- "I absolutely love this hostel! It’s nice and clean and the staff is really friendly and helpful ! I’ve stayed here a few times since the 1st time. As a solo female traveler I would say 10/10 recommend! " - "The place is awesome. Hard time to do check in. They are never around there. " - "This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. I had one of the bunk beds but had loads of space plus the curtains if I wanted privacy. (I felt likeI was staying on an overnight train!) The common areas, both inside and outside, were really nice. As far as the location -- it couldn't have been better. There were restaurants and bars right there. And, if I wanted to head into town, it was easily walkable or I rented a bike. I will stay there again for sure!"

DO NOT sleep here if you have a bad back of any kind. The only upside if the entire experience was the owner was very nice and friendly and the on-site manager was super sweet and helpful." - "Don’t go!"

- "Great area . Nice house in quiet setting and beautiful property. " - "Pictures do not do justice to the house, its very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is on the small side, but worked perfectly for our group of 14. The fridge is on the older side but held what we needed to grill out and have a shrimp boil. We did have an issue with the propane tank being empty, luckily we brought a half full one from home for the shrimp boil and used it until we could refill the other tank. Beds were comfortable. Some showers better than others, primary was the best. The primary bath really needs a door or curtain. The deck was spacious and cool with the fans. Loved the rocking chairs and gliders. It was nice sitting around talking at the end of the day. The record player was a HIT! We had horseshoe tournaments, corn hole and bocci ball. The best hit were the animals, new baby pigs, baby ducks, Winston the Cow, Daisies the Donkey and all the pigs. Our nine year old grandson learned about Poke Salit and feed it to the pigs through the fence. Nice mowed walking trails for us older folks. The kids road bikes even on the main road with hardly any traffic to worry about. We intended to kayak but the kids were so busy with all the above and a 1500 piece puzzle that we never made it to the lake. Only a few miles of beautiful scenery to Liepers Fork. Internet was very spotty and calls dropped easily. But being in a valley surrounded by trees makes that not so much of a problem. We were meet by Wade when we arrived. We meet Leeann and Jonathan during out visit."

Other Things to Note:
Important Note for Starstruck Farm and Twig City Farm Guests: If you reserve one of my Tiny Houses, Horses Stall Suites, A-Frame Glampers, Tents, Teepees or Pitch-A-Tent Listings please stop and consider that you are reserving a listing located on a farm and in the country. It is not unusual to see an occasional insect or small Tennessee wildlife (including Stuart Little on very rare occasion) during your visit. If this is an issue for you or anyone in your party please do not make a reservation. I am not able to provide a full or partial refund.
Perfection, Comfort, Luxury, Rain and Leaky Roofs: We are “Perfectly Imperfect” and cannot guarantee that you will be in perfect comfort and luxury. Don’t make a reservation if you expect a Hilton type experience. We are not in that business. During heavy rains, there might be a roof leak particularly in teepees and glamping tents. There could be occasional maintenance issues and we will always resolve them in the quickest timeframe possible. We will always do our best but don’t expect perfection please.
Hunting: We do not permit hunting of any type of either property and in fact consider the farms to be Tennessee Wildlife Preserves. However, you could hear occasional gunfire off in the distance because hunting is legal in Tennessee and is an integral part of the Tennessee heritage and culture.
Fireworks and Farm Noises: You are likely to hear typical farm noises during your visit. We also have fireworks periodically throughout the year at Starstruck Farm on holidays and special events.
Reserving a Listing for Others: Although we accept third party reservations, please do not make a reservation for others without first discussing this information with them. Remember that you will be the responsible party and stop to consider that THEY may not have the same desire to visit a rural setting.
After Hours Guest Services: Also, we cannot be responsible for being “on-call” after 6 p.m. for minor guest needs and services. Repair of maintenance issues might not be possible until the following morning. Upon your arrival please inspect your listing inside and outside and let us know then, if something needs to be addressed, rather than late at night. Please arrive before dark to become acclimated and to enjoy the properties.
Thanks again and best wishes!
Jay.

Aunt Lucille was married to Uncle Aldus and probably the only woman on Earth that could keep Unk in line! She was a great gal who spoke softly but when she spoke everyone listened! Unk and Lucille were the unofficial mayors of my little hometown of Willow Branch, Indiana!

Why Tom Jones? Tom was my best friend and someone who gave me inspiration in my life. Tom was one of the last kids to contract polio and spent the rest of his short life on crutches. Ironically, Tom's older brother was a champion runner in the state of Indiana. Despite Tom's condition he went on to own his own feed and seed store and livestock hauling company and was truly a King! Rest in peace my best friend Tom! God loves you and so do I.

- "The house is set back from the road down a rural lane surrounded by fields and woods which were beautiful even in December. The ranch style home was good for the 6 of us. The bookshelves and cupboards are loaded with items from the 50s and are interesting to explore. The kitchen is equipped with a flat top stove, 2 ovens, microwave, and a dishwasher with plenty of glassware and dishes. We were glad to have brought our own knives, baking dishes, coffee equipment, and large skillet. Internet was available but did not reach well to the rear areas of the house. We brought our own Fire stick for the TV. Supermarkets are available in Franklin, 5 miles away. The property manager was available by text and phone and very responsive although a notebook that is typically available at rental homes was not present. The backyard had a great hot tub and fire pit with adirondack chairs. Deer were present in the front field on most mornings. Coyotes howled up and down the valley one evening. The Conservancy property was great to explore with wide mown paths available to explore both on flat land and up into the hills. The Conservancy farm is 1 mile down the road. We plan to go back and try one of their properties with a larger group."
