Whether you are visiting the area to hunt, fish, hike, bike, view the elk, or relax in the great outdoors, Spring View provides easy access to it all. Firewood is almost always available in the outdoor fire pit or inside the wood burner.

Our location is our greatest asset. Just a few miles from Benezette, the lodge is situated on the top of a mountain in the heart of the PA elk range. We boast spectacular views and a quiet country setting. Located on 1 acre of land, the property has plenty of room to enjoy. The elk often grace us with their presence, as seen in some of our photos.

Public land hunting, fishing in native and stocked trout streams, hiking, biking, ATV riding, wineries, and elk viewing are just a few activities visitors enjoy. Spring View Lodge is in Jay Township, which has opened its township roads to ATVs. Bring your ATV or side-by-side and ride miles from the cabin (Check Jay Township ATV riding rules for details).

Situated just to the West of Benezette, the lodge is conveniently located in a rural setting with roads maintained year round with easy access. Spring View Lodge is one of few vacation rentals in the area where you can take a short drive to the Elk Viewing Center or Saint Mary’s for shopping, sightseeing, or a nice meal. We are also just minutes from thousands of acres of easily accessible public land.

The Lodge has everything you need (see our list of amenities) for a short or extended stay and is accessible year-round. We've done our best to provide our guests with all the luxuries of home while keeping the rustic theme. We're sure you will enjoy the Amish-built furniture and knotty pine interior. The kitchen is complete with a stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator. The lodge has all the pots, pans, glasses, mugs, dishes, and silverware you need. We even provide linens and towels so you can pack a little lighter. With three bedrooms, two full baths, and two queen-size sleeper sofas, we can easily accommodate groups of up to 8.

Regarding recent concerns surrounding the CoronaVirus, cleanliness is our highest priority. We ask that our guests perform basic tasks upon check out, as outlined in the rental agreement. We employ a cleaning service; our cabins are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly after each guest checkout. Additionally, we make available various disinfecting products for our guests to use, free of charge. These supplies include disinfecting wipes, disinfecting spray, and hand sanitizers. Other supplies that are always available include toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, and a variety of general cleaning supplies. We saw more elk from the roads surrounding the lodge (some VERY close) than at the elk viewing areas. It is an easy drive to St. Mary's, a very nice town that has anything you might need during your trip, including a nice Walmart and several good restaurants. There are lots of wineries all around and one only 2 miles from the lodge. It is also a short trip to Benzette and the Elk Visitor Center. There are lovely rail trails in St. Mary's and Ridgeway, and a great state park with hiking trails and lake swimming at Parker Dam. If you aren't eager to travel, the lodge is a wonderful place to relax. It is spotless and beautiful, a terrific combination of rustic decor with all the modern conveniences. We enjoyed most meals on the screen porch overlooking the wooded back yard frequently visited by deer. We are eager to bring our family back as there is a large lovely finished lower level with 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom with shower, and a rec room with a terrific built-in bar. This property hits the sweet spot of a great accommodation in a perfect location!"

Thank you for considering Bull Hollow Lodge for your PA Wilds Mountain getaway. Bull Hollow is located in the heart of the PA Elk range and is situated on a private 2-acre setting. Seclusion and convenience are Bull Hollow’s two greatest attributes. With no neighbors in sight, you can be guaranteed a quiet, uninterrupted stay and the location is convenient to all of the areas most popular attractions. Centrally located between Saint Mary’s and Benezette, you can be where you want to go quickly.

Entrance to the lodge is directly off of the driveway through the side door. Only 1 step is required to enter the house. The deck was constructed in 2024 and is complete with seating for 6. Camp chairs are available for overflow.

If you have an ATV or UTV, bring it along. We are located in Jay Township where most of the township roads are ATV accessible including Spring Run Road where we are situated. No need to trailer somewhere else to ride, you can ride straight from the cabin.

The Lodge is nicely equipped for a group of up to 8 guests. The main level has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. A King Master, a Queen second and a third with Full over Full Bunks. The basement has an overflow bedroom with a Queen bed and another full bath. Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided so you can pack light.

The main level family room was renovated in the winter of 2023. Flooring, Paint, Pine tongue and groove accent walls and new furniture were all part of the renovation. The family room is also equipped with a 55” Smart TV and we provide a YouTube TV subscription complete with cable and local channels. The WiFi is very reliable and we provide it for free. The fireplace is also functional and available to guests during the winter months. Just off the living room there is also an elevated deck with seating. Great place for morning coffee or evening lounging.

Downstairs, there is a second family room area which also has ample seating and a second 55” TV. This area also has an Air Hockey table.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils you could need. The refrigerator with ice maker is also new as of the fall of 2023. Cooking can be done on the glass top stove, Microwave or right outside the sliding glass door on the gas grill. Propane is included.

Also, just off the deck is a fire ring with cooking rack. Bring your camp chairs and some firewood and enjoy the peace and quiet while you sit around a fire.

Other amenities include a clothes washer and dryer which is available for guest use.

Many guests ask about wildlife viewing opportunities. Although we can’t guarantee it, Bull Hollow has been a great location for Elk, Deer, Turkey and even the occasional Bear. We look forward to having you and will do our best to provide you a vacation to remember.

Bear Den is situated along Route 555 with a large grass yard and hot tub! Less than 5 miles from Benezette! Enjoy the peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania from the hot tub. We are just far enough from the craziness, but close enough to enjoy a short drive to town. This cabin is open year round which makes it perfect for a family getaway, special occasion, hunting or fishing trip! Come here to watch the elk! Bear Den is a great option for those with limited mobility or even wheelchairs. Sleeps up to 7.
The Bear Den is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably and has a hot tub on a covered porch! With an accessibility ramp out front, you enter the cabin into the living room that has a couch, recliner, smart TV, and electric fireplace. Through to the kitchen, you'll find countertop seating at the bar or pull up a chair around our live edge walnut table! The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, spatulas, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Both bedrooms feature king beds with an additional camp bed and the sofa bed being used for extra sleep spaces. Linens and towels are provided!

Welcome to the newest Lodge in the Barr Top Rentals Fleet. We acquired this wonderful location in early August 2022 and it has quickly become a favorite of our many guests since we opened.

This might be the best location for a vacation rental in the entire PA Elk Range. Less than 1 mile from Cross Scenic Overlook, 3.2 mile from Palumbo Lodge, 4 miles from Medix Run and 5 Miles from the Winslow Hill Elk Visitors Center. The lodge is situated on 9 acres, is very private and has a huge yard to enjoy. There are very few places in this remote region where you can be this close to all the main attraction and just 20 minutes from Saint Mary's (In case you forgot anything or just want a different option for dining out). Another benefit to the location is its accessibility year round. The cabin is accessed from a freshly paved and well maintained township road that also welcomes ATV riding.

We provide everything we can think of for your stay. From a fully furnished kitchen to bed linens and bath towels, we try to make your travels as easy as possible. Enjoy the spacious property and giant front and back yard. Bring the baseball gloves, frisbee or whatever you enjoy outdoors. Grill on the deck (we provide the propane) or over a fire in the back yard fire pit. (Sorry, we do not provide firewood).

Cozy up in front of the wood pellet fireplace in the winter months. Wood Pellets for heating can be purchased just about anywhere.

If you have to work while you're on vacation you're in luck. Unlike many places in the elk range, we have access to and provide free unlimited high speed internet. In Fact, we were recently upgraded to Fiber so we have amazing speed for all of your streaming, gaming or remote work needs.

This is the perfect setting for easy access to outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking, or just enjoying nature. The road into the property is well kept; low profile vehicles are welcome. Wilson's Paradise Lodging offers 2 cabins, The Fawn Lodge as you see here and The Hillbilly Hilton also available for booking on VRBO. Wilson's Paradise also offers a one bedroom motel room style rental called The Stone Front, also available on VRBO. The cabins are located on a private road away from the highway. Deer and Bear are often on the premises and occasionally Elk will venture through. Medix Run offers excellent trout fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing. There is also a large creek approx 1/2 mile away from Wilson's Paradise Lodging that is a popular kayak route when there is sufficient water.

Cookware/dishes are available for use in the kitchens, but bring your own spices, cooking oils, coffee, etc. Bottled water is provided, do not drink the tap water.

Welcome to the Eagle's Nest of Rock Hill Cabins. Although it is just a short drive right off of Route 555, we recommend a SUV or truck four wheel drive might help to get here! The last 75 yards of driveway is steep but I do take my car up it regularly. Nestled on the side of the mountain on a very private setting you will get the rest and relaxation you are looking for. Sleeps up to 7, this 40 ft park model has all you need and nothing you don't!
The Eagle's Nest is a 40ft park model with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and large deck! The primary bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bunk. The kitchen is stocked with your basic kitchen essentials. All linens and towels are provided!

Located on a 1 acre lot. Our home has a fully equipped kitchen upstairs with an open kitchen and living room. The living room has a TV and a sectional. The bedroom upstairs has a king bed and there is a bathroom upstairs with a shower and a tub. The bottom entrance has a bathroom with a shower and one bedroom with a bunk bed that has a double bed on the bottom and single on top and a queen bed is in the room also.

May 2025 new trail opens ( trail of dreams) for ATV's within walking distance from camp.

The Stone Front at Wilson's Paradise Lodging LLC located in Medix Run, Benezette Twp, PA. It is a 1-bedroom unit with 1 bathroom. The Stone Front is partitioned off from the owner-occupied main house. There is no doorway between the house and The Stone Front and the only thing shared is the driveway. The Stone Front at Wilson's Paradise is nothing fancy, but it is a cozy retreat to relax and sleep after a day of elk viewing in the heart of the PA Wilds. The space
Northern PA residential setting that sits nicely with the sun angle in a picturesque setting. If you are looking for a "base camp" - this is the place. The location in combination with conveniences of modern life can't be beat. Also a good setup if you are working remotely and want to be able to gallivant to different activities in your free time!

The main portion of the home is constructed in the old "Plank-and-Frame" style that was common prior to stick construction. The way the roof line intersects the ceiling (this was done to save heat) really makes the upstairs unique and feel calming.

Be aware that you are near bars, other residential properties, and that the main route of all traffic in the region is two streets away. Location is key here, but if you are looking for " total peace and quiet/ somewhere to sit and relax" I'd honestly advise that this in not the best place for you.

Public water and sewer - so you will not have to worry about the pitfalls of private systems found in many more remote locations. Public river access (including canoe launch) and access to 1500 acres of public space through the conservancy, is only one minutes away!

All finished living space is yours to enjoy. No attic access. Limited basement acces (Main room of basement only): There is an extra shower if you are muddy or if your dog needs a bath! The water shutoff is near the hot water tank in back left of basement (past the furnace) in event of emergency. Area under porch is off limits as well as under the laundry.

Other things to note
Stay in the yard. No fires - use the grill on the porch. No Smoking in the home! Do not park more than two vehicles directly in front of the property, immediate each side of the hand rail for the steps. Not suitable for persons with disabilities. (ADA, difficulty with steps, etc). The property has steps from the street, at all entrances, and to the bedrooms.

This lovely home is a wonderful get away for families, couples, and groups. The home is close to many scenic attractions such as the Elk Country Visitor Center and Parker Dam State Park. The area is also home to local wineries and breweries. Just a short drive away are more quaint towns and attractions. You’ll love my place because of the beauty, peacefulness, and vintage feel. The yard is great for outdoor play for the kids. This is the place to go to get away from it all - a true respite!

This home is the oldest house in Force and was once the residence of the Force family. The main floor has a kitchen, pantry, living room, and side room. There is a door from the kitchen that leads to the front porch. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Many of the furnishings are vintage which gives it a great vibe. (Please be respectful of their charm and age.) With old houses, heat is inconsistent, so the downstairs is warmer than the bedrooms which can be cold in winter months, but comfy blankets are provided for the bedrooms. In the summer, fans are provided, window a/c units are in the master bedroom and living room, but there is no central a/c.
