- "We rent a vacation home very year for our entire family - our two daughters and their husbands and our four grandchildren. We have stayed in some wonderful places but this one is going to be hard to beat. The owners were great, and the house was well stocked and better than the listing promised. There were so many activities available that we didn't get to take advantage of during our 7 day stay. The magnificent pool and jacuzzi were a big hit. The house was stocked with lots of toys and equipment for the pool, including a water slide and basket ball equipment. The owners also provided numerous pool towels. We had great weather so we were able to spend most of our time on the unbelievable patio equipped with large screen tv and sound system. It was like a second family room. The entire family enjoyed a karaoke night on the patio. There were several outdoor tables with umbrellas so dining outside was easy. And, I should mention the incredible outside kitchen with every possible type of outdoor cooking device. The owners made our final day and departure easy. We just had to pack up and go home. Oh, and we also brought our two dogs, Izzy and Rosie. They had a great time too. The dogs felt right at home when they found a bin of dog toys, The owners even provided Izzy and Rosie with bags of personalized dog treats. We had a great time and wonderful accommodations!"

Very cute DIY decor, comfortable beds, all kitchen tools, appliances and dishes supplied. Clean towels in every room. The neighbors are friendly and accommodating. Great for a large family with smaller children as there were toys and bassinet available. The neighborhood is pretty quiet but very conveniently located between the older downtown and the newer shopping developments. We attended events at both ends of town and found the location of the property perfect. We never drove more than 15 minutes to any event. It is an older home in an older neighborhood and does not have central air, so bring a fan in the hotter months if you plan on hanging out at the house, but for us it didn't matter because we were out and about from daylight till dawn. Also, as a side note, the American Legion on 7th street serves the most delicious food and beverages at a very reasonable price. The owner of the property was very accommodating, the residents were very helpful and friendly and the American Legion was very welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better experience."

This pre-Civil war guest house is more than 200 years old and has been meticulously restored. Located on 355 acres of beautiful land, the guest house offers itself as a serene nature retreat. Inside the house, you will find 3 floors; the bottom floor also serves as a clubhouse for the Pittsburgh Polo Team, and includes a meeting room, bar area, and grand theatre room. The outdoor patio hosts a spectacular sunset view of the pond and woods, perfect for anyone looking for a weekend escape!

The bottom floor also includes the original kitchen that has now been remodeled into a Cigar room with original stone walls and ax cut beams in ceiling. The middle floor has a spectacular living room with wall to wall windows on three sides with vistas of pond, barn, horse arena and the hundreds of acres of woods. The middle floor has a fully equipped office, a bedroom with attached clawfoot tub bathroom that takes you back to the original days. The top floor has four masterfully decorated bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The house provides access to miles of private trails where you can see deer and turkey run abound, a pond with trout, pike, etc. and a large treehouse in the woods that can sleep 12. There are a number of amenities on the property including: polo horse lessons, trail rides, atv, dirt bike, archery, sporting clays, fishing, etc. All these are guided activities and completely private to just you and your group.

- "We arrived and had not received and communication regarding check-in. When I put the address in to the Uber, so we can be dropped off, we were sent to the wrong location. I thought we were scammed. I was able to communicate with the property manager and he corrected everything and gave me the correct address. He said that he has given the correct address several times, but there has been no change. Our property manager, Larry was excellent in providing the correct address and was hospitable and insured. We had everything we needed including bringing us coffee and water. He was more than hospitable host and I thank him for making this trip memorable and fun."
