The Japanese style rooms were also very spacious. Our package was half board, so we had the buffet dinner and buffet breakfast. - "It seems like a hotel that also catered for long stays for temporary workers? E.g. ski instructors etc? There were some rooms with kitchen facilities for everyone to use at each level. The only issue we faced was the water from the bathroom was chalky (the one in the toilet and communal facilities were clear). We were not sure if its safe for consumption and the front desk could only advise us to let the water run for some time. Eventually, as we were with a 2.5 year old kid, we simply relied on bottled water. But other than that, he hotel and room condition are good. And it felt homely in the very cold condition when we were in Niseko. The breakfast at the hotel, for 2700 yen is also good. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was not bad too. We could not get a larger room, if there are."

From New Chitose International Airport to the resort area you have three main transfer options; train, bus, private transfer;


Train:

The New Chitose International Airport train station is located on the ground floor of New Chitose International Airport. Guests should take the train as far as KUTCHAN station, guests should NOT exit at the HIRAFU nor NISEKO stations. Guests need to transfer at Otaru station in order to board the final leg of their journey to KUTCHAN station. On arrival at KUTCHAN station, taxis are usually available near the front exit. Travel time from New Chitose International Airport to KUTCHAN Station: 3hrs

Bus:

There are buses from New Chitose International Airport to the Hirafu Welcome Centre:
Travel time: 2-3hrs
