per, due to the excess cleaning & ozone machine we have to use to make our home comfortable for all future guests.

Noise level:
We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is privacy compliant and is required on this property.

If more than the number of booked occupants are detected by neighbors or outside cameras, the stay will be immediately terminated and no refund will be issued. No cameras inside.
- No smoking inside the house -$250 fine if detected.

- No more than the number of guests booked ON PREMISE at any time: $200 fine per person detected.

-Please remove shoes when you enter the home.

- Quiet hours from 10pm to 8am (50 decibels).

- Primary renter must have valid govt ID, phone number and address on file.

- If there is anyone 21 years or younger in group, the primary renter must be 25+ years old or older.

- We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind. There will be a minimum $100 handling fee for returning requested items to you. Shipping and packaging will be charged at cost. Items will be kept for 5-days. After which time they will be donated at management discretion.

- Unfortunately, we do not allow late checkout to respect our cleaner's schedules. A fine of 50% of the upcoming night's stay will be imposed for a late checkout between 30 minutes and 2 hours past checkout time. We have stayed at a few homes at Lake Naomi and this one is excellent and a good value. Would love to stay again in the summer."

Home is nestled on a wooded lot and well shaded by tall trees. All rooms have Ceiling Fans or Tower Fans for cooling.

Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you expect in a home away from home. Dishwasher, new flat-top stove, microwave and toaster-oven/air fryer. Full capacity washer and dryer.

Outside space, has fire-pit, hammock and corn hole game for family fun!

The Space:
Welcome to our cozy 2-bedroom cabin in Pocono Pines! If you're looking for a rustic escape, you've found it. Perfect for couples, families, or a small group of friends, this cabin is surrounded by the beautiful nature the Poconos is known for.

Inside, you’ll find a warm living area with a comfy sofa and a flat-screen TV—great for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a mini stove for whipping up meals, and you can gather around the dining table with views of the outdoors.

There are two quaint bedrooms, featuring plush bedding for a good night’s sleep. The newly renovated modern bathroom is equipped with essentials and towels.
I have 1 full bath and 1 half bath upstairs.

Step outside to your own private backyard hangout space- Soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit for s’mores, or rinse off in the outdoor shower after a day at the lake.
Backyard shed is available for you to use. It has cornhole, pickleball, fishing poles, and beach chairs!

Just minutes from hiking trails and local attractions, our cabin is the perfect base for adventure. As a local, I can promise you that Pocono Pines has a special charm that’s hard to beat. We can’t wait to welcome you and help make your stay unforgettable!
