- "This was a nice surprice! I booked a cheap hotel, but got more than expected! Not what I expected after reading some other reviews, but I learned that the management has changed and the obvious Covid problems were the largest cause of these reviews. After a very nice welcome I went directly to my room, which was clean, convenient and with a good filled welcome plate (tea, coffee, hot chocolate and off course the chocolats on one of the many pillows..) A clean and fine bathroom, good bed (not very hard, exactly my style), so oke for me. Next morning there was a good breakfast possible and I took the ‘full continental’. Top! Shortly spoke to the kind manager who is very busy making the hotel also a place for all kind of arrangements (they had already converted part of the hotel into a small conference room) and all kind of dining options/evenings for locals or groups of tourists, which would make the hotel even more a place to be and a basis to look in the very nice surroundings in this part of Wales. Tony & Chris (and their 3 doggies) invite you to come stay in their home and will give you a very warm welcome. This lovely, spacious room is a double, but can be increased to a triple with a comfy portable Z-bed if needed. Brohedyn is a large Victorian villa situated in the village of Adpar, part of the small market-town of Newcastle Emlyn. We also have another luxury double/triple rooms potentially available with shared shower room, and a Grand Superking Room with private luxury bathroom

The space
The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. We love the character and charm of our home and we’ve furnished the rooms with period furniture, whilst giving a slightly modern twist on the decoration, but still in keeping with the period of the house. You have a fridge, into which we will put bottled water, and the milk of your choosing. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room as well as a hairdryer. The smart TV gives you access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4 and My5 etc. The shared shower room is decorated in neutral tones and has daylight spots which make it a lovely bright room. There is additional lighting above the mirror. We have chosen a high specification for everything in the shared shower room, including luxury basin/tap, and state of the art shower cubicle.

Other things to note
There is free parking at the top of our driveway, free Wifi throughout the property (with Wifi boosters on every floor). The veranda is an amazing place to sit and relax at any time of day, we but we've seen some beautiful sunsets from there :-)

The Waun Wyllt is an 18th century property with bar & restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. There are 3en-suite bedrooms available.

The space
There are 3 separate en-suite rooms available, this listing is for one of the rooms. A travel cot or single futon bed can be added to any room upon request for an additional £10 per stay.

Family Room ,Located in the town centre of Carmarthen, which holds up to 2 adults and 4 Children, 2 double beds and 1 sofa bed

Former home of the poet Dylan Thomas. Beautiful Georgian dolls house with epic views of the estuary.

The space
Enjoy attentive hospitality at the former family home of beloved Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas in Laugharne on the Carmarthenshire coast. The charming boutique style en suite bedrooms each with a view across the estuary are available throughout the year and offer a fantastic short-break location in a quiet spot with views of the nearby castle estuary and countryside. Following an extensive restoration project Seaview provides a unique destination both in quality and historic provenance.

Dylan Thomas lived in 3 locations around Laugharne and moved to Sea View, with Caitlin, who was pregnant at the time, in 1938, and is quoted in saying that the 2 years they spent there was ‘the happiest period of our lives together’. Here they entertained a host of personalities including the writer TS Elliott and the painter Augustus John who memorably described it as a 'doll's house'.

You will find Seaview welcoming, comfortable and restful.

We offer a continental breakfast but we can prepare a cooked welsh breakfast for an extra cost. We can and will cater for all tastes, please let us know what your preferences are on point of booking and we will endeavor to meet your requirements. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room which is adjacent to a restful reading/sitting room to which the guests have access.

Seaview is there to help you unwind. We have wifi throughout the building but we encourage you to switch off your phones and leave behind the outside world!

The accommodation is decorated and fitted to a standard to make your stay as comfortable as possible whilst retaining the character of this important building.

I have two large en-suite rooms on the second floor of the property.
These can be booked separately or together and are opposite each other with a landing space separating them.
Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room which is adjacent to a restful reading/sitting room to which the guests have access.

Other things to note
I have two very kind labradors who live in the basement with me and don’t have access to the guests spaces. However they do like to welcome you when you arrive! Do let me know if you are nervous of dogs.

The Grand Room has a superking bed with luxury mattress to ensure the best night's sleep. Within the Victorian wardrobe you will find a neatly hidden-away fridge for keeping things chilled. There is a 32" smart TV with all major streaming channels connected, such as Netflix, Prime, iPlayer etc but if you want "normal telly" this is only available in the guest lounge. You have a comfy sofa and armchair for relaxing and the best views of the Teifi Valley from anywhere in the house.
