Located in Rancho Luna in the village of Atotonilco—near the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sanctuary and only 15 minutes from the bustling, historic city of San Miguel de Allende—this unique retreat offers an opportunity to experience the Colonial heart of Mexico in a relaxing country setting.
Imagine spacious, sweeping lawns, verdant alfalfa fields, and stands of Mesquite trees framing the natural beauty of the countryside, and a cozy three-story casita from which to take it all in. Our rancho casita can accommodate up to four people. It has been carefully constructed with an artistic eye for detail in its wooden beams, custom-designed furniture and cabinets, local stone, and beautiful hand-painted tiles.
On the ground floor you’ll find a charming medieval-style kitchen with a wood-burning grill set into stone fireplaces, a large rustic table fashioned from local wood, and a few steps away, a spa room with a glass ceiling and beautiful uniquely-designed Roman-style hot tub that is fed by natural underground hot springs. There is an adjacent full bath. From the spa room, a door opens onto a large outdoor swimming pool, also fed by the springs.
Up one level, is a sitting area with a sofa/bed cozied up to a rustic stone fireplace. There is an additional bathroom and an access door to an outdoor corridor overlooking the pool and gardens.
On the top level there is a Queen-size bed with colorful Mexican bedding. A large picture window frames a bird’s eye view of the fields, pool, and surrounding gardens.
Extra services such as cooking, grocery shopping, horseback riding, and chauffeured transportation to San Miguel and surrounding sites, can be provided at an additional cost. Rates for these services are available on request.
