This is an attached three-bedroom ranch with an eat-in kitchen and Sliders to a 13 x14 deck overlooking the large manicured shared backyard. Ceiling fans in every room,and air conditioning in two .Living Room has a new portable unit. It is a large driveway and large enough for a small boat or trailer to park as well. Covered front porch. Freshly renovated with new paint ,new bedding, brand new chiropractic care grade mattresses, granite counter-top in back bedroom, new kitchen flooring, new ceramic cook-top. Updated kitchen in 2021. Smoke-free and pet-free home. I promise you will have a clean odor free home to call your own during your stay. This is your space and has nothing personal of mine in the closets that you have to work around.... it is all yours to enjoy!!!!

Lots of Lighting in the backyard and lights on the front of the house so if you drive up during the dark the front porch will be lit up for your convenience. If you get in after dark I can have the house lights on for your arrival. I also have night lights in every room so if you wake up and don't know where you are you'll at least be able to see where you are. Feel free to unplug as needed.

Special events like Eastern States Exposition, Six Flags and the new MGM Casino in Springfield would definitely be worth the trip. Also kayaking ,canoeing fishing and tubing on the Farmington River or lake Congamond are quite popular as summer sports. Both just within 15 minutes.

Leaf peeping is exceptional in these Rolling Hills and Valleys, especially a hike to the Heublein Tower this time of year. Many walking trails nearby to explore for hours, such as Maclean Game Refuge, Enders State park, rails to trails, etc.

There is skiing in the winter in New Hartford Barkhamsted area which is only about 20 minutes away at Ski Sundown. I am about halfway between Hartford and Springfield. Rails to Trails is less than a half mile from my house and Eastern States Exposition is about a half an hour. The new MGM Casino is about 25 minutes away.

I do ihave different spectacular garden every year and I have many trellises birdhouses statues and many seating areas outside. Due to the fact that I have a very shy, but obedient dog ( who wont be a bother)and a shared back yard, other dogs are accepted by approval only.

My house is not child proof, so Children under 12 are discouraged. if a special exception is made with prior approval from owner, then they are counted as a person, even infants, which is 25 per person per night.

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to “summer” in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the place where the domestic staff stayed when the family was staying in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, the home once had views of Hartford. Today after lots of trees grew, views are still just a minute away and the cool breezes remain!

Dawn and Ken have refreshed the interior with newly sanded "pumpkin pine" floors and warm, decorator wall tones. There is over 1000 of living space. The bath fixtures are original from the 30s and the huge stone fireplace has propane fired gas logs for cozy winter nights. The large first-floor great room also has a small coffee service, there is NO KITCHEN and we are NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN.

The second-floor bedrooms are spacious and yet very cozy. The home has an English Country House feel with all furnishings provided by Dawn’s painted furniture business: A Girl With A Paintbrush. Flower boxes adorn several windows that overlook an herb and flower garden. The property is accessed by original brick walkways and lead to the private entry door.

Guests will be able to use the entire building with the exception of the garage bays for their private use. A private exterior patio is located out the back door with old patio chairs, benches, and a firepit.

Amenities include freshly laundered soft cotton bedding and towels, bathrobes, hypoallergenic or goose down pillows, cozy sofas, and chairs, comfortable carpeting, and rugs. The linen closet has an ample supply of bar soaps, shampoos, a hair dryer and a first aid box.

Welcome to our property on Congamond's pristine North Pond - just twenty steps off the water! One of three bodies of water that make up the Congamond Lakes, North Pond is a quiet & cozy place, perfect for couples or families looking for a week long or weekend getaway! By day, you'll find boaters lounging and playing on the sandy, uninhabited shores of the far side of North Pond and fishermen/women exploring the water throughout the day. By night, you'll be able to sit on the porch or by the lake enjoying a serene, quiet atmosphere, watching the stars, sitting by the fire bowl and enjoying a drink that you fancy. We have a nice dock with ONE space available for use at no cost - motor boats & non motorized boats are welcome! Jet Skis are not allowed on North Pond per MA law, but can be launched nearby on Middle Pond with ease.

The water is very clean and many people float in tubes right off of the dock, Butter bottom of the lake in our particular area can be pretty mucky. There is a fantastic public beach it’s about a three minute drive away

The neighborhood is welcoming & filled with very friendly lake living neighbors and weekenders. It's a family oriented atmosphere, with many residents living in their current homes for 10, 20, 30+ years.

Our home has three bedrooms - Two queen size beds and one set of bunkbeds & one bathroom, And a finished basement -With a queen size bed. The home would comfortably accommodate a family of 5-6, and could easily accommodate a couple more. Granite counter tops, wide pine hardwood floors, a big leather sectional, and modern amenities fill the home - Keurig with a selection of coffee included, dishwasher, washer/dryer available for use, propane grill, and fire pit. All bedrooms & living room have separate air conditioners as well. Outside on the deck, enjoy time in a screened tent to stay out of the sun yet enjoy the lake.

It's truly a place where you can throw your car keys in the fish bowl and not touch them for a week if you didn't want to. Within walking distance are three fantastic places: Legends of the Lake, a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, - on the water; Nora's Restaurant, a mid to higher end restaurant that overlooks the lake from a nearby hill - a great place to enjoy a nice steak; and Louie B's - a restaurant/bar on the water featuring live music every weekend and rocking back deck.

After a brief communication we were in! When we entered, the house was pretty cold and the heat was apparently off for quite some time. The actual heater was off but was up and running shortly. Our stay occurred in early December, and it seemed as though nobody had been there in some time, which I wouldnt necessarily fault, due to costs of heating these days and what kind of crazy person chooses to visit New England in the winter, aside from us? My wife is from Florida and hates the cold, but the baby seemed fine albeit bundled up for a bit. Luckily there was a pellet stove that helped and the property manager brought more pellets the next day, which definitely helped. After having to open some of the heating vents which were closed in some rooms, the house was warm by that evening. The only other nitpicky part of our stay was that there just happened to be maintenance being performed on the heater that weekend during our stay, and some HVAC professionals came in the next day while we were there to install a hot air blower. They overall did not interfere with our stay and the maintenance was brief. Aside from these issues, the stay was great. Very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The views of the lake were beautiful, especially with the snowfall we ended up getting. The host was VERY responsive and quick to communicate. Our needs and questions were definitely responded to with urgency and haste. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The summertime experience is likely radically different than the winter one we had, but it would not change my overall recommendation that this is a great find and I would definitely stay here again!"

The Loft @ Lost Acres is a modern space located above a farm winery barn. It includes a Kitchen (fully equipped), a Living Room, the Dining area, two Bedrooms and a full Bath. There is a convenient stacked washer & dryer down the hall. The beautiful Maple hardwood floors run throughout the entire space with nine-foot ceilings in most areas and lots of windows that create a bright, cheery environment. Space is furnished with vintage furniture, cozy beds, and comfortable seating.

We are located on a private island with vast, expansive views of Middle Pond on the Congamond lakes. There are 10 houses on island. We have a canoe and 2 kayaks on property. They are kept locked. If used we accept NO liability. They are used with all responsibility on guests.
Our property has a wood burning firepit and also a glass topped, gas firepit on deck.
The house has been freshly painted.
We have a queen size bed with pull out sofa, a full size in another room and bunk beds with 2 full mattresses in the third. linens not included $100 extra fee

We used the kitchen a lot and the bar height table works well for meals as well as several great spaces outside. Lilacs and irises were blooming while we were there - lovely when we had a couple of family members come over for drinks outside. Also enjoyed the game table and great TV setup in the evening. The lake community is friendly and there are some unique finds for food, eat-in and takeout, that are close by. We made the right choice for our stay and would love to come again!"

My husband and I took out the kayaks and went for a beautiful ride on the lake. So peaceful. We ended up driving into Springfield for dinner and the casino which was only 30 min away. Thank you for sharing your home!!" - "Our family enjoyed our time at this rental. We stayed here for two nights. It's a very quaint, clean and nicely decorated cabin. I missed the road entrance initially so know it is the dirt road :) There are 70 steps to walk down to the cabin (and back up to your car) but the view makes up for it. There is a railing to hold on to and a bench about halfway if you need to take a break. It is well stocked with pots/pans/plates/etc. to cook there. There are two air conditioners (master bedroom, living room) and a box fan we used in the 2nd bedroom. The towels are in the master bedroom closet. There are a variety of board games (1st floor) and a wii in the basement/lower level with a nice size TV. There is one bathroom so coordination is important if you have four guests. Check-in and check-out was easy. They sent us an email prior with all the information we needed to check-in/out. They also have a book on the table explaining where to eat, reminder of the wi-fi, restaurants they recommend and other important information which I truly appreciate! We didn't get a chance to check out the kayaks. This is a great location if you plan to attend the Big E--only 25 minutes away. My favorite was enjoying breakfast while overlooking the lake. They have a balcony with a table and chairs too. This truly is a great getaway. Thank you!"

We are located in the beautiful town of West Suffield with easy access to everywhere. Whether you are here for a quiet weekend away, an event at Suffield Academy, a wedding, fall foliage touring, Six Flags or many of the other things this area has to offer, this is the place for you.
This location is part of our home, but our privacy is important, as is yours! You have your own private, locked off, alarmed entrance as you enter into 2000 sq. ft of privacy. You will likely never see us. Your entrance is in the back of the property ours is in the front. We have 3 acres of land. You have a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot and full sink. Enjoy a private bathroom with tub/shower combo and full size washer/dryer. You have a patio to enjoy your morning coffee as well as access to our screened in patio off of your living room with pool table. Plenty of natural light in this space. Feel free to walk our land and enjoy the close proximity of the local park and with walking trails and pond. Canoe available for use if you have ability to transport.

* please note there is no AC in the basement, but it stays very cool, typically on even the hottest day does not reach over 76 degrees inside during the day. Heater in the winter months.

- "This house was unbelievable to stay at. It is huge as it has 6 bedrooms with 7 beds along with a bunk bed. This house could easily fit 12 people comfortably. The house was very updated with all the amenities that you needed. Everything was within a five minute drive and it was a pleasure to have stayed here. The check in and out process was very easy and the host was very easy to get in touch with. We look forward to staying here again next year."

Other things to note
Notes: Both of the two levels of this apartment have low ceilings at 6’6”, and are not suitable for taller folks. Those with mobility issues should also note that the single bathroom is off the kitchen downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs.

Also to note: We are in the country and the country comes with moths, fireflies, ladybugs, and less adorable insects. We take more than one preventative measure to ensure that the rental space is bug free, but it would be impossible to keep this at 100% all of the time. If you live near woods, then this is nothing new, but we don't want anyone to be surprised at the sight of an insect!

You’ll find a double sink for easy clean-up and a variety of kitchen essentials, including wine glasses, whiskey glasses, and Corelle dinnerware for all your dining needs. We've stocked the space with spices, olive oil, and a selection of teas and coffee for your morning routine, complete with a coffee machine and frother. For your cooking and baking pleasure, there’s a toaster, food processor, mixer grinder, and a full set of pots and pans. A microwave is also available for quick and easy meals. A relaxing natural surrounding private home with a 3 room suite to stay and play located on top of the CT Farmington River Valley close to services such as Bradley Airport, business, and entertainment venues. The Hungary Suite in Granby consists of 2 bedrooms (King/Double) full bath with jacuzzi, and a kitchenette/living room with a private entrance. Privacy. Near hiking and biking trails. The suite overlooks the Hungary Brook creating a private resort park feel with your stay.

The space
We are located in Granby, CT at the base of Manitook Mountain in park like property on 4 acres with Gazeebos, a pool, grills, and the Hungary Brook runs through the backyard. Lake Congamond is under a 10 minute drive. Hiking and Bike trails just down the road.

Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the Guest Parking area at the end of the driveway.
Enter from the front walkway to the front steps that is your private entrance to the 3 room suite. There is a welcome table in the foyer. To the left on the first floor is the kitchenette/living area with a kitchen sink, small refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs, coffee maker(Keurig), and sofa for relaxing. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms connected to each other along with each having private doors to the hallway
The master bedroom has a comfy King size bed, large screen TV with Roku access, an adjacent Bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower, walk in closet, hair dryer, an outdoor deck to view the mountainside, property, and pool area from above.
The second bedroom has a Queen size bed with closet storage, a small work desk, and nice full size windows to view the front property and let in the light. It can be accessed from the hall or master bedroom.
All rooms have locks and the master bedroom has a combo turn latch for extra security.

Guests are allowed access to the 33 foot oval above ground pool. The pool is opened from 8am to 10:00pm. Pool chairs and some pool toys will be available.
Please note there are 2 black cats who live on the property and our not allowed in the guest suite.

Guests have access to the gazebo area and use of the charcoal grill there. guests can also use the fire pit for a real camp fire feel with the sound of the brook. The barn and paddock area are currently used for storage and maintenance. The brook and small pond is available for exploring, fishing, or relaxing to the sound of it flowing.

The suite has a private entrance in front of the home. Enter the red door. There is a lockbox on the door knob. The kitchenette/living area is open space to the left. Guests have use to all amenities available in the rooms including coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and balcony.
Outdoors:
Guests have access to the Gazebos, charcoal grill, pool, and brook area. Please be careful and mindful of any lawn maintenance equipment that may be out. Hungary Brook runs through the back area at the property line and fishing is allowed.
The 33 foot oval above ground pool is open to guests from 8am to 10:00pm. No jumping or diving Please!

Parking is at the end of the driveway to the right in the designated guest area which will have a sign. Up to 2 vehicles are allowed in the guest parking area.

Lots of Lighting in the backyard and lights on the front of the house so if you drive up during the dark the front porch will be lit up for your convenience. If you get in after dark I can have the house lights on for your arrival. I also have night lights in every room so if you wake up and don't know where you are you'll at least be able to see where you are. Feel free to unplug as needed.
It is a 3 minute walk to town, property is located off a main road which may result in some noise at peak travel hours.

Access to all parts of the home including laundry area and gameroom in basement, front porch, deck and backyard behind the deck, large parking area in front of home. If more than 3 cars are involved with reservation, I have to direct you how to park ( tandem on lawn )..and need to know in advance, but totally workable !

Check in is a breeze with no key needed, works by electronic code. Check out/ in can be flexible if prearranged. The property has a 42 "smart TV with cox cable, including local channels, prime video TV and hulu for free. Washer and dryer, new appliances, fully stocked kitchen with tons of storage . Complimentary coffee and teas are provided to start your day off. 10 minutes from Bradley Airport. Infants will be an additional 25.00 per night due to wear and tear.

Owners live in the front half of the home and can help with starting a camp fire, guided Chip'N golf tour/play, we can help with the canoe/kayaks and how to work the hot tub. Sunsets on the lake are phenomenal as this is a private lake with no public access. Usually, you're the only one out there.
