Front living room offers a pull-out Queen sofa sleeper, 72”4k Roku TV and front access to porch. Being an Old Historic Cottage, all doors are able to shut to ensure complete privacy and comfort for a guests sleep. (Sleeps 2 adults)

Kitchen is fully equipped for all guests! All pots/pans, bakeware, cooking utensils, plates/bowls, Samsung 5- Burner stove/oven, dishwasher, French door refrigerator with ice and water, Nutribullet, tea kettle and 4-slice toasters are available for guests during stay. Even a quaint coffee station providing a Keurig duo single-pod or 12 cup pot to start your mornings or end your nights!

Office space is located in the back with beautiful backyard views! All doors are able to close off this 2 desk office space to provide a peaceful and quiet workspace. Making that 4 desks and work spaces throughout the home!

Laundry includes full size washer and dryer- no charge. Amenities provide for stay (laundry soap, dryer sheets). Ironing board in laundry and a streamer in front master closet.

Front porch views are enjoyed with our 2 small patio tables and 2 large benches. Allowing 8 guests to enjoy our quiet neighborhood views.

Backyard Patio provided 4 large 2 seater lounge chairs allowing guests to enjoy our propane fire pit. The 10 guests seating picnic tables comes with our propane grill for outdoor entertainment. (Guests are responsible for filling 2 tanks provided during stay- Walmart is a quick 5 minute drive to do so).

Our compact car sized Garage is perfect for beach/ lake gear during y’all’s stay!

Pets:
Our Historic District is very pet-friendly and only a short walk away. Please keep your pups on a leash and clean up after your pups, as we love our pet-friendly neighborhood and would love to keep it that way! Thank you!

- "Words can not describe this Home and YES I SAY HOME NOT HOUSE! Plenty of room for all ages of our family from elders to small children they have thought of it all. Close to the lake where we enjoyed the 4th of July parade, fireworks and other festivities. The Beds were very comfortable. The 1800s met the 2025s loved how they tried to preserve the original home but also modern for daily living. Master shower was great with the Bluetooth speakers built it!!.We will definitely think of this place in future trips to the beautiful springs and DeFuniak Springs."

A home with plenty of shade and outdoor area to enjoy. Fish from the dock, play games on the screen porch, or BBQ at the picnic area. Plus there is a boat launch nearby. Plenty of room to eat or chat around the table. Three beds (king, 2 queen) to make very comfortable sleeping arrangements for six people. You can request fish food -- fun for kids to take to the dock and watch the fish come over for a meal.

Very private, yet still close to the lovely sandy white beaches of South Walton County (approximately 20 minute drive). Or take a drive to visit the E.O.Wilson Biophilia Center, historic Eden Gardens State Park, or Alaqua Animal Refuge. There are several golf courses, scuba diving, horseback riding, and fishing charter opportunities -- all of which can be done as a day trip.

Other recommendations and entertainment ideas can be provided upon request. Please review house rules regarding pets. There is a $50 fee for animals brought on the property.

- "Our family had an amazing vacation! After a very hard year of battling cancer, our family needed to reconnect & unwind. I grew up in the area & brought my family down to see my hometown. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the firepit due to summer heat but the outdoor pavilion, picnic table & fan w/ lighting, were great for entertaining some old friends & family for dinner. The dock has benches on either side & was a great peaceful spot to just relax & enjoy nature while you feed the fish. My oldest son caught & released his 1st fish ever. The fishing poles & hooks are in the shed. We used the cooler for drinks when we went to the beaches & Springs. The view was beautiful at sunset. The screened in porch entertained many conversations & allowed us a spot away from the insects at dusk. The facilities were amazing & the owners Theresa & Jonas were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for a vacation for quality family time. We had a wonderful time! We made a lot of memories. We will absolutely book again when we are back. Some of our guests asked for the information for a local staycation. If you are looking for a relaxing place with spectacular views & waterfront access, you won't find a better place than Serenity Retreat. I do wish there would have been an option for a peddle boat, a small fishing boat, or canoe so we could have paddled around the lake. Also, a bigger couch for better cuddle time with my kiddos."

- "We were visiting the area to visit family. The location was large enough for my family and large enough to host visitors during our stay. The home is easy to tidy and all cleaning supplies were on site. The location was quiet and even had a few neighborhood cats and dogs swing by. We were able to cook meals and make s’mores at this location. Our kids were able to play in the yard and not have to worry about spurs. There were a few ant piles out back, but easy to navigate. It was nice to have a full house with all amenities for a little more money than a hotel room. Bruce and Mande were very helpful and responsive to all our questions. We would stay here again."

- "Beautiful place! Right on the lake. Beautiful large wrap porch, screened in. Enough room so everyone could spread out. Super large kitchen with plenty of cabinet and counter space. It's not even 10 minutes to downtown and maybe 15 to I-10 so great location. Alex was always quick to respond and very patient with all my questions. There was a small hickup with code to open the door but it was quickly resoved. If you are planning on using washer/dryer make sure to let him know. Also we did have ants but nothing peppermint didn’t handle. Overall it was a comfortable mobile home and we throughly enjoyed our time here. Oh also, there is a leash law in FL so if you bring pets make sure they are on a leash the neighbor has large bulldog mix but we didn’t have any issues."

- "We loved the location! It was close to town and a short drive to the interstate. We came to visit the springs and it was only 20 minutes from the springs. The house was really nice and very accommodating to the 10 of us that stayed there. The only complaint was the floors were dirty and sandy. "

The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of seating available. We did run out of toilet paper and purchased a 4 pack which we left for the next guests. This cabin is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Holly. It includes a kitchen/ dining room, living room, full bathroom, laundry room, a large bedroom, and one additional small bedroom. The large bedroom has a queen and a twinXL bed; and the small bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has three couches. Washer, dryer included. On the porch there is a charcoal grill; and there is a picnic table on a deck on the ground at the other end of the cabin. Wifi internet available.

Other things to note
The dock and ramp have an easement to them that a few nearby property owners have access to use. None of them live nearby, however. I have never seen any of them. Please no eating in the bedrooms or sunroom. Please use the breakfast bar and kitchen. Thank You

Welcome to our little slice of heaven on earth! This tiny home sits on 40 acres with its own private lake full of fish and wildlife. You can swim, fish, or float as much you like and walk as far as you can see. 5 minutes away you can take a walk down the quaint city of Florala which offers many antique stores and the beautiful Lake Jackson. Visit Destin with its white sand beaches, Ponce de Leon & Vortex Springs, or the scenic creeks at Bear Paw & Econfina for a fun day of tubing and swimming!

There is a King bed, a twin size trundle bed (rolls under the king) , and a large cot if sleeping 4! Please let me know if you have more than 2 guest so I can make sure the small bed and cot are prepared for you ! :)

Even a quaint coffee station providing a Keurig duo single-pod or 12 cup pot to start your mornings or end your nights!

Office space is located in the back with beautiful backyard views! All doors are able to close off this 2 desk office space to provide a peaceful and quiet workspace. Making that 4 desks and work spaces throughout the home!

Laundry includes full size washer and dryer- no charge. Amenities provide for stay (laundry soap, dryer sheets). Ironing board in laundry and a streamer in front master closet.

Front porch views are enjoyed with our 2 small patio tables and 2 large benches. Allowing 8 guests to enjoy our quiet neighborhood views.

Backyard Patio provided 4 large 2 seater lounge chairs allowing guests to enjoy our propane fire pit. The 10 guests seating picnic tables comes with our propane grill for outdoor entertainment. (Guests are responsible for filling 2 tanks provided during stay- Walmart is a quick 5 minute drive to do so).

Our compact car sized Garage is perfect for beach/ lake gear during y’all’s stay!

Santa Clara tiny house has a large yard and a private back porch to unwind. Perfect for those traveling on business that would like the comfort of home with all of the amenities of a hotel. The home is decorated eclectic modern with old Florida charm. Most will fall in love with the space! The king size bed is a top of the line Serta ( FIRM ) mattress. Out of the 180 reviews only 2 have been dissatisfied with the firmness. But I would like to stress it is firm. I would rather guest know before booking and being unhappy. The coffee pot offered is a Kierug style. We provide 2-4 pods depending on 1-2 nights stays. Anything longer than that you will need to provide. These are a few things that you as a guest I thought you might want to know:) There is adequate parking for those traveling with Uhauls, boats & RV’s.

Our home is a small Florida cottage with a very well organized and thoughtful floor plan, making the space of just over 1100 sq ft quite functional for 4 adults and 2 children. Sorry, but we do not accept bachelor's or bachelorette party bookings. Minimum age for a reservation is 25.

Boathouse and boat dock:
Our boathouse is private to our home, exclusively for guest use. You're more than welcome to bring your own boat and dock it here during your stay. We do not have a boat launch on our property however, the public boat launch is less than 1/2 mile from our home, making the access quite convenient. Please message in advance of placing your reservation with us, so we may confirm the ability to accommodate the size of your boat. **There are numerous trees and stumps throughout the lake - some are visible and many are not. Any boating should be done with extreme caution and at the boaters risk. Due to the trees and stumps throughout the lake, no jet skiing, tubing or any other boat related activities that will create waking/require open waters are permitted.**

The kitchen comes fully equipped to ensure that dining-in while on vacation feels as though you're cooking the you would in your own kitchen. We offer a Counter depth quad door refrigerator/freezer, a full sized glass top electric range/oven, a full sized dishwasher along with a farmhouse stainless steel sink. Even though our footprint is small, we made sure to utilize the space wisely within our home. We also provide starter kitchen amenities.

Laundry:
The laundry room is located next to the kitchen making it an ideal location to use as a combined laundry/pantry to ensure there is ample space to store your food and beverages. There is a compact washer and dryer, vacuum, steam mop along with bench seating and hooke to neatly store your jackets and shoes. (We also provide started laundry amenities).

Bathroom:
Our full bathroom offers a tub/shower, single sink vanity, endless hot water (tankless water heater) blow dryer, a rain shower head and toilet.

Bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and 1 bath mat are provided for your stay. All bath linens are stored in the laundry room.

We offer a propane grill (guest is responsible for the propane refills, we provide the tank). 2 picnic tables that offer searing for up to 8 guests, an outdoor fire pit overlooking the Lake along with lounge seating inside the boathouse, to take in the stunning lake views.

**One 3 person Canoe, one 4 person peddle boat and two single person kayaks are provided, making this an ideal vacation destination location for a single family of two couples.**

Please when using our boats, you wear the provided life vests and ensure you inspect every boat to ensure they are SAFE prior to taking out on the water. Do not take any boat out without at least one paddle/oar, to ensure you will not be stranded on the water. Please do not party on our boats, they are for responsible use to enjoy our lake. We will not be held responsible for Guest Negligence and Guest will Waive Liability to Owner in the event of an accident. **

Our 3 bed, 2 bath 1250 sqft home that comfortably fits up to 6 adults is the perfect stay for a getaway or quick stop (plenty of parking, RVs welcomed). We've equipped our backyard with everything you need for a great time. Inside is fully furnished & comfortable, w/ plenty of space for you & your guests. The space
We've equipped our backyard with everything you need for a great time such as a propane BBQ grill, hammock, bonfire pit for roasting marshmallows or hotdogs, a glow-in-the-dark yard pong and corn hole set for some friendly competition day or night, a light-up frisbee for nighttime fun and even a kid friendly magnetic dartboard. If you're looking for some more low-key entertainment, we've also got oversized Jenga and Connect Four available to play on our picnic table outside which fits 8. Our swinging bench in our fully screened-in front porch is also a great place to unwind and listen to the birds or crickets chirp while outside or reading a book.

Inside, the home is fully furnished and comfortable, with plenty of space for you and your guests. The master bedroom features a plush king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom w/ a blow dryer provided, while the other two bedrooms each have a queen-sized bed. The second bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway in-between the other 2 bedrooms and the laundry room is available with a washer and dryer (if planning to use or believe it might be needed during your stay please let us know during booking or prior to check-in).

Clean sheets, pillows and cases, duvet covers and inserts are provided during your stay to ensure all you have to bring are your vacation clothes and gear. Bath towels, washcloths, hand towels and bathmats are also provided for your stay.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up some delicious meals, including a stove, oven/toaster oven, coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and plenty of cookware and utensils. There's a dining area that fits 6 + cozy living room for hanging out together. Enjoy a movie night or catching up on your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV (Roku equipped), or curl up with a good book on the comfortable couch.

When you're ready to explore, our home is less than half a mile from the public boat launch so you may bring your own boat or kayaks to enjoy all that Lake Juniper has to offer. Please message in advance of placing your reservation with me, so we may confirm the ability to accommodate the size of your boat.

We've put together a binder which you’ll find inside with some fun local activities and attractions to experience while you're staying with us in Defuniak Springs such as free wine tastings, local food trucks & farmer’s markets, a shooting range, Florida’s oldest haunted hotdog stand, where to find the best milkshakes and beignets or breakfast pastries, or delicious unlimited fried shrimp in town. Or if you need some pampering with a facial or massage or a touch up on your spray tan, we also know the spot.

Our home sits on 20 mostly untouched and wooded acres, surrounded by some Magnolia trees, hence the name “Magnolia Ranch”. It was built in 1984 in the beautiful and historical City of DeFuniak Springs. If you head towards Lake DeFuniak (just a few minutes away) you will enter into the Historic District - which is in the National Register of Historical Places.

We are just minutes away from Lake DeFuniak and all that the vibrant downtown has to offer.
We often see families of deer walk through our back lawn! Keep an eye on the bird feeders, too! Our winged friends often come to visit for a snack!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Lake House. The Holley house is a 2 story house that has a beautiful back yard view of the lake Holley. This house has 3 bedrooms.

1st bedroom is downstairs with a King size bed and a bathroom. This bathroom is shared with the rest of the downstairs. It has a shower, toilet. and sink. Downstairs there is also a full kitchen, a sunroom, and a living/dining room. 2nd Bedroom is upstairs, it has a King size bed and 2 Twin Size beds. 3rd bedroom is also upstairs, it has a Queen size futon couch. 2nd bathroom is upstairs between 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. This bathroom has a shower/tub, toilet, and a sink. Sheets, and pillows are provided. Bath towels are provided. We only provide 1 set of linens. There is a washer and dryer in the laundromat if you need to clean your linens. We also provide 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels. Outside in the back yard there is a hot tub, a gas grill, and a fire pit. Out front there is parking for 3-4 cars.

The space
This Lake House is located at Twin Lakes Camp Resort in DeFuniak Springs FL. After booking you will receive further details about your arrival. Check-in starts at 3pm. Late arrivals are allowed, but check-in is still required the next day. Office hours are 8am-4pm everyday.

Joes house has 2 King size bedrooms, and 1 “Bunk room”. Sheets, pillows are provided. Bath towels are provided. Please bring your own “pool towel” for hot tub/pool use. We only provide 1 set of linens. There is a washer and dryer in this house if you need to clean your linens. We also provide 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels. 1st bedroom has a full bathroom (Toilet, shower, jacuzzi tub, and sink). 2nd bedroom shares a bathroom with the “Bunk Room”. The 2nd bathroom has a toilet, sink, and a tub/shower. There is a full kitchen, and a living room/dining room. The dining room table can seat up to 12. There is also a 4th bedroom that has a Queen size pull out couch. This house has beautiful backyard that overlooks the Holley lake. In the backyard you have a fire pit, a hot tub, and a gas grill. There is minimal parking out front where you can park 2-3 cars.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips and retreats. This home has two separate homes joined by a massive, in-ground pool. Combined, the homes sleep up to 15 people total.
