**This is a working farm with cows, chickens, and our famous friendly farm dog, Dixie who views herself as the concierge of the farmhouse. The house itself is situated beside a main farmhouse which is occupied by the farmer and his wife. There will be farm activity going on outside the main house, but the little farmhouse is completely separate and has its own drive and parking.

*Because of the steep stairway, woodstove, and pond, the house may not be conducive to toddlers or very young children not able to navigate these things. Parents use your discretion.

This location is perfect for a summer week or weekend, but the knotty pine interior, fireplace and leather couches can be cozy and inviting for a stunning fall or winter getaway. Great for couples and families alike.

As the description states you would need to carefully watch young children. Also might be difficult for someone that has trouble with stairs. This unique property has been in the Albert Family for 3 generations. The original facility was built in 1945 and served as Albert's Hall for the Lapaz community. Many civic events and square dances were held every Saturday night for the local entertainment in this building. In 1964 the building was sold to the Hale family where they held church there for 50 years. In the summer of 2017 Bruce Albert, grandson of the original owner, purchased the property back and converted back into lodging and event space. We have added a game room. Also, our local park has a playground and pickleball court just yards away. We also provide the paddles and balls for pickleball.

Our cabin, located in Bourbon IN, is perfect for a couple's getaway or even for a single, looking for some alone time. Set in the 4 acre woods on our property, the cabin was a labor of love. Most of the cabin was built by us personally, including the kitchen, the floors and walls, rafters and woodwork, and some of the furniture. Rustic Pottery Barn is the decor style.

The cabin includes a living room and dining room, kitchen with a small fridge and a 2 burner stove, and a loft with a full size bed. There is a ladder that leads to the loft, so you must be okay with climbing a ladder.

The restroom (aka the "loo") is in a separate building behind the cabin. Hot and cold running water. No shower, just a claw foot tub.

There is a front porch for sitting and rocking. Our fire-pit is complete with plenty of wood for some enjoyable nights around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and popping popcorn. We also have a gas grill.

Our two-person hammock is very relaxing if you want to take a snooze. If you want a little fun, we have horseshoes, axe throwing, and cornhole.

We are one mile from the Back Forty Sporting Clays, so you will hear shotgun sounds during the day. The evenings are quiet and the sunsets are beautiful on our dirt country road. Our road is perfect for a long walk... We think we have a haven out here in the country.

Our little town is 6 miles away and has a Family Dollar, a Subway, Bourbon Street Pizza, a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor, a Mexican restaurant, and a family diner. For more stores and restaurants, Warsaw is only 15 miles and has Wal-mart, Kohls, Meijer, Ruby Tuesdays, Hacienda, Texas Roadhouse, Bob Evans and a variety of other great eateries.

We are located 30 miles south of South Bend (Perfect for Notre Dame weekends!) , 45 miles west of Ft. Wayne, 50 miles north of Logansport, 2.5 hours north of Indianapolis and 2.5 hours east of Chicago. Easy to get to the bigger cities.

For several years we owned and rented out our lake cottage, so we are very familiar with making our guests comfortable and had perfect reviews. We were full every week, with many who were repeat guests.

However, if you need to check your email, we have wifi at our house and it makes it to the cabin porch and you are welcome to check your mail on wifi from our patio.

This Modern Victorian Historical Flat was originally built in 1912 and boasts tremendous original character with modern amenities and upgrades throughout. The Modern Historical Flat is located on the second story of this Historical downtown building. There are two routes to access the unit both from the front entrance, with a small spiral staircase, and from the back entrance. The back entrance will be the entrance you will utilize upon your arrival.

There are three bedrooms including a queen bed, a full size bed, a twin bed and a pull out couch in the den area. The space will comfortably sleep 7 people. There is a bar area for eating with 4 available chairs and a front room where you may enjoy eating around the coffee table while looking through the large picture windows into the small Historical Downtown Bremen.

There is a full bathroom and half bathroom for guests to utilize. The kitchen includes a microwave, refrigerator, stove, and Keurig coffee maker for you to enjoy utilizing during your stay.

Please Note* This is located upstairs and does not have elevator access. We encourage you to utilize the back indoor staircase for coming and going from the property as the front stair case winds and is very steep.

Guest access
You may utilize the entire inside unit of the space. There is one locked closet that we request you do not try and access within the unit as this is a cleaning and mechanical closet.

When you enter the building you will head up an indoor staircase that will bring you to landing. This landing is no for utilization of the guests. Please be sure you do not leave any of your belongings on the landing.

You will have utilization of both bathrooms, kitchen, three bedrooms, the den, and front living room space of the unit during your stay.

Centrally located between South Bend, Plymouth, and Nappanee, the Country Corner is 17 miles from the South Bend bypass and 21 miles from South Bend/University of Notre Dame.

The space
If your family enjoys fishing, swimming, sunsets and star gazing you will have an amazing experience!!! The main outdoor seating is a 24 x 18 ground level outdoor deck from the patio door. There is a octagon table with seating for 8. It corners the extended driveway with parking for 6+ cars. There is a locked outdoor 30amp RV hookup, ask for owner approval and extra/occupancy cost use.

Pets under 30 pounds allowed, ask owner before booking about anything bigger.

There are a few 3rd party options:  Rentals have a $300 security deposit. Refunded at the end of the rental.     $1200+ for 7 day; $1000+ for 5 day; $900+ for 4 day;  $700+ for 2 day. One Example This one includes delivery also; 20' Smoker Craft pontoon, fishing and swimming boat. We have lake floats, kids slide, swim pads, 5 person party floats, 1 or 2 person tube floats, loungers, tubes, etc. available to rent, with a fair fee. You have to rope them off on your own prefernece also, And put on land daily. Ask what you need and we can provide.

Upon walking off the deck awaits 125 feet of a private grass setting for your enjoyment and path to a 140-foot private pier with a 20 x 12 dock platform. With a grandiose and solid sand lake area, no muck, swimming area fully on both sides of the pier (bring water shoes/crocs). The lake has a gradual slope from the shore up to about 4.5 feet (use caution) at the deepest part of the pier. So just float, canoe, or kayak or whatever floats your boat! With un-fenced lake and swimming access (adult supervision required). The home has an Amish Horse Carriage Swing and Fire Pit (firewood included 2 stacks per night or purchase from owner if more is needed) which awaits you at the lake front. There is a 36” tree swing. The second-floor balcony is 24 x 12 and is designed to relax with 2 lounge chairs and 2 seating chairs and a table.

The 24 x 12 enclosed front porch is a great gathering place. There is a three person porch swing and a bar height table for seven.

The spacious 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom home has two work desks. A 9 foot x 5 foot kitchen island with seating, which can also be a workstation and of course a catering and set-up/prep area.

The kitchen (Please wash and put away any dishes, appliances, utensils, etc.) and great room has a 77” Smart TV (below is the electric fireplace) and on all 3 of the TV's you can login to all of your apps.

There is a 2- person jacuzzi bathtub/ walk in shower to relax upon at the end of your daily adventures on the main level.

The fishing is unmatched from the pier, do your research on what’s here, ahem, walleye. Fishing license is required by IN DNR. Be on the lookout for foxes, listen to the coyotes at night, great blue herons, hawks, plenty of turkey vultures, mama ducks/geese with their ducklings, and you may catch a glimpse of a bald eagle!

Coffee, Keurig’s, tea,, bottled water, distilled water for diffuser, most simple spices, cleaning supplies, etc. Bring flour or baking needs. I have but most people bring soap or shampoo or personal toiletries and items. Please wash and put away and dishes, appliances, utensils, etc.

Sleeping Bedroom/bed situation:
First Floor; (1st bedroom) a king (with a small lake view), with on-suite walk in shower. (Living room) a modular sofa which converts to at least a king sized sofa sleeper includes full and king sheets in the modular storage and blankets,, and other things. 77" TV.

Second floor; (2nd bedroom) A King bed and a triple twin bunk bed (2nd and 3rd level bunk only to be used by children 12 years and above) , 65” TV and desk with a full lake view cathedral ceilings. (3rd bedroom) A Queen and a fold out twin futon (with a small lake view), 60” TV.

A real “full chefs kitchen”, double oven/air fryer/5 burners, chefs knives, wood cutting boards, essential oil diffuser, complete sink workstation (above fridge is oven divider and workstation), toaster/air fryer, slow cooker, Insta-pot, blender, small smoothie blender, full mixer, coffee maker, Keurig’s and ice maker (both under sink), charrette board, serving trays, BBQ utensils, everything you could need to cook, boil, pans/muffins, slice, strain, etc.

Please wash and put away any dishes, appliances, utensils, etc.

Board games and cards or bring your own. Some yard games, but bring your own. IF you bring folding chairs and table for the pier and make sure if there is a storm they don’t blow into the lake. Soccer/Hockey net. Full size bean bags and kids size bean bags.

Fully remodeled. Hard wired smoke and carbon detectors including enclosed porch. There are security cameras on the exterior only and none in any areas interior where the guests can access. Garage locked by owner and one bedroom is locked by owner used on non-rental days.

Exploring: 30 mins to the University of Notre Dame, 25 mins to South Bend Cubs, 20 mins to Four Winds Casino, Amish country towns including 60 mins to Shipshewana and 15 mins to Nappanee, Round Barn Theater, 20 mins to Potato Creek State Park, 20 mins to Swan Lake Golf Resort. 40 mins to Tippecanoe State Park. All highly recommended! You may not want to leave but there are plenty of adventures around!

Its a good for everyone to bring lake shoes or crocs.

We prefer if your bring your own swimming towels but there are some in the enclosed porch storage, please wash if use.

Please wash and put away any dishes, appliances, utensils, etc.

Bring soap or shampoo or personal toiletries and items. Some are provided at the house.

Bring your own life vests especially for the little ones. Flotation devices, or any lake toys.

If you want to bring own folding tables and folding chairs on the pier. There are plenty of games and toys for the kids and a full size beans bags. Soccer/Hockey net. Full size bean bags and kids size bean bags. There are some swim towels in the front porch storage.

I have 2 free stacks of firewood per night. IF more is needed owner has for sale for a fee. OR bring your own.

Gas Grill available upon request, including 1 full Propane tank.

Keurig machine and ice maker are under the kitchen sink. The coffee is in the cabinet under the coffee bar counter area.

Welcome to this spacious 5,000 sq ft lake house on Lake of the Woods in Bremen, IN, near Notre Dame , Amish Country & Swan Lake Golf Club. With 4 bedrooms plus basement overflow sleeping (total of 8 beds), 3 full baths, there's plenty of room for everyone. Enjoy the 500+ acre all-sport lake, with water sports gear and life jackets provided. Great fishing lake, we have a dedicated fish cleaning area. Bring your boat—pier space available. Perfect for family getaways and relaxing retreats.

The space
This spacious 5000 sq ft lake house comfortably sleeps up to 15 guests across 5 sleeping areas.

Basement: 2 King beds & a full pullout couch (overflow sleeping)

Main Floor: The open-concept first floor includes an entryway, music room, living room, dining room, kitchen with RO water system, laundry room, and a full bathroom, perfect for gathering and relaxing.

Second Floor: The primary bedroom with an ensuite bathroom provides a private retreat. Beautiful view of the lake. Bedroom 2 is very spacious with a wonderful view of the lake also. Bedrooms 3 & 4 have a limited lake view.

Basement: An unfinished walkout basement with overflow sleeping space. 2 king beds, and a pull out couch. This is a walk out basement facing the lake. It opens onto a patio with a swing and additional seating. Lovely landscaping, with beautiful hydrangeas in season. Our sunrises are spectacular! This is also where we store our lake equipment like skis, wakeboards, wake surfboard, wake skate, tubes with the ropes needed. Also floats & noodles etc. Life jackets for guests, size infant-XXL. A stand-up paddleboard, 2 kayaks are available for use.

Outdoor Space: Step outside to the full deck, which includes a screened-in porch for relaxing or dining, plenty of seating, and a grill for outdoor cooking. Down by the lake, you'll find a sand area for the kids & and additional deck area. The pier is a great place to fish & relax. There is a fish cleaning table on the north side of the house. You are welcome to bring your boat, there is space to tie up.
*The owner's boat on the boat lift is not for guest use.
