Entering this private location and home, guests have initially commented on the beautiful setting and the peacefulness that comes from stepping onto the property. Our home sits on 4 ½ acres in a private waterfront community named “Osbrook Point” in Stonington Ct. Bordered on 2 sides by preserved woodlands and the Pawcatuck River on another, this year round home sits upon a knoll and the views and property look out down a gentle slope toward the river where one has access to a private dock and float for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and wonderful views. The view across the river is of Watch Hill. Boaters will have direct access to open waters for fishing, boating or beaching at local beaches or at “Sandy Point”, a small island which is also a nature preserve. The boat dock is suitable for a boat up to 26 feet. There is fresh water and electricity at the dock.

Our home sleeps ten guests with four bedrooms and two full baths. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds, one with a pair of twin beds and a pull out couch in the living room. There is a laundry room and pantry for your convenience. It is an open concept home with water views from most rooms, a large deck for relaxing and barbecuing and a large yard to entertain and enjoy friends and family in a safe and secluded neighborhood. While it is in an ideal location for entertaining, this is not a party house.

The home's location allows renters to enjoy a natural setting with wildlife and the river with views to Weekapaug and Watch Hill. It is close to historic Stonington Borough, Mystic with it's Seaport and Aquarium, Napatree and Misquamicut Beaches and Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos and local wineries. The house is a short drive to Rhode Island where numerous beaches and RI activities abound. The house location and area provides many enjoyable and scenic areas for hiking or bike riding.

Prime location! Two bedroom, 1 bath cottage situated in quiet Weekapaug Rhode Island with fabulous large screened porch. Five minute walk to The Innlet for morning coffee and newspaper and delicious sandwiches for lunch on Fenway Beach, a great beach for young children because of it’s gentle descent to the water. Great waves for bodysurfing and boogie boarding. Beach buttons and car pass provided. There is a beach box containing chairs and umbrella for family use at Fenway Beach. There is an outdoor shower to wash the sand off after a day at the beach. A second private beach, the Inn Beach, a short drive (or 10’walk) from the cottage, is perfect for a beautiful 2 mile walk. Both beaches have lifeguards during the season (July and August).

Our cottage is located close to the Westerly airport and train stations, Providence airport (TF Green), and I-95 is easily accessible. Flights to Block Island are available at the Westerly airport. Ferry service to Block Island is available at Point Judith. Mystic Seaport and Aquarium and Foxwoods casino, with its American Indian Museum, are a 20’ drive and Newport and its beautiful mansions and Cliff Walk is 40’.

Available for the month long renters is membership to the Weekapaug Yacht Club. Your children can learn to sail beginning with Beetle Cat boats and advancing to Optimist sailing dinghies. The WYC is the social center for the community with weekly activities such as Monday night Bingo for the kids, movie nights, teen softball etc. On Friday mornings walk to the local Weekapaug Farmers’ Market at the Weekapaug Fire District Office, to purchase vegetables and fruit, honey and cheese products- all locally grown and produced. A small lending library is also situated at the fire district office.

Management company was receptive to a few questions, all handled promptly. Had lunch at Andrea's on the beach and dinner at Guytanno's on Saturday night. Loved being able to explore Newport only an hour away and some of the local beach communities." - "My spouse and I stayed at this property from May 19-22, 2024. The house is still exactly as portrayed in the photos and description. We found the property to be very clean with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. There is a large screen, smart TV in the larger bedroom on a rolling stand which can be easily moved into the living room. The TV is equipped with Roku. Internet speed is good. The showers had a nice strong stream and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had modern appliances and was exceptionally well equipped. As an added bonus, there is tasteful art displayed throughout the house. We used the house as a base for travelling to wildlife refuges. There are three refuges within 15 minutes of the house and one that is about 25 minutes. The beaches are 5 minutes away as is the Watch Hill Historic District. The house is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet except for some traffic sounds from Winnapaug Rd and the occasional private airplanes from the nearby airport, neither of which bothered us. Best to use the driveway on the Knollwood Drive side of the house as the driveway from Winnapaug is REALLY steep. Andrea and Tom were very gracious hosts and responsive to our texts. Andrea was kind enough to arrange an early check-in for us. We would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends."

Adorable 2 bedroom cottage. Although small in size, it is bright and airy with all the necessary comforts, including central air, ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms, wood floors, dining table, gas stove and a sleep sofa that can sleep a couple of extra guests. Outside there is a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and gas grill in quiet wooded area just off route 1. Outdoor shower available April to October.
The cottage is less than 2 miles to Misquamicut and Westerly beaches as well as downtown Westerly. Watch Hill and Charlestown and numerous restaurants are minutes away. Connecticut casinos are less than half an hour away as is Narraganset and the Block Island Ferry.

- "We stayed here for almost a month because we've moved to the area, but our permanent housing wasn't ready yet. The home and neighborhood are cute and quiet and also conveniently close to the beach and downtown Westerly. There are grocery stores and restaurants just a couple minute drive away. The home is comfortably furnished with nice beach inspired decor, kitchen was well equipped for cooking and it's great to have the washer and dryer. The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful before and during our stay. I highly recommend this getaway."
