This is a cosy 200 year old stone built cottage with Character! The cottage is in a tucked away location away from the road but within walking distance to local pubs and the village amenities.

The Pack of Cards is a 10 minute walk away and a further 10 minutes walk will take you to the Combe Martin Beach!

The cottage is fully equipped for an enjoyable and welcomed break including Wi- Fi, a fully equipped kitchen and the essential free private parking at the rear of the cottage for a hassle free break! In addition there is a private and pretty suntrap courtyard garden.

The village has many amenities to offer including the following: two great fish and chip shops, 5 pubs to choose from, (some with free pool) a village bakery, gift shops, several convenience stores, a post office, a library, a chemist, a lovely tea room, a deli, ice cream and rock shops, a tourist centre and a museum. And of course a fantastic beach which is great for rock pooling and numerous caves to explore. The beach is exceptionally good for kayaking and there are two very good hire shops in the village including tours and lessons.

The main bedroom has a King size Bed with some countryside views from the window. The Second Bedroom has a Trundle bed and can be used either as a single bed or two single beds or as a double. Please contact me on booking and advise how you would like the second bedroom set up.

The cottage has a modern bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and freezer and microwave oven and gas oven. There is also the added benefit of a b washing machine and there is also a Dishwasher which you might not get with other holiday cottages of a similar price!

There is a tiered courtyard Garden for al fresco dining. There are stairs to the rear and the cottage is not deemed suitable if you have mobility issues or toddlers.

One well behaved dog is accepted.

Bramble Cottage is part of a smallholding on the edge of Exmoor with views to Holdstone Down, tucked away down a lane but within easy reach of all that North Devon has to offer. Exmoor is a 5-minute drive away with stunning walks and cosy gastro-pubs such as the Pyne Arms, Hunter's Inn and the Black Venus. The Michelin starred Kentisbury Grange is just around the corner. The sweeping sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton and Puttsborough are a 15 minute drive away and there are more pebbly beaches closer such as Combe Martin, Heddons Mouth and Hele Bay.
The cottage, which has been recently renovated, has two bedrooms that sleep 4/5, a modern family bathroom, a brand new kitchen, and a large lounge diner. There is a small enclosed courtyard at the entrance of the house and there is also a large shared garden with a trampoline, BBQ facilities and various seating areas across the lane. There is parking for one car. The property has been renovated to a very high standard. It has underfloor heating throughout downstairs and a log burner in the lounge for cosy evenings in. It is set within a smallholding that has dogs, cats, Golden Guernsey goats, OSB pigs, Black Welsh mountain sheep, chickens, and a large variety of other wildlife. We are hoping for lambs and kids this year all due in the month of April and May so there will be many cuddling opportunities. You can get as hands on with the animals as you like.

Peacock Cottage is nestled on an exclusive 17 acre private rural estate near Combe Martin in north Devon. Combe Martin is a fabulous seaside resort with stunning sandy coves, some of the UK’s best rock pools and a fantastic selection of cafes, unique shops, pubs, and restaurants. The fish and chips are delicious! Combe Martin hosts many events celebrating its heritage and quirks including its annual Hunting of the Earl of Rone ceremony, a Pagan festival. The wonderful Southwest Coast Path runs through the village offering astonishing views and access to beaches and beauty spots that you may not otherwise see. You can hike to Great Hangman, the tallest sea cliff in Britain or take the two hundred and thirty steps down the Golden Cove. The beaches in this wonderful area are quite extraordinary. Wild Pear Beach and Broadsands Beach are two of the most beautiful, secret coves. Wild Pear is reached via a dramatic descent from the coast path and is an idyllic, protected cove. Broadsands Beach was recently voted the ‘Happiest View in the UK’ with its special curved bay, turquoise sea, rock caves and trees. A network of tunnels hand-carved in the early nineteenth century lead to the wonderful Tunnels Beaches with their Victorian tidal swimming pool and sand and shingle private beaches. Barricane Beach boasts exotic shells, a delightful cafe, and glorious sunsets. Lee Bay is a fabulously secluded spot looking out to the Bristol Channel. It is often called ‘Fuchsia Valley’ due to its bright red flowers. Woolacombe Beach is a three-mile-long sandy wonder that has been voted the ‘Best Beach in Britain’ and it is only twenty minutes from the resort. Putsborough Sands are on the south side of Woolacombe offering glorious surf and views of the headland. Just around the Baggy Point headland is the very pretty village of Croyde with its famous surfing beach. Backing the fabulous Saunton Sands is the impressive Braunton Burrows, a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

The pretty, historic fishing village of Clovelly is worth a stop. It was once owned by the Queen of England and clings to the four-hundred-foot cliff where there is no traffic. Steep cobbled streets tumble down to its ancient fishing harbour and 14th century quay.

The National Trust’s Arlington Court and Carriage Museum is a great day out with formal Victorian gardens, ponds, deer, plenty of space for picnics and an impressive collection of horse-drawn vehicles. It is a gem on the edge of Exmoor that has been in the Chichester family for over five hundred years. The gardens enjoy herbaceous borders, a fountain, walled kitchen garden and a conservatory brimming with exotic plants from around the world. There are pleasure grounds with gorgeous views, a wilderness pond and a deer park wood. The old kitchen tearoom is lovely and offers tasty treats. There is also an excellent second-hand bookshop. Watersmeet is a dramatic river gorge and ancient woodland with a National Trust tearoom set in stunning surroundings. You can treat yourselves to delicious Devon cream teas and be captivated by the amazing landscapes and woodland trails.

Twelve miles away, the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway opened in 1890 and is an excellent way to enjoy the wonderful coastal views between the two villages. Another popular trip is to Lundy Island which lies ten nautical miles off the coast. The ferry leaves from Ilfracombe Harbour taking you to this delightful island with its wildlife, big skies, and gorgeous scenery.

Coasteering is a popular thrilling sport with many experienced Coasteering and Adventure Sports companies operating at Watermouth Harbour, the next bay along from Combe Martin. Brave participants enjoy climbing over dramatic rocks, jumping into the sea, swimming through gullies, and exploring caves. Horse riding on Exmoor is also popular with the Dean Riding Stables.

Duror Cottage is located at Lower Aylescott in North Devon only a short drive from the beautiful award-winning Woolacombe beach. This pretty three bedroom cottage comfortably accommodates up to six and is the ideal family retreat with two onsite fishing lakes (well stocked, just bring your own rods) and a children's play area.

Inside the cottage is tastefully decorated and equipped to a good standard. On the ground floor of the property there is a spacious living room with wood-burner, TV and iPod docking station. The Cabin is a ground floor cottage in the Devon village of Combe Martin. Also inside there is a kitchen and a living dining room. To the outside sits off road parking for three cars and a rear enclosed garden with a lawn, gravel area and a decking area with furniture. The Cabin is a stunning cottage in a fantastic seaside village. Please note: This property does not accept 1 or 2 night bookings.

Town: Located on the border between Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is the picturesque settlement of Combe Martin. This little seaside resort, with a wide variety of amenities, is a great attraction for locals and visitors, and is home to a very popular beach. Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple are all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens close by, offering unique insights into local history. Woolacombe beach is close by and is an excellent place for surfing, whilst the South West coastal path passes within a mile for those who love rambling.

- "The Cabin was the most well equipped place we have ever stopped. It was clean and tidy. Generous living/dining area. Kitchen is small but fully functional with everything you need. Electric hob took abit of getting used to, but managed it. The owner left us a little care package which was very nice of them which consisted of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits and a little gift. Main bathroom had a shower cubicle. Main bedroom was very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom (bath but no shower). 2nd bedroom was big and very comfortable with 2 double beds which could be a little awkward if adults were sharing, but fine for kids. 3rd bedroom small with a bunk bed. Good for kids, but adults wouldn't fit. Nice little garden with grass for a dog. If there was one thing they could look at was some of the doors. Particularly the main bathroom, we all got locked in at some point. Chippy over the road that's open mon-sat 5-8pm. But would recommend ordering on the Friday as it gets really busy with orders so don't allow walk ins. 2 large pubs with gardens within 2 mins walk of the cabin. Neither did food when we were there, but I think one does normally, but the chef was on holiday. Both allowed dogs. Combe Martin is small and beach wasn't the best, all pebbles, no sand. Parking is very difficult. Best to walk the 15 mins to the beach. But the Cabin is ideally situated as a base for visiting Woolacombe and Ilfracombe ect. Saunton sands was a lovely beach too. Good for body boarding and dog friendly."

This delightful, detached property is a real treasure. Nearby are Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Watermouth Castle. A day trip out to Lynton and Lynmouth is also recommended. With its Victorian history and cliff railway set against the backdrop of the Countisbury Cliffs, it is a very pretty area. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country, as well as many smaller coves and bays. Exmoor is a short distance away, and on a clear day, the views can be spectacular. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, as well as RHS gardens at Rosemoor, Great Torrington. Very thoughtful touches left ready for us including a basket of logs for the fire and a hamper of goodies for our dog. Perfect location for exploring the area. We walked miles! Easter Cottage is a stone built terraced house between the pretty village of Berrynarbor and the town of Ilfracombe. There are beautiful sea views from bedrooms 1 & 3, and from the rear garden, with the Brecon Beacons / Pembrokeshire on the horizon. We have a small spa with a free standing bath in our seaward facing garden room.
In the front garden are coffee table/chairs, and in the rear garden table & chairs and summerhouse.

The space
The property is a traditional stone built cottage believed to date from the 19th century. The house has recently been modernised with new appliances, new flooring, furniture, WiFi, and upgraded central heating, together with installation of PV solar panels and pressurised hot water tank.

On the ground floor are sitting and dining rooms, kitchen, the bathroom and bedrooms are on the first floor.

At the back of the house we also have a garden room looking towards the sea, featuring our mini spa with free standing bath.

There is also a utility cupboard to the rear of the spa, with freezer and washing machine.

At the end of the rear garden is our sea view summer house.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 feature vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses, whilst the living room and dining room have exposed beams.

The kitchen is equipped with a Zanussi induction hob cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a washing machine and clothes airer in the garden room (accessed via the rear garden) which also has space for storage of surfboards, wetsuits, bicycles, etc.

The bathroom features generous newly installed shower; electric towel rail.

Travel cot and stair gates are available if required.

Accessibility : Ground floor access and movement is step free. There is one step up to the rear garden lawn. All bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed via the stairs.

Bedroom 1 the master bedroom is double aspect with rural inland views to the south over farm and pastureland and sea views to the rear. It is furnished with a Superking bed, wardrobe, and dressing table;

Jasmine cottage forms part of a courtyard of 9 holiday cottages, converted from original farm buildings. It is set in large grounds, with games room, tennis court and grassy areas to walk your dog on lead. At certain times of year there is an enclosed grass paddock to walk dogs off lead but this cannot be guaranteed, as it is occasionally used for grazing horses. The cottage is a short drive to the beautiful Woolacombe Beach and the harbour town of Ilfracombe.

The space
There's no escaping the fact that Jasmine Cottage is quite compact, but then we firmly believe that size isn't everything. Perfect for a couple or a family with one or 2 young children, the cottage offers all you need for a cosy relaxing stay.

In the bedroom, a top quality kingsize mattress and 400 thread Egyptian cotton bedding ensures a comfortable night's sleep, and the chaise longue, a great place to relax with a book, can be converted into a single bed for the smallest member of the family. We do not provide cots or highchairs as we would not be able to ensure that they met all health and safety requirements, so you would need to bring your own.

In the bathroom there is a bath with shower over, so you can relax your aching muscles after a long walk or a day in the surf.

The lounge has a table and chairs for cosy mealtimes and a sofa, comfy chair and footstool for relaxing in front of the 40 inch smart TV.

The fully equipped kitchen has a hob, grill, oven, microwave and coffee machine (pods provided) and a fridge with a freezer box.

The cottage is situated approximately 1 mile from the beautiful village of West Down, which has a pub and convenience store. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail are within easy reach and the fabulous award winning, 3 mile long, dog friendly Woolacombe Beach (yes it's our favourite place!) is only 6 miles away. A 20 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Exmoor, with stunning walks and delicious pub lunches.

Jasmine Cottage is very dog friendly. We provide mats, dog bowls, throws for the sofa and of course a few treats for your four legged friend. Our only request is that you don't allow them on the bed.

All grounds are communal. There are plenty of outside seating and eating areas in the gardens and paddocks surrounding the cottage. Please note that the games room is not dog friendly. If your pet can be left safely in the cottage while you use the games room (preferably crated), we are happy for this to happen as long as they will settle and not disturb other guests.

It has a balcony with 2 chairs, an enclosed large courtyard space with table and chairs, 2 deck chairs, BBQ, parasol and space to store surfboards/kayaks/bikes if needed ( please bring locks).

The guests share the main entrance gates into the property.

This property is not suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues due to the following:
steps with no handrail.
Does not have a wide access into house.
Bed is against the wall and can only be accessed and vacated from one side.
There is a short uphill walk approaching the main property on the last part of the lane.

Poppy's Barn is a charming renovated barn perfect for couples looking for a romantic escape to North Devon. The 1 bedroom modern barn conversion has been finished to a high standard making it the perfect base to take in the beautiful scenery surrounding the cottage.

The space
The spacious first floor on Poppy’s Barn has a modern kitchen with ample space, well equipped with an electric oven with hob, a fridge, a dishwasher and a washing machine. In the middle of the room in front of the stairs you can sit at the table and enjoy your home cooked meals as the light floods the room from the stunning bay window. The comfortable living area has a 2 seater sofa facing the wall mounted TV, the Velux windows to the front of the property open up enabling guests to look out across the countryside from your private fold out balcony.

The ground floor bedroom is spacious and contemporary with a large double bed which can be made into single bedrooms upon requests. Two bedside tables either side of the bed hold lamps on top and drawers for additional storage. The bedroom also has a built-in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a wall-mounted TV. The en-suite bathroom, accessible from the sliding doors, has a walk in shower, w/c and wash basin.

To the rear of the cottage is a paved patio area that is fully fenced to give it a feel of privacy. On the patio is a dining table and two chairs, as well as a charcoal BBQ.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole of Poppys Barn. Shared facilities include parking, 3.5 acres of grounds, play area consisting of: outdoor table tennis, children’s play area, swing balls, football pitch.

We are set just out side of Combe Martin, the nearest village, with Exmoor National Park's border to the east and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) to the west. A very stunning place to those who enjoy be close to the nature.

Yetland Farm is perfect for small family holiday, where everyone is very welcome. A quiet place situated in the middle of the countryside where you can enjoy calm and silent nights of sleep after a busy day.

The space
The cottage provide a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, kettle and toaster, wash machine, eletric oven and cooker and a fridge. Also a private bathroom with bath and shower. A living room with comfortable sofa, electric fire, satellite flat-screen smart TV. And a dinning area with table and chairs.

Out side of our cottages you will have access to a shared courtyard with a seating area and barbecue, play room, tennis squad, pool table room with tv and wi-fi, and one big field where the guests can freely use as prefer.

Yetland Farm Holiday Cottages is centrally located, a short drive away of loads of tourist attractions and most beautiful beaches in the North Devon region.

The best way to know around is having you own vehicle or even cycling if this is what you enjoy to do.
Taxi is another way to go if wanna enjoy have a drink.

If you have no problems to walk the nearest village is Combe Martin, located 1.5 miles from us.
The next nearby town is Ilfracombe (approximately 7 miles away). With more infrastructure and bigger shopping's.
A little farther, 9 miles away is located the city of Barnstaple, the main town on North Devon.

*We provide a courtesy car park to ours guests.

Other things to note
-We are almost always around, so please anything you need just look for us. If we not out side doing some work you can find us ate the big blue house (just out side of the cottages yard.

-Very sadly we like to inform that due the old age of our buildings (old cow barns converted on the 70's) we are not able to catering for people with mobility needs.

-Guests are not allowed to smoke in side of the cottage and indoors spaces.
-In respect to the others guests is not allowed visitors in the cottages and any others areas of Yetland.

-Limited number of dogs are accepted so in order to avoid constraint please requests us before booking informing how many dogs and they respective sizes. We ask for please read the additional house rules about dog on the property.

Seaweed offers fantastic accommodation in the heart of Combe Martin, a delightful coastal village on the North Devon coast. Sleeping 6 guests in three bedrooms (and up to 2 dogs*), this self catering property has been recently renovated and thoughtfully renovated to offer guests a comfortable stay, within easy walking distance of both the beach and the village's amenities.

The space
Seaweed has parking immediately at the front of the house, you enter this nautically themed house from the conservatory, where you'll find a bench and space for hanging coats and storing walking boots. A large open plan living space boasts a comfy lounge area with two double sofas, an armchair, TV with freeview and a wood-burning stove. The dining table comfortably seats six, whilst the kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. Appliances include electric oven with hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.

There is also a ground floor bedroom, with a standard double bed and is located next to the downstairs bathroom (fitted with a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC). The final two bedrooms are located on the first floor, and include a second double bedroom with a standard double bed, and finally a large double size room, where guests can choose from either a super king-sized bed or two single beds, depending on their requirements (please request at time of booking). There is also a first floor bathroom with a bath and shower overhead, wash basin and WC.

Outside, guests can also enter Seaweed via the rear patio, ideal for those returning from a day on the beach or a muddy walk, as there is a handy outside tap, as well as a purpose built wet-suit hanger. From Easter 2021, guests can use a lockable storage facility, ideal for bikes, kayaks or surfboards.

Two dogs are welcome at Seaweed. Please note: there is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Guests must notify us at time of booking, and payment must be received prior to arrival.

Other things to note
Please note that the cottage is accessed via a number of steps - a real positive when it comes to the breath-taking valley views, however it also means that this accommodation is not suitable for anyone with relevant mobility issues. We will be happy to help bring up any luggage if need be - please just ask.

Light and airy upside down 1 bedroom barn conversion with parking and private seating area, on a 3 acre site, previously a working farm dating back to the 1700’s, but now only home to the owners and a couple of Shetland ponies. Located in a picturesque, peaceful, quaint and quiet village just 1 mile from the north Devon coast. Located ideally for a quiet and relaxing break, but conveniently for Combe Martin, a short drive to the seaside town of Ilfracombe and within easy reach of Exmoor.

Quiet rural village location, but in walking distance to the local pubs, village shop and the north Devon costal path.
There are 3 other holiday cottages, in close proximity, on the 3 acre site. Ideal for extended families, wanting to holiday together, but wanting their own personal space!
