The lounge restaurant was closed for a high school reunion so that was back luck for me. On the positive the bed was probably the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in. Over all it was a nice stay and would defiantly go back again"

Our lodge was right above a creek. We woke up in the mornings and drank our coffee on the deck standing above it. Local restaurants and bars are very close to the lodge in case you want to walk. There are many redwoods on the property and around the lodges, and the creek is accessible if you want to get in the water. I recommend this place to those that prefer lodge camping or hotel accommodations."

This estate has a rich past—originally a private hunting lodge in the 1950's and ’60's, it’s now being made available to the public for the very first time. We’re currently collaborating with the San Lorenzo Valley Museum to document more of its hidden history.

For the last 40 years, it’s been home to former executives from Apple, Oracle, HP, Adobe, Nvidia, and Motorola. The home has been thoughtfully remodeled to the highest standards, while preserving its original charm, including the wood-look natural gas fireplace in the main lodge.

Three flights of stairs assure a gorgeous view, but they also might be difficult for those with any mobility issues. But once you reach the welcoming front porch, you'll have a perfect outdoor spot for reading a book or sipping morning coffee.

We loved the easy access to Loch Loman recreation area. The deck was well appointed and provided easy outside dining. The only real downsides were the driveway and the steps. Most everything inside this wonderful home has been updated including new hardwood floors, kitchen tiles, blinds, and more. Prepare all your favorite dishes in the well-equipped, full kitchen complete with a suite of stainless steel appliances to make meal prep a breeze! Dine together or play board games at the nearby dining table, and then relax in the main living area where you can enjoy forest views through multiple windows while you stream all your favorite TV channels using your own accounts.

Outdoors, dine or just relax and watch native birds in the trees from the privacy of your furnished deck or patio. You'll also find a gas grill here if you want to fire it up for a family cookout!

- "Came to visit family and had plenty of room to sit and have a meal, enjoy the deck. Beautiful area, house has everything you need if you decide to eat in. This place was comfortable and had so many extras - we loved it and hope to come back!"

The cottage is tucked away in silence interrupted only by the faint sound of the distant ocean. Sits 5 minutes from Bean Hollow Beach and many others minutes away between Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz. This cottage is safe and private with beautiful outdoor living.

La Casita is a small, heated comfortable space with a sleeping loft and a queen size mattress. NO BATHROOM IN LA CASITA. Bathroom in main house.
A ladder leads to the loft and one has to be limber to access the loft. Futon sofa in living space turns into a full size bed. Access to main house guest half bath. The hot shower is outdoors next to Casita.

- While this home doesn’t have outdoor space for guest use, beautiful natural spots are just a short drive away, ready for you to explore!
- We have landscapers, pest service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.

- "Our night and morning in the woods of Felton (in the Santa Cruz mountains) were entirely comfortable and beautiful. A cozy and clean cottage, adjoining a larger home, with trees all around and a small view of the Monterey Bay - very beautiful and the perfect escape ! The drive in (through the Cowell redwoods) was really gorgeous, and the town of Felton itself was charming, with a number of restaurant choices. And breakfast on the coast in Davenport was ideal - sunny, while Santa Cruz was still fog-bound. The cottage has a well-stocked kitchen, and we almost chose to cook dinner at home; but we enjoyed lounging in the cottage's cool, fragrant evening air after our restaurant dinner instead. Marvelous bed, comfortable Adirondack chairs, GREAT towels - a wonderful spot to relax !"

- "Enjoyed the secluded and beautiful views this unique property has to share. You can watch the sunrise from any part of the house as well as the sunset. Views reach all the way out to the Monterey bay and surrounding areas. The hot tub is also a nice way to wind down and enjoy the stars at night. The house itself is very cozy, layed out and has all the amenities you need to make yourself at home. The small cul de sac is very quiet and easy to find of the main road. Wanted a feature friendly but private getaway for our wedding anniversary and Rebecca was extremely easy to work with, even went so far as to arrange champagne and flowers when we arrived! Everything was better than expected and had zero issues at all. Would very much recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing and quiet place to get away from it all but still close enough to go into town."
