Bear Den is situated along Route 555 with a large grass yard and hot tub! Less than 5 miles from Benezette! Enjoy the peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania from the hot tub. We are just far enough from the craziness, but close enough to enjoy a short drive to town. This cabin is open year round which makes it perfect for a family getaway, special occasion, hunting or fishing trip! Come here to watch the elk! Bear Den is a great option for those with limited mobility or even wheelchairs. Sleeps up to 7.
The Bear Den is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably and has a hot tub on a covered porch! With an accessibility ramp out front, you enter the cabin into the living room that has a couch, recliner, smart TV, and electric fireplace. Through to the kitchen, you'll find countertop seating at the bar or pull up a chair around our live edge walnut table! The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, spatulas, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Both bedrooms feature king beds with an additional camp bed and the sofa bed being used for extra sleep spaces. There is also a large creek approx 1/2 mile away from Wilson's Paradise Lodging that is a popular kayak route when there is sufficient water.

Welcome to the Eagle's Nest of Rock Hill Cabins. Although it is just a short drive right off of Route 555, we recommend a SUV or truck four wheel drive might help to get here! The last 75 yards of driveway is steep but I do take my car up it regularly. Nestled on the side of the mountain on a very private setting you will get the rest and relaxation you are looking for. Sleeps up to 7, this 40 ft park model has all you need and nothing you don't!
The Eagle's Nest is a 40ft park model with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and large deck! The primary bedroom features a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bunk. The kitchen is stocked with your basic kitchen essentials. All linens and towels are provided!

The decor is very nice! The kitchen is fully stocked! We were able to cook elaborate and homemade meals. The small town grocery store, Foodliner, is about 5 miles away and they carry your groceries to your car. The scenery was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay! A great place to drink hot chocolate, curl up in a blanket and watch dvds during harsh weather! I have to add this after reading the last review. We never had an issue with the water pressure throughout our stay. The kitchen stove works great! There is a washer and dryer. There aren't pictures of the bedroom..the bed has a pillowtop mattress and is king sized. The bathroom is a nice size. The furniture is comfortable. Overall, we had a great 10 day stay! The Stone Front at Wilson's Paradise Lodging LLC located in Medix Run, Benezette Twp, PA. It is a 1-bedroom unit with 1 bathroom. The Stone Front is partitioned off from the owner-occupied main house. There is no doorway between the house and The Stone Front and the only thing shared is the driveway. The Stone Front at Wilson's Paradise is nothing fancy, but it is a cozy retreat to relax and sleep after a day of elk viewing in the heart of the PA Wilds. There is Wifi, Smart-tv, Refrigerator, Microwave and Propane Grill (propane provided) on the porch. Bedding & Towels provided, you bring everything else including utensils and plates if planning on grilling. There is no kitchen in the unit. The porch is a great place to relax and have a few drinks at the end of a long day.

This property is located in Treasure Lake’s KOA Holiday Camp ground which is open seasonally from May 1 to November 1. The campground features an inground swimming pool and playground in walking distance! While the community offers a ton of activities for the whole family! We complied a list of our top choices!

Community Pool- Head to the pool to enjoy swimming in the large pool with a waterslide. While there you can get quick meals, snacks, or ice cream at Pirate's Cove or enjoy the outdoor poolside movie or the live music (music and movie are 1x/week during summer months only).

Community Beaches- 2 on Treasure Lake and 1 on Bimini Lake.

Little Flipper Lake- Walking on the nature trail around the small lake or fish in this smaller catch and release fishing pond

Golf- Treasure Lake has two golf courses, which both also have small restaurants at the clubhouse for everyone to meet up for a drink or a meal after golfing.

Bilger's rocks - Bilger's Rocks is a super cool natural area in Clearfield County featuring sandstone formations and recreational areas, including caves, cliffs, passageways, climbing routes and more.

Downtown DuBois - There is also the town of Dubois to explore if you're looking for more restaurants, grocery stores, or basic shopping needs.

Getting Around:
Also available is a golf cart rental for $40/per day on the weekdays and $50/per day on the weekend. We supply firewood to the campsite but if you run out no worries! We can bring you another load for just $20,

What to Pack:

We stock all our properties with a starter supply of the basics to get you through your first night or two! In our properties, you will find, a roll of paper towels, dish sponge, two extra trash bags, dishwashing liquid, a Keurig with pods , a small tea selection, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom (since it's RV, it needs to get RV/marine toilet paper so it doesn't clog up the septic system)
We always provide the linens-towels and bedding needed for your stay. Our kitchens are stocked with standard cooking essentials such as pots/pans, baking sheets, silverware, cooking utensils, measuring cups/spoons, and plate ware. If you are looking for something additional, please reach out! We will happily let you know if it is something we can provide for you.

Security:

For your safety as well as the property, properties are equipped with exterior Ring cameras that are capable of recording video and audio. There are also internal sensors to detect temperature and decibel levels.

Basic Rules:

No one wants a bad stay so here are some basic rules to ensure a smooth memorable safe stay:
1. If the number of guests requested is not the same as the actual usage, we have the right to evict and we will report to airbnb. Please be honest about the actual number of guests.

2. Absolutely no usage of the property for "house parties". If the police are ever called by the neighbors, then immediate eviction will take place.

3. Absolutely no smoking (pot included) in the house and if there is evidence of smoking in the house a $350 sanitizing fee will be charged.

4. Quiet Hours 10pm-8am. Please be mindful of your neighbors.

5. We are pet friendly! There is an additional cleaning charge of $50.00 per stay for pets. We just ask that pets remain off of the beds and furniture. An additional $50 fee may be added for excessive pet clean up including shedding on furniture and soil stains.

If you cannot abide these house rules, please do not rent from us. We prefer to rent it to people who would value a nice place to stay

Which was totally ok for us, no need to panic if the dog accidentally scratched the leather seats as they already have some signs of wear! The sleeper sofas were perfect for kids, my parents were going to stay a night and opted for a hotel. The outdoor space was lovely and everyone enjoyed it. The location is on a heavily traveled main road in the campground, everyone will look at you and your site when you are outside. Everyone is very friendly so that’s a plus, but not a lot of privacy. This area of the campground seemed very nice and family oriented, it was quiet by 10:00. Even on the holiday weekend. I was definitely nervous and reminding everyone to be quiet all weekend which got old. Not that we’re noisy but 13 and 8 year old boys are not always quiet! 😉 The owner was prompt to reply to any questions prior to our stay and Steve was always easy to reach for inquiries during our stay."

Our home is a romantic get away in the hills of West-Central Pennsylvania. You will feel at home staying in this cozy salt-box style home in rural PA. Only 6 miles away is beautiful State Park, "Parker Dam". Conveniently located to "The Elk Visitors Center", and "Kinzua Bridge Visitors Center" and several small towns and fishing, hiking and lots of outdoor activity. The home is convenient to I-80 and in route to Penn State Univ. for Penn State Football.

The Queen bed in this large studio apartment is a Select Comfort bed. The will be instructions for the bed remote control beside the bed. There is a private bathroom off the bedroom area. Full kitchen, large living room and dining room off of the kitchen. The space is private and is perfect for vacation, business, short term, or long term rental.

Guest access
The space is private so you will be able to use the kitchen, dining, living areas and the back deck. There is a small grill for grilling on the deck. Please do not use a charcoal grill on the deck if you choose to bring one. For charcoal grilling, please place the grill in the grass area to the left of the driveway. Thank you!
