Tiny house packed with ambiance and located right across the lake access point, come enjoy the endless activities Lake Harmony offers. Kayak, boat, ski, hike..it's all located right here! And when you are ready, come back and relax at our unique retreat.

As soon as you pull up, you'll feel the charm this tiny cabin packs in. The copper roof and cupola make this house stand out. We're located RIGHT across the lake with a great view and easy access to set off on your own kayaks or canoe. With the purchase of our sister cabin/ Gondola 34, we're now able to offer private beach access! Wake up and enjoy coffee on the covered front porch and spend the nights by the fire pit outback. Inside, you will find an open concept with reclaimed barn wood on the ceiling and a large loft with ladder access to sleep under the stars seen from the cupola. The loft has a queen bed on the floor like sleeping under the open skies. The funky little navy and gold kitchen has all you will need to prepare food or drinks :) We supply utensils, cook wear, dishes, cups and a coffee maker is ready for that morning roast. The bathroom feels luxurious with the hexagon tiled shower and rain shower head. Take a steamy shower after the day on the slops and feel like you’re in a mini spa! A queen bed is located in the master which features a reclaimed tin wall. Sleep under the " ships deck" in the bunk room! Four XL bunks can comfortably fit adults or make nighttime fun for the kiddos. Each bunk has outlets for charging and their own reading lights Kick back and enjoy the electric fireplace, free wifi and smart TV ( log into your account).

- The Split Rock Inn ( located on lake) you can eat at The Rock Bar, Sand Bar and enjoy live entertainment on many nights.

You have the Lakeview from the front porch with two rockers, when you go into the cabin it's like you're in another world. The finishes are outstanding. It has such a cabin feel yet it's totally updated with all modern amenities. There is a nice little backyard patio area with a gas grill and a fireplace for night fires and s'mores making. Plenty of places around to get firewood. This is perfectly located with restaurants and other things nearby. If we could give this 10 Stars we would. Will definitely return. The beds are also very comfortable and the central air is a plus in the summer time! I loved the access to rafts and kayaks as we spent a day on the lake floating and kayaking in the sun without the hassle of having to rent those items from a second party. Due to all the fun things to do at the house I think a winter getaway would be equally as fun because there’s so many things to enjoy at the home without having to leave. This stay was best for a family or partners if you need a quick getaway where you can relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day. The host was very kind and attentive. We proudly offer 3 fireplaces(2gas+1wood), a game/entertainment room, hot tub, huge backyard, 52’x10’ main deck, private beach access, 3 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, new kitchen, and more. This is the place to be in the Pocono’s as we are centrally located to events occurring in all four seasons. Whether you like the beach, boating, kayaking, restaurants, nightlife, NASCAR, skiing, water parks or falls, it’s all here.

A quiet cabin nestled on almost an acre of land. Large grassy backyard with fire pit and off-street parking for 6 plus cars. Cabin has a full kitchen, hot tub, 3 fireplaces (2 propane, 1 wood burning), game room, 5 TVs ( three new smart tv’s and two with Fire Sticks, two decks for entertaining, and a fire pit.

Guests have access to the entire cabin except for one bedroom closet and cabinet over laundry machines for owner supplies.

We are available through out your stay to answer any questions, give advice or direction to the area, or address any issues with the property.

This is a fun mountain community. Our home is in a quiet section of Lake Harmony Estates and has a private feel, but much fun is minutes away.

Parking on the property is plentiful (6 plus vehicles) . Please do not park on the street as that is not allowed the the Property Owner’s Association.

We are accepting of dogs, children & babies please be mindful that our home has antiques & the property is not childproof. We ask that you keep dogs on the first floor only.

So many wonderful things about this home. The open concept with vaulted ceilings and huge beams across both the living /game room area as well as huge kitchen/dining room really give you the feeling of The Mountains.
Our Dining table will easily seat all 8 guests for any meal you decide to cook from the well- appointed kitchen. We have everything necessary to cook a great pancake breakfast or steak dinner, including a double oven! There is a great grill outside as well :)

We take great pride in presenting a clean, fresh space for you. You will appreciate the beautiful bathrooms, with huge glass door showers, multi shower heads (there is a his and hers in the master bath) dimmable mood lighting, even a bidet in the master bathroom!

Lehigh Gorge State Park: Lehigh Gorge State Park contains 4,548 acres of land and about 30 miles of the Lehigh River. Recreational opportunities include: hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and whitewater boating. About 26 miles of abandoned railroad grade follow the river and are available to hiking and biking and provide access for hunting and fishing. Whitewater boating is a major attraction of the park. This section of the Lehigh River is Class III whitewater and is popular for rafting, kayaking and canoeing.

Hickory Run State Park: (across the river from our cabin, approx 2 miles away) The 15,500-acre Hickory Run State Park, has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. The Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area, is a National Natural Landmark. Swimming: A sand beach is open from late-May to mid-September. A snackbar has sandwiches, drinks, ice cream and snacks.

Nescopeck State Park: (approx 6 miles from cabin) Bordered on the south by steep Mount Yeager and on the north by Nescopeck Mountain, the 3,550-acre Nescopeck State Park encompasses wetlands, rich forests and many diverse habitats. Nescopeck Creek, a favorite of anglers, meanders through the park. Hiking trails follow the creek, climb mountains, pass through quiet forests and skirt wetlands. An environmental education center provides year round educational programs on the park’s unique resources.

Beltsville State Park: The 2,972-acre Beltzville State Park, at the Jim Thorpe exit. The Pohopoco Creek, an excellent trout stream, feeds the 949-acre Beltzville Lake, which is a rest-stop for migrating waterfowl and is a destination for boaters and anglers. The sand beach and picnic pavilions are very popular.

We cooked all our meals in the awesome kitchen and had more than enough dishes, glasses, silverware plus every kitchen tool we needed. The kitchen was truly the most thoroughly stocked of any rental home we’ve stayed in. The host was wonderful to communicate with and solved our minor issues promptly (for ex, delivered a new coffee maker to replace a cracked carafe). The neighborhood was very quiet and full of wildlife. We really enjoyed watching all the deer who were surprisingly not afraid of humans. They wandered up close to us, bedded down along the driveway at night, nursed their fawns in sight, etc! We also had some bear activity several nights during the week, and as we packed up to leave, we caught a sighting as the bear waltzed through the yard! Our only small disappointment during our stay was that the private beach was small, very busy, and not easily walkable. We walked to it our first evening just to scope it out. It was a hilly walk without sidewalks and over a somewhat busy road. A bit too much for walking to with little ones and all your beach stuff. We ended up not using it, but we did go to the gorgeous beach within Hickory Run State Park. All in all, we had a really wonderful trip and would highly recommend that other large groups stay in this great home!"

The main entrance deck with seating and a propane grill brings you right into the heart of the home, the kitchen. Fully stocked and updated with granite counter tops, the kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a large breakfast bar. Enjoy the dining table for 8 while admiring the stone gas fireplace and two-story vaulted ceilings, boasting windows and natural light.

You can take the beautifully crafted spiral staircase up to the impressive loft that provides endless enjoyment. This entertainment area is perfect for all ages. The loft has a pool table, pinball machine, board game tower, Whiskey Bar, HD Smart TV, pull-out sofa beds, and lounge seating area that leads to the second-story deck overlooking the backyard firepit.

On the main floor, leading off of the kitchen is one full bath with a walk-in shower, and three of the five bedrooms with Smart TV's in each for your comfort. As you enter the lower level of the home you will find another relaxing entertainment space with two arcade games, gas fireplace, HD Smart TV, and a sofa bed. Down the hall are the final two bedrooms of the home, the laundry area, and the indoor, 5-person cedar Finnish sauna. The lower-level slider doors lead directly outside to the 8-person hot tub and a large backyard with a firepit with plenty of seating, string lights, and cornhole boards! Better yet, access to a Boulder Field is just 70 yards behind the house!

Whether it's hiking the boulders with the fall backdrop, skiing the Poconos slopes in the winter, deer sightseeing, bird watching, or taking a refreshing summer swim in the lake, there are lots of things Poconos offer and this chalet definitely nourishes and cultivates this natural environment.

There is no public transit, however, the beach area is within an 8-10 minute downhill stroll, and the community center (mini-downtown) is within a 4-minute driving distance from the cabin.

Lake Harmony is located just 90 miles from New York & Philadelphia.

Other Things to Note:
✷ Must meet the minimum age requirement of 26. The host will verify government-issued ID

✷ No worries about bed sheets/linens as they are provided! Beds are also comfortably furnished with mattress protectors, pillows with protectors, comforters, extra blankets, and quilts.

✷ 12 Towels (1 per guest) are provided as well as 2 kitchen towels and 3 hand towels (1 per bathroom). We do not provide beach towels or hot tub bathrobes.

✷ There are cameras outside the property only.

✷ The only way to access the 3rd floor loft is via the spiral staircase.

✷ A hot tub fee of $100 will be applied if upon check out, jacuzzi water turns cloudy/muddy/sandy/residue floating.

✷ Extra cleaning services beyond routine cleaning will also be applied depending on how long our crew takes to clean.

✷ Check-out is promptly at 10am. .

✷ There will be a late check-out charge incurred of $150 for each hour past the 10am check-out time.

RENTAL AGREEMENT & CHECK IN PROCESS
Guests are required to sign a short-term rental agreement prior to check-in. The agreement outlines house rules, liability, and property use. We also ask guests to provide an ID and CC upon booking. These additional security measures had to be implemented to prevent fraudulent bookings. A link with all of this information will be provided upon booking. If you are not comfortable with any of this information, you are welcome to cancel within 24 hours of booking as long as it`s not a same day booking.

EARLY CHECK IN / LATE CHECK OUT:
We offer early check in and late check out when we do not have another reservation checking in or out that same day. You can check in as early as 12pm and check out as late as 3pm for an additional $50 each. Please request early check in / late check out within 24 hours of your check in date so we can check our most up to date calendar to see if we can accommodate your request.

If you`d like to guarantee an early check in / late check out, we can block the day before /after for $100.

Welcome to our cozy Lake Harmony home nestled in the beautiful Pocono Mountain scenery! Large wrap around porch will welcome you with plenty of room for outdoor entertainment. Enjoy our outdoor fire pit on those chilly nights, or for roasting your favorite confections.

Detached garage has been converted to a bonus game room/extra bedroom! Enjoy Foosball, Pacman, and your favorite tv shows or movies in this great additional space. Murphy bed allows for supplementary sleep space.

Our home is just a short walk to the lake, with private beach access exclusively for the Lake Harmony Estates residents and their guests. The house has an open concept living room/kitchen and dining room area. Functioning wood burning fireplace in the living room allows for a relaxing ambiance. Queen sized sofa bed offered in the living room.

Additionally, on the first floor you will find two bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. The second bedroom is a Full-sized bed. Both have closet space available to hang your clothing/personal items. The first floor also has a full bathroom with shower/bathtub. Lastly, on the first floor you will find the washer and dryer for your convenience.

Upstairs you will find the third bedroom, which is a Queen-sized bed. Just outside this bedroom you will find the 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and sink.

Upon exiting the side door to the main house, you will find yourself steps from the detached game room/bedroom bonus room! Driving is the best bet. There is not public transportation available. Some guests bring their bikes [seasonal] to ride around on for a better closer look at nature or a wagon to pull their children in. There are also golf cart rentals in the neighborhood.

The living room has an indoor wood-burning fireplace with logs included and central oil heating for the house. The living room has a large Roku TV with streaming and board games. NEW higher speed internet. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a closet, desk, tower fan, and a smart TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a top twin bed, a bottom double bed, and a twin trundle bed, tower fan, and a smart tv. The bathroom has been recently updated and has a walk in shower. The kitchen has a coffee and tea bar with regular coffee, decaf coffee, assorted teas, and creamer. The bar has an electric tea kettle, coffee pot, pour over coffee carafe, French press, & barware. The kitchen has bar seating and a dining room space. The outside space has a propane BBQ grill, fire pit (wood logs included), picnic table and string lights. We also have 2 inflatable stand up paddle boards for guests to use at the lake.

There is lake access about a 4 minute walk from the home. We are not located directly on the lakefront. The lake is a public grassy area where you are able to swim, picnic, and relax. We include two inflatable stand up paddle boards for the lake. You can also bring your kayaks and our stand up paddle boards and launch from there.

Other things to note
We are located 1.6 miles from Split Rock's Waterpark, 0.7 mi from Big Boulder Ski Resort, and 3.8 mi from Jack Frost. We are 9.7 miles away from Hickory State Run Park. We are also steps away (less than 1 mile) from many restaurants and 17 miles to shopping and dining at Jim Thorpe.

You must be 21 years old to book.

2 inflatable stand up paddle boards are included with the stay and subject to weather. Must be 18 years or older to use. Additionally, guests must sign a waiver if they want to use the stand up paddle boards during their stay.

Although we do have WiFi within the home, we are located in a rural area. We are not responsible for any wifi shortages out of our control.

Please note that charcuterie boards, donuts, and wine are not included with your stay.

We are on the more relaxes side of the lake, NorthLakeDrive,and walking distance to all restaurants on the south end such as Piggy's, Nick's Lakehouse & Shenanigan's
Summer time lake fun can't be beat! I'll send you lake access options once booked, there's plenty of fun to be had with paddleboard, kayak, waterski, tubing and pontoon rentals!

Enter into the main living space with stone wood burning fireplace, true gentlemen leather seating area and wood work at it finest.
The front enclosed porch houses the bar, Harvard foosball table, darts and large table for games and socializing. Louvred glass windows will give you the best breeze in the warm months, with newly installed Heat/AC in this room to keep you as comfortable as possible!
Serve your favorite wine out of the wine bar station in the kitchen, complete with wine refrigerator, and electric bottle opener. If you prefer a great cup of Joe, you have your choice of French Press or make a hot or cold specialty coffee on the Ninja set.

After a day hiking or on the slopes, hit the Hot Tub!! Dry your boots/shoes in our AlpenHeat warmer/dryer, jump in the shower and enjoy the towel warmer as you get refreshed for your evening plans.

Summer rentals will have Central Air to keep you as comfy as can be. With a large yard, picnic table for 10 outdoor private hot tub and even a climbing station for the kids, you can enjoy summer to the fullest!

HOT TUB: There is no extra charge to heat the hot tub. The hot tub is not heated continuously. We accept no responsibility for any reactions or injuries you or any other guests might experience following the use of this hot tub. Guests use hot tub at their own risk. Our hot tub technician will switch out the water during deep cleans, this will cause the hot tub to take at least 24 hours to heat up, we cannot control when this happens.

SECURITY CAMERAS: There are three security cameras actively recording motion and sound. One at each entry points but away from line of sight of hot tub for privacy. These devices are here for your safety as well as to secure the property.

Please be advised stairs leading to basement are steep.

This chalet cabin is a short walk to the lake, and a short drive to JFBB ski resort and golf course, many restaurants, the indoor water park at Split Rock, and more! Includes 10 passes to Lake Harmony Beach. It is spacious (nearly 2,000 sq ft) and has both a living room and a separate family room, a dining room, four bedrooms (primary has king bed) and two full bathrooms. Walk to the lake or enjoy views of the deer and wild turkey from two large decks, which roam through the property daily.

The space
Towels and linens are provided, as are coffee and tea. There is also a Keurig available if you prefer to bring your own K cups. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes and cutlery and has brand new stainless steel appliances, but please note this cabin does not have a dishwasher.

It is located just 5 minutes from Big Boulder and 13 minutes from Jack Frost ski resort/national golf course. The indoor water park at Split Rock Resort and Lake Harmony’s town center (Shenanigan’s, Nick’s Lake House, Piggy’s.) are a mile away. Other nearby attractions within 20 minutes or less include Pocono Raceway, Boulder Field, Hickory Run State Park, Jim Thorpe, the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area, and state game lands.

There are two living spaces with TVs and a third TV in the loft. All are equipped with Rokus and the house has high speed internet. In summer, there is a wall AC unit in the living area and window units in each bedroom (except the loft which is cooled by the living room unit).

The nice flat backyard is ideal for fires and cornhole. There is a gas grill available as well. Please note that I am unable it to fill the tanks between guests, so renters generally will need to get those filled nearby (I recommend Lake Harmony Beverage for this).

The cabin is set back a ways from the street and has a fairly long driveway that will fit 5-6 cars. In winter: Please note that the driveway is occasionally snowy or icy and somewhat sloped, so cars with 4WD or AWD tend to fare better when these conditions exist.

We're located RIGHT across the lake with a great view and easy access to set off on your own kayaks or canoe. Wake up and enjoy coffee on the covered front porch and spend the nights by the fire pit outback. Inside, you will find an open concept with reclaimed barn wood on the ceiling and a large loft with ladder access to watch the stars from the cupola. The funky navy and gold kitchen has all you will need to prepare food or drinks :) We supply utensils, cook wear, dishes, cups and a coffee maker is ready for that morning roast. The bathroom feels luxurious with the hexagon tiled shower and rain shower head. Take a steamy shower after the day on the slops and feel like your in a mini spa! A queen bed is located in the master which features a reclaimed tin wall. Sleep under the " ships deck" in the bunk room! Four XL bunks can comfortably fit adults or make nighttime fun for the kiddos. Each bunk has outlets for charging and their own reading lights! Kick back and enjoy the electric fireplace, free wifi.

There is absolutely NO smoking of any kind!! If any trace of smoke is found, results in loss of deposit plus any additional cleaning services needed!

The cabin is located conveniently to Lake Harmony and moments from Nick's Lakehouse, Shenanigans and other lakeside eateries. Enjoy other very local amenities such as Jack Frost/Big Boulder Ski Resort, Hickory Run State Park or take a short drive into Jim Thorpe for the day. Once you book, I will send you a local attraction document to help plan your best trip ever!

Please be sure to wander outdoors and enjoy the back yard or take a stroll thru the Split Rock neighborhood. If you bring your pet, there’s a great walking loop around the back of the house on Red Oak to Hickory. Protected game lands are so pretty! Parks up to 8 cars easily.

Wecome to our cozy lake cabin west side of Lake Harmony. This cozy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin with oversized deck and large fire pit a is within a 5 minute walk to lake and park. Hiking, dining, skiing, biking, shopping, golf, water sports, and everything that the Poconos has to offer is nearby.There are beautiful winery and the town of Jim Thorpe is near by. Hawk trails and Big Boulder fields have great hiking trails. Penns peak has concerts year round and free deck parties during the summer.

Once you enter the main floor you'll immediately notice the living area with a beautiful rustic charm of pine notched planked walls and a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace. There is a TV located in the living area with a built in DVD and VCR player, there are some games for the children to choose for a fun and or relaxing evening. Next you will notice the French doors which leads to bedroom #1 with a cathedral ceiling, adjacent to the bedroom is the Laundry area with a full size high efficiency washer and dryer/stocked with laundry soap and dryer sheets, next to the laundry area is bathroom #1 with the same beautiful notched pine plank walls tastfully designed. Directy off the living area is an open concept dining/kitchen area with newer granite countertops and all the appliances you would need. Down the hall are bedrooms #2 &3 with queen size beds. Between the bedrooms is bathroom #2 tastefully designed with the same beautiful notched plank walls. Through sliding doors located off the dining area is a large deck with a gas grill which is great for entertaining. We provide linens, towels, bedsheets and pillowcases. If you forgot your shampoo and body wash we will have some here too. Our kitchen is stocked with essentails. For an additional cost the Split Rock resort has plenty to offer such as H2O indoor water park, bowling movie theater and a gameroom.

We recommend exploring the Poconos by car so you can really take advantage of everything the area has to offer! In the winter, we strongly recommend a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle for navigating our private, unpaved, gravel road.

It is possible to reach Sycamore Camp by Greyhound bus to nearby Blakeslee then taxi/Uber to the house, if you plan on having a quiet reclusive weekend.

If you're planning a night out in Lake Harmony or one of the nearby breweries or wineries, Lake Harmony Turismo offers affordable private car service.

Other things to note
Sycamore Camp is a one-of-a kind property! Just 2 minutes from all the fun and amenities of the 'town' of Lake Harmony, our house is completely private and removed from the sometimes wild-atmosphere of that vacation-centric village.

The primary renter on all reservations must by 25 years of age or older. Please respect the neighborhood and keep outside noise to a minimum after 11pm. No more than 7 guests are permitted to stay overnight. Additional overnight guests will be charged a penalty of $100 per person.

PETS: We love pets! Well-behaved and housebroken pets are welcome with a $75 per pet cleaning fee to help out our fabulous cleaning crew. You can add pets to your booking anytime by modifying your Airbnb reservation.

SMOKING: Please no smoking in the house at any time, thanks!

PARTIES: UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. Low-key getaways, birthday gatherings and family reunion type-things are totally okay and encouraged! Kitchen has cooking’s utensils, Keurig and regular coffee pots, dishes, bakeware, wine and beer glasses, blender, mixer, electric stove .... just about everything you’ll need. We have an assortment of coffee, tea and hot chocolate plus sugar and honey. Dining table seats six and there are three counter stools.
The sunroom is heated, has a small table and chairs, cards and board games, and comfy chairs by the smart TV.
The living room has smart TV and propane fireplace. Snuggle up in a cozy throw blanket on chilly nights.

The club is a leisurely 3-minute walk on lighted, wooded paths running alongside Big Boulder Lake.

Lake Club access includes a pristine beach beach (groomed daily), where guests swim in the heated pools and crystal clear lake, and play tennis, ping pong, bocci ball, ladder ball, horseshoes, corn-hole, badminton, volleyball, tennis, and more. Guests can also rent kayaks, standup paddle boards, fishing boats, paddle boats, sailboats, and even pontoon boats! The lake often has a giant, blow-up swan and trampoline floating in it. It’s just a festive, resort-like atmosphere, where one can play or just relax with the breathtaking view of Big Boulder Lake as the backdrop. There’s even a Kids Camp!

Note that the overwhelming majority of rental units that mention "access" to the club DO NOT INCLUDE the passes required to access it — They pass the cost onto their guests, which can cost well over $200. We, on the other hand pay a hefty, one-time, guest-pass fee, which INCLUDES 8 passes to the Boulder Lake Club (additional pass can be purchased directly from the club). This saves our guests money and the hassle of having to purchase them. So, when comparing rates, read competitors' fine print, and factor in the cost.

Boulder View Tavern is also located at the Lake Club, and is open year-round. It offers great food, indoor and outdoor dining, amazing views of Big Boulder Lake, live entertainment, and a fun outdoor bar right on the beach. Boulder View Tavern is our go-to place even during the ski season, but there are many other bars/restaurants a short walk or drive away. Sometimes it's just nice having the convenience of not having to step foot in a vehicle.

All that said, the best feature of LUX BOULDER CABIN is indeed the location, but that’s where the WOW stops on every other Blue Heron vacation rental currently available. Read on to see what separates LUX BOULDER CABIN from the rest.

— THE LUX DIFFERENCE —

The Blue Heron Community was built in the early 80’s, and aside from this unit, all of the other BH rentals look like it on the inside. Granted, some have had bandaids, but those don’t look much better.

The owners are proud to offer the ONLY unit that has been completely gutted and renovated with a timeless, sophisticated design. Even the doors and windows are new (interior and exterior). LUX also has central AC (the overwhelming majority of Blue Heron units DO NOT have AC).

Being that it's a designer home, it's outfitted in a highly-functional manner with high-end... EVERYTHING! From the quality furniture to the hand-forged hooks lining the hallway, rest assured knowing you will be staying somewhere special, that makes you FEEL like you’re on vacation.

— THE ENTRYWAY —

Upon entering LUX BOULDER CABIN guests immediately realize they are in a designer home, and can't help being captivated by the overall look and feel. A multitude wood species combine with dark metals and geometric shapes to provide an eclectic yet cohesive warmth. The overall style is a sophisticated mix of contemporary and rustic, keeping true to both its architecture, and its natural surroundings. The perspective of the hovering spherical pendant, embroidered deer head, and distant window with views of the woods, draws guests into the main living space.

— THE GREAT ROOM —

As guests enter the open-concept great room, they continue to be awed. White shiplap covering the ceiling and back wall provides subtle texture, while allowing all the various wood tones to shine. The space is comprised of kitchen, bar, dining, and living areas, and just feels right.

The high-end kitchen boasts a substantial wood beam, dovetailed maple cabinets, granite counters, tiled backsplash, massive sink with a beautiful faucet, new appliances, and a bar that seats 6. It’s also fully stocked with dishware, drinkware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc. Just bring your food and you’re good to go! A concealed washer and dryer are conveniently just off the kitchen.

The dining area seats 8 more at a stunningly beautiful table, that was custom-made from wood salvaged from a demolished, early-1800’s farmhouse. A super-cool, schoolhouse pendant hovers overhead, and is flanked by custom-built pine shelves with hand forged iron brackets. Aside from anchoring the room and looking gorgeous, the shelves along with the storage bins allow guests to stow away items that would otherwise crowd the living spaces. Beneath the shelves hangs intricate wood and metal artwork, further pulling together all the various wood tones.

The living room has a vaulted ceiling with skylight, and canvases of local wildlife merged with landscapes the owner custom designed. A large coffee table melds together a massive sectional sofa and two swivel club chairs. This setup allows guests to enjoy conversation, as well as the wood burning fireplace (firewood wood is included — Roughly November to March). Above the fireplace hangs a 55” LED Smart TV with a direct-wire, ethernet connection to high-speed internet (1GB/sec), as well as wireless Roku speakers that provide outstanding sound for music, movies, sports, etc.

The kitchen, dining and living areas are combined, so everyone in the entire space can comfortably enjoy each other’s company, the TV, and the fireplace. Even the lighting was well thought out with perfectly placed, beautiful fixtures and LED dimmers. This is a warm, sophisticated space that lives large.

There are also three, tastefully designed, themed bedrooms and two luxurious, full baths. Two of the bedrooms have connecting bathrooms, which equates to two master bedrooms! How sweet is that?

— BEDROOM & BATHROOM 1 —

The Lux-Rustic Bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor with a queen bed and luxurious bedding. Outfitted with authentic Spanish furniture, heavy barn doors with hand forged hardware, and a large mirror crafted from reclaimed, Bucks County barn wood, this room needed a something truly special to anchor it all. The solution was a winter wonderland wall mural custom-designed by the owner. This room really just makes guests FEEL like they’re on vacation in the mountains. It also has a 37” LED Smart TV and private access to the truly stunning downstairs bathroom.

The show-stoppers of the downstairs bathroom are the mosaic marble tiled shower, and high-end fixtures. Squares and rectangles are the reoccurring and unifying shapes in this contemporary, spa-like bathroom. The rain-shower head makes for a truly refreshing bathing experience. Chair-height toilets were selected for both bathrooms.

— BEDROOM & BATHROOM 2 —

The Lux-Treehouse Bedroom is the largest of the 3 bedrooms and is located on the second floor. While relaxing in the upholstered king bed, guests feel like they are high up in the mature trees just outside the windows. A restored, antique dresser melds perfectly with other quality furnishings and custom designed artwork to give this room an eclectic, yet sophisticated vibe. There's also a custom-built desk with chair. It's equipped with a 37” LED Smart TV and has private access to an equally stunning bathroom.

Speaking of the upstairs bathroom — It’s gorgeous. Sleek black tiled floors and walls are the perfect backdrop for both the high-end, marble vanity with double sinks, and the vessel tub, which looks like a piece of pottery. The bathroom is completed with a new shower with bi-fold glass doors and a soothing rain shower head.

— BEDROOM 3 —

The Lux Lodge Bedroom has a massive, Aspen log bunk (Twin-XL over Queen) with tons of headroom down below, so kids can hang out in comfort and enjoy the 50” LED Smart TV. There’s also an upholstered daybed with trundle, which provides a nice contrast to the organic look of the log bed, as well as additional seating. Guests can also access the small balcony, which has views of mature trees and the lake.

From the house a short walk to the lake will have you to the beach to relax, play volleyball or on the water float for everyone's fun. The lake offers motorized & non-motorized watersports. Swimming is allowed in the lake.

We have a 2-person kayak for you to use, conveniently locked at the lake. We provide 4 adult life jackets and 1 child size life jacket.

• Please avoid moving furniture, especially the ping pong table, and refrain from flushing anything besides toilet paper. Bins are provided in each bathroom.
• Absolutely no illegal activities, including underage drinking, drug use, or abusive behavior, will be tolerated. Violations may result in termination of the rental without refund.
• Security cameras are installed at the front and side doors for security purposes.

Check-out
Check-out is at 11:00 AM.

• All trash should be placed in the front shed and the shed locked.
• Ensure all windows and doors are locked before leaving.
• Linens should be accounted for, and missing items may result in a charge. Any damage or excessive mess may be deducted from your security deposit.

Late Check-Out
Late check-out is subject to availability. A fee of $125 per hour will be charged for any check-out after 11:00 AM. Please arrange this with the host the night before departure.

Security Deposit
A $250 security deposit will be held in addition to your total booking fees. This deposit will be refunded after 14 business days if there are no damages.

• No pets are allowed. If evidence of a pet is found, the deposit is non-refundable.
• Any damage to the property or belongings will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit.

Additional Guests
The home accommodates up to 10 guests. Any additional guests beyond 10 will incur a fee of $48 per person per night. Please inform the host if you wish to add more guests, and we will adjust your booking accordingly.

Identification and Liability
At the time of booking, guests are required to provide a copy of their ID (front and back) along with the names of all additional guests for security and liability purposes. This is a house rule and complies with local regulations. Any damages will be reported to Airbnb, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with local laws.

By completing your booking and payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in our rental agreement. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Come enjoy our perfect vacation home, where you are just one block away from beautiful Lake Harmony. Private home with a wooded back yard & all the amenities with lots of privacy on a quiet road. We want you to be comfortable, so we will provide linens, blankets and towels for your stay. Our home is also professionally cleaned between each stay. Our eat-in-kitchen, with granite countertops, is equipped with full-sized appliances, pots & pans, dishes, & utensils has everything you need to stay in. We also have two 55-inch TVs and high speed Wifi for when you want to sit by the fireplace and watch a movie or "Netflix & chill".

When you wake up in the morning or want to breathe some fresh air in the afternoon, you can step out on the front or back decks & enjoy a visit from some of our friendly deer families, who visit almost daily. Stand in the back yard and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the trees for hundreds of feet, acorns dropping from the trees, the smell of campfire & sit on our snowboard benches out by the fire pit. This is where you can forget about life for a while.

This is the perfect spot for so many things to do in the Poconos, regardless of the season. We're a short walking distance or drive to local eateries & bars such as Nick's Lake House, Shenanigans (the best karaoke Friday & Saturday nights), Piggy's & Terra Cottage Cafe, which are open year round. In the summer, we are close to public lake & beach access. Pocono Raceway, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge & Jim Thorpe are all a short drive from our house. If you're a golfer, Jack Frost National Golf Club & Split Rock are minutes away. In the winter months, bring your family & friends to Big Boulder or Jack Frost to ski, snowboard or go snow tubing then come back, take a nice, hot shower or bath, put your PJs on and make some hot chocolate for the kids and pop open a bottle of wine.

The spacious master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and a 44” smart TV, as well as a private, en-suite bathroom. There are two other bedrooms on the first floor: one featuring a queen-sized bed, and one with a double bed. Both evoke the rustic-yet-modern vibe that makes this home so welcoming and cozy. Finally, the fourth loft-style bedroom upstairs features a bunk bed (two double mattresses) and a separate twin-sized bed. This little hideaway is a favorite for kids! Note that the stairs leading up to the loft are narrow, but not an issue for most.

When you stay at Red Oak Retreat, this is your home. You have full access to the property, inside and out, with the exception of the locked owners closet.

A unique code will be given to guests prior to their stay, granting you seamless access to the home. The home is fitted with a smart door lock and includes free parking in the driveway for up to six vehicles.

Other things to note
🏖️ Lake Harmony is a private lake without public beach access. However, Lake Harmony Watersports provides seasonal access to the lake via wakeboarding, water skiing, knee boarding, wake surfing, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddle boards rentals. You can also purchase day passes to Split Rock Resort's indoor waterpark, arcade, bowling alley, food areas, and more.

🐶 We are happy to accommodate your furry friend! Please note: 2 dogs maximum within insurance policy's accepted breeds list, and a $100 pet fee. No other animal species allowed. To help us continue allowing furry friends, please ensure your pup is leashed outside at all times, never left unattended in the home unless securely crated, and that you clean up after them on the property. Woof woof!

Key pad entry to basement in the back of the house. Where there is access to a washer and dryer, as well as yard games.

🐾 Pet Policy – Dog-Friendly with Restrictions
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs under the following guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all:

Eligibility & Fees
• Dogs must be at least 1 year old, under 40 lbs, and potty trained.
• A maximum of 2 dogs allowed per reservation
• Pet fees apply:
  – $100

House Rules for Pets
• Dogs are not permitted on any furniture or beds
• Dogs must not be left unattended in the home at any time
• Dog bedding is not provided. Must bring your own.
• Dogs may not be washed in bathtubs or showers
• Dogs must be kept on a leash when on Lake Harmony community property
• Dogs that bark excessively or disturb neighbors may result in additional fees or requests to remove the pet

Health & Cleanliness Requirements
• Guests must clean up after their dogs and dispose of waste properly
• Any accidents inside the home must be cleaned by the guest and reported to the host
• Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused by their pets

NO SMOKING
This is a smoke free house. Any guests violating this rule by smoking inside the house will receive a $200 fee/fine.

WILDLIFE SAFETY
The Poconos are abundant with wildlife - including but not limited to eagles, hawks, deer, turkey, coyotes and bears. Please respect the animals. Do not feed the deer. Do not leave any food or garbage outside of the house. Please be mindful of small children and pets, as mentioned there are bears in these woods.
