- "Great place to stay. " - "My husband and I spent a week at this resort with our two kids, ages 8 and 5. We had an oceanview one bedroom that perfectly fit our needs. Kids slept in living room (one on rollaway and one on sofa sleeper). The room was the quietest we've ever stayed in anywhere (with the doors shut of course). The oceanview was FAB, the kids LOVED the pools and we thought the service to be top notch. Not many restaurant choices, but Ocean Pool Grill was perfect for a few meals anyway. We could nitpick things like other reviewers, but that could be done at any property. Expedia offered an awesome deal that no one else could beat...not even timeshare owners! Would stay there again for sure. Good job Westin!"

The walk there wasn’t too bad, but the walk back up was almost all uphill. The resort itself had some great amenities like full kitchen and had beach chairs and umbrellas which was very nice to have! The room we ended up with was facing a burnt down school with our view being of some shipping containers and the school yard, not a garden view that we booked. Also the first night in my cousin was locked out of her room because her door had a broken lock on it and we were unaware of that. We called their customer service the next day and they were very kind to move us to a better room. The new room was very beautiful and had a great view. The only downside to the new room was we had a cockroach problem. We found 3 dead cockroaches and there was 1 live cockroach running on our patio. Also the noise level was very loud. It’s close to a main road and the walls were very thin. The people above and next to us were very noisy and could hear every movement. I know that’s not the resorts fault, but still something to consider if booking. Overall I would not stay again or really recommend to anyone if they are expecting a 4-5 star stay. "

Update: Fall of 2022 we installed a Grohe hand-held shower head so that parents could more easily wash their children. In the summer of 2021 we added new artwork. In 2019 we installed a new 55” Samsung LED LCD Smart TV! It’s beautiful and has “Dynamic Crystal color”! We also installed a new modern Rohl kitchen faucet, a Rohl bathroom faucet, added new shower hooks, and bought new pans. In 2015 we did some remodeling and have made many changes to our condo including: all walls painted, four new louvered doors, new wood flooring, new chair rail, new sleeper couch with an extra large mattress, and two new bar stools. The furniture has been rearranged so the bed and couch both look directly at the TV. This provides better function and a more open feeling.

The ground floor location of this studio allows for convenient walk-in/walk-out access without the need to wait for an elevator. Just open the lanai sliding doors and you are steps away from the beach, the pool, and the Ka’anapali walkway. The courtyard offers a tranquil setting with tropical plants, a Koi pond with a waterfall, and the swimming pool. In the evening, the Koi pond is lit by romantic torches and lights. From the condo’s lanai, there are magnificent ocean views and the grassy area by the lanai gives the feeling of a private garden. It’s a delightful place to have a morning coffee or evening drink. The inside dining area features a rare one piece 'Bo' wood dining table cut from a single giant tree in Java. This is an art piece in itself. The pool deck has 1100 sq ft of covered porch with two large seating areas of rattan style furniture with cushions galore, located just steps from the expansive pool with a vanishing edge feature that leads to a waterfall that spectacularly drops 11 feet down to a lower pool. - "This property was phenomenal! Pictures look exactly as what it looks like in person. Everything was so clean and organized, and the host provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and ice chests in the condo to use. Our friends were staying in the Royal Lahaina, and this condo was basically on the same property (you just had to make about a mile drive if you are driving since they are not on the same road, but literally 0.2 miles/4-5 minutes if you were walking). It was between Royal Lahaina and this place, and I DEFINITELY don’t regret choosing this place instead. It was 10000x better. The beach was very clean and did not have many people like a traditional hotel/condo does. The host was very polite, and did not bother us at all during our stay and respected our privacy. The shower was very clean, modern, and they leave shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for you to use. The bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows. They have a traditional coffee pot, and the host gives you a bag of Maui coffee (which was delicious). They really made it worry-free and relaxing for you the second you step inside the condo. We will definitely be recommending this place to our family/friends, and hopefully will be able to book this place again in the future when we go back to Maui."

Our condo has a fully stocked kitchen which includes all cookware, utensils, and appliances to prepare a meal at home. Beachside Cabana!
Unique to Maui Eldorado is our private beachfront Cabana exclusively for our guests. We used both sides, all pools, restaurants, etc. but actually preferred that the condo side is a bit quieter and more laidback. We stayed in the Hyatt hotel for two nights and it was very nice, but really glad we spent the majority of the week in this condo - it was more spacious, had more amenities, and was a better deal. The location is great, right on the walking path that leads all the way to the Sheraton (we easily walked there and Whalers Village several times) but the Hyatt end is a little quieter than the middle section near Whalers Village. Highly recommend this place for families - it's perfect!"
