This 900 square foot apartment was fully renovated in September of 2020 It is located on the river side and is a walkout basement apartment in a property with the separate upstairs being another rental unit on the coast of Groton with a view of the Thames River right out the front window!

The apartment features modern furnishings and appliances, vinyl floors, 2 wall-mounted TV's, air conditioner, 2 queen beds, in the bedroom, and one queen in the living room, and a air mattress

The kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave along with all of the necessary dishes, glassware and utensils you will need. The kitchen is also appointed with counter top appliances such as a toaster, coffee machine, rice cooker, and a stir fry steamer.

Clean linens and towels, coffee, tea, soap, shampoo and paper products are provided to all guests.

This in law unit has another VRBO unit upstairs. We ask that all guests enjoy themselves but be respectful of their neighbors. We have taken as many sound-proofing measures as possible between floors and units, but noise may occasionally be heard as in any multi-unit building. Private 2 bedroom apartment in a quiet residential neighborhood on the third floor of my home.
Comfortable for several people with a full kitchen and large living space in addition to 2 spacious bedrooms and one bathroom. There’s a little over 900 square feet of space. The back bedroom has a queen size bed with lots of room to spare. The front room has a queen size bed and a full size bed. The couch in the living room is super comfy for sleeping and the queen size air mattress will fit in either bedroom or even the living room. So you could fit up to 8 people if you really wanted to. We regularly host 6 people and everyone has been happy.

- "We rent a house for a family gathering each year. When I asked my wife and children to compare this year’s rental, they all agreed that this year was at the top of the list. The house itself was so comfortable, and the location was ideal. We took advantage of the proximity of the beach, the opportunity to rent kayaks, and the varied activities of the Mystic Seaport and aquarium. The rental house was in excellent condition, and the owner supplied everything that we needed to make our trip successful. She responded quickly to any questions that we had. One thing that renters should know is that there are strict rules about outdoor gatherings in the evenings. This was not a major problem for us, but if you want to sit around the campfire, be forewarned that you are expected to be inside the house no later than 9:00 PM. All in all, this was a great house in a great location."
