This sweet little place is tucked away in a ghost town, Central to several places of interest, making it easy to plan your visit. Within 20 minutes of Atoka, home of Reba‘s place, 45 minutes of Durant and Choctaw Casino – and Tishomingo, home of Ol’ Reds and Blue River. Its’s Handicap assessable. This little house was built for my Vietnam veteran uncle. He was handicapped and enjoyed his independence. He helped to design the B1 stealth and this home has been decorated in his honor. We lovingly referred to him as Beano. We welcome you to Beano’s Pad and hope you enjoy some history. Note, he did not pass away in his home. His two little dogs have moved across the yard to my home, but they can sometimes be found inside Beano’s Pad if the door is left open.

Completely restored cabin on the banks of the Blue River! Enjoy kayaking, fishing, grilling, hanging around the camp fire, and making fantastic memories! It's great for a romantic, secluded, getaway, and perfect for a family vacation with the kids.

The Blue River is know for it's fantastic fishing, kayaking, and is only minutes from Lake Texoma. The master bedroom, with a gorgeous view of the river, is down and has a dressing table with mirror. The spacious loft is up with 2 queen beds and a blow up mattress with fresh linens if needed. The full bath has a washer and dryer, river rock shower, and fluffy bath towels. There is also an additional shower outside with hot and cold that is absolutely refreshing on any day of the year! The adorable kitchen features an oven, full size sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, pantry, and all utensils and cookware if you plan to make time to cook! Or, grill out and eat around the picnic table! You'll enjoy waking up to the spectacular views of the tranquil river and if you are up early enough, you might spot an otter or two swimming around the dock. Sip coffee on the covered porch in the morning and relax with a glass of wine at night. If you're more adventurous, float down the river to "the falls" with 4 available kayaks, relax in the hammock, roast marsh mellows around the fire pit, or catch a fish or two from the dock. Come and enjoy the well kept secret and charm of the Blue River Retreat!

This is a small, antique and historic cabin that will not stand up to the wear and tear of being overcrowded.

- "Beautiful rustic cabin that was exceptionally clean. It was clear the host went above and beyond to make the cabin comfortable and cozy and bug-free (hard to do in the middle of river country - but Jami managed to do it). We fished and caught several bass right from the dock, had coffee on the porch and a glass of wine on the swing overlooking the river. We made friends with the neighbor dog Brodie - who we grew to love before our stay ended. This place was good for our soul, everyone should come visit - it's magical."

Family Farm House sits on a small horse, cattle, and chicken farm with lots of friendly cats and dogs. The home is 1800 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen and a large gathering area. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and 2 single beds with adjoining bath and shower with a separate tub. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have new queen mattresses and a bathroom with shower/tub combination between them. Bedroom 3 also has a twin bed. Each bedroom is decorated with an eclectic country theme. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to come, bake, serve, and has dishes and eating utensils. The large gathering room that include 2 couches and chairs. There is cable TV along with board games and books. Dining room is located off of the gathering room. The front porch offers lots of seating and there is a small patio space with a fire pit and smoker/grill.
The house sleeps 8 comfortably. You are welcome to bring blow up beds. No pets.

We also have 1 full RV hookup that includes 50amp service with water and sewer. It is an additional $50/night with a 2 night minimum stay. The RV hookup is an addition that comes with the rental of the home.

We are 5 miles from Tishomingo, the historic capital of the Chickasaw nation. Tishomingo is home to Ol Red, Blake Shelton’s restaurant and gift shop. Family Farm House is 3 miles south from beautiful Blue River where you can swim, fish, kayak or tube. We are 15 miles from Lake Texoma and just a few miles from Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge.

Creek side, peaceful and quiet area located just 3 miles from the restaurants and all the cute shops in Tishomingo. Centrally located between the scenic Blue River, the golf course and Blake Shelton’s famous restaurant, Ole Red. We do have blink doorbell and camera on the outside entrance areas.

Vicki makes the best breakfast. Her cinnamon rolls are the best I have ever had. We were only at the cabin for a few days. One of those days, I wasn’t feeling very well, so I decided to stay at the cabin while my husband went to help our daughter prepare for her wedding, the following day.
