Bear Den is situated along Route 555 with a large grass yard and hot tub! Less than 5 miles from Benezette! Enjoy the peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania from the hot tub. We are just far enough from the craziness, but close enough to enjoy a short drive to town. This cabin is open year round which makes it perfect for a family getaway, special occasion, hunting or fishing trip! Come here to watch the elk! Bear Den is a great option for those with limited mobility or even wheelchairs. Sleeps up to 7.
The Bear Den is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin that can sleep 7 comfortably and has a hot tub on a covered porch! With an accessibility ramp out front, you enter the cabin into the living room that has a couch, recliner, smart TV, and electric fireplace. Through to the kitchen, you'll find countertop seating at the bar or pull up a chair around our live edge walnut table! The kitchen is stocked with basic kitchen essentials such as pots, pans, spatulas, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. Both bedrooms feature king beds with an additional camp bed and the sofa bed being used for extra sleep spaces. Linens and towels are provided!

Deer and Bear are often on the premises and occasionally Elk will venture through. Medix Run offers excellent trout fishing, hunting and wildlife viewing. There is also a large creek approx 1/2 mile away from Wilson's Paradise Lodging that is a popular kayak route when there is sufficient water.

Cookware/dishes are available for use in the kitchens, but bring your own spices, cooking oils, coffee, etc. Bottled water is provided, do not drink the tap water.
