There are 2 outdoor showers, a large patio with a Weber grill and patio furniture to relax on. We have at your disposal, 14 beach bikes, beach chairs & umbrellas. The house is conveniently located midway between the beach and downtown shopping in Manasquan. Beach passes are included. The home has been professionally decorated. This house is open, spacious and very clean. All our visitors return. We have added a fifth bedroom with a vaulted ceiling & a half bath.

This cottage is close enough to the beach that you will walk back for a drink or to use the bathroom! When we had infants the convenience to walk back to change a diaper or get a fresh bottle was the best thing about it. You will love the cedar outdoor shower, the classic pine floors, the under-counter ice machine, central air, and stainless steel grill, and outdoor deck that catches the last of the setting sun. This house is truly the perfect beach cottage - the pictures tell the story!

It was the perfect size for my family of 5. Communication was easy and Marilyn is a great host. The house has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The washer/dryer was key and we used it daily. There are air conditioning units in each room and 2 smart tvs. Marilyn provided us with beach passes for our whole family so that saved us $40 a day! Getting to the beach was easy and only a minute walk. It’s also close to shopping and restaurants, also walkable. Other Things to Note:
Our unit is on the top level. To enter, you simply walk to the front door to on right of the building. Punch in the code and walk up the stairs to unit 2.

All supplies are provided in moderation; the number of each supply on-site is what we provide, and you may need to purchase more for the duration of your stay. If you want additional supplies during your stay, you will be responsible for bringing or obtaining extra.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster, blender, pots and pans, mixing bowls, salt & pepper, coffee maker and filters etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, utensils etc.

**We also do not provide beach essentials such as beach chairs, towels, or umbrellas.

HOUSE RULES:
A copy of the house rules are posted at each home. Failure to comply with the house rules may result in immediate eviction without refund:

GENERAL:
Quiet time is from 10:00PM to 7:00AM every day. Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep music, loud voices, and shenanigans down to a minimum!
No prom groups
No bachelor parties
No more than 4 guests (You CANNOT allow anyone outside of the booking party to stay at the house.)
No smoking; If ANY sign of smoking is found in the home, the security deposit is automatically forfeited along with additional cleaning costs to be incurred by the renter.
If we are made aware that there are more guests than the agreed upon number, guests will be immediately subject to eviction.

SMOKING POLICY:
Our home is non-smoking. If smoking outside, please smoke away from the house, not on the deck or patios. Cigarette butts need to be kept in a container and disposed of properly. There will be a $100 charge for any butts found outside on the ground that the cleaners have to pick up and a $200 charge for evidence of smoking inside our home.

PET POLICY:
We do not allow pets here, sorry! There will be a $300 fee for failure to notify us of a pet present in the property.

CLEANING POLICY:
If any excessive cleaning is needed subsequent to your departure (stained rugs, clogged sinks, excessive pet shed/mess, excessive garbage left around the home, stench, etc) There will be an excessive cleaning fee of up to $700 depending on the offense.

CHECK-IN:
Check in time is 4:00 pm. You may request an early check in 48 hours before your arrival. No early check-ins between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Upon arrival please inspect the house carefully and report any unsatisfactory condition to the rental manager immediately. Failure to report means you accept the house “as is”. To report any items please contact us immediately with any issues.

CHECK OUT:
Check out time is strictly 10:00 am. We allow late checkouts for a $125 fee. Failure to pay this fee with a late check out will result in an automatic charge of 1 extra day stay (amount differs per property but is a minimum of $125.00). If housekeeping arrives prior to your departure and has to leave and come back there will be an automatic charge of $100.

- "The property is exactly as described. Looks like it has been newly renovated with new furniture. The beds are comfy, a nice welcome for a restful sleep after being outdoors on the beach all day. The kitchen is fully stocked as is the coffee machine. Also, included some tea options which was a perfect way to warm up after walking the beach. The hosts are very responsive to questions and very accommodating, before and during the stay, even provided an outdoor grill in the off season. We did not end up grilling as it was too cold and windy during our stay. While the unit is steps from the beach there is a house behind the unit that you will need to pass to get to the beach. Once on the beach it is beautiful and restful. Enjoyed our short stay!"

Manasquan Beach is one of the top rated private beaches on the coastline. Access this beach oasis via a 10 second walk to the beach via our private walkway outside the backdoor. This quiet neighborhood combines shore vacation homes, friendly locals and vacationers looking for a peaceful & family oriented getaway. For food and fun when you're done with a long day in the sun, head on over to Gee Gee's for classic American cuisine, Leggets Sand Bar for some live music, or First Ave Pizza for a quick slice - all within waling distance!

Other Things to Note:
Our unit is on the ground level. To enter, you simply walk right to the front door to the left when facing the front. Our back door leads directly to the private walkway onto the beach front and beach!

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster, blender, pots and pans, mixing bowls, salt & pepper, coffee maker and filters etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, utensils etc.

**We also do not provide beach essentials such as beach chairs, towels, or umbrellas.

GENERAL:
Quiet time is from 10:00PM to 7:00AM every day. Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep music, loud voices, and shenanigans down to a minimum!
No prom groups
No bachelor parties
No more than 4 guests (You CANNOT allow anyone outside of the booking party to stay at the house.)
No smoking; If ANY sign of smoking is found in the home, the security deposit is automatically forfeited along with additional cleaning costs to be incurred by the renter.
If we are made aware that there are more guests than the agreed upon number, guests will be immediately subject to eviction.

SMOKING POLICY:
Our home is non-smoking. If smoking outside, please smoke away from the house, not on the deck or patios. Cigarette butts need to be kept in a container and disposed of properly. There will be a $100 charge for any butts found outside on the ground that the cleaners have to pick up and a $200 charge for evidence of smoking inside our home.

PET POLICY:
We do not allow pets here, sorry! There will be a $300 fee for failure to notify us of a pet present in the property.

CLEANING POLICY:
If any excessive cleaning is needed subsequent to your departure (stained rugs, clogged sinks, excessive pet shed/mess, excessive garbage left around the home, stench, etc) There will be an excessive cleaning fee of up to $700 depending on the offense.

CHECK-IN:
Check in time is 4:00 pm. You may request an early check in 48 hours before your arrival. No early check-ins between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Upon arrival please inspect the house carefully and report any unsatisfactory condition to the rental manager immediately. Failure to report means you accept the house “as is”. To report any items please contact us immediately with any issues.

CHECK OUT:
Check out time is strictly 10:00 am. We allow late checkouts for a $125 fee. Failure to pay this fee with a late check out will result in an automatic charge of 1 extra day stay (amount differs per property but is a minimum of $125.00). If housekeeping arrives prior to your departure and has to leave and come back there will be an automatic charge of $100.

We were able to enjoy all of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, and found shopping, banking, laundry services and lots of great restaurants very nearby. We were in NJ during some terrible, stormy weather, where many local areas flooded, which was why it was a good idea to rent a little bit more inland and at a higher elevation. This is a very big deal, when the folks at the beaches start evacuating, you are warm and safe with no need to relocate. I would definitely recommend this rental with one reservation. The apartment is new but the building is old and musty. We have allergies and had a terrible time with all of the mold and mildew- all of our possessions came home smelling musty so be forewarned. Of course, EVERY hotel in the area is older and musty- it's part of being at the shore. The price of this rental and the accommodations available greatly outweigh any inconveniences- just pray for sunnier, dryer weather."

- "We had a lovely stay at this apartment. As a mature couple, we would rather be away from the crowds with some privacy and solitude worked into our vacations. The apartment was pristine and everything very clean and new. The host was very accommodating and communicative. The house is nestled in a wooded area but in a nice neighborhood and a heartbeat away from shopping. The distance to the beaches is very short and very easy. We have accounts to various streaming services like Netflix and Hulu so that was perfect for us. Note that the TV is in the kitchen / living room area, which really is what we prefer rather than having one in the bedroom. The apartment has a separate entrance in the back and has access to a nice porch area with seating for chit chat in the evening. I believe there might have been another renter, but we didn’t even cross paths. We were also able to bike ride around the area, everyone was so friendly! Oh did I mention how comfortable the bed was? We were absolutely delighted to stay in this home. The property is pristine, and the kitchen is equipped with all that a family needs, including the coffee in the cupboard and the complementary bottle of presecco. We had more than enough space to spread out in the open floor plan which was airy and inviting. Loved how the home included touches of Jersey (like Springsteen's memoir which I'd read a while ago and beamed at its display on the mantle along with a book about Squan history), and the decor kept a tasteful balance between the historical character of the home while adding modern touches. The beds and pillows were hotel grade (we slept soundly!) as were the bath towels. It truly was lovely to live like a local for the week. The blue lavender latte at the local coffee shop was just what I needed to dial down and chill on the porch our first day. We enjoy being on the Squan side of the inlet as that has been my husband's fishing spot for years since he was young.Convenience was key too as I was able to take the train into the city to meet up with old friends. Additionally, I appreciated the walkability into town and to the water to get my mindful treks in! Grateful to owner Cristina who was accessible too. Because of the amount of red tape and numerous appeals I was able to rebuild. In October of 2020 moved out the house it was demolished in January of 2021. So many months later I was able to move in January of 2022 when I got my certificate of occupancy

*Dry sinks were typically found in the kitchens and bedrooms of homes in the 19th century and earlier. They were used extensively before the advent of indoor plumbing and were considered to be an indispensable kitchen and bathroom accessory. These sinks were used for everything from washing dishes and vegetables to bathing and shaving. Water for dry sinks washr used sparingly as it had to be carried in from outside.

SMOKING POLICY: Our home is non-smoking. If smoking outside, please smoke away from the house, not on the deck or patios. Cigarette butts need to be kept in a container and disposed of properly. There will be a $100 charge for any butts found outside on the ground that the cleaners have to pick up and a $200 charge for evidence of smoking inside our home.

PET POLICY:
We do not allow pets here, sorry! There will be a $300 fee for failure to notify us of a pet present in the property.

CLEANING POLICY:
If any excessive cleaning is needed subsequent to your departure (stained rugs, clogged sinks, excessive pet shed/mess, excessive garbage left around the home, stench, etc) There will be an excessive cleaning fee of up to $700 depending on the offense.

CHECK-IN:
Check in time is 4:00 pm. You may request an early check in 48 hours before your arrival. No early check-ins between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Upon arrival please inspect the house carefully and report any unsatisfactory condition to the rental manager immediately. Failure to report means you accept the house “as is”. To report any items please contact us immediately with any issues.

CHECK OUT:
Check out time is strictly 10:00 am. We allow late checkouts for a $125 fee. Failure to pay this fee with a late check out will result in an automatic charge of 1 extra day stay (amount differs per property but is a minimum of $125.00). If housekeeping arrives prior to your departure and has to leave and come back there will be an automatic charge of $100.

Victorian Beach House recently renovated to provide all the comforts and conveniences of a beach getaway. Perfectly located in the historic district of Manasquan that provides guests a short walk to downtown's shops & restaurants; a 5-10 minute drive to a variety of beaches; Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake or the popular Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant that offers a variety of family and adult fun. Property has a private large fenced in backyard to enjoy all the pleasures of outdoors.

The home is in the perfect location close to numerous beaches and walking distance to downtown Manasquan.
There are a total of 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is 1 bathroom upstairs that is shared for all 3 bedrooms. There are no master bedrooms with bathrooms. The 4th bed is a sofabed which downstairs in the den. Extra charge for sofabed. There is a bathroom adjacent to the room of the sofabed. The room can be shut off by the french doors for privacy and act as a 4th bedroom. There are sofabed charges for over 6 people in reservation.
There are 2 smart TV’s for wi-fi streaming downstairs.
The property has a large fenced in yard with patio set, grill. and outdoor shower.
Grape vine covered arbor patio for those who prefer the shade.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this is our regular home, we live here year-round and rent it out when we travel. We are a 5 minute walk to main st. Manasquan and 1.5 miles to the beach. All guests (besides children) must be ages 27 and up to book (besides children staying with parents). THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOME. We rent mainly to families or small groups of friends who are responsible and considerate of our house and nearby neighbors. Truly perfect for young families.

Note: the queen mattress in the bedroom with the loft bed above it is usually only set up June, July and August - sometimes it's there in May and sometimes it's there through September - please just ask if it’s set up prior to your stay!

Details on bedrooms: there are 3 bedrooms with a queen size bed, 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (1 full over full bunk bed and 1 twin over twin bunk bed; perfect for kids), and the master with a king size bed. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor with the other 3 on the second floor. All bedrooms have spacious closets with newly painted rooms and refinished floors. The master is very spacious and benefits from a walk-in closet and a master bathroom with a walk-in shower. Master bedroom also has a desk as a working station and a private balcony overlooking the backyard with chairs to relax in. Linens are supplied.

The house has 3.5 bathrooms; one connected to the master, a half bath on the second floor, and the other 2 full bathrooms on the first floor and in the basement.

Living room has a sectional couch with armchair seating as well and a large TV over the fireplace (non functioning for summer). There is a spacious kitchen with ample cabinet space and a separate dining room. Home has wifi and central A/C.

There is a large fenced-in private backyard with a grill and deck. Across the street is a restaurant called "Salty Whale" which is perfect for a casual drink or bite to eat!

Around the corner is Mallard Park with baseball field, basketball court, and a view of the marina.

Beach is a 5-10 minute walk that is ~7 blocks away. Popular bars are also a 5-10 minute walk towards the beach. Downtown area is 10 minute walk going away from the beach with numerous dining options available.

Each of the three bedrooms has brand new queen size beds and all 2.5 bathrooms are brand new as is the kitchen and everything else in this gourgous victotian home with lots of outdoor space including front wrap around pouches and large private backyard with gardens . All this just three houses off the heart of Downtown Manasquan. Only dogs under 20 pounds and they have to be non-shedding and well trained.
