The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Welcome to Panorama! We named our lakefront house panorama because back in the 1930s when the lots were first created they named ours “Panorama” for the panoramic views it has of Coventry Lake! Not to mention the house is located directly in front of the sandbar, so you are always right in the middle of all the action!

When you walk in the kitchen will greet you with vaulted ceilings and wood beams. The kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops, tile backsplash, and plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware.

The kitchen then opens up to the main living space with two large sliding glass doors looking out to the lake. The couch pulls out to a queen size bed and both loveseats pull out to a twin size bed. We have sheets for these extra beds but please bring blankets and pillows if you plan to use them! There is also an electric fireplace in the living room for those cozy winter days!

A dinning area is nestled in the corner with a circle table large enough to fit 6.

The downstairs bedroom has a twin trundle bed as well as a tv. The upstairs bedroom has a queen sized bed and lake views.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with a large sliding glass door that leads you out to the upper deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail with a panoramic birds eye view of Coventry Lake! Please note there is a window with shutters in the master bedroom that can be unlatched and opened to the vaulted ceiling in the kitchen. Please do not leave unattended young children in this room.

The double sliding glass doors in the living room lead you out to the lower deck, which also provides expansive views of the lake. We have a farmhouse table as well as a high top table and chairs on the lower deck so you will never be without a seat! New outdoor TV on lower deck. The deck leads you to the level grass area where you can play yard games or lay out on one of our loungers.

There are stairs at the sea wall that lead down to our 45 foot long private sandy beach! We have a deck box with sand toys, some beach chairs, floats etc. there is also another table with chairs on our beach as well as a fire pit.

For water toys we have a canoe, paddle board and 2 hydro-bikes for guest use as well as a floating raft to jump off of!

Private parking lot that fits 4 cars comfortably.

10 minutes from UConn. 30 minutes from Hartford, Ct. In between Boston and New York City.

Boating Adventures
Feel free to use our kayaks and paddle boat, but please treat them with care. You break it, you buy it! Always wear a life jacket while on the water (hanging underneath deck). No diving into the water, please! It’s not as deep as you think!

Please Note: Per the Lake Association Bylaws, outside boats, kayaks, or canoes are not permitted on the lake. You are welcome to use the kayaks and canoe provided at the property, but bringing your own is strictly prohibited.

Respect Our Property
Please take care of everything in the house. If something gets damaged, we’ll have to charge for repairs or replacements.

Woodstove = Hands Off
Wood Stoves: For safety reasons, wood stoves are not for guest use. Due to Insurance regulations, we can not allow outdoor fires either.

Quiet Hours: 9 PM Sharp
Quiet time starts at 9 PM due to town ordinance. Let’s be mindful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially with music.

Late Checkout Fees
Check-out is at 11 AM. If you need more time, please let us know in advance. A $50 fee will be charged for every half-hour late past checkout, as our cleaning crew needs to prepare for the next guests arriving at 3 PM.

Surrounded by rolling hills & dairy farms, this spacious & and bright apartment is the perfect place for a weekend retreat. The apartment is in a detached garage on our property and it shares a driveway with the main house. The barn itself is 3 levels in total and the apartment is on the top floor. There is one set of stairs to navigate to enjoy the apartment (approximately 15 stairs). It is a large, studio apartment with a living area and dining area, small kitchenette, bathroom with standing shower, and furthest area has a built-in twin bed and built-in double bed, along with a large dresser and desk. The apartment does not have a separate bedroom, it's all one open space. However, we do have blackout curtains that can close and serve as a partition between the living and sleeping areas.

Have a boat launcher at the boat launch bring it on over you have your own beach large deck on June 29. You have a front row seat to the greatest firework show on Coventry Lake. Very private area thousand feet off the road you’re right on the water very comfy house everyone that comes so they don’t wanna leave.

Experience peaceful and beautiful Woodstock at its best on this gorgeous and quiet lake! No motor boats or water skis buzzing incessantly. Just the pristine lake out the back door and hiking trails out the front door almost directly across the street! Enjoy the kayak, paddle boat, and canoe in the warmer months and watching the beautiful ever-changing landscape that is the water/ice in the winter. Great spot for fishing off the cement pier, swimming, hiking and lazing about on the large deck overlooking the water. Jump off the floating dock in warmer weather. Have a fire in our fire pit! Enjoy the moon or stars and westerly sunset view. The main suite looks out over the lake. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a large window view of the water. The guest bedroom has a day bed that pulls out to two twin beds directly side by side. There is a full kitchen complete with a dishwasher, large sink, stove, oven, toaster oven, regular drip coffee machine, microwave and full fridge. A counter/table with very comfy chairs is a great place for eating and hanging out. A dedicated work space in the main room has a large wood table and comfortable chair. WI-Fi and Smart TV are provided. Full bath with tub and shower.

- "Check in was straightforward and easy. Nikki very generously offered dry goods and food from the pantry and fridge. The view was magnificent from the master bedroom and living room and her couch was so comfy that I actually slept on it one night. Walking the property and taking a dip in the water recharged my batteries for my upcoming final exams at University. It was quiet enough during my stay to admire the singing of various birds. I played music and did yoga from her TV while gazing at the water. The peace and serenity derived from doing so was cathartic. Without getting too personal in the details, I was able to meditate and spiritually heal from troubles in my past by simply admiring the view and her gorgeous landscape painting in the living room. I’m so blessed to have been Nikki’s guest and the value that I received from my trip at her property is immeasurable."

Our barn is in a large field on lot next to our home. Our rental area is upstairs which offers beautiful views of our field and the visiting deer. The eclectic decor is accumulated from years of activism. Our guest room and bathroom are newly renovated. It is a quiet and peaceful area near two state parks. We operate a mail order business in the downstairs area but will not be working while guests are staying with us.

The space

Our place is run on solar and we are working our way to being a net zero home and barn. We have two charging stations if you need them. This is a great rental to share if you are going to a wedding or other event nearby. We are close to UCONN, small New England villages, state parks, wineries, antique shopping, and about an hour from Providence and Hartford and an hour and a half from Boston.

Music Studio 307 is a professional recording/rehearsal studio located in an artist community in Stafford, CT. Our clients enjoy our very artsy and laid back atmosphere. We are within walking distance to many boutique stores, a beautiful park, a concert venue, a Yoga studio and plenty of restaurants. We are a 20 minute drive to The Brimfield Antique Show and a perfect middle point between Boston and NYC.

- "From the start, Sighly was an amazing communicator as we messaged to make sure this would be a good fit. The house is thoughtfully restored, with modern amenities (kitchen is updated, AC is cold) but a classic New England feel. The original wooden floors give a familiar (at least for me) creak that gives it the old school charm, and they picked out some great, comfy chairs to relax and read a book in There's a church, library, and farm stand within walking distance - the farm stand is seriously worth a visit, the milk, ice cream, and beef we're all the best we've had. The neighbors are friendly, and the area is quiet.We were in the area to see family, but enjoyed some of Sighly 's recommendations and some we found in our own (The Vanilla Bean Cafe and Black Dog Bar and Grill were favorites, and we enjoyed take out from the Thai Basil while the kids had pizza from Woodstock Pizza & Grill). Downtown Putnam was worth a visit, and even the kids found some treasures in the antique shops, as well as visiting the nearby game shop. Well worth a visit!"

This 3-room one-story apartment with private entrance is attached to the main 1850 farmhouse and also has that older farm charm. Only 10 minutes to Interstate 84 and midway between New York City and Boston, this location allows for ease of access to experiences in the northeast. The property is set back from the state road (Route 89) and allows for relaxed living on a beautiful farm bordered by stone walls and wooded area behind.

The space
The three rooms are a kitchen with an attached bathroom, living room, and bedroom (with queen Sleep Number bed and a nice roll out folding bed set up as asked). The kitchen is fairly well stocked for the ability to cook meals. The living room was the first library (c.1885) in Ashford and the bedroom was added on in the 1960's so has its unique charm.

Plenty of backyard grass area to enjoy and the llamas are in fenced areas or paddocks for you to watch. Only restriction is to not go into any gate or barn door.

Guests have total access to the separate apartment space with separate entrances.

Free parking is available for 2 cars. Feel free to unload by in driveway and then park between house and barn where the Guest Parking Sign is located. (See the photos). If you need more space for parking a trailer or such, contact me so we can make sure to accommodate you.

Other things to note
This is a rural area and it is not unusual to hear or see birds, fox, coyotes and see rabbits and woodchucks. This is also a farm so there are potentially insects. We use multiple methods to keep the farm and the apartment safe and clean. Our pets never go in the apartment and the animal paddocks are kept clean.

Quiet country setting, minutes from UCONN and easy access from RTE 84 makes this place perfect for visitors traveling through the "Quiet Corner" of CT. Many of our guests choose our place for romantic getaways, anniversaries and "baby-moons!" Or, if life is hectic and relaxation is in order, this is the perfect place to unwind. Other guests come to visit UCONN or Sturbridge Village.

The front porch is a pleasant place to sit with your first cup of coffee in the morning. The view is of the gardens and yard. It is quiet and private.

Other things to note
The apartment is on the second floor. There is a flight of stairs that must be navigated.
Although our address is 523 Zaicek Rd., we are on the corner of Zaicek and Chatey Rd; the driveway is on Chatey.

Comfortable home in quiet neighborhood close to UConn, Eastern CT University, and more. Enjoy walking around the community, relaxing in the small fenced in yard, or looking out into the woods on the deck. Hang out in the living room enjoying a movie or use the fully equipped kitchen to cook a delicious meal.

The house is located in a quiet, family community. House parties and loud music are not allowed and guests violating this will be asked to leave immediately.

The space
Our home has a fully equipped kitchen that is perfect for heating up takeout or cooking in and kitchen table with seating for 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig machine, toaster, blender, crock pot, pots, pans and everything that you need to prepare a meal if you desire. The living room has a comfortable sofa with wall mounted TV for watching your favorite shows. The TV is connected to streaming channels and our wifi which works throughout the house. Should you need to work while enjoying your vacation, there is a fold down desk in the dining area.

We request that all guests respect the quiet tranquility of the neighborhood and we prohibit loud music and both indoor and outdoor parties.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house or anywhere on the property under any circumstances.

All guests are required to accurately disclose at the time of your reservation how many guests will be staying on the property. We will request payment (or ask for you to leave the property) for undisclosed guests if the number provided at the time of reservation is not accurate. Should it change between when your reservation is made and when you are staying, please let us know in advance.

Guests will have access to the entire lake house with the only exceptions being the crawlspace and a locked supply cabinet in the kitchen. These areas are for owners' use only.

Nature abounds! The Ashford area is surrounded by many great natural attractions like hiking, waterfalls, state and community parks. Feel like wine tasting? Several notable vineyards on the Connecticut wine trail are within 15-20 minutes of the cottage and are sure to provide enjoyable daytime excursions for you and your guests. Guests love the rural experience of staying at our cottage as it provides an unparalleled opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the chaotic world.

Travel Tip- Guests may find it most convenient to stock up on their preferred groceries in the towns of Tolland, Putnam or Willimantic Connecticut (depending on direction of arrival) prior to arrival.
