This hundred year old home is a 15 minute stroll over a picturesque footbridge, into the heart of the Village. The house has been divided into two single bedroom units, one upstairs, the other downstairs.
I am currently renting the first floor apartment. It has its own entrance through the back door and can accommodate up to four people. The bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. (Please note: Bathroom access for bedroom is through the living room.) The bathroom has a tub with shower. Though there is no dishwasher or laundry service, there is a full kitchen, Smart TV, free WiFi, and access to a spacious yard equipped with table, chairs, and a charcoal grill for outside dining. Window fans and a cross breeze provide ventilation. For comfort on extreme heat days, a window air conditioner has recently been added. On street parking. Property owner lives on site in a cottage behind the house.
The Village hosts great restaurants and shops, Stonington Lighthouse Museum, Library, playground, La Grua Arts and Cultural Center, and CT’s only commercial fishing fleet. Extensive trails for nature walks nearby.
Be sure to visit the Stonington Village Farmer’s Market: Every Sat 9:00 a.m.-noon at the Town Dock from May through the end of Oct. Entering this private location and home, guests have initially commented on the beautiful setting and the peacefulness that comes from stepping onto the property. Our home sits on 4 ½ acres in a private waterfront community named “Osbrook Point” in Stonington Ct. Bordered on 2 sides by preserved woodlands and the Pawcatuck River on another, this year round home sits upon a knoll and the views and property look out down a gentle slope toward the river where one has access to a private dock and float for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and wonderful views. The view across the river is of Watch Hill. Boaters will have direct access to open waters for fishing, boating or beaching at local beaches or at “Sandy Point”, a small island which is also a nature preserve. The boat dock is suitable for a boat up to 26 feet. There is fresh water and electricity at the dock.

Our home sleeps ten guests with four bedrooms and two full baths. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds, one with a pair of twin beds and a pull out couch in the living room. There is a laundry room and pantry for your convenience. It is an open concept home with water views from most rooms, a large deck for relaxing and barbecuing and a large yard to entertain and enjoy friends and family in a safe and secluded neighborhood. While it is in an ideal location for entertaining, this is not a party house.

The home's location allows renters to enjoy a natural setting with wildlife and the river with views to Weekapaug and Watch Hill. It is close to historic Stonington Borough, Mystic with it's Seaport and Aquarium, Napatree and Misquamicut Beaches and Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos and local wineries. The property is feet from the water, well back from the street, and inside a fenced compound with off street parking for 4 cars. The interior has a mid-century design and open floor plan with bright sunny rooms. There is a king master suite on the second floor and a queen Murphy bed in the first floor studio. There are no steps to the first floor bed and there is full bath adjacent, making it a good space for guests with mobility challenges. All white linens are professionally laundered, including fresh duvets. The floors are all hard surface with beach vacation in mind. Enjoy the three season dining area with grill just outside. The second floor deck is simply massive. There is a cozy first floor deck with cafe seating that faces the sunrise. Adirondack chairs and fire pit are set by the water.

- "We could not have asked for a better long weekend at the shore! Louis was a fantastic host - providing a ton of great information proactively, was super responsive to any questions (we only had one!), and provided a really enjoyable experience overall. The home had everything we could have asked for - including different size pet beds to choose from! - and even included little touches that made the difference (lots of coffee pods for us coffee drinkers, amenities in the bathrooms, plastic containers for food, etc.). - "This was a great place to rest our head for the night. We stopped here on our way home from Acadia National Park, and it was just what we needed after many days of hiking. The beds were super comfy and there were fans in each room. Bathrooms were spotless with plenty of clean white fluffy towels. The host even put a high chair in the home after she saw we were traveling with a toddler. The wrap around couch fit 4 adults comfortably. She even left us a hand written note and gift card for breakfast! 10 minutes from Mystic Aquarium and so close to the historic downtown. This was a fantastic stay and I will gladly stay here again if I am ever in the area in the future."

Saltmarsh Ledge is a 12 acre estate with water access.It's beautiful 3 bedroom home sits on a meadow on the edge of the woods, overlooking gorgeous saltmarshes and Long Island Sound. Saltmarsh Ledgefeels like a secluded hideaway but is just minutes away from Stonington Village, one of Connecticut’s most charming towns. Our family property also includes access to Walker's Dock, a lovely marina where you can launch your own boat, take out our kayak or arrange a fishing charter. The property includes privatewoodland and meadowpaths with beautiful views.
The downstairs is a light-filled open floor plan with a living room fireplace. The large kitchen has a center island and is fully equipped for gourmet cooking and leads into a dining room that offers stunning nature views with Watch Hill in the distance. Full disclosure, there is a train that passes a short distance away, beyond the meadow and the marsh, and you will hear the whistles. Some people (kids especially!) love this. Some might find it bothersome.
The property is a short walk from, Walkers Dock, a small marina owned by our family. During the spring and summer you can make special arrangements to charter a fishing trip or even bring your own boat. There are ten acres of land, including woods, meadow and saltmarsh, a dog walkers and bird watchers paradise.
The host will be available by phone and text. There is also a caretaker who lives nearby who can help should any issues arise.
In addition to nearby DuBoise Beach on Stonington Point, Saltmarsh Ledgeis about 20 minutes drive to Watch Hill and Westerly Rhode Island beaches and close to numerous other attractions, including Barn Island, Saltwater Farm Vineyard, and the Velvet Mill, an eclectic repurposed factory filled with artist studios, shops, wellness practitioners and maker space.
We have parking for 3 or more cars, Saltmarsh Ledge is just on the edge of Stonington Village, which is easy to access by foot and bike along with driving. It's about 15 minutes away by car from shopping and restaurants in both Mystic Connecticut and Westerly Rhode Island. It's only about 10 minutes from I-95.

It can be challenging to find properties that allow 4 dogs but Natalie was enthusiastic about hosting us and made sure to make us (and our pups) feel at home. She had great communication and suggestions for how to spend our time. As noted in the listing- a train runs often right behind the property but you get used to it. The property is private/secluded but close to town, beautiful, and spacious. There’s a lot to do and explore on the property (hiking, paddle boarding, watching the sunrise) and off in surrounding cities such as Stonington and Mystic. The home was clean, well stocked, and the perfect size. Highly recommend!"

Our home is located on a private Cul de Sac. There are two spacious bedrooms (on the second floor) a large kitchen (fully stocked) with breakfast counter (suitable as workspace), a spacious living room and a gathering room for children, with television and games. There is a half bath downstairs and a full bath with tub and shower upstairs.

This home is just minutes from historic downtown Westerly, where you will find many fine restaurants and shopping. Don’t forget nearby Foxwoods Casino, Great Wolf Lodge or Tanger Outlets for some evening or rainy day fun!

Velvet Mill offers art galleries, bakery, yoga studio, restaurants and brewery and it is definitely worth visiting. And for the wine lovers there are beautiful vineyards near by offering wine tasting and music. Saltwater farm vineyard is a must visit!

The house is still exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. We found the property to be very clean with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. There is a large screen, smart TV in the larger bedroom on a rolling stand which can be easily moved into the living room. The TV is equipped with Roku. Internet speed is good. The showers had a nice strong stream and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had modern appliances and was exceptionally well equipped. As an added bonus, there is tasteful art displayed throughout the house. We used the house as a base for travelling to wildlife refuges. There are three refuges within 15 minutes of the house and one that is about 25 minutes. The beaches are 5 minutes away as is the Watch Hill Historic District. The house is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet except for some traffic sounds from Winnapaug Rd and the occasional private airplanes from the nearby airport, neither of which bothered us. Best to use the driveway on the Knollwood Drive side of the house as the driveway from Winnapaug is REALLY steep. Andrea and Tom were very gracious hosts and responsive to our texts. Andrea was kind enough to arrange an early check-in for us. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends."

This beautiful compound is located on Wequetequock Cove in Stonington, CT. The 6- bedroom main home is newly renovated featuring 6 new King Beds. There are also 4 additional Studio Cottages each one very unique. They are all located steps away from the Main house. One Cottage has a single king bed, a twin bed, kitchenette, and a private bath. The other has 2 queen beds and a private bathroom. There are 2 more guest cottages that each have a private bath and a king bed. We can provide a small Boston Whaler type boat to take you to the beach. That is correct. The absolute nicest beach in all of New England is located 6 minutes from the house. It is called "Sandy Point Beach" It is only accessible by water. You don't have to go in the open ocean to get there. It is safely approachable by a small boat, kayak, or SUP. From your deck you can see the train bridge that you must go under, once on the other side you will see Sandy Point 1/4 mile in front of you. This beach is pristine. You are welcome to bring your own boat also, just remember no high T-tops. We do provide plenty of kayaks and SUP's for your private use. We also offer a boat rental or shuttle service to the beach for a nominal charge.

We boast the strongest internet connection and the best WIFI available throughout the entire property. You will always be connected with full bars. This house is perfect for the gaming enthusiast on a rainy day. You can connect the Xbox into any bedroom.

Getting back to the house itself.... Well, it is newly renovated this year. Everything is new. Every bed, sheet, pillow, utensil, tv, appliance, etc. The main living area is incredible. It is completely open so that if you want to have dinner for a large group it is simple to do so. The deck is huge and can hold up to 18 for dinner. The inside dining area is huge as well. The kitchen is set up as a gourmet kitchen with all of the necessary amenities. The bedrooms are awesome. Every bedroom is very large. Every bedroom has a new internet-based TV. All six of the bedrooms have a King bed in them. Yes, that is not a misprint. Every Bedroom features a closet, nightstand, and bureau. There is a pull-out sofa also that allows for an additional 2 people to sleep comfortably. In total the home sleeps 14 extremely comfortable. If you need to add a few additional guests, this can be arranged. There is ample room for that. Upstairs can be used as kids' rooms or teenagers etc. There are 5 bathrooms throughout the home, with 1 of them being an outdoor unit. Then also 4 more bathrooms with 1 in each of the cottages.
The grounds are incredible. We have over 12 acres of beautiful waterfront property. There is ample room for tents and parking. If you are planning a wedding or other large event, we do allow them, but you will need to speak to the owner first about additional costs and provisions.
We have an Oceanside Cabana that has all of the kayaks, SUP's, fishing gear, paddles, even an ice maker located right next to the boat ramp. There is no need to lug heavy SUP's or kayaks any distance at all. You use them and the Cabana is right there. IT is awesome.
The home has central A/C throughout. It has been decorated by an award-winning designer from Greenwich, CT.

Welcome to our Home Away From Home, where you will be closely located to Westerly downtown, the beach, shopping, dining, Mystic, the Casinos, and Watch Hill (which is where the beautiful Ocean House and Taylor Swifts home is located). Our home is family friendly and offers all must-have items for your littles. But even without littles, our home offers a spacious and comfortable atmosphere for all guests.

The space
The 2024 renovated interior features modern amenities and stylish decor, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The three bedrooms provide ample space for everyone to rest and recharge and the playroom/office adds extra space for the littles or for separating your workspace from the rest of the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking. Additional barstools can be found in the basement. The dining table easily folds up on both sides and can sit 6. The additional chairs are also located in the basement. A highchair is also available.

The bedrooms offer a king-sized bed, a queen-sized bed, and a stackable twin sized bed, which can be unstacked into 2 twin beds. The same room also offers a crib for your baby or toddler.

The living room has the hardware in the walls to install a baby gate (stored in the playroom), which separates the living area and playroom from the kitchen and bedrooms.

If you are planning on going to the beach, please be aware that there are no beach accessories at the house and you will have to bring it all (I.e. beach towels, chairs, cooler, cart, umbrella etc). Do not take the bath towels to the beach.

There's a communal fire pit where you can meet our marina residents, but go early because they're up at dawn to fish.

Our multilevel apartment is attached to our family home. You will have completely separate access, and no rooms are shared between the units.

As you exit your car, you'll notice our brand new deck right outside of your suite, with flowers abounding and deck chairs for your morning breakfast and evening relaxation. Around, you'll find plenty of well-tended gardens containing some of our Connecticut native plants!

When you first enter your suite, you'll find our cozy lower level, providing a futon that folds out into a full size bed, along with a tv with cable and streaming services for your pleasure. Walk further in and you'll find our fully equipped kitchen for any cooking or baking you'd like to do, as well as a coffee station to help start your day! Adjacent to the kitchen, you'll find a full bathroom with a half shower. All linens are provided, along with a few necessities in case you forget anything along your travels.

Upstairs, you'll find our master bedroom, including a queen-sized coastal bed, a desk work station, a full closet, and multiple bureaus for your things. Along the top of our bedside tables, you'll find a full power strip and USB ports on the bases of our lamps for charging all of your devices. Our apartment has full high-speed WiFi access throughout the entire space, and the code will be provided to you when you book with us. We also have brand new, full space air conditioning and heating systems available to keep the space at whatever temperature you would like!

Your apartment suite has a separate door from our family home. You will be able to access your space with a guest passcode on our lockpad when you arrive, no keys involved! In the middle of the staircase, there is a door to our family home. This door stays locked at all times to keep both areas separate from each other, so no part of the unit is shared.

Please realize our home is located on a main road between towns. While it is not a highway and not overly noisy, it is not a road to take a stroll on or ride a bike down, and a car is most definitely required.

Built in 1870, this home was the first on the street. It boasts a charming interior with ample outdoor space for gathering and relaxing. You will see some older features of the house that were kept to preserve history (some door hardware, low ceilings, flooring, including old paint splatters, and the old coal chute covers).

Centrally located to Downtown Westerly, Misquamicut beach, Mystic, casinos and all that Connecticut and Rhode Island have to offer.

The space
Built in 1870, the home maintains many of its original charm and quirks. Light and airy spaces will allow for serene relaxation while being close enough to walk to town.

You will notice the ceilings are under 7 feet, and the climb of the stairs to the lofted space will have you watching your head as you reach the top step.

While there are 3 bedrooms, sleeping 5 people, there is only seating in the living room, kitchen and outdoor area for 4.

A beautiful 1920s claw foot tub is in working condition in the upstairs bathroom. ***Please note that this tub is thoroughly cleaned after each stay, but has not been re-enameled, so staining and discolorations will be apparent***

In the lofted space, the floors maintain much of their original charm, including old paint splatters that have been added throughout the years.

Baseboard heating can be seen throughout the house, and can sometimes make hissing and rattling noises. We promise these noises are normal.

Outdoor lounge area is riverside across the street from the guest suite. Two comfy Adirondack chairs perfect for lounging by the water. There is no access to the river from this point. The riverbank is steep and there are no stairs. Swimming in the Pawcatuck river is not advised.

Parking for up to two cars on site. Driveway is shared with the main house. AirBNB parking area is along side the guest suite and marked with signs. See the guidebook for further clarification. No street parking.

Please note that AirBNB guests have no access to the fenced area of the back yard. That area is the private property of the main house.

Owner and family live on site. While the guest suite is private and has a separate entrance from the main house it does have one shared wall in the living room. Night time quiet hours from 10pm to 8am are respected but some noise is to be expected during the day. A white noise machine has been provided in the living room as well as the bedroom. Please note that the Amtrak train runs behind the house several times per day and evening but not throughout the night.

A home away from home. At 13 Lester, we can provide guests a choice when booking, to book as a one bedroom with pull out sofa (sleeps 4) or as a 2 bedroom with pull out sofa (sleeps 6). Since we have a high demand for parties of 2 the listing is priced for the one bedroom with pull out option. If you need or want the second bedroom opened up just book the unit as listed and message us to request the 2nd bedroom. Built in 1860 and expanded in 1990, this is a place where our family gathers for holidays and over the summer to take advantage of the incredible places this neighborhood has to offer. We love this three bedroom two bathroom home because:

- Recently updated interior including new washer/dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher and mini splits in bedrooms
- Large front porch with unobstructed views of the beautiful Pawcatuck river (designated wild and scenic) making morning coffee a real treat
- Private back patio perfect for R&R
- Quick walk to downtown Westerly, short drive to nearby ocean beaches, Mystic, Stonington Borough, Foxwoods Casino, Mohegan Sun and more (ask us for recommendations!)
- Access to kayaks May-September to explore the river
- Book a private seal cruise / lighthouse tour for your group (weather permitting) departing right out your front door.
- Spacious layout that can accommodate larger groups
- Many hikes nearby (Avalonia Land Trust or Burlingame State Park are a great starting place) to see the leaves change color in autumn.

The Home:
First floor has one full bath, one washer and dryer, large eat in kitchen, access to private patio with outdoor shower, large living room with smart TV, den/game room and a large front porch with amazing river views.

The second floor has three bedrooms and one full bathroom.

Bedroom one has a queen bed and space for a pack and play. This water facing room has sliding doors to let in the river breeze, a ceiling fan, and a mini-split unit for AC or additional heat.

Room two offers a skylight and a full bed, a ceiling fan, and a mini-split unit for AC or additional heat.

Room three is the largest and located in the rear. It offers a king sized bed with two sleeper chairs and is ideal for families. There is a small desk and a window ac unit. This 1860s cape requires you walk through the bathroom to access the large back bedroom.

The second floor has one shared full bathroom.

Parking: Please plan for no more than 2-3 cars for your trip as the driveway is small and there is no street parking available.

This house was built in 1860 and is equipped with household basics (bedding/sheets included). The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, pyrex dishes, cookie sheets, cutlery / grilling tools, dishes, glasses and basic oils and spices. There is a propane grill located on the back patio.

Some unique features in this 1880's farmhouse include pine floors, original doors, and antique wrought iron thumb latch hardware. Although no longer a working farm there is still light agricultural on the property.

We welcome families traveling with children. Please be aware that our home is not child proof. Child locks, gates, cribs, monitors etc. will not be provided.

We have a shared driveway with parking available in front of the farmhouse.

The outdoor shower is seasonal. Water will be off during late fall to late spring.

The maximum number of guests we can host is 6 including children and daytime visitors.

A full kitchen with island seating for four and dining area that seats six. When we say full kitchen we really mean it. Everything you need for an average chef to prepare a meal. It includes a gas range and electric oven, dishwasher, large farm sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer and a full set of dinnerware and cookware. Thirsty? We installed a whole home UV and carbon water filtration system for our family’s safety and yours. Feel free to drink the water from any faucet. The dining area has a window AC unit.

Main Living Space
Open concept kitchen and dining area opens to two living spaces. The first features a big comfy couch surrounded by beautiful plants. A rotating wall mounted TV can be viewed from the couch, dining table or kitchen. A beautiful brick fireplace sits in the center of the room with remote controlled flameless candles for relaxing evenings. The second living space features a wall of built in bookshelves filled with books and magazines for both children and adults. The cabinet holds games, puzzles and cards for you to enjoy.

Master Bedroom
The master bedroom is upstairs and features a king bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress. The bed has SureGuard mattress and pillow encasements, waterproof mattress protector, crisp clean sheets and a duvet cover to ensure a clean and comfortable experience. There is a rocking chair with side table for reading, relaxing or rocking someone to sleep. There are also dimmable bedside reading lights, a ceiling fan, dresser storage and a window AC unit.

Bedroom 2
There is a second bedroom upstairs, down the hall from the master bedroom. It features a fun low bunk bed perfect for kids or small adults. The bottom bed is a full size mattress and the top bed is twin size. Please note that the bottom mattress is at floor level and the weight limit for the top bunk is 200lbs. Both beds feature SureGuard mattress and pillow encasements, waterproof mattress protectors and crisp clean sheets and duvet covers to ensure a clean and comfortable experience. The room has an expansive collection of children’s books, a window AC unit, and a Hatch night light and noise machine.

Upstairs Bathroom
This is a full bathroom with beautiful clawfoot tub and shower. Bath towels, hand towel, and washcloths are provided.

Guest Suite
The attached guest suite is on the first floor with access to the main house through the mudroom. The guest suite includes its own living area with comfortable couch and TV, small dining area with seating for two and a small but full kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, microwave, electric stove and oven and coffee maker. The guest suite kitchen is equipped with its own full set of kitchen supplies for cooking and serving a simple meal if desired.
The guest suite includes the third bedroom with attached private full bathroom. The bedroom features SureGuard mattress and pillow encasements, waterproof mattress protector and crisp clean sheets and duvet cover to ensure a clean and comfortable experience. There is a small closet with a dresser inside to store your belongings. The bathroom has a shower and tub with bath towels, washcloths and hand towel provided. Mudroom
A perfect place to hang your keys and kick off your sandy shoes. It features a bench and a small coat closet as well as a cabinet that stores quick dry beach towels for your use. Of note the wifi router is located in the mudroom closet.

Basement
The basement is accessed through the kitchen in the main living area. It features a full size side by side washer and dryer as well as an additional refrigerator and freezer. There is a small gym area featuring a barbell and plates, assorted dumbbells and kettle bells, a pull up bar and Peloton. Please note the peloton does not have an active subscription, feel free to log into (and out of!) your own Peloton account or use as a plain old exercise bike without the screen. The kids play area features a rock climbing wall and lots of toys. Perfect for a rainy day. Please note that the exercise equipment is for adult use only and children must be supervised by a responsible adult on the rock wall at all times.

Front Porch
Kick back in the Adirondack chairs or hammock chair and take in the views of the Pawcatuck River. If you prefer to sit closer to the river two yellow Adirondack chairs sit riverside and are available for your use. Please note that there is no access to the river from this property. Please also note that the manufacturer's weight limit on the hammock chair is 200lbs.

Backyard
There is a large fully fenced back yard containing a propane BBQ grill available for your use. Thank you for turning off the propane tank after each use. Please note that the Amtrak train runs behind the fence multiple times per day.

Kid/Baby friendly space
Most of the kid and baby gear is kept in the basement unless otherwise noted. Thank you for cleaning if needed and returning the gear to where you got it from so that it is ready for the next family.

Each bedroom has a window AC unit as well as one unit in the main living area and one in the guest suite living area. While these units certainly do the trick on a hot day the house does not have central air conditioning. If you prefer to live in icy conditions in the New England summer this property may not be for you. The AC units will be off when you arrive. Thank you for turning off all AC units when you leave.

The space
This house is filled with character, having been built in 1900. Along with that character also comes some quirks. The stairs are steep and narrow. Additionally a few windows can be difficult to open and some need a board to prop them open. Brand new mini split AC system installed!

Full bathroom upstairs. Small toilet room on main floor off of the kitchen.

The front porch and side yard (with picnic table) offer beautiful views of Wequetequock Cove - including beautiful sunsets - and the secluded patio offers a quiet, shaded sitting area.

Welcome to Farley Ave! Our 1700’s home was originally a barn to the farm house next door, hence the close proximity and lower original ceilings/beams. Both were converted to a homes in 1905 and then we restored this house in 2021 to give it the character it once had, and bring it back to life. Our home is walking distance to bars and restaurants in downtown Westerly, as well as 10 minutes from Westerly beaches and 10 minutes to Mystic CT!

The home is very private and quaint. The house next door is also a rental and the houses are close together, however we have designed it in a way that you still have as much privacy as possible to enjoy time outside. The entire home was renovated in 2021 so it is all new with stainless steel appliances and very rustic modern touches!

Our home is from the 1700's so the stairs are a little steeper and the ceilings in the kitchen are low. The space
The property is feet from the water, well back from the street, and inside a fenced compound with off street parking for 4 cars. The interior has a mid-century design and open floor plan with bright sunny rooms. There is a king master suite on the second floor and a queen Murphy bed in the first floor studio. There are no steps to the first floor bed and there is full bath adjacent, making it a good space for guests with mobility challenges. All white linens are professionally laundered, including fresh duvets. The floors are all hard surface with beach vacation in mind. Enjoy the three season dining area with grill just outside. The second floor deck is simply massive. There is a cozy first floor deck with cafe seating that faces the sunrise. Adirondack chairs and fire pit are set by the water.

The space
My home: walking distance from Westerly and just minutes drive from beaches, wineries, and casinos. Popular currently is Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island (63 Canal Street, Westerly RI). We are an eclectic design, large enough for a biggish group, privacy, and common spaces. As you face the house from the street, turn into the SHARED driveway just past the fir tree and main house (28 posted to the door) --PAST the little white building attached to the main house- you’ll enter through a side door that has an overhang, where the mailbox is. Park on the left side of the driveway, close to the house and inside the faint green line on the gravel-3 cars max, depending on size. If you need more room just ask- I will tell you where to park up to 1 additional car. This is a SAFETY issue and a courtesy for my neighbors.
I restored and renovated this turn-of-the-century mill house. The neighborhood is safe and convenient to town, and some of the best beaches in the world are 15 minutes away. The town of Westerly recently won the "Best Town In Rhode Island": award and is literally around the corner from my home. The house fits 6-7 people like so: 2 people in a kingsize bed/ suite; 1 on the single adjustable bed upstairs in a separate bedroom, 1 in each twin bed downstairs, 1-2 in the other guest bedroom -full size. NEW 75 " SMART TV in the living room. New accessible (sturdy grab bars) bathroom downstairs. Ceiling fans, new windows, comfortable seating. AC in all bedrooms and for July, August, Sept- . Open the (blue) door to the street-it has a screen, the driveway door, all the windows, and the ceiling fans--plus an aerodynamic wind tower (stored by the piano), and you have cooling breezes in the common rooms. New addition--small but effective outdoor propane "accent" fireplace--turn and push the knob as you light the center burner. Please let cool and cover with the garbage bag to protect from moisture. Cute garden/patio outside to relax in or grill. You can see the river from the upstairs bedroom with a skylight. Plenty of room, plenty of privacy. The dog you see in some of the photos passed away 7 years ago-no pet lives permanently in the house now, though I allow well-trained dogs to stay with their families (wet vac cleaning in between each guest's stay). The door in the "pink" twin bedroom is locked and leads to another part of the house where I stay when you are in the main house. Some have noted that the house is on a well-traveled street, with a neighborhood bar-restaurant a few doors down: potential for some sidewalk noise heard from the pink bedroom if windows are open. This is a plus for some people since great bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Neighbors look out for one another here, but of course, lock your car and the house doors. Also, the Amtrack train runs just across the street on a raised track- not hourly but enough to notice for some guests. One more thing in the spirit of full disclosure: there are hourly church bells. Some guests notice it, others don't; earplugs are provided to every guest ;) BTW, the WIFI is great--190 mph. So proud of where I live! When guests are staying, my partner and I may be staying in the adjoining guest studio. The door between the studio and the main house is locked, there is privacy, and a second entrance and parking for us. You will have the main house to yourselves. The main house used to be 2-family renovated to one (not a duplex), and there is plenty of room and privacy-door and stairway between downstairs and upstairs, which is a large space w kingsize canopied bed and 5' double shower in the bathroom with a new tiled Jacuzzi tub. There is a single bed in the additional bedroom upstairs.The downstairs bathroom has a shower (accessible). Downstairs guest bedrooms: the pink room has 2 twin beds. The middle bedroom has one full-sized bed. Towels and sheets are included, full kitchen with all utensils, state-of-the-art refrigerator/ freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer. 55"Smart TV master bedroom; 75" Smart TV downstairs in the living room; 55" in middle full bedroom downstairs. Wi-Fi; Private grape arbor and al fresco dining, lawn chairs, grill. If you bring a dog, (the house is pet-friendly for well-trained dogs) there is a totally fenced-in safe area in the back where you are welcome to keep him or her. Some beach equipment chairs and beach umbrellas are available in the side yard by the hammock.

Other things to note
Fully equipped kitchen: Toaster, coffee-maker drip plus Nespresso, blender, waffle maker. I also keep menus and magazines for your perusal. All guest bedrooms except the single upstairs have air conditioners. Open both blue doors (there's a screen on the one facing the street)-open all windows turn on ceiling fans, use the wind tower stored by the piano, and you have cooling breezes in the common rooms. 2 remotes and plenty of streaming options on the TVs--WiFi is the same throughout the house, same password.
