- "This is a hidden gem of a hotel. The hotel itself is lovely and our bungalow had 2 distinct bedrooms as advertised (not always the case with hotels), a lounge and outside seating area and dining table. As it was at the other end of the complex through the impressive plant nursery, we were provided with our own golf buggy to travel around the hotel grounds, which was an added bonus. The accommodation had its own private plunge pool to complement the hotel pool and the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the fantastic looking menu at the hotel restaurant, as it too nice for young children but we did have lunch at the pool bar and utilised the room service menu, all of which were great. Breakfast is extensive and served in a beautiful garden. We would have loved to have longer at the hotel. Great views of Etna and there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Located conveniently just 40 mins from Catania airport, we would definitely go back. A real find."

- "The hotel is lovely. The staff are very pleasant and almost all had a good command of English. The food in the restaurant was very good. If you are going there on business you will not be disappointed. However, we went there on holiday and I would not recommend this location to holiday makers, although I take nothing away from the hotel itself, which I give 5/5. The neighbourhood is run down, strewn with litter and we would not have felt very safe out of doors at night. Also the traffic to get here is nerve wracking, even for an experienced driver with the latest sat nav.It is also not well located for the tourist attractions, and of course you have to negotiate the traffic again to get out. However, after our days out we would walk 100 yards to the left of the hotel to Bulla's bar, where we sat outside on the pavement and enjoyed a couple of fine local beers and were made to feel very welcome by the owner."
