Easy walk to the beach, loved the bar poolside with the music. Our stay was short so they gave us a Spa day pass for Sunday so we were able to use the health club to rinse off from being on the beach all day before we went home. That was nice. The only thing that they could do is pay a little bit more attention to the outdoor pool. There was a lot of suntan lotion floating on top of the water which looked gross so we did not get in. View was great, we saw dolphins swimming in the morning almost every morning right from our balcony. We ate at the hotel cafe (the view) the first night, even though they were closing they still sat and served us. The waitress was so friendly, made conversation with my kids etc and the food was good despite it being so late. The beach, boardwalk, and certain popular attractions were just a few minutes walk away. My two complaints are that the hotel seems to be in an area that floods nightly with the high tide, making the parking lot difficult to get to without driving through pretty deep water. The other complaint was our bathroom door. It was stuck open, necessitating the maintenance staff completely taking it off the tracks to fix it. After they fixed it the door was difficult at times to open and close and would occasionally make a squealing noise. We weren’t in the room much except to sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. "

- "We switched to the Monte-Carlo last minute due to an issue at another hotel and I cannot emphasize how pleased we were with our stay. Parking is unique - don't get me wrong but specifically this time of year - there were multiple open spots around the hotel that did not require premier parking or a long walk. We did premier parking because I'm on crutches and while a tad pricey it was worth it. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only suggestion I can give is to have the indoor units serviced - ours was a bit loud when it turned on but it quieted down. Beds were more than comfortable, fridge was very cold and the service was SO NICE. Shoutout to the front desk agent who survived a cheerleading weekend in OC - she couldn't have been more helpful and informative. Indoor pool a tad small but for what we needed, it was great! Overall a very positive stay and will pick this hotel again when we return. Thanks Monte Carlo!"
