The actual suite was huge with a full sized kitchen and huge bathrooms (we stayed in a 2 bdrm). It had all the amenities for us to cook our meals and it was very comfortable for the 6 of us to stay in. My only concern was the lack of communication with the Property Manager (there was none) but I called the hotel and the check in process was very smooth and we didn't have any issues during our stay. From what I read, Kona also has natural disaster issues (fires and a possible volcanic eruption), and I have no interest in Utah. From my understanding those are the only three areas KBM resorts are. The rep admitted their resources on the resort would be limited as the workers are busy focused on their own homes and safety instead of working at the resort. So why not a refund? The airlines gave refunds without hesitation. Something awful happened that was out of everyone’s control. Why hold money hostage that could be donated to the residents or reused immediately for other things? Only answer I can think of is pure greed and disregard for their customer base. In my opinion, to take such a hard lined position of no refund at a time like this is capitalistic greed at its core. "
