Baker and sunsets that could mirror those of the Hawaiian islands. With direct seasonaloceanfront access from the house, enjoy sounds and smells from the Puget Sound, passing ships, orca whales, blue heron and bald eagles flying overhead. Relax inside or outside on the large deck which overlooks Sucia, Matia, Patos and Orcas Islands.

The main house offers two bedrooms (one with a king bed, the other a queen bed), a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, kitchen, living and dining room areas. Enjoy walking up and down the beach, turning over rocks and looking for crabs, two single person kayaks and bicycles as well as a number of day trip activities. Birch Bay, Lynden and Ferndale are all in close proximity for a day trip if you are looking to get out of the house. There are also many farms that you can go to and buy fresh produce, fruit, artisan cheese and fish. Don’t forget your passport as the Canadian Border is also just a short trip away.

The home was sparkling clean, modern and airy, while feeling like a comfortable and cozy place to gather with friends and family. We have had stayed in several places in and around Bellingham, and this has become our favorite one! Truly hope that we are able to return and stay here on our future visits to Bellingham."

The panoramic ocean views, overlooking the San Juan Islands, are amazing as soon as you enter the front door. The grand entry, great room, kitchen, dining room and den offer these spectacular views on the main floor. The gourmet kitchen boasts a 48” gas range, farmhouse sink, island with bar sink, walk in butlers pantry and adjoining dining room. The dining room seats 10 people, the island seats 2 people. The master bedroom has its own private balcony, fireplace, tv, sitting area with vaulted ceilings. The Master shower has a large custom shower, deep soaker tub, double sinks, separate make up vanity and water closet. The great room shares a double fireplace with the study/tv room. The study/ tv room has a desk/chair with French doors for privacy. Every bedroom has a view, the back of the house overlooks Mount Baker and a man-made lake. The master and king guest rooms have ocean views. All the bedrooms have room darkening blinds. Three bedroom are located on the upper floor, the master hosts a king bed. There are two guest rooms one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. These two rooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower. The main floor bedroom hosts a double bed and a set of bunks. The main floor bathroom can be locked out to this bedroom. This is a full bathroom with shower only(no tub). Front-load washer and dryer in separate laundry room. The street side deck has morning sun, shaded in the afternoon and evening. The ocean side deck receives afternoon and evening sun, shaded in the mornings. The upper, private master deck gets afternoon and evening sun. We provide all linens, extra towels, beach towels and blankets, Gilchrist and Soames bath amenities and personal amenities you might have forgotten. Coffee, tea, water bottles are provided for your arrival, as well as basic kitchen pantry items will be stocked. If you wish to order your groceries ahead we can make arrangements to have them picked and placed in the home ahead of your arrival time. There are five adult bikes and helmets for our guests to enjoy. We hope your family and friends enjoy the rejuvenation we get from this home. - "My teenage kids haven't ever stayed on a farm before this trip. It was a real treat for us. The farm animals are friendly and entertaining. If you have mobility issues plan to sleep on the sofa bed on the first level. The pullout sofa is comfy and the additional bedding is truly cozy." - "It’s worth coming here for the plethora of birds. The studio is a standalone building on a lovely farm shared by the birds and a couple other housing units. It’s a great size for one or maybe two people. The kitchen/bathroom/laundry are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs, Internet speed is 4g, so you can check email and read the news, but wouldn’t count on being able to take a zoom meeting. There is cell service though. My only complaint is that the bed is aggressively uncomfortable- I think it’s actually just a box spring. Easy fix for the hosts though. Other than that I’d definitely recommend for a peaceful country stay."

Our Airbnb comes with a private room (Tempur-pedic queen-size mattress) and bathroom in the downstairs of our home. This camper is an example of how simply and economically you can live off-grid. The camper is completely home made from an old truck bed trailer, it comes complete with everything you need for a simple stay. This is Glamping, complete with an Outhouse.

The space
This camper is fully off grid. it is heated and suited for year round use . there is a cozy sauna you can use plus you can light fires in the yard fire pit for extra ambiance and warmth.

The camper is built from a ford pickup truck bed. It has one, comfy. full sized queen sized bed. The area outside of the camper is under a large, green canvas tarp which provides a private, dry space to hang out. It also has an outdoor kitchen, which consists of an small propane stove with oven, an antique hutch with small sink with cold running water (collected rainwater, don't drink). It has amazing lighting, decorations, art, etc. it has 2 lawn chairs. All very well thought out.

The space includes basic cooking and eating supplies, towels, and extra sheets/blankets.

The space has access to a nearby outhouse, guests can also use the basement bathroom in the main house. And there is also a bucket style composting toilet available for use at the camper.

you can light a fire in the fire pit too, I provide wood for a small fire.

Simple living at its simplest. This little trailer / camper is all you need. I built it for $1,000. It has rainwater collection and storage, it all runs off of 12 volt lithium ion batteries which are recharged with solar panels, or alternator or plug in. With running water. It's a simple innovative design that provides the basics for living. I like to consider them, my when the shit hits the fan Eco Living PODS. It even has a small fridge.

Horse trailer sauna is amazing. it is shared and you do need to light a fire in the wood stove to heat it up. it includes a bathtub/shower which is great for a cold plunge after a hot sweat (great for body and skin too, and mind - see Wim Hoff Method). you can spray water on the wood stove for a steam bath, or a leave it dry. you get it as hot and steamy as you want.

guests can use the sauna and bath house. All shared, rarely occupied. The sauna especially. maybe used once or twice a week. guests can also make themselves at home and enjoy this 1 acre of semi sustainable homestead.

Registered guests have access to 1 private bedroom, one private sleeping area with a queen bed, 1 private bathroom with a shower, one living room, a fully outfitted kitchen, a shared laundry area, covered patio and 1 acre property including the firepit, Internet, TV, Amazon prime/Netflix, Music, and private driveway. This is not a full house rental. Only the basement and shared spaces listed. Access is for registered guest only. Others not allowed on property without owner’s approval.

I live upstairs with my Golden Retriever, Pippa. This is not a whole home rental.

A peaceful, clean place to get away from it all. We are located in a very quiet area close to cherry point beach, birch bay state park and lake Terrill. The studio is very simple in design, as well as modern decor throughout to make it a relaxing place to stay.

We are a one hour and thirty minute drive to Mt. Baker ski area. Twenty two minute drive to Peace Health St Joes Hospital.

The space
Step away from the fast and busy pace of the city while relaxing on the back patio listing to the birds, frogs and watching the sun set to the west.

The Studio has a doble sized bed and quite patio area to drink your morning coffee, BBQ or just sit back and listen to the birds chirp.

Parking is located directly in front of the unit and along side of the the tall fence. The concrete sidewalk along the west side of the unit leads to the entrance. The driveway is shared with another unit so please DO NOT park in front of the fence and reserved parking sign.

Other things to note
Unfortunately, the studio unit is not a kid friendly space for children under 12. The max capacity for this unit is 1 adult and one child over 12 years old, or two adults.

This charming little cottage is the original farmhouse built in 1920's. The fully updated, modern farmhouse style will help you enjoy this step back in time. Smoking is aloud outside away from doors and windows. We can find a sheltered space during inclement weather.

Located behind the Main Farmhouse. This retired farm is slowly making a recovery. Making changes as funds and weather permits. We have goals of revitalizing each of these tired but well-loved buildings.
We do our best to utilize locally salvaged old growth wood, so the large wood doors are HEAVY. The repurposed wood bathroom vanity, the drawers don't slide well. Exterior doors swing out (popular with outdoor living) however, they can catch wind on blustery days.
We DO NOT provide or allow 'flushable' wipes. Please respect septic limitations and place feminine supplies into trash can provided.

Cozy two bedroom ranch house located outside of the city limits. Step away from the fast and busy pace of the city while relaxing on the back patio listing to the birds, frogs and watching the sun set to the west. This property is located minutes from Cherry Point Beach, Lake Terrill and Birch Bay State Park. 20 minutes to St Joseph Hospitals. The unit has its own washer, dryer, coffee maker, toaster, BBQ, tv, internet, plates, bowls, pots pans, towels, iron and ironing board and much more.

The space
The home has two patios for relaxation and BBQs. Inside, the master bedroom has a full bed. The 2nd bedroom has a bunkbed, single over full bed. The couch may be used as a bed, extra sheets, pillow and blanket for the couch is located in the bedroom closet. Please note: The couch is NOT a pullout (standard 3 person couch). A full size washer and dryer are located in the laundry room. The bathroom has a toilet, single sink vanity and shower stall. There is no bathtub in the unit. A maximum of two vehicles are allowed on the property during your stay. Do not block the shared parking area, park in front of the sign that says reserved parking. There is a tenant who occupies the studio unit and shares this parking area. There is a second vehicle parking spot available for guests. The second vehicle parking spot is located at the front door/entrance of the home. Please review the house manual inside the home for more details on parking.

The home and attached back patio and smaller attached patio's are for guests. Detached unit, patio and BBQ to the west of home may NOT be used by guests as that is a separate unit.

Other things to note
Garbage cans are located at the west side of the home behind the tall fence. Please note that this is not a party home and only paying guest are allowed on the premises. The property is located on a up incoming Christmas tree farm. Field areas and the barn located on the property are off limits to guests. Please note that the home does not have central air conditioning, however window A/C units will be installed in the bedrooms from June 15th-September 3rd.

Conveniently located in between Seattle and Vancouver BC. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish tiny home which was recently constructed out of a previous carport on the back of our 1/3 acre. Our property is located in a neighborhood, at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is generally quiet and calm. The guesthouse and our house share a backyard. We have 2 small kids who love to run around in the backyard and enjoy the fresh air! They go to bed around 7pm though so the evenings will be nice and quiet for you :)

The Nest is set between our barn & a row of pine trees. Inside, cozy and inviting, outside, enjoy a private patio, bbq , fire pit & picnic table for cooking & dining. At night sit by the fire amongst the lights & enjoy the sounds of our farm…with luck an owl! We have meandering chickens & 2 “naughty” goats as well. During berry season, help yourself to raspberries & fresh eggs when our hens are laying. Whether you’re “perched” here for just one night or an extended stay…we welcome you!

The space
Overall space has a laid back quality, it is small yet cozy. Space is decorated minimally with a Bird/Nest theme but not overdone! Main area includes, small kitchen with small double sink, stove top and oven, fridge with small freezer and microwave. Kitchen has plates, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, toaster, hand mixer, wine glasses etc. Also features a coffee bar with Keurig (coffee pods included) below the tv. A Futon couch for seating (& sleeping) and a small table for dining inside. Main bedroom has a queen bed with extra pillows and blankets. Shower, toilet and sink are all located in main bedroom. 2nd bedroom has 2 small bunks. All windows have dual privacy shades and light dimming shades. Private patio has fire pit and seating, bbq and picnic table. Solar lights add a cozy feel.

The space
Our studio guesthouse is situated in the center of Whatcom County. This area of the county is home to many farms, including blueberry, raspberry, and dairy farms...in a phrase, dairies and berries! On clear days, views of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters along with the Canadian mountains are magnificent.

Access is simple via a private/separate driveway to the studio guesthouse. Whether you have one or two vehicles, or even a trailer, we have plenty of easy parking for you.

Sleeping arrangements consist of a comfortable queen-size Murphy bed in addition to a couch which folds out to be a full-size bed.

The beautiful kitchen has a gas stove/oven for cooking, a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig, and a hot water kettle. It is stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware.

The studio guesthouse faces away from the main house towards the west. It is attached to the backside of our shop, and while we do occasionally access the shop, we respect your privacy. Guests have happily found that our guesthouse is a peaceful, quiet space.
