The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed (we baked cakes and made a roast dinner among other things). My 11 year old LOVED the sofa bed and I found it surprisingly comfortable too - we had it out for our entire stay. We're home bodies so didn't venture out but the cottage was very cosy with excellent WiFi and mobile signal. We were able to drive to an Aldi that was approximately 25 minutes away so we could do our self-catering without relying on expensive corner shops. We only walked around the farm and the surrounding land but it was all beautiful even though we had quite stormy weather. Just a caution for anyone with a reactive dog: the cottage was attached to the host's home via an internal door which meant we could hear their dogs which sometimes set ours off. We all got used to it very soon and our dog was comfortable enough to settle quickly each time so wasn't an issue for us in the end. Would return."

The space
The entire house has a beach/harbour and vintage theme. There is a downstairs bathroom (with shower overhead), toilet, kitchen and large lounge to relax with a large screenTV, dining and workspace area. Free Wi Fi. There are 2 double bedrooms with double beds upstairs - Vintage and Harbour room. One bedroom has small TV. Stairs are cottage type and narrow, but there is a banister rail going down the stairs. There is a single floor mattress in the harbour room, or a put up bed downstairs in the lounge on request to accommodate if more guests staying. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric double over and gas hob, toaster, fridge freezer, washing machine with dryer, microwave, cutlery and crockery etc. Duvets/pillows provided as well as bed linen and towels. There is an attractive outside yard and garden area where on warmer months pleasant to sit outside with a glass of wine! Night light too in the yard area. Check-in times are 4pm onwards and check-out at 11 am. But this can be flexible if no other guests arriving same day. Its a place of home from home which is comfortable, user friendly, and cosy. Guest access
Guests can access the entire house. There is on road parking just outside the house, or opposite by the garages. Bicycles can be kept in the yard outside the back of the property. Please note the access code changes from time to time, so please see the code in your welcome letter sent by email when you book. Easy access to M4 motorway.

Other things to note
In a good location very close to shops, restaurants, takeaways, and 15-20 minutes walk to the beach or 5 mins drive away. Llanelli is off the M4 and if travelling by car other as other areas in on the South Welsh coast can be explored. Near to train station (approx 7 to 8 mins walk), and public transport.
Check out and in times can be flexible so please request. Tourist information left in the house for guests to read. Please inform if bringing a dog at time of booking and fee is paid separately.

Red Kite Cottage is a small traditional farm house thought to date back to the late 18th century. It has recently been renovated with a new kitchen and modern facilities but maintaining traditional features such as exposed beams, terracotta floor tiles and a woodburning stove.

The space
Our new kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, full sized cooker (4 hobs), microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and most common utensils. (There is no clothes washing machine in the cottage). A new TV with built in DVD player is provided. Wifi is available and free (please note that because of the rural location, broadband speed is not super fast, it's fine for web browsing, social media, emails etc but may not be sufficient for video streaming etc. Mobile signal can also be patchy, but is much improved by connecting through the internet.
Bedroom 1 can be set as twin beds or one super king size.
Bedroom 2 can be set up as twin beds or one king size.
Just let us know in advance how you would like the beds configured. There is a travel cot available if required (please request in advance).
Please note the shower room does not contain a bath.
A BBQ is also available.

The cottage looks out onto the Presell hills which are great for walking.
Both the west and south coasts are about 30 minutes drive away, they provide stunning views and lots to do.
There are many castles and places of historic interest to be explored in the area.
Mark and Liz would be happy to provide directions and suggestions about how to make the most of your stay if you like. There are numerous leaflets and tourist information provided in the cottage. Alternatively feel free to simply unwind and relax!

Other things to note
Pets are allowed but must be kept under control at all times. They are not permitted on the furniture or beds. We ask that dogs are not left alone in the accommodation.
The premises are non smoking.
There are two off road parking spaces allocated to the cottage guests.
There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance. The nearest mini market/post office is 3 miles away.
There is a Tesco and Morrisons in Carmarthen, both will deliver to our house if you should wish to arrange a delivery for the day of your arrival. Tesco also has a 'click and collect' service.
Please contact us before travelling for detailed directions on how to find us, we find Satnav's often take people on 'interesting' routes and lead you to a farm 1/2 mile down the road!

Traditional Welsh stone built cottage in a former mining village. We're less than 10 mins away from the Black Mountain on Brecon Beacons. We are within walking distance of local shops & takeaways. There are numerous waterfalls, castles, beaches, cycling trails & dog walks to be experienced within 30 mins of our cottage.
Important to note that older welsh cottages like this one have quite low ceilings if you are over 6'3 it may not be comfortable for you. Fully Enclosed Garden

The space
Our lovely cottage has 3 bedroom's, A double bedroom and a single both upstairs each with a velux window over looking Betws Mountain. Double bedroom has a handmade built in wardrobe. The single also has a hanging rail for clothes too. On the landing there are 2 cupboards where you will find Towels and blankets and fleece throws.

Downstairs we have another single room with a hanging rail and a chest of drawers

The living room has 2 sofas, coffee table, table and 2 benches, TV with amazon firestick this has Netflix and Prime. WiFi. Also has a basket of clean dog toys and 2 freshly laundered dog beds.

Kitchen has Fridge freezer, Gas oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine and tumble dryer also has the gas boiler. There is a bottom cupboard to the right of the back door. This is the DOG cupboard. this has bowls and dog towels there.

The shower room is a wet room with a seat if you have a disability.

We have parking for 2 cars outside our back door and our garden is also at the back which is fully enclosed and dog friendly. we also have a rotary washing line. NON SMOKING COTTAGE

Bwthyn-y-Gorwel is a pretty detached cottage which has been lovingly converted from a 19th century stone milking parlour. It has an open plan living and kitchen area with a cathedral ceiling and exposed beams.
The full kitchen has everything you'll need for your stay, the bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed and the fast Wi-Fi helps you work and play.

The cottage is within easy reach of 3 of the top 10 beaches in the UK and is within our smallholding, surrounded by glorious countryside.

The cottage is within the grounds of an old gate lodge dating back to 1840, it has its own patio and garden so you can relax in the evenings with a barbecue and preferred refreshment.

The Potting Shed sits in its own grounds, surrounded by trees and flowers. All the windows look out onto its gardens. It has a large fenced in garden. Also 2 paddocks to walk in.
We have built The Potting Shed using reclaimed wood where possible and with a mixture of old and new furnishings gives it a homely stylish feel.
It is fully self-contained.
We do welcome ONE well behaved dog. £5 per night.
It is perfect for a summer or winter break.
Sorry but we do not allow children or infants.

The space
There is a light and airy living and kitchen space, which looks over the garden, so you can enjoy cooking, eating and just chilling.
The bedroom has plenty of room, plus a King Size bed, with the window overlooking its garden.
Next to the bedroom is a good size bathroom with a walk in shower.

Cosy and welcoming holiday cottage on the outskirts of the market town of Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. This recently renovated cottage is a former barn located on our peaceful 30 acre small holding - home to sheep, pigs, chickens and even a couple of alpacas! This cottage offers a perfect base if you are looking for a rural break within striking distance of the stunning beaches and countryside of West Wales combined with the convenience of the shops and amenities Carmarthen has to offer.

The space
The cottage sleeps 4-5 people in two bedrooms (one double and one twin, with the option of an additional child’s size bed if required). We welcome well behaved dogs. Please be aware that we do have livestock on the small holding so dogs would need to be under the owner’s control at all times.

The cottage has a bathroom (with shower) and a well-equipped kitchen ideal for self catering, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.. There is a separate dining area, a lounge and access to a private patio area with enclosed, lawned garden. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided for guest use. Parking is available for 2-3 vehicles. Throughout the cottage there are beautiful, relaxing views over the River Tywi and open farmland.
The holiday cottage is located close to, but separate from, our own house. We are happy to offer information on local walks and beaches, attractions, places to eat and anything else we can help with - please just ask!

"Ty-Ni" is situated in the idyllic township of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales.
Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and writing shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Ideally located to explore the Coastal Path for stunning scenic walks, and close to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth & further a field St David's, Pembroke, the West Coast.

The space
A cosy cottage which is well situated in the heart of the village and well equipped to help you enjoy your stay. The ground floor is open plan with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a sofa bed. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and shower room. Externally we have a small west facing courtyard with outside seating that catches the afternoon and evening sun and an allocated parking space for one car.
