Relaxing retreat on 16 acres of woods yet minutes from shopping, restaurants, Lake Monroe and the I.U. stadium. A quiet place to wind down.
The studio is in the woods so you may see or encounter wildlife including deer, opossums, raccoons, coyote, bobcat, snakes and birds as well as bugs. We use pest control on a regular basis but that does not guarantee no pests or bugs will not be visible.

Guests have access to a grill, fire pit and hammock. WiFi is available for your devices. CD player and record player/records are provided. No cable or television. Cell phone service is available if occasionally spotty. There is a security camera on our main residence. It does record but is not monitored 24/7. You will see the camera if you walk up to our main residence.

Owner does live on the property in a separate residence. I give my guests privacy but if complete seclusion is what you are looking for my place probably isn't for you.

There is a long driveway back to the studio so in the winter months all wheel or four wheel drive is recommended. I keep the driveway plowed but if a snow storm cones through it may take a bit to get a snow plow out to me for service.

I’ll admit that this property was especially meaningful for me and my husband, as Scholar’s Inn was our favorite restaurant when we were students at IU, but that was really the least of it. We had to shift our booking dates up front and wound up needing to stay an extra day on the back end due to a flat tire.Kerry made it all happen with no fuss. Great place to stay in Bloomington, in the heart of Indiana University's athletics area! We have just the spot for you. Located 2 blocks west of IU Memorial Stadium on East 17th, our place is an easy walk to all the athletics and graduation events, and very convenient for any other trip to IU and the Bloomington area! You can see the stadium area from the bedroom window, roughly, well, 3 football field lengths away!

Parking? You bet. Despite being right by all the action, you have parking for at least 1 car right behind the unit, not blocks away.. right there!

This 1 bedroom has a queen bed, but what's more? Its not just a one bedroom. Its a 1 bedroom apartment with its own separate living room area, and a separate kitchenette area with a full set of cabinets, a FULL refrigerator, and a convection microwave. Oh, and coffee? Of course... both a Kuerig and a drip coffee maker for whatever your high octane (or decaf) desires may be! Kitchen table with 4 chairs if you invite a few friends.

This apartment is on two levels, with the full bath and the living room on the ground floor. The living room has a couch, some bonus chairs and a small table and additional chairs. Up the stairs... and the kitchen, bedroom, and a half bath are on the top floor.

Outside the front door is a small concrete patio area at the entry. We do not provide furniture outside since it is off 17th street--lots of foot traffic--however, we provide a nice small table and 2 chairs in the living room that you can migrate outside for chilling (and people watching). Just bring them back inside please so they don't wander off! :-)

Because this is in the heart of the athletics area, you can expect to be in the middle of all the football, graduation, basketball, soccer, and other action along 17th street. Want to be in the middle of it all, with easy, nearly unparalleled access, this is the one! Want to be isolated, off the beaten path, no one around (and a drive to the action)? Perhaps look elsewhere. :-)

Be ready for, and a short walk from, all the IU action next time you stay in Bloomington! Car? Totally private, newly renovated 1200 sq ft self-enclosed ground-level home with separate entrance, hardwood floors, quartz kitchen countertop, and top-of-the-line appliances. No stairs. 2 acres of paradise only steps from the IU football stadium, other sports arenas, Assembly Hall, Griffy Lake, and the IU golf course. IU professor lives on the main floor of the house upstairs. There is no shared space. We will be as quiet as possible upstairs so as not to disturb you. We hope you do the same for us. Live out your glamping dreams just a short distance from Cartop SRA on Lake Monroe. Brink your kayak(s) and launch "just around the corner". Cartop is a favorite for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and just hanging out at the lake. Walk to Cartop from the campsite in about 10 minutes, or there is plenty of parking if you prefer to take a 2 minute drive.

Have a motorized boat? Our lot also has an out of the way parking area that will accommodate most trailered boats. Just be aware you will have to back into this space, it is not a pull-through.

The RV includes a queen bed separated by a privacy curtain, a dinette that can convert into a full bed, and a loft that is also a full size sleeping area. A/C, furnace, refrig / freezer, microwave, stove and oven, bathroom with step in shower make this GLAMPING and not just camping.

This private lot backs up to DNR forest and is 3/10 of an acre.

We are pet friendly ... as long as the pets are friendly :-) Need a fenced area for y our dog to run off some energy? Ask about our fenced yard. Please note, we will ask for proof of vaccinations as this yard is our dog's domain and they insist on their visitors being vaccinated.

Located just 20 minutes to downtown Bloomington Indiana, 10 minutes to a grocery store and 10 minutes to three boat launches - Cutright, Paynetown & Moores Creek.

If you have your own RV, we can move ours and you can hook up yours. 30 amp service, water for your fresh water tank (not a full time city hook up) and septic dump available (extra $).

I've looked at RVShare, and other means of renting an RV to try it out, but this is absolutely perfect. You can experience what it might be like to have a fully stocked RV. There are lots of games and things to do for outside, as well, as board games and TV to spend time inside if you get rained out (we didn't, but it was great to see what you'd do with your time). Only a 10 to 15 minute drive from IU campus or IU Stadium, our place is a recently remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, half of a duplex (left side). Located in a country neighborhood setting, this home is minutes away from the mall, restaurants, and downtown. It is also close to Lake Monroe, Lake Lemon, Griffy Lake and Brown County for those nature lovers.

With a comfortable great room, you can lounge on the couch or sit and the counter-height breakfast bar and visit with anyone in the kitchen. This is not a big home, but is laid out well and will easily sleep as many as 7.

The master bedroom contains a queen size bedroom suite. The 2nd bedroom has a set of twin size bunk-beds and an individual twin size bed. The couch in the living area has a trundle/pull-out turning it into a queen size bed.

The kitchen has recently been fully remodeled and has stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. It is fully functional with blender, drip & k-cup coffee maker, pans, skillets, baking sheets, and cooking utensils. There are also dishes, glasses, and silverware available to use during your stay.

Cook a meal in the kitchen, watch the Fire TV (subscriptions not provided), or use the washer and dryer to do your laundry.

You will have access to the entire house and the shared back yard. There is space to park 2 cars in the driveway

This basement studio apartment is located in a Historical limestone house. There is a fully furnished kitchen for eating-in or its only a quick walk to downtown restaurants. Quick 5 minute drive to Sample Gates and 7 minute drive to Memorial Stadium on IU Campus. Bloomington's B-line walking trail one block away!

The unit itself is very modest, but it was perfect for me visiting my kids at IU and not spending a ton of time in the room. For a small space, the kitchen is large if that's a consideration. You are below ground so it's dark and the steps down to the unit are pretty steep. The ceiling are very low. When it's just me swinging out to IU for a quick visit, this is a perfect little spot. "

This delightful 8x8 studio shack with lots of window space contains a simple plywood counter, a chair and a fold-up loft bed. It sits in the back yard enclosed by a privacy fence. The bath and common areas are accessed in the main house through a back door. This is for someone who wants economical solitude with a 15-minute walk to downtown and two minutes to a city bus point. Because of shared spaces, during the school year male guests only are accepted. Thank you for your understanding.

#1 bedroom has a queen bed, with sheets & extra pillows, as well as a little table/chair, dresser drawers, window seat/room darkening curtains, white noise machine, box fan (and ceiling fan), mirror on inside closet door, small tabletop ironing board - please ask in advance for use of our iron.

In between the 2 bedrooms, is a full size bathroom - 2 vanity sinks, toliet & tub/shower room can be closed off from the vanity area, if desired. Soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, TP provided.

#2 bedroom has a double/full bed, with sheets & extra pillows, as well as a dresser/drawers, light darkening curtains on windows and a chair, (ceiling fan), box fan on request.

+I only book 1 group at a time, so whoever books, does not share the bathroom with anyone else. If only 1 bedroom is needed, the 2nd is not booked by another Air BNB guest. 1 guest booking at a time.

The house design reflects a neighborhood-specific history of one-room rentals to college students. A privacy fence encloses a spacious yard with picnic table and fire pit, a bike shelter is available and you can take pleasure in the raised-bed front garden. All of this within a 15 minute walk to downtown and two minutes to a city bus point. Due to shared spaces, during the school year male guests only are accepted. Thank you for your understanding.

Experienced Airbnb superhosts listing a very small, lovely handcrafted loft with private entrance and bath that is perfect for a visiting scholar. It is only for one person and is very small. You must be fit and not afraid of heights in order to book this room.

The space
Possibly the only loft bedroom in the Bloomington area, this cozy space is perfect for one guest. A sturdy hand-made wooden ladder leads you to a one-person loft with an octagonal window looking out to our spacious back yard and garden area. Although the space is small, it feels open and bright. Please note that the sleeping area is narrower and shorter than a twin bed so if you need more space, do not rent this space.

Guest access
This lovely, hand-crafted loft is not for the faint in heart. Although it is bright and will meet all your needs, it is small and does not have standing room in the loft portion. The loft is 6'6" high with a steep (but sturdy) handmade ladder for access. The mattress consists of two locally hand-crafted futons and a memory foam mattress pad which has been tested and used by many guests, all of whom give it high marks. If you have health issues that would make it difficult to climb and accommodate yourself in the loft as described, please do not book this room.

Guests will have a private bathroom - with beautiful marble and glass walls. A shower with an optional hand-held shower head, and plenty of water pressure will soothe your muscles after a long day of study. Also in the room is a small refrigerator and microwave, desk, chair and one-person hammock that's great for relaxation. There is large glass sliding door that goes out to a very large deck area that is perfect for studying or hanging out on nice days.

Other things to note
Our home was built by us - literally. Ever tile, 2 by 4, dry-wall, brick, stone and accessory was hand-placed by either Victor or his brother. We take pride in our home and hope you will enjoy the feeling of a home made this way. It is a work in progress and you may encounter us in the midst of our next project.

One beautiful guest room in a spacious house located in the heart of Bloomington. 8 minutes drive to IU campus and 5 minutes drive to Kroger, and Fresh & Thymes. The room is on 2nd floor with a full bathroom right next to and another full bath downstairs. The room is fully furnished with desk, chair, bookshelf, dresser and a very comfortable sleigh bed. Equipped with high-speed internet and a home security system. There is one medium size lab mixed dog in the house.

Location location location! The house sits in the heart of Bloomington closes to everything you need from grocery store to AMC theatre. 10 minutes walk to city bus line. Its close to YMCA and beautiful Bryan Park. Very friendly and peaceful neighborhood.
