- "Jean and Mike were wonderful hosts. The warmth of their personalities matches the charm of their historic home. We stayed in the Cayuga room, which has high ceilings and a modest amount of natural light. The furniture arrangement felt slightly... a desk or other table surface where one could write or work on the computer would go a long way. Brunch was delicious and generous. The hosts have excellent knowledge of the area and positive relationships with local businesses, so we made use of several of their vintner dicounts. Please note that guest rooms are accessed throughout the stay, and if you would prefer not to return to your room to find your personal items rearranged and moved, you may need to let the hosts know. The only factor that slightly detracted from our stay was the level of cleanliness. In additon to leak residue on the ceilings, debris around the edges of the room, spills on the carpet, and long-dead bugs, we also found used hair ties and water bottle caps on our bedroom floor in front of the chairs, indicating that the room isn’t thoroughly vacuumed between guests. Overall the stay was comfotable, and we were well atrended to throughout our stay. We hope to be back some day!"

Windgarth House has offered year-round hospitality in the heart of the Finger Lakes for 17 years. We rent this beautiful lake house by the week from Sunday to Sunday during the summer (late June until Labor Day) or for shorter stays the rest of the year (2 night minimum).

The house is on a quiet, well-maintained road, with easy access to the house: only four steps and you are inside! Lake access is equally easy. Just go down the internal staircase in the home, walk out the back door across a beautiful lawn with mature shade trees and the lake is right there. There are no cliff or staircases to navigate, as is common in other locations on Cayuga Lake. Or walk around the side of the house on a gently sloping lawn on one side, or just eight steps on the other side. There are no stairs and no road between the house and lake, as is common elsewhere on Cayuga Lake. The house is located on a cove near Sheldrake Point. The water is shallow at the shore and gradually becomes deeper along the dock, to about four feet at the end of the dock. It is ideal for wading and swimming for children of all ages and adults. We provide a canoe and kayak, life jackets and other water toys for our guests' use.
The house has free Wifi. There is central air conditioning and an additional Mitsubishi air conditioning unit in the downstairs living room/kitchen. In the fall, spring and winter, the house is heated with a forced air furnace and the heat/AC unit in the downstairs living area. A gas fireplace adds additional warmth in the downstairs kitchen/living room.

The house consists of two floors. Upstairs there is a full kitchen with a cafe table, a living/dining room with two sleeper sofas, a full bathroom, a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms and the living/diving room have views of the lake.

Downstairs, there is a queen bedroom, a full bathroom, a kitchen/living area with twelve windows overlooking the lake and a gas fireplace for colder times of the year, and recreation room with a 42" Smart TV for watching DVD's. The utility room has a washer and dryer for our guests' use.

Windgarth House sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, and up to another 4 on one of the sleeper sofas upstairs or two inflatable full-size mattresses that you can place in the location of your choice.

Windgarth House is located on the west shore of Cayuga Lake, across the road from the Sheldrake Point Winery and Cafe. Only 12 miles from Taughannock Falls State Park, 10 miles from Trumansburg and 20 miles from Ithaca, it is nestled in a prime location.

The area around Windgarth House is ideal for long walks along the lake and biking. There are many hiking opportunities in the area, including at Taughannock Falls State Park.

- "Beautiful cottage property with all the amenities one could ask for. Plenty of cooking equipment and pantry essentials already there. Has a well system from lake, so we used bottled water for everything, mainly because a member of our group is pregnant. Wi-fi worked great for those of us working remotely. We did have to fix the BBQ handle to use it but it wasn’t a big deal. Location is great, easy to get all over the Finger Lakes. the weather didn’t cooperate much but we were able to use the canoe and kayak a few days. The gardens and yard were just so pretty…I have landscape envy. Communication with owner was easy and she was kind enough to give us some tips on where we could take the 2 elderly ladies in our party to view waterfalls. She also gave us great info on where to shop for food and necessities. Overall, highly recommended for a group stay in the Finger Lakes."

The home has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and is located on the west side of Cayuga Lake, minutes from Seneca Falls (13 miles) and Ithaca (25 miles). It is close to the wineries on both Cayuga and Seneca Lake. Built in 1993, it has all the modern conveniences necessary for an enjoyable stay.

The lodge is based on a very spacious open floor plan with soaring cathedral ceilings, ample natural lighting and completely furnished. Sleeping accommodations include 3 bedrooms with queen beds, a loft with two single beds and 2 sleeper sofas which can be used if additional sleeping accommodations are needed. There are two full bathrooms and 2 fully equipped kitchens (1 includes a dishwasher). For eating accommodations there is a large dining table for 10, a smaller dining table for 6 and another table for 4. Two spacious living rooms come equipped with comfy couches along with 55 and 42 inch smart tv's.

A lake side deck has a comfortable wrought iron table and chairs with a barbeque grill. Additionally, there is a screened in covered porch with a love seat for those romantic moments.

A swing set and basketball hoop will provide hours of enjoyment if youngsters are in your party.

A short and enjoyable walk away is the Whitlock / VanRiper Nature Preserve managed by the Finger Lakes Land Trust. This preserve is comprised of 81 acres, well maintained hiking trails and a true rarity of 1,900 feet of undeveloped shoreline.

Cell phone reception is excellent. Wireless internet is available. There are 55" and 42" smart televisions with access to the internet as well as a DVD player with a small movie library available. A variety of board games are available.

Smoking is prohibited inside and around the house. Conservative use of the septic system, water supply and electricity is appreciated. Although the house is not child-proof, children are welcome. No pets allowed.

Occupancy is limited to 12 maximum on the property.

Our location is convenient to both Cayuga and Seneca Lake Wine, Cheese, and Art Trails. Owner lives close by to assist with all your needs. - "Thus far the experience has been great. The cottage is quaint, cozy, clean and has a kitchen that carries most of what is needed. Very quiet and a great getaway if you are looking just to slow down the pace. Downstairs bed is very comfortable. TV in living room is equipped with all the apps. The grocery store in Ovid is very meh but it is close; however, there are Wegmans stores in nearby Geneva and Auburn and they are PHENOMENAL (on par with or exceeding Heinen's in Ohio or Publix in Florida). Not alot of sit down food options nearby; again, you may need to travel to Geneva, Trumansburg, Ithaca, Watkins Glen etc for more dine-in options. Make sure to check out the Samich shop in Ovid on 96 across from the gas station. Phenomenal meat ball subs and lunch fare. Overall, I would rate this 5/5 thus far."

It is located near many wineries, breweries, and cider houses that run along the lake. It is about a 20 min. drive to Seneca Falls, where there are nice restaurants, grocery stores, etc. It is also about the same distance from very scenic waterfalls and hiking trails. On the south end of the lake is Ithaca, if you are looking for more of a college town feel. An added bonus for us was that we were able to use the garage to park our large fishing kayaks and trailer (this may not be an option for every visit based on available room in the garage, which the campground managers use for storage). You are not able to park cars in the garage, but their was ample parking in the driveway. Lynn and the managers of the property were responsive and made the check-in process very easy. We would recommend this stay for a small family or two couples away on a retreat. We will definitely look to rent this property again should we be in the Finger Lakes."

The House:
This stunning 3-level Contemporary Colonial Home is right on the water and has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.. An upscale luxury home that provides everything you will need for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. Every level has a lake view that won't disappoint.

Top level features a gorgeous Master bedroom with a King-size bed, spacious on-suite, soaking tub with a lake view, water closet, coffee/wine station, desk/work area and private balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee or sip some wine in the evening and take in all that lake life has to offer.

Middle level features a comfortable living area with a vaulted ceiling and open floor plan. The living room has a sectional sofa, 65" tv and a 2-story stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals with ease. The dining area has a bay window and gives you exceptional views of the lake while you dine. The table comfortably seats eight and the island has three stools. There are two bedrooms on this level; one bedroom features a Queen-size bed and the second has a Twin-size bed and a twin trundle bed. Each room has a tv and they share a full size bathroom. This level also includes a spectacular wrap-around porch. There is plenty of seating, including a daybed. Peek around the corner and you will see a gas grill available.

Lower level suite features a private bedroom with a Queen-size bed including a tv and DVD player, kitchen area, kitchen table, living area with tv, full-size sofa-sleeper, full bathroom and laundry room.

The Game Room:
The garage has been transformed into a brand new game room. Grab a partner and play pool, ping pong, air hockey, bubble hockey, foosball, darts or shuffleboard. Take a bike ride on one of the four bicycles provided. A refrigerator/freezer is also available to keep your drinks cold.

The Backyard:
Lounge on the 125' of lakefront property or hang out on the dock with lots of seating provided. An indoor storage area has everything you will need: floaties, coolers, outdoor entertaining trays, drink buckets, beach towels, children's activities, grill accessories, life jackets and many games. The stone patio area offers a large outdoor dining area with market umbrellas, custom stone gas grill and custom stone gas fire table. Not enough? There are many places to relax: lounge chairs, hammock or the Adirondack chairs surrounding the firepit. You can also bring your boat or jet ski on vacation (let me know if you intend to bring a boat or jet ski). Tie up on the dock or use the lifts.

Still want more? All this is on the East side of the lake in Ovid, where there is a panoramic view of every sunset.

The Destinations:
Your lakeside retreat is located in the heart of wine country. You'll be surrounded by wineries, breweries and cideries. Need more activities? Sampson State Park offers biking trails, hiking, swimming, a playground, arcade, movies, pontoon rentals, boat launch and boat trailer storage. They also have live music and a food truck every Friday evening. There is a walking/biking trail to Sampson State Park just past the house at the end of the road. Try your luck at Del Lago Resort/Casino. Spend the day shopping at Waterloo Premier Outlets. Bring your golf clubs and play at Bonavista State Golf Course. Don't forget all that Taughannock State Park has to offer: waterfalls, gorge trails, swimming and hiking. Ovid also has many fruit and vegetable stands. Ithaca, Watkins Glen and Geneva are only a half hour away and offer festivals, boat cruises, night life, shopping and restaurants.

- "This cottage was perfect for our needs. Location was good for traveling to all the lakes. The house was well equipped with all the necessities and was very clean. So neat this was a former church which is now soon to be three cottages. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening with our friends. If you own a boat or watercraft, there is a boat launch just down the street so you can enjoy being on the waters of Cayuga Lake.

Also, just down the street, you can board a boat for the “Water to Wine” tour which takes to you to wineries located on Cayuga Lake. If you would rather go by car, hire the “Main St. Driver”, a chauffeur who uses your car to take you to any of the more than 200 Finger Lakes wineries and brings you home safely.

A short drive can also take you to the famous Lively Run Goat Dairy, where delicious local cheese is crafted, and you can meet the fun- loving goats!

- "We were a big group! The two houses accommodated all of us. An open concept, kitchen, dining-room and living room allowed for plenty of togetherness, yet the kids could play downstairs and sleep in the bunk room—a real bonus. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and included a cupboard of spices, and various oils. Lots of pantry space. There were hair dryers in the bathrooms as well as little soaps (things that we thought we needed to bring). The kayaks kept the teens busy and they never mentioned that the water was chilly! Do know there are well over 100 steps to the lake from the main house. We all felt in better shape by the end of the week! We did a big grocery shopping 30 min away in Ithaca, but there’s a small decent supermarket right in Ovid. A great vacation home for a large family."

This 1961 camper is located on 75 acres of trees, creeks, fields. It's situated in a gully, privately located, amongst some black walnut trees for shade. It has 2 beds and will sleep 4. There's also a small bunk bed. There's no running water in the camper but there's plenty available. The bathroom's located about 60' away, designated for guests using the camper & tree tent. The property is a short drive to the east side of Seneca Lake. Swimming is great in the clean water.

The space
The Tucked Inn is located NEAR Seneca Lake (300 yards). Lakeshore access is at the end of the street, but the house does not have it's own lake frontage. The entire house has been freshly updated and it's original turn of the century charm is very welcoming. The master bedroom is very large with a king size bed and the second bedroom is small, but very bright and has a full size bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room that could pose as extra sleeping space if you need to bring one more person.

Other things to note
The back yard of the house is tiny..10' x 20', with a steep bank that overlooks a ravine. While pretty...it could be dangerous, if you aren't careful. I kindly ask that you be mindful of this fact.

Relax in a studio cabin located on a working fruit farm and cidery, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Our cabin is nestled between our rose garden and a willow planting overlooking a small pond. Daytime sounds include Amish buggies while nights are filled with the sound of frogs. Enjoy orchard views from a covered porch or picnic table or duck into our Seating Tunnel, a passive solar growing tunnel that provides warmth and sunlight on rainy or windy days.

The space
The orchard cabin is ideal for a couple, or family with 1-2 children.The cabin includes a queen size bed, pull-out futon, full bathroom with a hot shower, kitchenette with microwave/convection oven/airfryer, refrigerator, coffee maker & French press, induction burner, and kitchen gadgets to craft meals. There is no freezer. If you need anything frozen, please let us know and we can do this for you in the cidery. WIFI is provided, however there is no screen. A mini-split provides AC or heat. The cabin faces south and from your porch the view is of the orchard and woods, and often a lovely sunrise or sunset. We have a no pet policy in the cabin to keep allergens at bay.

Blackduck hosts a weekend tasting room, Sat. & Sun. from 12-5pm, April-November. Guests enjoy tasting flights and cider by the glass at outdoor tables and in our Seating Tunnel. The Seating Tunnel is an extension of our hightunnel used for cherry production, and allows for covered seating on windy or rainy days. You are welcome in this tunnel at all times during your stay. At night, solar lights illuminate the seating area until 10-11pm. While your porch does not face the cidery, you can hear guests during operational hours. Leased dogs are allowed outside of the cidery.

Please note, parking for the cabin is located at the cidery entrance. You will have a reserved space in our lot. You will need to walk 150 feet along a gravel path, illuminated at night, to the door of the cabin. Cars cannot be driven to the cabin. The walkway to the cabin is not covered.

We are a working, organic fruit farm and the Blackduck family are in the orchard, cidery, or vinegar barn daily. On your visit, you may see us weeding in the hightunnels, harvesting berries, weeding or harvesting fruit trees, working in the beeyard, or walking Merlin, our rat terrier, in the pear block. Kids may run by and our two orchard cats, Mama Kitty and Seraphina, may stop by to welcome you. Your privacy will be respected as we go about our farm day. The cabin is extremely quiet inside. Feel free to stop and ask us questions when you see us, otherwise we will let you enjoy the quiet nature of the orchard.

Amish farms surround our orchard and at times they may fertilize their fields with manure. On a lucky day, you can watch the Amish hay our fields using a horse and wagon. You are welcome to use the swing or enjoy the Seating Tunnel. You can walk in the fenced orchard, we just ask you do not pick fruit. A map of the walkable grounds (~15 acres) will be available in the cabin.

We are located along the Cayuga Wine Trail, central to Geneva (23miles), Auburn (32m.), Watkins Glen (26m.), Ithaca (24m.), Trumansburg (12m.) where you can find small town amenities and Ovid (3m.) where you can find laundry, ice cream, and take-out. A nature preserve along Cayuga Lake is 3 miles north while Lodi Pt. State Marine Park on Seneca Lake is 10 miles west. You can hike in the Finger Lakes National Forest (10m.), New York’s only public, federally managed national forest. Connect to the Seneca Wine Trail in 5 minutes, or start your travels on the Finger Lakes Cider Trail either north or south.

Three bedrooms with blankets, sheets and pillows available for use; one firm mattress- queen size, two softer double beds and a futon in one of the bedrooms. The bedrooms are upstairs and stairs are quite narrow and slightly steep, so not convenient for people that may need handicap accessibility. Dining room with comfortable chairs and extra large dog crate for those bringing friendly, non-destructive and potty-trained dog(s). There's also a large dog kennel outside in the back yard. If you would like me to take the inside cage down during your stay, please let me know with a days notice. Also, back deck and front porch for morning coffee and/or to watch a beautiful sunset/rise. Towels and hand towels included for use. One bathroom-sorry, it's an older renovated farm house! Smaller country kitchen, complimentary tea and coffee!

Situated on a farm. It's 100% privacy, solitude & isolation, 100' from a barn & has everything to make you comfortable i.e Wi-Fi, TV & great sound system. Building has 2 levels. The space
The Octagon is located by itself but 100ft from a barn and 300ft from other houses although once inside or on the back deck you'll experience the feeling of total solitude . It has 24 wooden steps up and down a small hill. It's on a berry farm. This means no pavement. The ground can be wet and soft with snow or rain. Please bring footwear for wet conditions and slippers to wear inside. UNSUITABLE for children under 18 yrs. of age

This is a rural setting i.e there's no pavement. Depending on the time of year/weather guests should expect to walk on wet ground, if it has rained. In spring, fall and winter waterproof foot wear is advisable. Once you arrive at the wooden steps it'll be mud free underfoot.
Please bring some kind of indoor footwear.
Please wash and put dishes/pans away dry. I set my cleaning fee at $55 which is on the low end. However, if the place is left in a mess I will request an additional cleaning fee adjusted accordingly.

The property is located on farm next to extensive beautiful woodlands. So please expect the possibility of seeing insects i.e flies and bugs etc. in the vicinity. We're living in their space, not the other way round!

Welcome to ultimate lake vacation on the shore of Cayuga lake. Blue Heron Lodge features a combination of modern amenities with the classic Adirondack style vacation home. Access the lake via stairs from the backyard (52 stairs is appx 3.5 flights of steps). Bring your electric vehicle and utilize our level 2 EV charger. Note if you’re bringing a boat it will need to be launched from a public marina as there is no vehicle access to water on property.

There is fiber optic internet, a kitchen stocked with essentials such as coffee, creamer, snacks, spices, spring water, juice, and more. The space is fully air conditioned.

Out the back is a picnic table, charcoal and gas grill, fire pit, stone patio, solar lit umbrella, and plenty of room to walk around.

We are working farm specializing in culinary herbs. Please inquire about a farm tour, and/or interest in buying herbs and produce that are in season. We supply over 20 local and regional restaurants and eateries, as well as operating an herb CSA for locals.

Although the surrounding region boasts endless options for food and fun, this space has all you'll need for a fun-filled vacation at your home away from home. Keep an eye out while kayaking to see if you can spot any of the Bald Eagles nesting in the area. The House:
This stunning 3-level Contemporary Home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. An upscale luxury home, provides everything you will need for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. Every level has a lakeside view that won't disappoint.

Top level features a gorgeous Master bedroom with a King-size bed, spacious on-suite, soaking tub with a lake view, water closet, coffee/wine station, desk/work area and private balcony. Enjoy your morning coffee or sip some wine in the evening and take in all that lake life has to offer.

Middle level features a comfortable living area with an open floor plan, a large sectional, 65" tv and a 2-story stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals with ease. The dining area gives you exceptional views of the lake while you dine. The table comfortably seats eight and the counter seats three. There are two bedrooms on this level; one features a Queen-size bed and the second a Twin-size bed with a Twin-size trundle bed. Each room has a tv and they share a full size bathroom. This level also includes a spectacular wrap-around porch. There is plenty of seating, plus a daybed. Peek around the corner and you will see a gas grill available.

Lower level suite features a private bedroom with a Queen-size bed and tv with DVD player, full kitchen, kitchen table, living area with tv, Full-size sofa-sleeper, full bath and laundry room.

The Game Room:
The garage has been transformed into a brand new game room. Grab a partner and play pool, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, bubble hockey, darts or shuffleboard. Or take a bike ride on one of the four bicycles available. A full-size refrigerator/freezer is available to keep those drinks cold.

The Backyard:
Lounge on the 125' of lakefront property or hang out on the dock with lots of seating provided. An indoor storage area is available and filled with swim floats, 2 paddleboards, a 2 person inflatable boat, 2 plastic pools, boogie boards, coolers, outdoor entertaining trays, drink buckets, beach towels, children's activities, grill accessories and life jackets. The large patio offers an outdoor table that seats 12, stone gas grill, stone gas fire table (CURRENTLY NOT WORKING) with benches and 3 kayaks. Not enough? There are loungers with a market umbrella, a hammock and Adirondack chairs surrounding a firepit. Don't forget to bring your boat or jet ski on vacation (PLEASE LET ME KNOW AHEAD OF TIME SO YOU CAN USE THE LIFTS).

Still want more? All this is on the East side of the lake in Ovid, where there is a panoramic view of every sunset.

The Destinations:
Your lakeside retreat is located in the heart of wine country. You'll be surrounded by wineries, breweries and cideries. Need more activities? Sampson State Park offers biking trails, hiking, swimming, miniature golf, outdoor movies, a playground, pontoon rentals, boat launch and boat trailer storage. Try your luck at Del Lago Resort/Casino. Spend the day shopping at Waterloo Premier Outlets. Bring your golf clubs and play at Bonavista State Golf Course. Don't forget Taughannock State Park. Enjoy waterfalls, gorge trails, swimming and hiking. Ovid also has many fruit and vegetable stands. Ithaca, Watkins Glen or Geneva are only a half hour away and offer festivals, boat cruises, night life, shopping and restaurants.

Additional information:
* Gas fire table cover is heavy. Please be careful lifting and replacing as to not drop, break or scratch stone surface. Carefully lean cover against the side of the fire table when in use. Long gold key to turn on gas is kept inside fire table under the stone cover. Lighters are in drawers of kitchen, if needed. After use, leave uncovered until cool, then place gold key inside and gently cover. DO NOT LEAVE FIRE TABLE OR FIRE PIT UNATTENDED.
* Close umbrellas when raining, windy and at night.
* Beach towels are provided in storage room for outside use.
* Children must wear life jackets or arm floaties in the back yard or when on the dock for their safety.
* No diving or jumping off the dock, the water is too shallow.
* Air pump is located in the storage room if needed for floats.
* Highchair and Pack-n-Play are located under the stairwell, in the closet, on the bottom level.
* Game room is located in the garage. Enjoy!
* If the water has a sulphur smell, run the shower in the master bath, open the window and shut the doors. After an hour the smell will run through.

Checkout:
* Please place all towels on bathroom floors. No need to strip the beds.

The lake frontage and 11-acre property are shared only among 4 townhomes, so feel free to spread out! If you are looking for a busier beach atmosphere, there are public marinas, beaches, and lakefront restaurants just a few miles away. Please note, there is a steep winding trail to the lakefront with no amenities. 🌊🚶‍♂️👟

As a guest, you can enjoy access to the entire home, including the spacious balcony with gorgeous views, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and 800 ft of Cayuga shoreline (please be warned the walk is steep and there are no amenities provided). There is a smart lock to enter the house, and a lockbox with keys if you do not want to punch the code.
