Sympathetically renovated, the Boathouse is a beautiful, 2 bedroom, 2 storey house which sleeps up to 5. Set in the heart of the village it is literally a 30 second walk to the lovely Little Haven beach. With parking for the guests car directly in front of the front door you can just roll right into this fully equipped house.

The Boathouse, is upside down in design, with 2 bedrooms downstairs and an airy, contemporary, open plan living space upstairs. The master bedroom has a king size bed and bedroom 2, bunk beds and a single bed. In addition the property has safety gates and a high chair if required. There is a feature window upstairs, allowing the viewer beautiful views of the village and crashing waves at high tide.

The cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast, with the village having 3 excellent pubs, an art gallery, craft shop and a relaxed beach cafe.

Spent a fair bit of time looking out of the windows! The location is superb - right in the middle of the village with two minutes walk to the beach or to the three pubs and tea room. This delightful self-catering holiday cottage in Broad Haven, Pembrokeshire, is situated just a few minutes stroll from the beautiful family-friendly sandy beach and village amenities. Set back off a quiet road in a peaceful area of the village with dedicated parking for 1 vehicle. It is an ideal base from which to explore the stunning National Coastal Path. One double bed, one sofa bed, two single foam z beds (on mezzanine not suitable for younger children). One well behaved dog welcome.

Other things to note
Bedding included for the double bed. Please supply your own bedding (pillows, duvet, sheets) for the sofa bed in the lounge. There are two single foam z beds on the mezzanine that are suitable for older children however these are not proper beds and you would need to provide your own bedding if you chose tonuse these. Calves Cot is a traditional stone cottage for 5 people in a fantastic location with it being only a 3 min walk to Broad Haven's blue flag sandy beach and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. There is a private courtyard patio and garden, and guests also have the use of Millmoor Farm Cottages communal gardens. A parking space is included.
We use the cottage ourselves with our own family so we've made a real effort to kit out the cottage with everything you need for a great (and easy!) holiday with kids.

The space
Calves Cot has an open plan kitchen and living space, a bathroom with shower-bath, and three bedrooms that sleep 5 (a kingsize, a single, and a set of single bunk beds).

In the living area are two large sofas, a HDTV with Amazon Firestick and Chromecast, a dining table that can seat up to 6 guests. There's also a cupboard full of toys, books, jigsaws and boardgames to keep the family entertained whatever the weather. For your own safety, the 'crog loft' is not accessible to guests and access is restricted by a fixed stair gate.

We're keen cooks so have comprehensively kitted out the kitchen with everything you might need for quality self-catering from Sabatier knives to weighing scales and cake tins! There's a full electric oven/grill, an induction hob, a dishwasher and a washing machine. In the hallway you'll find vacuum, ironing board and iron, laundry racks and pegs.

The bedrooms were renovated in 2022: the first has a single bed, the second has bunk-bed singles and the master room has a king-size bed. All the rooms have clothes storage spaces and bedside tables and lamps. We provide all guests with a hand towel and bath towel for use in the cottage.

The bathroom has a WC, wash basin and bath with a rain-shower and hose-head shower for washing sandy toes.

Toys and childrens' books are provided: including balls, buckets and spades for the beach! Infants and children are most welcome: the cottage is equipped with highchair, travel cot, bed guard, changing mat and baby bath. There's a selection of plastic crockery and cutlery.

We accepts dogs but do ask you don't leave them unattended in the cottage or allow them on furniture.

Guest access
Calves Cot has its own private courtyard patio with picnic table, and a small garden. Guests may also make full use of the Millmoor Farm Cottages communal gardens with their stunning sea views, large grassy play space, outdoor BBQ areas, picnic tables and large washing line: perfect for drying off beach kit!

Calves Cot has free parking for one car in the Millmoor Farm Cottages car park, with further free parking subject to availability. The Pembrokeshire Coast national park car park is just the other side of the wall and also offers parking (£5/day or £30/week, free early November to mid March) and has two EV charging points.

This beautiful Cottage is a 3 minute walk to the popular Broad Haven beach .
This location is ideal for families , couples and walkers as well as dog lovers with its vast choice of dog friendly establishments on the seafront.
Visitors may access the famous Pembrokeshire coastal path from Broad Haven .
The cottage itself is a two bedroom cottage with living area and sofa bed, newly refurbished kitchen and a small court yard to the rear .

The space
The cottage compromises one spacious master room with double bed , one smaller room with twin beds .

Additional guests can make use of the sofa bed in the living room (please specify on booking if you wish to use the sofa bed). Although the sofa bed is a double , due to the side of the house I would recommend that it could not accommodate 6 full size adults.

A travel cot is available upon request .

Dog bowls are available but I would ask guests to provide their own pet bedding .

Rose Cottage offers a cosy retreat at all times of the year, perfect for couples wanting to get away from the crowds in winter or enjoy the vibrance of the village in the summer.
This quaint, well equipped cottage is one of the oldest in the village and offers modern living whilst retaining period features.
It is dog friendly (up to one per stay) and perfectly situated within the village and also for the coastal path, beaches and surrounding areas.

The space
The living room has a traditional lime flagstone floor, a wood burner, an electric heater, a comfy 3 seater sofa to sink into and a table and chairs for dining.

The kitchen contains an electric double oven and grill, an overhead extractor fan, kettle, 4 slice toaster, sink and a built in undercounted fridge with icebox.

There is a small wet room and a small cloakroom with toilet, sink and heated towel rail.

The bedroom upstairs has a pitched ceiling, built in cupboard space, a double bed and light switches/USB/sockets either side of the bed.

There is a keysafe located on the front door frame for easy access.

Parking is available in the village car park. A permit will be available for guests to use free of charge but an additional charge of £120 will be incurred if the permit is removed from the cottage on departure.

Towels and bed linen are provided but please bring your own beach towels. There will be an additional charge of £50 if the towels provided have been used elsewhere.

The cottage is dog friendly (no other pets) but is restricted to one dog per stay.
Please bring your own pet towels/beds etc. and wipe down your dog before entering the cottage.
Pets are not allowed on the sofa or upstairs.

Crofta Cottage is a traditional, seaside holiday cottage, beautifully designed with plenty of living space and a cosy Log burner
The split level lounge and kitchen / diner are open-plan and spacious. The kitchen / diner has French doors opening out onto the rear enclosed garden with a large paved patio, ideal for summer evenings.
Steep, narrow, open tread stairs lead from the lounge to the 3 bedrooms
It’s only 100 yards from Little Haven beach with access to 3 pubs within a 4 minute walk.

The space
Downstairs is an open plan split level space with a cosy feeling . The kitchen is open and adjoins a dining area where there is a slate dinning table to seat 6 and a sofa , a very social space . There are 2 more sofas in the living area with the log burner and TV .
Upstairs has 3 double bedrooms .
The first has a double bed and wardrobe , the second has a double bed and a single ( perfect for a young child ) and a wardrobe with a small en suite shower room . The third bedroom is a smaller room with a double bed and built in cupboard .
The bathroom has a bath and a shower .
There is a enclosed sheltered garden at the rear of the house . Ideal with pets and small children .

Enjoy quality time with your loved ones as you dine at our extending table, which seats up to six guests. There is a movable stair gate for children or to keep dogs curtailed.

The space
Millbrook has been designed with family living in mind.
Upon entering the property, you will see a large marble-tiled hallway, with ample storage for coats and boots.

Straight ahead is a wet room with sink, enclosed large shower and toilet. The wet room also opens up to the back patio with a large outdoor table and sun loungers.

Up the stairs is an open plan living & dining space. With lots of comfy sofas to recuperate from the Welsh water with a good book/film whilst still remaining connected to the kitchen & dining area.

Upstairs also holds a seperate study/playroom with a desk, which can be used to either lock the kids away or catch up on work whilst you’re on holiday.

Finally there is also an upstairs main bedroom with a king bed and en-suite.

Bay Cottage is a lovely Welsh stone cottage sleeping four, set in a quiet, secluded spot but within walking distance of the beach at Little Haven. Bay is one of ten cottages converted from traditional stone-built barns, together known as Woodlands Farm.

The space
Little Haven is a small, picturesque village, and the beach is reached in about 10 minutes via a pleasant woodland path. The woodland walk may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. The village itself is full of interest, with a cafe, a local produce and craft shop, a boat trip and hire shop, and three welcoming public houses.

At high tide, Little Haven Beach is a sheltered and relatively shallow spot for paddling or launching a Kayak or SUP to explore the small bay. When the tide is out, plenty of rock pools and a beautiful walk are revealed across the sands to Broad Haven. The coast path towards Deer Park leads to views of many isolated coves and inlets, with plenty of wildlife to spot, including baby seals in the pupping season.

Broad Haven is a larger village with a small supermarket and post office, a well-stocked surf shop, several cafes, and a good choice of eateries. The beach has lifeguards in the busier months and is popular with water sports enthusiasts with plenty to choose from; including surfing, kiteboarding, body boarding and sea kayaking.

ACCOMMODATION
Bay Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Some of the accommodation is on the ground floor, so may suit guests with restricted mobility. The property has the benefit of double-glazed windows, an LPG combi boiler and radiators in all rooms, affording instant heating, hot water and improved shower pressure. The property is ideal for all-year-round occupancy.

UPSTAIRS
Bedroom 1: twin beds in the crog loft/mezzanine with limited headroom, accessed by steep ladder-stairs. Most suited to children or young at heart adults.

Pre-arrival

Little Haven is a small harbour which is reached in approx. 10-15 minutes by a woodland walk (path goes from next to Bay Cottage). The village is situated on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and has excellent pubs (The Swan Inn ), St Brides Inn and The Castle) and a tea room (Corner House café) on the front.

The nearest sandy beach is at Little Haven and at low tide you can walk across to Broad Haven.
The nearest shop and post office is in Broad Haven and provides papers and essential provisions. Haverfordwest has numerous shops and supermarkets including a Tesco Extra, Lidl and Morrisons.

Bay Cottage is the first cottage on the right hand side as you enter the courtyard.
Please park immediately outside the property on the gravel.

Inside

The property comprises of 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. 1 double bed is located on the ground floor with good access, and there are 2 single beds in the “Crog” loft. This is accessible by ladder stairs, and therefore might not be suitable for the very young or less mobile,  children must take care on the ladder/stairs and small children must be overseen by an adult.

There is a smart TV with built in Freesat, and separate DVD player. Netflix, iPlayer etc is available on the TV though will require you to log in to your account.
Internet is via a mobile router using the O2 network which gives the best speeds currently. There is good Three reception also, though slower for data.

Outside

Out the back there is a sun room boasting views over the woods towards little haven with the sea in the distance. Here there are 2 reclining chairs and dining area for 4.

At low tide, you can walk from Broad Haven to Little Haven along the beach past The Settlands Bay. Keen walkers can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path from the village; head north to discover Newgale, Druidston Haven and Nolton Haven, all reached within 8 miles.

In the peaceful hilltop hamlet of Walton West, the property is perfectly located between two contrasting Pembrokeshire seaside gems. 7 of a mile in the other direction and you reach the wide sands of Broad Haven Beach which offers good surfing and rockpools to explore. The famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through the villages and offers stunning walks to beauty spots to the north and south. For trips further afield head to vibrant Milford Haven marina (6.4 miles), the peaceful harbour at Dale (6.5 miles), glorious Pembroke Castle (13 miles) or the historic cathedral city of St Davids (17 miles).
