Welcome to Our beautiful year-round lakehouse with all of the modern amenities. After a two year hiatus, we are once again opening our beloved home to guests in 2024. Its always been our summer escape for the past 40+ years, so our huge family know what an ideal opportunity this get away is.

Our large kitchen is stocked with everything you need for making meals, plus a 3 seat breakfast bar. Dining room table seats 10 people. Large family room with stone fireplace. Shelves stack Loads of games & puzzles to play in the evening or on rainy days.

The best place in the house is our sunroom with a window wall offering a full view of the lake. Cell phone service throughout the house.

YES, we offer Wifi. (We know work calls even while vacationing. ) DVD players in loft & living room for movies/gaming hook up. No cable. Who needs cable when We know the Charcoal corral drive - in experience is a must. (but we also hook up a sheet outside & project movies under the stars with our cell phone & apple projector.)

Wake up & step outside with coffee or tea, sit on our tree swing and soak in the serenity. Chipmunks and hummingbirds whimsily buzz around by the old world stone dining patio. Fire pit w/firewood & 6 outdoor folding chairs, picnic table.

On the waterfront: soak up the sun on our huge deck on the water. Its like an outdoor living room fully furnished with sofas & chairs, coffee table, large shade umbrella, 4 lounge chairs, An extended boat dock with swimming ladder & plenty of dock space to fish off of.
We also provide 2 Kayaks - both ends of the lake are nature reserves where Eagles sightings are almost always seen while kayaking or boating. Blue herons land on the docks in the evening, so thats a new phenomina to be so close to them.

Car park: 3 in driveway, and more on road.
Parties: Please no gatherings, due to close proximity to our neighbors.

Silver Lake is nestled in the rolling hills of Wyoming county New York. The lake is 4 miles long, a mile wide, and known for good fishing...Winter time too! I've counted over 100 ice fishing tents in one day.

- "The home was warm and inviting. The decore was beautiful and charming. Much of the time was spent on the enclosed porch and on the deck near the water. Would love an opportunity to rent again." - "Great location. Well equipped including dock with chaise loungers and umbrellas, kayaks, tree swing, seating, fire pit, updated kitchen, washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend and rent again." - "This was a terrific place to stay and SO great to host a variety of guests. We had 7 adults and 5 kids (ranging from age 2-7) overnight. The kitchen is very well stocked. We'd taken cooking utensils and a few cookie sheets, but they were unnecessary as we had lots to choose from. The beds were clean and very comfortable. Upstairs is loaded for a great slumber party opportunity with 4 small beds for little kids as well as 3 twin sized beds. There were plenty of life jackets and water shoes (needed for the rocks in the water). The two kayaks were in good condition. The dock had plenty of seating space and opportunity for fishing or swimming. Although lots of rocks and seaweed along the shore, the water itself was very clear. Linda was a very swift communicator by messaging through Vrbo and e-mail as well as text messaging. The only downside, we'd say, is that there were quite a few dust bunnies around and dust on the surfaces/window blinds. Otherwise, the most important things (linens, kitchen, and baths) were all very clean and everything was very tidy when we arrived. Lots of board games and puzzles. No need to bring any. Charcoal Corral is a great place to go to eat and/or have some entertainment and the Silver Lake property easement down along the lake allows for great walking and viewing of all the lake houses. All in all, we'll definitely be back!"

But we were happy to get the chance to see the eclipse from the owner of the cabins, maple farm! They showed us around, taught us about Maple, and let us hang around fr the event! Great and friendly people! The only problem my family had with the cabin was the sulfur smell from the water. But it's a cabin and it has working water and heat so it was everything we needed! Plenty of room for my whole family to sit around the living room and play a few games and make a few puzzles before bed! We really enjoyed walking into the cabin having a few little sweet treats left out for us!"

The hosts thought of everything. Communication with the host was quick and clear, and we felt welcomed into their home. *Please be aware that the highway can be loud at times, but after personally living at this location a few years ago, we can attest that the road noise almost always quiets down completely at bedtime! We never found the noise too stimulating to sleep through; however, we aim to be as honest as possible with our listing and want you to be fully aware of every aspect.😇

Our house has 1.5 bathrooms. There is a large half-bath downstairs with one washing machine and TWO dryers!! All are fully functional and available for your convenience! We have a variety of laundry soaps you are welcome to use or you can bring your own.

The upstairs bathroom is a full bath with a bathtub and shower which we aim to keep spick and span at all times! You won’t find soap scum or hairs here!! 😅 The shower is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Both bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fluffy bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. Of course, you will always find plenty of toilet paper and hand soap as well!

Come cook all of your meals in the comfort of our fully stocked and well equipped kitchen! You’ll find we keep a tidy workspace for preparing anything from frozen dinners to a gormet holiday buffet! Our fridge is clean and empty for you to fill with all of your favorite groceries. Our microwave is clean and large enough to cook for a small family. We have a clean, functional, electric range stovetop/oven plus a wide variety of pots, pans, and baking/cooking utensils for whatever your creative mind comes up with! We have plenty of quality dinnerware pieces for you to serve with, including: various sizes of plates, bowls, glasses and silverware. When you’re all finished, clean up with ease with the use of our handy and spacious dishwasher!

We can accommodate up to 8 guests with the use of a full size fold-out futon (in a separate downstairs room).

There is a work desk, chair, and desk lamp set up in one of the upstairs bedrooms for your convenience. We have Spectrum 5G internet and many guests report that it works great! We have personally never had any trouble with its speed or function.

*There are 2 entrances. Both the front porch and back door have a few steps up to the door.

Our goal is for you to find our house very clean, non odorous, and fully stocked with every necessity for your comfort at all times! If you do not find anything as described, please let us know and we will do our very best to amend the situation as soon as possible. We try to be very prompt to answer your messages and we live 10 minutes away, so we can come help with anything if needed.

We are 1 mile from the Perry/ Warsaw airport: 1 hr to both Buffalo and Rochester.

We enjoyed the space of the house over a hotel. The house is very clean and we didn't have any issues. Everything was in good working condition. The temp is set low and it takes a bit for the house to heat up. I strongly recommend taking along bottled water for drinking. There is no play area, as listed, but the yard is spacious and my children enjoyed watching the neighboring goats. Overall, it worked great for our needs."

This 100 year old house is situated next to a train track, making it a dream come true for train enthusiasts. The train passes by approximately 10-12 times a day and night, but newly installed windows help minimize noise disruption.

Please note, if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the ideal home for you.

We are 7 minutes from Six Flags Darien Lake, 25 min from Batavia Downs horse track & casino, 30 min from Buffalo airport and 1 hour from Niagara Falls.

This home offers everything you would look for in a getaway, contemporary decor with lots of space indoor for relaxation.

A coffee bar is provided with a Keurig and K Cups. We also like to keep the "Bed and Breakfast" tradition by offering baked goods from our local bakery. If you have any allergies please let me know ahead of time.

The backyard is newly renovated. Pets are welcome but we please ask you to pay the pet fee and to keep your pets on leashes at all times.

The town of Darien has a very strict policy of only 8 people for short term rentals- this includes infants. Please do not bring more than 8 people. There is a very steep fee if any extra guests are in the house.

Leah provided a local list of businesses that deliver both groceries and takeout, along with a few of her favorites. We will definitely add the pink house to our list of return places to stay should we make our way back to Darian Lake."

Boats can be put into the lake at the Silver Lake State Park. The Silver lake marina has paddle boards and boat rentals available. **Boats may NOT be docked at our dock. Boat docking must occur at the Marina or via a reserved slip at the Country Club. There is plenty of room in the driveway to park your boat trailer.

The home has central air. We ask that you choose between central air and having all of the porch doors open into the foyer, dining room and living room downstairs. We typically opt to have the porch open for the breeze unless over 80 degrees but we understand all guests have different preference. The central air will not function properly if you leave it running with the doors open.

The fireplace is decorative only. Fireplace use is not permitted!

As an * original* 1900’s cottage- this is not the place for you if you do not appreciate vintage charm. She's an old house - oldie but a goodie!

The space
Two bedrooms and 2 full baths with a huge great room to relax and have a wood fire. The great room has lounging area and a dining table with seating for 8. Kitchen has all the basics for preparing meals and dining area with a beautiful view through leaded glass windows.
Enjoy 62 acres of beautiful lawns, Trails, a pond and even a Tree house. Perfect place to get a way from a hectic lifestyle. People who enjoy nature and quiet. Artists, perfect romantic setting. NO TV, but excellent WIFI and cell phone service excellent

Relax in nature with bubbling streams and a pond for fishing, exploring and swimming. Cozy yet spacious updated 1950's log cabin with acres to roam. Great family fun destinations are a short drive away including Letchworth State Park, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, Attica Arcade Railroad, Wolcott Farms 4 seasons of Fun and More. There are also several event venues near by. In addition to bedrooms there are 2 pull out full size sleeping sofas and a futon for additional sleeping space.

The space
This is a log cabin with the logs going vertical . The floor plan is open with a wood burning stove for ambiance. the kitchen has an island with updated appliances. The outside is 800 feet off the main road and is at the headwaters of the Tonawanda creek.

The pond is stocked with large mouth bass. bring off set bass hook if you are fishing. they will hit on surface, wopper ploppers ,, rubber worms with Texas rig. use big hooks so the fish do not swallow the hooks

Lakeside is a four season, three bedroom fully stocked home ready for your family. Outside living includes a deck, screened side room, dock, large yard and fire pit. The country club is a quick walk down the road, Letchworth State Park a quick drive. Other local attractions include the Charcoal Corral with Drive-in and putt putt golf, Wine Bar, Brewery, Apple Orchards, Antiques and great restaurants. We have WiFi, air conditioning and heat in the winter. Enjoy Silver Lake this year!

This Lake front cottage is the perfect place to relax after a day of golf or exploring Western NY. Spectacular views, beautiful sunrises, and all the cottage vibes to create lasting memories. The spacious front yard has the perfect view of the lake. There is a screened in porch (lakefront) with a table and chairs and the chaise lounge to enjoy your coffee, dinner or a quiet little nap. Covered porch (lakefront) with a picnic table.

The space
Boats can be put into the lake at the Silver Lake State Park. The Silver Lake Marina has paddle boards and boat rentals available. Boats may NOT be docked at our dock (the dock is old). Boat docking must be done at the marina or via reserved slip at the country club. There is plenty of room in the driveway to park your boat trailer and just a stones throw away from the golf course.
Propane fireplace you’re welcome to use on cool nights or mornings if you prefer.
The cottage has a full kitchen ready for your use. The water is filtered, but if you would prefer bottled water that is not provided
First floor stackable washer and dryer. The cottage has central air and will not properly function with doors and windows open.
Grill is provided with propane tanks, guests are responsible for cleaning and maintaining grill prior to using, during, and after each use.

Guest access
Everything is assessable except the 2 car garage and the outside bunk house which is locked. If more sleeping arrangements are needed, please let me know in advance so it can be prepped for guest. The bunk house has air conditioning but no bathroom.

Other things to note
We want you to enjoy my Moms slice of heaven as much as she did. With that being said, we have great neighbors, so please respect the quiet time. Have a fun memorable stay, but be considerate of the neighbors! They are great people! And may just join in on the fun!
The cottage is a 10 minute drive from Letchworth State Park, The Country
club at the Silver Lake golf course which is a public golf course is within walking distance. The Charcoal Corral and Silver-lake twin drive-in are located on the east side of the lake 10 minutes away where you can enjoy mini golf, arcade and restaurant. Many local breweries in the area. For the animal lovers Wolcott Farms in Warsaw, New York offer trail rides lessons, wagon rides, and many more activities.
