As fall brings with it, cooler temperatures, please know that we pulled the dock at the end of September to avoid bitter cold-water temperatures. You can still fish off the rocks on shore, but winter prohibits us from having the dock in the water year-round.
We have been adding updates and special touches over the last year of owning Al's Place and are continuing to improve this charming, little, old home with a unique floor plan right on the lake. Guests love it and we hope you have a wonderful getaway in our lakeside town during your stay with us, too.

Please understand that this property is on the lake which means applicable wildlife live in the area, including mayfly, spiders, stink bugs, mosquitos and lady bugs. We do use ecofriendly deterrents, but they do take advantage of open doors and enter anyways. We do not provide refunds for bugs unless a professional pest control exterminator determines there to be an inside infestation. We try to understand that our local birdlife needs these critters for their survival.
Fresh air is the best air, and we do our best for all our guests. This is a smoke/vape free property, both inside and outside. We ask that you to take a walk off the property to public property when you participate in this activity. Additional cleaning fees will be imposed on you when additional efforts are necessary to prepare for next guest due to smoking of any kind, including vaping, e-cigarettes.

Tecumseh rental is a beautiful home located on Tecumseh Island's main channel (not a back water channel) with 180 feet of waterfront. It offers a large boat house
with an electrical lift. There is 30 feet additional docking space
along the side channel. Enjoy sunsets down the main channel from the point of this corner lot. A swim ladder is on the point.
This rental has two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each and one full bath. A full size futon bed is available in the living room. Please provide your own queen sheets, blankets, pillows and bath towels. This helps keep our cleaning fee to a minimum of $40 and prevents the owners having to do 3 hours of laundry each stay.
Our house has been completely upgraded with new appliances,
tile flooring, and carpet. The furnished screened porch is a nice place to relax.
The fishing is great off the point of the property.
This house is at the end of a private drive, and off the main island road.

Brand new, renovated, waterfront house on Indian Lake. Perfect getaway that sleeps up to 9 people. Minutes from Mad River Moutain Ski Resort. Spacious open concept with granite countertops. Cranberry’s resort and bar is a whopping 50-yard walk. This house is in a perfect location, about 50 minutes from the Columbus area. Private driveway with 2 car covered port and 4 car private driveway. Space fits most truck/suvs and boat trailers.

Enjoy the beautiful channel and charming neighborhood views from the covered porch. A personal dock extends into the channel that provides a scenic winding path to the open waters of Grand Lake. The location is great for fishing and daytime boat docking. It is in proximity to Windy Point State Park, scenic bike path (2 adult bikes included with rental), numerous lake bars/restaurants, bait shop and marina where you can rent a pontoon. Downtown Celina is a short boat ride across the lake with free day dockage available at the city docks and offers unique shopping and dining experiences. World-famous Eldora Speedway is an easy 20-minute drive south (17 miles). Other local attractions include the Bicycle Museum of America (New Bremen, OH – 15 minutes), Armstrong Air & Space Museum (Wapakoneta, OH – 30 minutes), the historic Miami Erie Canal, and The Shrine of the Holy Relics.
From the porch, the backyard is completely fenced in to protect your precious little ones. (We ask that you leave your pets in good care...They are not permitted on our property.) Relax on the large, comfortable porch and rest at night in the comfortable beds with clean linen that is furnished. The washer and dryer is a handy asset and easy to operate.
The cottage is bright, updated décor, comfortable, fully furnished with an equipped, turn-key kitchen that also includes a coffee bar, microwave, range and a full size fridge. The cottage is an open floor plan with laminate flooring through-out. We are always updating the cottage with project updates, new décor or re-arranging furniture for optimal benefit. There is also a supply of books in the book nook and games for your enjoyment. Corn Hole, giant Jenga and Yard Yahtzee are available for outside activity. The cottage is walking or riding distance from one of the local lake restaurants and also a watering hole that provides weekend, evening entertainment. We have provided two bikes and a tandem if you wish to take advantage of the near-by bike path or a cruise through the local campground and landing streets. We also have twin kayaks (and life jackets) for guest enjoyment.

Looking to take a break from cooking? Three bars/restaurants are just a 10-minute walk away on this golf cart-friendly peninsula. Are you a boater? Our dock is just 0.4 miles (an 8 min walk) away. Directions to the dock will be provided upon your request. There is plenty of room on the property to store your lake toys as well.
Enjoy the benefits of being in the water without the hefty price tag that comes with staying directly on the water. Drive your boat (or rental) to the dock, launch once and keep docked when not in use. Keep your car parked there or drive back to the house and walk (or perhaps ride a golf cart) back and forth to the dock throughout your stay.

A welcoming covered porch leads you in to the Pelican`s Perch, one of our cozy “Key West style” cottages in Boardwalk Village. When you walk in, you are greeted with an airy, fully-furnished, open-concept living space that features a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need to make your meal preparations easy and enjoyable. The living room is the perfect spot to put your feet up and relax after a long day on the lake. You can flip on the Smart TV, sign in to your streaming account and catch up on your favorite shows or movies. Cable & internet is provided. We have also provided you with a variety of games that will keep you entertained even on those rainy afternoons!

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. - "Great location, amenities and very clean" - "If you have traveled to this part of Ohio for just a night or a week you know rentals are hard to find. That is until Paradise Palms Townhomes in Boardwalk Village! This can be a vacation destination. The description posted is spot on. It is a bright spot just outside of Celina. The caveat here is that it was very cold during our stay, but we can only imagine if it was warmer during yours. The accommodations are first class, well appointed and has everything you need. There is so much to do in the little village for both adults and kids. The Boardwalk Grill is just steps away and a delicious place to eat or to grab a drink. We will most definitely try to stay again when we travel here but our fear is it will be so popular, we won’t get a reservation! They are expanding and we can’t wait to see it all once it is complete."

The cottage is a short walk to the Chippawa boat dock and several blocks from the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles. A short drive to many fun destinations at the lake including Froggy's, Acheson's Resort and Tilton Hilton. Rustic two-bedroom cottage with double bed in one room and queen bed in second room. This property is on the end with the front door out to the pool and a side porch with a view of the lake. The house is immaculate, modern and comfortable. We came up just for a night to get away and spent the evening at the bar/restaurant a few steps away with great live music and wonderful people. I would imagine the place would be an absolute blast in the summer, but in the office season it was a quiet, peaceful and perfect place to recharge close to home. I can’t wait to come back."

This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. **The fourth phase of Boardwalk Village is currently under construction. Construction will begin October 2025 and is expected to be finished Summer 2026. This is taking place on the far South end of the property. Do take this into consideration when booking as there will be construction work going on during this time frame from 8am-4pm during the week. The crews will be cognizant of guests staying during this time and will keep noise as minimal as possible while still trying to stay on schedule to completion.

Arrived at 3:51PM - the door was open and many employees were present and sitting around chatting on their cell phones but they declined our entry until exactly 4PM. Arrived a 2nd time at 8:20PM and were told they were closing despite a posted closing of 9PM. They did serve us 1 drink and when we asked for a 2nd, we were told "The manager already left with the $$$". We heard many complaints about the service. Suggestion #2: I don't believe asking your guests to wash, dry & put away the dishes is a great idea particularly from a health safety aspect!"

- "Enjoyed our stay here. Nice little cottage and very clean. Entire pool was 3 ft deep which was perfect for my young children. It was very quiet Sunday to Thursday nights. Friday night was quite loud late into night with music from neighboring bar & grill, air horn being blown, and other guests making noise in pool. Also be aware stairs to loft bedroom are quite steep so don't plan to have anyone elderly or toddlers stay in lofts. Otherwise a great vacation spot! Will stay here again."

There are a couple restaurants in walking distance and a concrete boardwalk to take walks around the lake and a really nice park/playground if you have younger children. We enjoyed taking walks around the lake every morning, and spending time at the pool in the afternoon. We ate out on the patio, read on the porch and played cornhole. The townhouse was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We cooked most of our meals due to food allergies but there were several places we could have eaten within walking distance. We were able to run to the store and the coffee shop. We had trouble checking in but the response from the property manager was quick and fully took care of the issue. It was nice to have the garage to park in and there was plenty of overflow parking for guests. We would highly recommend it!"

We even provided you with a variety of games that will keep you entertained even on those rainy afternoons!
The living room is the perfect spot to put your feet up and relax after a long day on the lake. Celina (voted best hometown in Ohio!) is home to 10,000 residents and Ohio`s largest inland lake, Grand Lake St. Mary’s. It’s a great location for boating, fishing, or taking part in one of Celina’s many summer festivals. You will be within minutes of several local restaurants and Celina’s downtown area, where the west edge of the lake contains a wide boardwalk, suitable for walking or bike riding while enjoying the lakeside view.
Guest parking is available at Boardwalk Village. Everything is within walking, biking or short driving distance. You can even rent a golf cart or bicycle from Helton Lodge Rentals to help get around town!
BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 6. On the main floor, there is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room along with 2 bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen bed.
PARKING: This townhome comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. There is also an attached one-car garage on the lower level of the townhome that you can park in. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. As you walk in from the welcoming covered porch, you are greeted with an airy, fully-furnished, open-concept living space that features a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen which has everything you need from making a fresh morning cup of coffee to a tasty home-cooked meal. The living room is the perfect spot to put your feet up and relax after a long day on the lake. The couch also pulls out to a queen sleeper! You can flip on the Smart TV, sign in to your streaming account and catch up on your favorite shows or movies. We have also provided you with a variety of games that will keep you entertained even on those rainy afternoons! There’s also a half bath conveniently located on the main floor.
Head upstairs where you'll find 2 private bedrooms along with a full bathroom. Both bedrooms are furnished with a king bed. The master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the beautiful views of the pool and lake. All of the bathrooms are stocked with fresh bath linens. You can also rest assured you'll have a pleasant and relaxing night’s sleep on quality linens that are fully laundered between each guest, from sheets to blankets and coverlets.
A washer and dryer are also provided in your unit for your convenience.

Not only is there a refreshing, heated pool right next door at our other cottages, but there is a beautiful, over-sized pool just steps away from your front door that you are welcome to enjoy! Stop by Helton Lodge Rentals, right next door to Boardwalk Village, where you can rent a pontoon, Speedster boat, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, golf carts and bicycles! They are your one-stop-shop to get you around Grand Lake without ever having to get in your car!
Just a few more steps and you're at Boardwalk Grill! We highly recommend having dinner there at least once. You'll get to experience fresh food, hand-crafted cocktails and live music...all lakeside!

Guests do not need to check in at an office or lobby. They will receive a personal door code that will activate at the time of check-in. Boardwalk Village guests will have access to both pools, grilling station, outdoor dining area, and green space. Free parking is also available for guests (parking pass(es) provided in each unit).

BEDS: This unit sleeps up to 6. On the main floor, there is a queen sleeper sofa. Upstairs is where you'll find the master and spare bedrooms, each with a king bed.
PARKING: This house comes with 2 parking passes that are provided inside the unit. There is also an attached one-car garage on the lower level of the house that you can park in. If they are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75/each to replace. No additional parking passes will be given. If additional parking is needed, please contact the host. Parking at BOARDWALK GRILL is prohibited unless you are dining at the restaurant.
POOL: We will provide 6 wristbands in your unit for each guest to access the pool areas. If wristbands are not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $50/each to replace. We also provide a key fob that gains you access to the pool when open. You will be able to access both pools with this key fob. Pool access is for staying guests only.

PETS: This unit is NOT pet friendly. However, we do have select units that are pet friendly at Boardwalk Village – Pelican’s Perch, The Captain, 769 TH, 771 TH, Sandlot, Glistening Gem, and Sunny Shores.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: At Boardwalk Village, we pride ourselves not only on our superb service but the quality of our units as well. With that, a $250 security deposit will show as a pre-authorized/pending charge on your credit card prior to your check-in. This is to cover any broken, stolen, damaged and/or irreplaceable items, and smoking anywhere inside the unit. This pre-authorized/pending charge will fall off of your account if none of the above happen. If the cost of damages exceeds the $250 security deposit, the additional amount will be charged to the card on file.
CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 60 days before arrival, 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival, no refund within 30 days of check-in. This also applies to any reservation date changes. When booking through Airbnb, the cancellation policy is a 50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.
ADDITIONAL BOOKING INFO: You will only be charged 50% of your entire reservation amount upon booking (unless your check-in is within 30 days). The final 50% will be auto-charged 30 days prior to check-in.
BOAT RENTALS: Helton Lodge Boat Rentals is located right here at Boardwalk Village! Helton Lodge offers rentals for pontoon boats, kayaks, paddle boats, golf carts, bicycles and more!
BOAT DOCKS: Dock spaces are available for rent for $25 per each day of your reservation if you are bringing your own boat. If you are renting a boat from Helton Lodge, you do not need to rent a dock as one is already provided.
BOARDWALK GRILL EVENT SPACE: Boardwalk Grill has an ideal rental space to host a variety of events! Enjoy their private upstairs room for FREE with their regular menu if you have a party of 25 people or less. Charges are applied and the catering menu is required with parties over 25. Events include but are not limited to family reunions, bridal/baby showers, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, retirement parties, company gatherings, holiday parties, etc.!
UPPER DECK SPORTS BAR: located within Shipyard Sports and Event Center, just 0.6 miles down the road from Boardwalk Village, offers a golf simulators, full menu and bar that overlooks a fieldhouse where you kids can run and play (if no leagues/tournaments are going on)!
FITNESS CENTER ACCESS FOB: An amazing fitness experience awaits you at Innergy Fitness, located inside Shipyard Sports and Event Center. By purchasing an access fob add-on at check-out, you'll get 24/7 access to top of the line cardio + strength equipment, a dry + infrared sauna, and access to their innovative fitness classes! The cost of the access fob add-on is $5 per fob per night of your reservation, so you are able to access the Innergy Fitness facility throughout your entire reservation. If it is not left in the welcome basket upon check-out, you will be charged a fee of $75 to replace.
BLUE GOOSE SHUTTLE: Hop on the Blue Goose and let it shuttle you to all the local events, bars, restaurants, and shopping locations. The Blue Goose travels on a route throughout Celina but it even offers group event rides if you call in advance. Don’t worry about driving anywhere during your stay at Boardwalk Village!
DREAM DIPPERS: If you're looking for a sweet treat, head on over to Dream Dippers, located right next door at our Boardwalk Marketplace. Their hand-made waffle cones filled with their delicious ice cream is a must have! They also offer milkshakes and coffee for you to enjoy as well!
COCONUT HUT: located in the Boardwalk Marketplace, is open and serving up island vibes, delicious food from the Sub Shack, and tropical drinks, 7 days a week! It's a lively, laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere we've created for guests and locals alike - and we hope you'll come check it out!
This beautiful cottage is a part of our Seasonal Rental Program, which means you can rent this cottage out anytime between May 1st - September 30th. This unit is not available for rent October 1st – April 30th.
**The third phase of Boardwalk Village is currently under construction. This is happening on the South side of the larger pool area. Do take this into consideration when booking as there will be construction work going on during the hours of 8am-4pm during the week. This is a small and cozy studio/efficiency apartment, with many updates, off-street assigned parking, laundry facility on-site, and a private entrance. This unit is perfect for a guest or couple just passing through, visiting someone nearby, or needing a place while working in the area. Work or pleasure, you will be comfy in this little unit. Located 1/4 mile from I-75, four miles to Lima, across from a neighborhood restaurant, and close to quaint Cridersville.

The space
As you step inside our cottage, you'll be greeted by a cozy living space adorned with comfortable furnishings.
Each bedroom has a queen size bed, TV, and storage.
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need and outside you will find a grill, patio set, hammock, and fire pit in the backyard.
If your time with us requires remote work, we have just the space for you at our corner desk.
Outside you will be surrounded by the great outdoors. Take leisurely strolls along the nearby trails or wander over to the marina to fish and watch the boats. All within walking distance!
Just a short drive away is Old Field Beach, local shops, many restaurants, and Brown Bean coffee shop. A little further is quaint downtown Bellefontaine, full of antique shops and unique boutiques.
If work purposes brings you to the area, we are conveniently located between Lima and Bellefontaine, perfect for traveling nurses at Mary Rutan, Lima Memorial, or Mercy Health.

Quiet downstairs room for traveling workers. This room is in a shared space home it is private and in the basement away from the other rooms. The room has a door lock on door, mini fridge, dresser, luggage bench and smart tv. Upstairs there is a fully stocked kitchen, living room and bathroom. Everything is yours to use in the house. A cleaning lady comes once a month to keep everything looking great. We ask that all guests pick up after themselves and respect others in the house.

If your here on a business trip my home will be relaxing atmosphere to relax in the evening. Quite space available if need to finish some work in the evening. Share kitchen but private refrigerator for your food. Relaxing deck with quiet neighborhood. Nice area to walk as home on a culdesac so low traffic.
