While close to the heart of the city, the cabin has scenic views, lake access and is backed by a large wooded area (so it would not be a surprise to see a family of deer during your stay). You are within minutes of many of the local restaurants, bars as well as retail shops. It is also walking distance to the local beach and water sports rentals.

"Lincoln's Lakeside" has been outfitted with rustic style furnishings to bring you right into the coziness and charm of the Northwoods. You can be on Lake Minocqua in seconds as your private dock is just steps away (directly across the road). The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The backside of the home is on a dead end road which was nice for our kids to play outside. The dock is close to the boat landing so it was super easy to get our boat in and out and to go park our truck right back behind the house before we left on the boat. The view was amazing and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch having our morning coffee. We even had a little chipmunk visitor. There were also deer behind the home and we were lucky enough to see a doe and her two fawn. Check in was super easy and the host was very helpful and responded immediately to my questions. We loved our time there and we would definitely stay again. Thank you to our hosts!"

Some of the best public hunting lands in the state are found in Oneida County. You can find deer, bear, wild turkey, and small game. Local guides are available. The Minocqua area is the hub of the Northwoods. It features supper clubs, shopping, cafes, ice cream stands, outfitters, real lumberjack shows, the oldest amateur ski show, museums, and gaming.

The Minocqua Chain of Lakes consisting of over 5800 acres. Where fishers can try their luck catching northern pike, muskellunge, or large and smallmouth bass, as well as several species of panfish.

Sunset Bay is a family resort resting in a quiet bay on Lake Minocqua - right off Hwy. 51 (some highway noise) and just one-mile south from downtown Minocqua. The convenient location means you are only a short distance from hiking and biking trails, tennis, golf, horseback riding, shopping and fine dining.

The resort features a swimming beach, swim raft, fish cleaning house and plenty of dock space to park your boat (boat rental not included) and trailer for the duration of your stay. The famous Minocqua chain of four lakes is a fisherman's paradise teeming with a variety of fish such as Musky, Walleye, Bass, Northern Pike and panfish.

Please note that that this unit is not air-conditioned (window air conditions are not allowed) but equipped with ceiling, table fans and windows.

We do not offer boat rentals, but rentals are available in town. There is not a boat launch on premises, the closest launch is located in town by the Minocqua library.

Crystal clear waters, great fishing, boating, water sports, hiking & biking trails directly outside this lakeside retreat. You can spend an entire day boating through this amazing Chain of Lakes which include Kawaguesaga, Minocqua, Mid Lake & Lake Tomahawk.

We provide four bikes, a canoe & kayak for your enjoyment. Our lake house has an indoor wood burning fireplace & an outdoor fire pit with beach chairs. We have a nesting pair of eagles you can watch from the deck, loons, deer, fox walk through our backyard. Nearby water Park, Zipline, golf courses, horse stables & miniature golf course within a few short miles. Walk or bike to town directly outside your door on the bearskin trail which covers 50 miles of beauty through the woods & along lakes.

Our lake house is a second home which we've enjoyed for years with our two daughters. A wonderful area to build great memories with the comforts of home.
The winter season brings the opportunity for snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing, fat tire biking or just cozy up to the indoor fireplace & relax. - "Had a great stay at the cabin for the week! Cabin is exactly as it says in the description. Location was perfect - it was quiet and relaxing sitting out on the dock or around camp fire. It is right next to the HOA area and dock, but they were all very friendly when over using their designated area. Only downfall is no A/C on the warm summer nights, but we managed with the fans provided. Perfect spot for a summer getaway. Cell service is spotty, but that is normal for the area and was actually great!!"

You can’t bring a boat but could use our row boat and bring your own trolling motor. We provide kayaks, paddle boards and a row boat. You will need to use fireplaces as heat source . We purchased the property a few years ago from Richard Marx the singer.This lake is very fun and very peaceful . 2 dogs are welcome we have a small fenced yard for them

This cabin was everything we needed- we loved the rainy Friday eve listening to vinyl records on the old turn table. The location was perfect; have to try Northfolk Fin & Filet for dinner. Owner was very communicative and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Def would book again!"
