The full kitchen provides all you’ll need to prepare small or large meals complete with a beautiful island, full refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee pot and / or Keurig single serve, and pantry to store all your food. You’ll also be provided with a stackable washer and dryer here in case you need to get anything cleaned up during a long stay.

There are two beautiful bedrooms in this home, the first with a queen bed, extra storage, an en-suite bathroom and a door that leads to the backyard! The master bathroom is newly remodeled and has a tub/shower to relax in after a long day.

The second bedroom contains one double bed for another couple or kiddos and is full of charm. There is an additional half bath in this home for more space to get ready for your Brighton adventures!

The entire home has been renovated and has all new furnishings and new stainless-steel appliances.

The living room has a comfortable sofa, loveseat, ottoman and recliner, an electric fireplace and a 50" Roku TV with remote. Streaming services are available with guest's own accounts. The perfect place for relaxing, reading and watching movies! Board games, card games and playing cards are located inside the TV stand. Lamps have USB chargers on them.

The dining room offers a large dining table with seating for 6 people.

The primary bedroom has a King size bed, bedside tables, lamps w/USB chargers and 2 luggage racks. The vacuum and cornhole set and hot tub towels are located in the King bedroom closet.

Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed, bedside tables, lamps w/USB chargers, and 2 luggage racks.

Bedroom 3 has a Full-size bed, bedside tables, lamps w/USB chargers, and 2 luggage racks.

The bathroom has a tub/shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. The vanity has one sink. Hairdryer provided for guest use. First Aid kit located in the bathroom vanity drawer.

The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher and microwave. It is fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, cooking utensils silverware, dishes, glasses and more. There is a Keurig coffee maker, a French Press, & electric hot water kettle. Regular/decaf coffee pods, tea, creamer & sweeteners/sugar provided. A variety of spices, salt/pepper, oil/red wine vinegar provided. There is a bar set and a wall opening with bar/countertop and stools looking into the dining area.

There's a full-size washer and dryer available for guest use.

The hot tub is covered for protection from the elements. The hot tub towels are located in the King bedroom closet.

We are dog friendly and allow 1 dog per reservation. There is a pet fee. Please include a pet in your reservation so the fee will automatically be charged. Please see house rules for more information.

Guests will have access to the entire house and yard.

There is room for multiple vehicles in the driveway for parking.

Check-in instructions, address, WiFi password and WiFi smart lock code (to enter the front door) will be sent prior to guest arrival. Check-out instructions will be sent prior to guest departure.

This home has one exterior security camera at the front door facing the driveway and one exterior camera on the back of the house pointing toward the shed. Both cameras will be on during your stay. There are no cameras inside the home. We respect our guest's privacy when they stay at our home.

Dogs are welcome, please see house rules for requirements. Sorry, no cats or other animals allowed.
Pet Rules:
Dogs are permitted by request only and upon approval. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed (max weight 50lbs). There is a pet fee. Please include your pet when booking so the fee will automatically be added to your reservation. Guest must provide dog bed, crate and/or kennel. Dogs are not permitted to lay on the furniture or bedding. They must be secured in a crate/kennel if left unattended at any point. Guest must pick up dog waste and dispose of in waste bags that are securely tied. Please keep your dog leashed when outside. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by their pets. Sorry, no cats or other animals are allowed.

Lovely house definitely unique area.Pros: private , yard and property is spacious , host communication is excellent. Cons: No closet space , no place to hang your clothes. Bugs coming through the vents through out the house. Not sure what I can say about the old head stone we found behind the shed. If you are going outside at night watch for critters and falling tree branches."

- "The odor of cats/litter box hits you as you walk in the door. It says it sleeps 10, but there were no extra sheets or blankets for the coach. The towels that were left on the shelf were still damp. When I went to put them in the dryer I had to clean the dryer vent of approximately 2” of lint. The luxurious linens were paper thin and stained. They looked like they had been used before with all the wrinkles and stains on them. It says sleeps 10, but only seating for 4. No dish soap, hand soap or garbage bags. Not in the best neighborhood either. The gaps in the doors, even with the deadbolts, don’t make you feel safe."

Grammys over 100 year old cabin at the creek is a great place to bring the kids to unplug from city life. Bring your toothbrush and some food to grill. Some poles for fishing, and refreshing beverage. Sit on the back porch and watch time pass as each thing floats down the river. Light a fire a night, roast some marshmallows. Hike at the Fort Pillow State park, take a dip in the lake. Let the kids be kids. Brings the dogs. Make some coffee, let’s chat for awhile. Slow down for a day or three.

The space
Guests can access all space. We are just a ten minute drive from Fort Pillow State park which is a major hub for history students. They have hiking trails, paddleboats, playgrounds, lakes and a museum. We are surrounded by bodies of water for fishing enthusiasts. If you are a treasure seeker bring a metal detector!

This cabin is on the river which causes the foundation to shift which means it is always a work in progress.
It is not new or trendy, but rustic, peaceful and enough to get by with to have a great time at the river.
There is a boat ramp within walking distance and you can park your truck and trailer on our 1/2 acre property.
Our neighbors are fantastic and will likely invite you to BBQ with them and have a drink or show you the ropes of fishing with the “cold creek mafia” a joke amongst the locals.
You can be your authentic self, kids can be kids and everyone will love your super friendly, but well behaved dog.
