- "Great place to stay. " - "My husband and I spent a week at this resort with our two kids, ages 8 and 5. We had an oceanview one bedroom that perfectly fit our needs. Kids slept in living room (one on rollaway and one on sofa sleeper). The room was the quietest we've ever stayed in anywhere (with the doors shut of course). The oceanview was FAB, the kids LOVED the pools and we thought the service to be top notch. Not many restaurant choices, but Ocean Pool Grill was perfect for a few meals anyway. We could nitpick things like other reviewers, but that could be done at any property. Expedia offered an awesome deal that no one else could beat...not even timeshare owners! Would stay there again for sure. Good job Westin!"

The walk there wasn’t too bad, but the walk back up was almost all uphill. The resort itself had some great amenities like full kitchen and had beach chairs and umbrellas which was very nice to have! The room we ended up with was facing a burnt down school with our view being of some shipping containers and the school yard, not a garden view that we booked. Also the first night in my cousin was locked out of her room because her door had a broken lock on it and we were unaware of that. We called their customer service the next day and they were very kind to move us to a better room. The new room was very beautiful and had a great view. The only downside to the new room was we had a cockroach problem. We found 3 dead cockroaches and there was 1 live cockroach running on our patio. Also the noise level was very loud. It’s close to a main road and the walls were very thin. The people above and next to us were very noisy and could hear every movement. I know that’s not the resorts fault, but still something to consider if booking. Overall I would not stay again or really recommend to anyone if they are expecting a 4-5 star stay. "
