While close to the heart of the city, the cabin has scenic views, lake access and is backed by a large wooded area (so it would not be a surprise to see a family of deer during your stay). You are within minutes of many of the local restaurants, bars as well as retail shops. It is also walking distance to the local beach and water sports rentals.

"Lincoln's Lakeside" has been outfitted with rustic style furnishings to bring you right into the coziness and charm of the Northwoods. The living room features a fireplace as well as large windows that look directly out into Schoolhouse Bay. You also have lake views from both bedrooms. You can be on Lake Minocqua in seconds as your private dock is just steps away (directly across the road). After a day out on the water or around town, wind down on the large lake view patio which features a grill and fire pit with outdoor seating and lighting. This house is versatile and can accommodate parties as large as six, whether looking for a family retreat, fishing trip, golf weekend or getaway with friends. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The backside of the home is on a dead end road which was nice for our kids to play outside. The dock is close to the boat landing so it was super easy to get our boat in and out and to go park our truck right back behind the house before we left on the boat. The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch having our morning coffee. We even had a little chipmunk visitor. There were also deer behind the home and we were lucky enough to see a doe and her two fawn. Check in was super easy and the host was very helpful and responded immediately to my questions. We loved our time there and we would definitely stay again. Thank you to our hosts!"

Some of the best public hunting lands in the state are found in Oneida County. You can find deer, bear, wild turkey, and small game. Local guides are available. The Minocqua area is the hub of the Northwoods. It features supper clubs, shopping, cafes, ice cream stands, outfitters, real lumberjack shows, the oldest amateur ski show, museums, and gaming.

The Minocqua Chain of Lakes consisting of over 5800 acres. Where fishers can try their luck catching northern pike, muskellunge, or large and smallmouth bass, as well as several species of panfish.

Sunset Bay is a family resort resting in a quiet bay on Lake Minocqua - right off Hwy. 51 (some highway noise) and just one-mile south from downtown Minocqua. The convenient location means you are only a short distance from hiking and biking trails, tennis, golf, horseback riding, shopping and fine dining.

The resort features a swimming beach, swim raft, fish cleaning house and plenty of dock space to park your boat (boat rental not included) and trailer for the duration of your stay. The famous Minocqua chain of four lakes is a fisherman's paradise teeming with a variety of fish such as Musky, Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and panfish.

Please note that that this unit is not air-conditioned (window air conditions are not allowed) but equipped with ceiling, table fans and windows.

We do not offer boat rentals, but rentals are available in town. There is not a boat launch on premises, the closest launch is located in town by the Minocqua library.

Our lake house is along the shores of beautiful Lake Kawaguesaga, part of the 6000 acres of the MINOCQUA Chain of lakes. Crystal clear waters, great fishing, boating, water sports, hiking & biking trails directly outside this lakeside retreat. You can spend an entire day boating through this amazing Chain of Lakes which include Kawaguesaga, Minocqua, Mid Lake & Lake Tomahawk.

We provide four bikes, a canoe & kayak for your enjoyment. Our lake house has an indoor wood burning fireplace & an outdoor fire pit with beach chairs. We have a nesting pair of eagles you can watch from the deck, loons, deer, fox walk through our backyard. Nearby water Park, Zipline, golf courses, horse stables & miniature golf course within a few short miles. Walk or bike to town directly outside your door on the bearskin trail which covers 50 miles of beauty through the woods & along lakes.

Our lake house is a second home which we've enjoyed for years with our two daughters. A wonderful area to build great memories with the comforts of home.
The winter season brings the opportunity for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, fat tire biking or just cozy up to the indoor fireplace & relax. - "Had a great stay at the cabin for the week! Cabin is exactly as it says in the description. Location was perfect - it was quiet and relaxing sitting out on the dock or around camp fire. It is right next to the HOA area and dock, but they were all very friendly when over using their designated area. Only downfall is no A/C on the warm summer nights, but we managed with the fans provided. Perfect spot for a summer getaway. Cell service is spotty, but that is normal for the area and was actually great!!"

You can’t bring a boat but could use our row boat and bring your own trolling motor. We provide kayaks, paddle boards and a row boat. You will need to use fireplaces as heat source . We purchased the property a few years ago from Richard Marx the singer.This lake is very fun and very peaceful . 2 dogs are welcome we have a small fenced yard for them

The wildlife is abundant- we saw so many kinds of birds, ducks, several kinds of squirrels, and were visited at our evening campfire by deer and a raccoon. The steps to the lake are lovely and newly done and we enjoyed fishing on the dock where my husband caught sunfish, largemouth and bluegill. They also have a nice collection of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes lakeside along with life jackets in the storage shed. Patricia Lake has no public access so you cannot bring your boat here. It is a quiet lake with no gasoline motors allowed. The inside is newly decorated and just lovely with everything you could need- plenty of fluffy towels and blankets. The kitchen is well stocked too. We stayed in the king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. This rental is close to shopping and restaurants and just minutes from Woodruff and Minocqua. The owner is very accessible and quick to respond. If you want a Northwoods experience with peace and quiet this is it!!"

- "My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the White Pines cabin. The location was perfect for us, it was private enough to be quiet, and convenient enough with quick access to town. The cabin was decorated with a wonderful Minocqua feel. The cabin was clean and in great working order, we had no issues. We will go back to this location in the future. My only suggestion to the owners/rental company would be to provide at least a few life preserves for the row boat that the listing advertises. Or if not, make future renters aware that they are not provide."

- "My family and I had a great time here! The property is in a great spot, walking distance to a lot of places downtown." - "I wish there was a beach for young children. Most disappointing was the condition of the living room furniture. It was too big for the space. They were so worn out that when you sat in them and it was difficult to get out. Need slimmed down furniture that has structure to it. Had to call management company on: light bulbs out, dishwasher not working, the microwave didn’t work all the time and the VRBO site stated that there was coin operated laundry on site. Families did not pack extra clothes for themselves and their children because of this. We were told that the information on the site was incorrect. Not much help when you are already there. There was a nice deck but only one dirty, ugly chair to sit on. Would have been nice to sit out there and take in the view of the lake. It was a good location for young children because of the sand box, flat ground, swing set, etc."

- "Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. The beds are crazy comfortable, bunk room in great condition with lockers and vanity mirrors, showers and bathrooms in perfect shape. There is a huge bar to sit at, and a full kitchen with every appliance you can possibly imagine (including waffle maker, coffee machine, cereal bar, huge fridge/freezer, stove, dishwasher, etc etc). The kids loved the arcade games, ping pong, pool table, and access to a pier for boating and pictures. The Outdoor firepit on the patio overlooking the lake was very fun post dinner. Highly recommend!! The owners are so nice, accommodating, and available to answer any questions."

This is a new house built in 2022.. All appliances are new including a washer and dryer. Everything is on a single level which has hydronic in floor heating. Just minutes from shopping, Gym, and many restaurants. Located in a quiet wooded area with plenty of places to walk or bike. The boat landing less than a mile away with access to the Minocqua chain. I have kayaks and a bike to use. There is access to snowmobile and UTV trails, and a fire pit if you are in the mood for a camp fire.

Fully stocked kitchen along with living room, it also has a cozy breezeway that has a queen futon, small table and chairs, and electric fireplace with a a place to hang your coats. It has a large dock to hang out on, or launch a kayak, fish or soak up the sun. You can also hear music some summer nights from Norwood Pines just across the lake.

The space
Sunset Bay is a family resort resting in a quiet bay on Lake Minocqua - right off Hwy. 51 (some highway noise) and just one-mile south from downtown Minocqua. The convenient location means you are only a short distance from hiking and biking trails, tennis, golf, horseback riding, shopping and fine dining.

The resort features a swimming beach, swim raft, fish cleaning house and plenty of dock space to park your boat (boat rental not included) and trailer for the duration of your stay. The famous Minocqua chain of four lakes is a fisherman's paradise teeming with a variety of fish such as Musky, Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and panfish.

Please note that that this unit is not air-conditioned (window air conditions are not allowed) but equipped with ceiling, table fans and windows.

We do not offer boat rentals, but rentals are available in town. There is not a boat launch on premises, the closest launch is located in town by the Minocqua library.

We do welcome smaller dogs breeds (pet fee applies), please forward the breed of your dog prior to booking for approval.

The space
The Space: The main floor offers an open floor plan with double patio doors off the living room leading to the expansive deck area. There are two upstairs bedrooms with fabulous northwoods decor. The finished basement offers a custom bar area in the rec room (complete SMART TV and board games). Additionally, there is a third bedroom with two full sized beds plus a bonus room!

The outside space-Our tree lined driveway welcomes you to the northwoods and perfectly sets the scene for a relaxing time. The open lakeside yard is perfect for yard games and enjoying the sun. The paved fire pit area is the perfect space to enjoy an evening fire. Fish right from the dock on this NO PUBLIC access lake. (No public access means you can NOT launch your own boat on this lake. There are several lakes very close by that so offer public boat launches, should you wish to.) You will have access to our canoe, kayaks and paddle boat. Lots of pan fish, northern and musky to be caught.

The four-wheeler and snowmobile trail are nearby, and our driveway has plenty of space to park a trailer! The Minocqua Winter Park is about 10 minutes away too!

Forgot something at home??!! No worries, Walmart, Triggs and the town of Minocqua are a short 10 minute ride.p

The space
Upon entry you will see the washer and dryer on each side of you. You will next enter the kitchen/dining area. Taking a right out of the kitchen, the property opens up into a nice sized living room and den off of the living room. Down the hall, you will find the bathroom on your right and the two bedrooms.

The outside features a picnic table, outdoor table and chairs, two fire pits and stairs that lead to the dock (both of which were updated in 2023). The property features kayaks, paddle boards, lawn games and food for the deer and birds.

The property is in close proximity to recreational trails for snowmobiling and ATV riding

Paddle Inn on Buckskin Lake

A whimsical woodland stay awaits you on the shoreline of Buckskin Lake. Ideal for a cozy family or friend retreat, Paddle Inn is nestled near an abundance of fun outdoor recreation hotspots! Within short driving distance, explore downtown Minocqua and Lac du Flambeau, Minocqua Winter Park for silent winter sports, and Lake of the Torches Casino. Numerous snowmobile and UTV trails are nestled near the cabin and a public boat launch is just a mile down the road. Right in the cabin's backyard, enjoy having access to a patio, pier, dock (perfect for fishing), and kayaks. Dock is available from late May to October 1st.

Under vaulted ceilings, the interior of Paddle Inn is a place of pure peace. The living room's wood-burning fireplace and smart TV make the perfect combination for evening movie viewings. THIS IS A 9 CHAIN LAKE AND THE CASINO CAN BE ACCESSED BY THE WATER , AND HAS GREAT FISHING, THE BOAT LANDING IS ONLY 2 MILES AWAY SO NICE AND CLOSE , IN THE WINTER THE SNOWMOBILE TRAILS ARE VERY CLOSE AND ONCE AGAIN ICE FISHING IS GREAT . AT NIGHT HAVE A CAMP FIRE AND RELAX , MANY RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA.
