- "Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

- "We had a lovely stay. All rooms had ensuites which was what we were looking for. Beautiful garden to enjoy the sunny weekend we had. Kitchen has everything we needed. " - "This is a lovely house for a family / friends gathering. The beds are big and comfortable, in winter (we had snow!) it was warm, plenty of hot water and a very well equipped kitchen. The garden would be lovely in summer. It's a short walk into Bourton on the Water and there's plenty of car park space on the drive.Very slight downside - we all found the sofas uncomfortable - too big and squishy!"

- "1st time in the Cotswolds for us and it didn’t disappoint. What a beautiful place. Rainbow barns was no exception a home from home accommodating 2 adults one 14yr old and our border collie. I was worried about talking the dog but I needn’t have been. There was toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, a scourer, tea towel. Some tea coffee sugar (that I think was left over from previous guest) provided. Ample space in the undercounted Intergrated fridge with a top box freezing compartment. Powerful shower in bath. Clean fresh bedding and towels provided. Lovely 10 minute walk into bourton on the water via a public footpath down the side of the property. Steep hill back up on last part but doable and helps walk the cakes consumed in the village. There’s a co-op 5 min drive away if you do need anything. Happy holidays The Jackson’s"
