Cabin features include DTV/DVD, with a selection of CD's and DVD's. There's a combustion wood stove to cuddle up in front of, as well as reverse cycle aircon, free wifi, and outdoor barbecue area. There is a fully appointed kitchen with a microwave and gas cooktop, and all the crockery and cutlery you'll need. All bedding and towels are provided, as well as light breakfast provisions, which are left in the cabin on your arrival.

We have some lovely walking trails on the property, and the wildlife lovers won't be disappointed as we have several species of kangaroo and wallaby, as well as wild deer and magnificent bird life. If you're lucky, you might also see echidna and long necked turtles. For the bushwalker, the Spring Gully Conservation Park is nearby, at the end of Leighton Road.

We are handy for the amazing Riesling Trail, with around 60 kms of cycle/walking trail, which winds through the Clare Valley. Cycles can be hired from Cogwebs in Auburn or Clare Valley Cycles, and they can be delivered to your cabin.

Obviously, one of the main attractions for visitors is wine, but we now also have a number of local breweries too. With around 40 Cellar Doors, you can taste some of Australia's finest wines, with a good chance of meeting the Winemaker.

Our local hotel in Sevenhill was recently rated the best country dining venue in South Australia, with great food and the best range of Clare wines anywhere.

Clare township is a 15 minute drive away, and has a good range of shops, supermarkets and services.

Other attractions nearby include Mintaro, a National Trust listed historic village, the amazing Martindale Hall and the historic mining town of Burra.

Your 4 legged family aren't forgotten either. Well behaved and house trained dogs are welcome and are allowed to run off leash around the property. All we ask is that they stay off our soft furnishings, and are not left unattended in the cabin.

Wild Olive is a charming historical cottage, built in 1859, authentic on the outside, and super modern inside. Set in beautiful tranquil gardens & walking distance from Velvet & Willow Pantry, The Rising Sun Hotel, Terroir Restaurant & the Riesling Trail.
The space
The cottage was built in 1859 and is Heritage SA and National Trust listed. It has been through many lives over a hundred and forty years, including tea rooms, a library, a mechanics institute, a sweet shop and a few others. Wild Olive Cottage was designed to provide an unforgettable stay for one couple.

Upstairs is a magnificent, Victorian antique, nickel and silver Queen-size bed with high-quality linen. The cozy combustion fireplace (with complimentary wood) is wonderful to sit around on cold nights and there are plenty of things to entertain yourself with - smart TV with Netflix (!), high-speed complimentary WI-FI, a DVD movie library, games, books & a smart speaker to play your favourite music. Within the cottage, there are some beautiful pieces of furniture and artwork, much from local artists.

An internal metal spiral staircase joins the two floors. Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen, the benches are topped with local Mintaro slate and the cupboards are Blackwood. There is an under-bench oven, glass cooktop, microwave, toaster, capsule coffee machine & dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking your meals and is supplied with cooking necessities such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.

The space
Dennis is a beautiful two-storey cottage with a Mediterranean flavour at the gateway to the glorious Clare Valley. Wine, local produce, rolling pastures and peace. Unspoilt and beautiful, yet only an hour and a half from Adelaide. A magic getaway for two people or two couples.

A spacious well-equipped kitchen features an under bench oven, cooktop, microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher, capsule coffee machine (coffee pods included), tea selection, the very best of knives, cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your meals and is supplied with cooking necessities such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.

Leading from the kitchen is a separate dining room that looks onto the rose garden and down towards Dennis Creek. There are large French doors so you can savour the beautiful garden while dining.

The cozy combustion fireplace (with complimentary wood) is wonderful to sit around on cold nights and there are plenty of things to entertain yourself with - smart TV with Netflix (!), high-speed complimentary WI-FI, a DVD movie library, games, books & a smart speaker to play your favourite music.

It did have 2 wooden chairs in the room, but I wouldn't call those comfy. If the bed was a Queen, then there would be ample room for an armchair. Pros kitchen: fully functional! Could not fault the kitchen one bit. Pros bathroom: Clean and functional. What can I say? It's a bathroom. Small but I would expect that with the size of the cottage. Also dishwasher was not working and was switched off from the outlet. This meant the property manager knew that it was broken but chose not to inform the guests. Tried to contact the manager through text on a number given on the booklet but there was no response. After returning home we informed Stayz the sequence of events but they were very unhelpful and dismissive.I would definitely not recommend this property to any of my friends or colleagues. This is the worst experience we had compared to all the places we had stayed over the last 15 years."

This is our home which we are making available for your stay. This means you’ll notice a comfort, warmth and energy that is often missing from a formal BnB that is only used by guests.
The cottage offers two full-size bedrooms within its solid stone walls (one queen bed, one double bed), plus a separate bedroom housed alongside the main building in a 1960's schoolroom sourced from the nearby Blyth Primary School (one double, one single bed). The cottage has a bathroom containing a bath, shower and toilet and a second toilet located in the laundry. The laundry has a washer and dryer.
The lounge has a TV and a combustion wood heater for the cold winter nights. Wood is provided free of charge. The wood heater is not available November through March.
The cottage and the schoolroom are fully airconditioned with split system aircon units and the three bedrooms also have ceiling fans. A portable fan is also available if required.
The main bedroom queen bed mattress is quite firm, the second bedroom double bed mattress and all other beds are softer.
Prices listed are for 4 people accessing the two main bedrooms. Extra guests are at $50 each per night. If there are 3 or 4 guests and access to the "Schoolroom" 3rd bedroom is required (ie 3 or 4 people spread over more than 2 beds/bedrooms) there will be a $50 extra one-off charge regardless of the number of nights.

The cottage sits on over 5 acres of land. The house yard has a vegetable garden (currently being renovated) and fruit trees that you may access for your needs during your stay and you can wander further afield up to the back paddock to view the neighbouring vines and visiting livestock. We have a few sheep of our own so any gates you pass through must be closed behind you. PLEASE MAKE SURE CHILDREN ARE SUPERVISED WITH THE SHEEP AND DO NOT CHASE THEM. Bird-life is in abundance.

Very generous breakfast provisions to cook your own breakfast are provided for the first morning. You may access pantry contents which include dry cereals, oats and spreads for subsequent mornings. Fridge contents may be used but not the freezer.
The nearby Watervale General Store does an amazing breakfast you might try on other mornings.

Oaktree cottage was built in the late 1800’s but has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. Everything that a couple would need to have a relaxing getaway is available in this comfortable home. Extremely conveniently located to the town centre, Riesling Trail and many wineries of the Clare Valley, you should be able to find plenty to do. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space.

We cater to adults only, but not to children, infants or pets.

The space
You will find the cottage comfortable and cozy, with a large king bed with quality linens and towels provided, multiple living areas to enjoy whatever your mood and outdoor areas to relax in as well.

The luxurious bedroom has a very comfortable king bed with extra blankets in the drawers provided for those colder nights.

The main living room has a TV and slow combustion fireplace as well as a reverse cycle unit for heating and cooling. There are two other living areas to enjoy with a book or magazine or a glass of wine or cup of tea or coffee, depending on the time of day. Plenty of rugs are provided throughout the house to throw over your knees on a cold day.

The dining room has a large, oak table with comfortable seats, adjacent to the kitchen. Set up here for meals, using the lap top or playing cards of an evening.

Outside there is a large patio with gas barbecue, table and chairs or sit on the front veranda and watch the world go by.

The bathroom and well appointed kitchen are new and modern with everything you should need for a comfortable stay.

Quality towels and toiletries are provided in the bathroom, which has a double vanity, makeup mirror, hairdryer, bath and invigorating shower with plenty of hot water.

The kitchen is spacious and includes microwave, oven with cook top and fridge/freezer with ice maker. We provide tea and coffee making facilities (Nespresso machine with coffee pods, tea bags, sugar and milk frother) and a small quantity of milk to get you started.

In the laundry, you will have access to a washing machine and separate dryer and laundry detergent plus an iron and ironing board. Cleaning products are also provided if you need.

As a welcome gift, we will leave a bottle of Clare Valley wine for you to enjoy during your stay.

The cottage is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre and two minutes to the Riesling Trail. There is nothing better than a morning walk along here, where you may see kangaroos and plentiful bird life amongst the trees and vines. Afterwards, head in to the main street for a coffee, breakfast or brunch at one of the wonderful cafes or bakeries. There are some lovely gift, home-wares and clothing stores in the town as well.

For the rest of your stay, ride or walk the trails of the valley, visit the art galleries or other quaint towns along the main road or stop in to one (or more!) of the world class wineries and cellar doors to enjoy a tasting.

Our beautiful late 1800’s cottage (circa 1890) has been lovingly restored and renovated, offering modern facilities while retaining its old charm and warmth. A short walk from the main Street of Clare with easy access to restaurants, shops, bakeries, art galleries, antique stores and of course, famous wineries. In the heart of the 'Riesling trail', set amongst the beautiful vineyards of Clare Valley.

The space
A beautiful, renovated old miners cottage in the heart of Clare. Maggie’s has that old world charm with all the modern conveniences including high speed internet (and chromecast).
The cottage has reverse cycle heating/ cooling - and a combustion heater in the lounge room for cosy winter evenings. There is also reverse cycle heating/cooling in both the master bedroom and the Queen room.
Fire wood is supplied from May to Oct.
Quilts/ pillows/ blankets are provided. Linen and towels also provided.
No pets allowed, as mentioned previously (although there is room for negotiation on this).
Please note that the house is definitely a non smoking house. If smoking outside please dispose of cigarette buts in the bin (not the garden beds).
There are no parties or functions to be held at the property.

The space
The cottage was built in 1859 and is Heritage SA and National Trust listed. It has been through many lives over a hundred and forty years, including tea rooms, a library, a mechanics institute, a sweet shop and a few others. Wild Olive Cottage was designed to provide an unforgettable stay for one couple.

Upstairs is a magnificent, Victorian antique, nickel and silver Queen-size bed with high-quality linen. The cozy combustion fireplace (with complimentary wood) is wonderful to sit around on cold nights and there are plenty of things to entertain yourself with - smart TV with Netflix (!), high-speed complimentary WI-FI, a DVD movie library, games, books & a smart speaker to play your favourite music. Within the cottage, there are some beautiful pieces of furniture and artwork, much from local artists.

An internal metal spiral staircase joins the two floors. Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen, the benches are topped with local Mintaro slate and the cupboards are Blackwood. There is an under-bench oven, glass cooktop, microwave, toaster, capsule coffee machine & dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking your meals and supplied with cooking necessities such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.

Through the Winter season from 1st of May to 30th November you'll have access to our amazingly unique hot rock sauna room and bush rain shower- it's really something special to experience. The cosy wood fire heats the whole cottage and you can cook on the outside BBQ.

Through the Summer time from 1st Dec to 30th April, you may like to sleep in comfort under the stars in the outdoor bug free deck to feel the warm night air as you rest. You'll love cooling off in the outside showers and swinging in hammock.
The views over the valleys and contours are spectacular from the treetop perspective at the cottage and surrounding high points. It's perfect serenity.

The whole 100acres, 2 hills & 1 lovely valley, is yours to explore, walk and sit. Pack a picnic, walk the tracks, skim rocks in the dam and discover the old orchard. Roos and bird life is usually abundant, not forgetting the Monarch butterflies through the Summer. You have the whole space to yourselves. No sharing!

Trestrail is designed for you to explore and reconnect with the natural environment. Trestrail is a self catering 1 bedroom cottage for two people only. A romantic retreat with no one to disturb you. We discourage technology and provide a blissful place to unplug and remember what it feels like to be hidden away. No wifi provided, no hustle and bustle, just peaceful countryside.
Please note delicious local breakfast provisions are provided if booked as an extra package at $20/ 2 people/day. Breakfast is left in the cottage prior to your arrival and there for self cater during your stay. I am more than happy to cater to dietary requirements. Pantry items, tea and coffee are provided complimentary.

Dennis is a beautiful two storey cottage with a Mediterranean flavour at the gateway to the glorious Clare Valley. Wine, local produce, rolling pastures and peace. Unspoilt and beautiful, yet only an hour and a half from Adelaide. A magic getaway for two people or two couples.

The space
A spacious well-equipped kitchen features an under bench oven, cooktop, microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher, capsule coffee machine (coffee pods included), tea selection, the very best of knives, cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your meals and is supplied with cooking necessities such as cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar.

Leading from the kitchen is a separate dining room that looks onto the rose garden and down towards Dennis Creek. There are large French doors so you can savour the beautiful garden while dining.

The cozy combustion fireplace (with complimentary wood) is wonderful to sit around on cold nights and there are plenty of things to entertain yourself with - smart TV with Netflix (!), high-speed complimentary WI-FI, a DVD movie library, games, books & a smart speaker to play your favourite music.
