Lone Eagle Lodge is located on the waters edge on the west side of Lake Buchanan. This charming 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin has a loft with king size bed and a trundle bed with awesome views of the lake and the private ranch across the water. There is also a private bedroom downstairs with large open kitchen and living area opening out to a deck leading down to a sandy beach area. The home sits on 17 acres with privacy and lots of space for your peaceful get away. You will enjoy the lake breezes, peace and quite of the countryside, and be entertained watching the wildlife on the ranch across the water as well as the deer and wildlife on the acreage around you. There is one other larger rental available, the BnR Lodge, for larger parties on the property. The owners home is also located on the property yet still offering plenty of space for everyone's privacy. This property is pet friendly with a pet fee of $25 per night per pet. We have a pier and boat slip for fishing, and day use boarding your boat and to secure your boat while you take a break from the water. The gradual slope of the water offers perfect swimming and or anchoring your boat in front of the house. Great location for children to be able to bring their bikes and have room to ride their bikes in a enclosed area with blacktop roads. There is also a putting green for the golf enthusiast. This charming, family-friendly vacation rental offers spectacular views of the water from both levels and almost every room. Prepare your favorite dishes in the well-equipped, full kitchen, complete with a wine fridge, and then dine shoulder to shoulder at the attached breakfast bar, out back on the furnished patio, or over the water on the covered dock. You'll also find a gas grill for putting a little extra char on your home-cooked menu. We could hear talking early in the morning, but nothing bothersome, but just be aware. Overall, it’s a great place to stay for the lake. Just research how low the lake will be if you plan on having a leisurely walk along the bank. Oh!!! Don’t lock yourself out like I did! I had to charge my phone and all information was on it—thank goodness for iWatches!!! Buffy was great about getting the info to us so we could get back in."

Guest Access:
The last 500 yards is a crushed granite road that may be a little bumpy. As long as you are driving carefully 10mph, sedans do not have a problem accessing the property. Our cleaners drive sedans several times per week and never have an issue. We recommend entering the street across the street from Black Rock State Park to shorten the drive on this country road.

Please note the sign for apartment parking on the gravel drive. Take care not to block in or get blocked in by other guest by parking on the concrete driveway.

Access door to the apartment is on the left side of the driveway behind a privacy screen. Do not enter the Main house porch or backyard.

The Neighborhood:
Flanked by ranches on both sides, you may see some uneven roads and some quintessential Texan Longhorns on the neighboring ranch.

Our RV Park has a beautiful location just 90 to 100 yards from the lake. Each of the 21 spaces have 4-way hookups with 30 and 50 AMP electricity, septic, and water. The last 500 yards is a crushed granite road that may be a little bumpy. As long as you are driving carefully 10mph, sedans do not have a problem accessing the property. Our cleaners drive sedans several times per week and never have an issue. We recommend entering the street across the street from Black Rock State Park to shorten the drive on this country road.

Please note the sign for apartment parking on the gravel drive. Take care not to block in or get blocked in by other guest by parking on the concrete driveway.

Access door to the apartment is on the left side of the driveway behind a privacy screen. Do not enter the Main house porch or backyard.

Welcome to Laurel, one of four Airstreams residing on Lake Buchanan in the Texas Hill Country. Our cozy Airstream features all the comforts of home with a camping atmosphere. Exterior features include a large outdoor seating area, propane gas grill, picnic table and firepit. Interior features include one queen and two twin-sized beds, full restroom with shower and kitchen with cookware and dinnerware.

The space
Laurel is located at LCRA Parks’ Black Rock Park, a 25-acre park on Lake Buchanan. This park offers a variety of outdoor activities including mini golf, a playground, sand volleyball and watercraft rentals. The park also provides a sandy, shallow cove great for swimming and fishing. Other overnight accommodations for visitors to enjoy include tent camping, lakefront cabins and RV camping. If you’re looking for a place to gather during your stay, our rentable Lake View Hall is the perfect spot to host a meeting or special event up to 100 people.

Other things to note
ACCESS: Upon arrival to Black Rock Park, you will be greeted at the front entrance booth (during normal business hours) and given access instructions to Laurel.

PARKING: Two parking spaces are available at Laurel.

PET: Laurel is not pet friendly; however, the other three nearby Airstreams allow pets.

WATERCRAFT: A kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard rental will be included with your reservation, so you can enjoy Lake Buchanan for up to eight hours. You may access during normal business hours.

FIREPIT: A bundle of firewood will be provided for use.

RESERVATION: Our Airstreams require a two-night minimum with a maximum occupancy of four. Entrance fees are due upon arrival at the park.

Enjoy a lake escape getaway on Lake Buchanan. The waterfront cottage is the guesthouse on our main property and is situated with breathtaking views and a short walk to the beach. This lake offers great fishing opportunities.
Perrisos winery & Tor Na Loches winery are nearby as well as many quaint and lakefront restaurants to visit. So much to explore or just come & relax for a weekend getaway!

The space
The River House

Visit the Texas Hill Country for your next getaway and go off the grid at this spacious dog-friendly home on the banks of the Colorado River. A full kitchen with a dishwasher lets you cook your favorite meal. At night, gather in the living room for a family game night or warm up around the outdoor fire.

This home lies just south of Buchanan Lake, with a vast swimming area and very little boat traffic behind the house. The city of Burnet is a 14-mile drive away, where you can attend the Burnet Bluebonnet Festival in the spring. Boat rentals are available at Inks Lake State Park, and the links at Legends Golf Course are just 15 miles away in nearby Kingsland. For hiking and sightseeing in the hills, visit Longhorn Cavern, State Park.

The space

-The entire second floor is a large bedroom where there is a new memory foam king bed and a full size futon.
-There is a dedicated nook with desk and a large window to distract you from work, also a full bathroom with new corner shower.
-The rainfall-style shower head in both bathrooms has strong hot water.
-This property has the fastest internet provider in the area, although occasionally there can be an interruption in service.
-Downstairs has a new fold out couch with upgraded memory foam queen mattress, this is not your grandma's fold out bed! -There is also a smaller futon which could sleep a child.

Guest access
-You will have complete, private access to the house and large yard, which has 150’ of waterfront.
-There is a canoe at the waterfront for you to use and paddles, foam floats, life jackets, fishing tackle and poles in the house, bring your own bait!
-This lot is unique from all others around it because you can step off of the cement dock directly onto granite boulders, you don’t have to swim to reach them to sit on in the (generating) rapids. -Also, due to the large boulders and rocks, you don’t get all of the boats and personal watercraft speeding by buffeting swimmers with large wakes.
-Lake LBJ is a constant level lake which means the LCRA releases water from lakes higher in the lake chain in order to keep this lake at a constant water level.
-While Lake Buchanan lake front properties can go dry in drought, Lake LBJ does not vary in its water level.

Other things to note
-Guests will be required to sign a release via email before entering/accessing the property.
-Houses on and near the lake are known to attract abundant wildlife, including insects such as little flies and spiders. We have found we can avoid the little flies most efficiently by leaving lights off outside and near windows.
-This is REAL country. We occasionally have a squirrel or other critters that like the place too. We discourage them from coming to check things out and encourage them to leave, but, as a city girl, I finally accepted that the critters will come by out here.
For example, I think we are on a skunk’s regular path for foraging. Sitting on the deck at dusk, he will occasionally walk past the deck sniffing the dirt. If this type of encounter isn’t for you, you may want to go to Fredericksburg or somewhere less wild.
-Lake LBJ is part of the Highland Lakes chain and is managed by the Lower Colorado River Authority or LCRA. There are two lakes and dams higher in the chain that feed LBJ and the LCRA uses these dams, especially Buchanan Dam, to generate hydroelectric power by releasing water. This is what the locals call "generating" and it creates wonderful rapids right in front of this property due to the large granite boulders. This is a special and unique feature of this property, that you can step directly onto the granite from the dock, no swimming through rapidly moving water to get to a rock to sit on and enjoy the swirling water.
LCRA does not publish its schedule for generating, but, to date, generating takes place daily for several hours and then the rapids slow down to stillness again.
-The cabin is nice and cozy with one large room upstairs and a full bathroom with shower on each floor, no tub.
-The ceiling on both floors is 7’ high, those over 6’ tall will need to duck to enter the stairs doorway which is 6’ high. Once through the doorway, no more height restrictions, there is no ceiling on the stairs, it is open to the upstairs room.

The space
Perfect house for a weekend retreat for up to two families. This two-bedroom/two-bath house has 2 bunk-beds with trundles in the living room. 107 feet of lake-front on Lake LBJ.

Deep water! Located at the top of Lake LBJ, which is consider to be a constant level lake. The water is approximately 15 feet deep at the end of the dock year round. We are approximately 100 yards from the start of the shallow area with large rocks that has no boat traffic, where you can enjoy peace of mind while kayaking and paddle boarding.

2-story dock on Lake LBJ with retractable stairs into the water. It's a great place to swim (at your own risk) or fish (with your own equipment and any required permit).

Due to the central Texas drought, the lake has receded and is no longer in front of the home. Guests can walk to the lake shore (~100 yds) or travel the 12 miles to Inks Lake or Lake LBJ which are constant-level lakes.

This gorgeous two-level home is loaded with superb amenities, including a kayak, deck, firepit, patio with a gas grill, and even central air-conditioning for hot-weather guests. This oasis of a home is the perfect place to truly disconnect from the world as it does not have internet. Downstairs, the spacious living area boasts high, vaulted ceilings, burnished floors, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake and countryside, and a large TV to enjoy your favorite DVD movies and Nintendo 64 games. We stock all the basic equipment for basic meals, and provide salt, pepper, oil, and basic spice mixes, but please bring any specialty equipment or spices/sweeteners.

Guest access
While travel time is less than 2 minutes on The Rock Road, for a smoother arrival, we recommend entering The Rock Road across from the entrance of Black Rock State Park. This route not only shortens the travel time on the rough road but also ensures a more comfortable transition into the secluded charm that awaits you. The Rock Road forms a loop. Please be warned, and drive 10mph or slower through the uneven road, bumps, and dimly lit entrance road. Our staff is able to access the property just fine in a small sedan if you know how to drive on unpaved roads.

Private entrance under front porch (orange door). Full and private access to the entire home. Nothing is shared, except parking for the separate apartment unit next door. The apartment guest do not have access to any main house, amenities, backyard, porches, pool.

The space
This bright and spacious 3 bedroom and 2.5 bath home with separate pool house/rec room features an open living space leading out to a patio & pool that is privately fenced. The outdoor space is equipped with lounge chairs, cabana umbrellas, covered patio, and outdoor furniture. The rec room/pool house has a futon, half bath, and ping pong table.

Downstairs, the large master features a premium bathroom and dedicated desk set up to make working remotely convenient during your stay. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms separated by a shared full bath with ample closet space. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds.

The fully equipped kitchen features quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances with stained concrete flooring to create the ultimate space for cooking and entertaining.

This home has all the essentials with thoughtful touches throughout as well as a new washer and dryer you are welcome to use during your stay as needed. In 2023 the cottage was completely renovated/updated.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the full house, pool, & rec room. Guests are welcome to bring their boat during their stay and park on property in one of our boat storage units as there are several public docks nearby for lake access. Lake Buchanan has been affected by the drought, but Inks Lake and Lake LBJ are constant level year-round.

The guest will receive a door code 24 hours prior to check-in.

Other things to note
Lake Buchanan, Lake LBJ, and Inks Lake are within minutes of the property and provide many lake activities. Black Rock Park is 2 minutes away with lake access, miniature golf kayaking, swimming, and fishing. If you bring a boat or jet ski and would like to store it inside one of the storage units please let us know.

The space
There is more than enough room in the home to enjoy a delicious dinner using our Ninja Air Fryer, set up a couple of laptops for some work from home action, catch a few movies on Netflix, and appreciate the harmony and serenity that Lake Buchanan offers. We are also equipped with a full gym that has a treadmill, an elliptical machine, and a lifting bench with dumbbells and plates! Your gym goals don’t have to be paused just because you’re heading to the lake! And for our sports aficionados, we have a 30 ft by 40 ft concrete pad with a basketball hoop and a soccer goal! You can also make your way to the relaxing hot-tub which is kept nice and warm for this cooler weather. And please do not forget to enjoy a nice hot chocolate (or cool margarita), on the lovely chocolate-colored deck that hovers above the wonderful lake water.

The Farmhouse is on Lake Buchanan 4-bedrooms, 3 full baths, sleeps 14. Please check LCRA lake levels. We are waterfront and the views are amazing even when the water is low. Guest can access the lake from the property, it maybe a little walk or you can drive depending on water levels. Llano County Park is less than a mile away with a free place to launch your watercraft. Enjoy the short ride around the bend to the Villa, where you can anchor close to the property.

The space
Each guest can wake up to the beautiful sunrise over the water from each bedroom. The screened in patio offers a relaxing place to read, enjoy the water or entertain.

Guest access
Guest can enter the property by staying to the right of the road when they turn into the property. Parking is available by the Farmhouse Villas. Entry into the house is at the back of the house, where you can use your CODE to enter. There are 3 houses, 2 of which we offer as a vacation rentals. We do not rent the main house, that is our personal home. Both houses can be reserved on VRBO under Lake View Villas at Buchanan!

A large cabin in the Hill Country on Lake Buchanan with one bedroom and dormer style sleeping for 12 more people. It has an open concept with a private bathroom, a full kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishes and all the essentials. Bed linens are provided. You have your own picnic table and charcoal grill. Access to Lake Buchanan for swimming and boating on our sandy private beach is just a few steps away.

The space
This 14-person cabin is an authentic log cabin with a private bathroom, kitchen, and AC/Heat.

The cabin has one bedroom with a king bed and the main part of the cabin is an open concept with three double futons, two double beds, and two upper single bunks. We provide all of the bed linens including sheets, blankets, pillows.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kitchen sink, coffee maker with filters, a toaster, dishes, glasses, cups, bowls, a pitcher, tableware, a cutting board, as well as a dinette table and four chairs. This is the ONLY cabin at Cedar Lodge with a full kitchen (stove/oven). Dish soap, trash bags, and kitchen towels are also provided, but bring your own paper goods such as paper plates, paper towels etc.

All bathrooms have a shower. Remember to bring your own bath towels, shampoo, soap and toiletries as none are provided. Toilet paper is provided.

To enjoy the serenity of the Texas Hill Country, each cabin has an outdoor picnic table and charcoal grill so bring charcoal, lighter fluid, and matches. BBQ tools are provided.

Access to Lake Buchanan for swimming and boating is just a few steps away. The Reunion Park has a Game Room (pool, ping pong, foosball), swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, soccer, washers, horseshoes, corn hole, and ladder golf. We offer free firewood for your campfire and boat rentals on the beach.

Elk Lodge was built with the rental market in mind and offers two primary suites and a large open-concept great room. The kids will love the large upstairs bunk/game room that sports four twin beds, a Ping-Pong table, and a large flatscreen TV. The covered boat lift (with a 6,000-lb. limit), dual jet ski lifts, and complimentary kayaks will ensure fun times on beautiful Lake LBJ!

In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.
