With 1536 square feet, two full baths and 3 bedrooms, up to 8 people can sleep comfortably. There are no cameras installed in or on the Property.

The Main Level is all paned windows on the water. The entire floor is open starting at the Kitchen & four-stooled Breakfast Bar w/ granite counters, high-end appliances and custom cabinetry that contains pots (lobster and otherwise), pans, 2 regular coffee pots w/ filters & 1 Keurig, large bowls, flatware, 2 sets of dinnerware & glassware, gadgets, spice carousel, grill spices, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, ziploc bags, grill accessories, etc.

The Living Room has a queen-size fold-out bed in the couch, a fireplace, TV with premium channels, powder room and a screen porch w/ a single sleeper sofa, matching rocker and over-sized cushioned chair for those who like indoor/outdoor living overlooking Ninigret Pond. It is often the guests’ favorite room.

The Dining Room seats seven comfortably, TV. The Front Deck has a Weber Genesis Grill and a Smith & Hawken umbrella table w/ four chairs for outdoor dining. The grill, table & chairs are unavailable & stored once freezing temps arrive. The Side Deck has additional seating for viewing the awesome Ocean sunrises & Ninigret Pond sunsets.

Upstairs, the Master Suite has a queen-size bed and its own sunning deck w/ lounges (stored in cold weather) overlooking Ninigret Pond, TV, bay window desk, power shades, and full bath w/ glass shower overlooking the Ocean and Breachway beach.

Outside, there is a private gated-entry to the beach, driveway parking for 4 regular-sized cars, and a whole house auto/on Generac generator. In snowy weather, roads are usually plowed but snow removal is not available at the beach house. A snow shovel is.

The beach pass is good for two excellent beaches, Charlestown and Blue Shutters. We launched our canoe and kayak easily at the boat launch a few minutes' walk from the house. That made it easy to access Elbow Beach which offers wading pool like conditions suitable for small children. Jim, the host, was helpful and responsive, and everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly."

- "I rented this cottage on Allen Cove during my first visit to Charlestown Beach where I was meeting extended family. I was traveling with my 14 year old son, my 14 year old nephew and my 10 year old daughter. I rented a small boat from Ocean House Marina for the week so my son and nephew could have some freedom to explore the area. The views are really calming and we enjoyed many hours sitting in the yard under the tree looking out onto the water. The 1930’s cottage is very rustic and basic but has what I needed and enough charm that I didn’t miss being in an updated property. The house had been VERY thoroughly cleaned on arrival. It has updated windows, an outdoor shower, good water pressure inside and a huge back deck with an oversized table. We didn’t grill or eat here but it would be perfect for a large gathering of guests joining you for the day or evening. Owner Julie was accommodating with questions and/or needs. I was coming from Florida by plane so I used Vacation House Linen & Towel Rentals for our sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and beach equipment and they were excellent to work with. I have a child with allergies and usually travel with giant ziplock bags to place down feather pillows and comforters inside during our hotel or home stays. There were feather pillows there during my stay, but I just set them all aside. I did a day trip to the Newport Mansions and also visited the Umbrella Factory and loved both of those excursions. We ate at The Cove one night and got take out from Charlestown Famous Pizza and those were good."

This quaint beach house is located right on Quonnie's breach-way in Quonochontaug.

It offers two bedrooms; one with a queen and the other has bunk beds with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. Fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and an open floor to the living area which has glass French doors leading onto a deck. The deck offers a picnic table and a grill. Perfect for enjoying the spectacular views and beautiful evening sunsets. From the deck, there are views of 'Quonnie Pond' where clamming is permitted; Weekapaug, Misquamicut, Watch Hill, Block Island and Montauk Point. Glorious!!

A boat slip is available for rent which can accommodate up to a 30' boat and there is great fishing right off our dock with plenty of fish to be caught. With just a short walk along the breach-way there are beautiful white sandy beaches for one to enjoy. There is an outdoor shower and a washer\dryer for your convenience. This vacation getaway is situated on a quiet private road perfect for families with children. There is also adequate off-street parking.

The Air Conditioned house is a Chalet Style and sleeps 6 comfortably. The Main living area is on the second floor. The gradual stairs will take you to a covered porch . There are two bedrooms with a queen and two twins. Television in Living area and Full kitchen combined Dining area. A full bath with shower. The upstairs loft has two twin beds. The stairs to the loft are a bit steep as in Chalet houses. Using the back deck stairs, one can get to the first level which has only a casual sitting room and bathroom with a sink and toilet to use.. (There are no interior stairs from the upper level to the lower level. This house is actually a two family.) Great Restaurants in South County RI. Fire Pit and Grill. Thank You for considering.

Quaint cottage a 5-minute walk from West Beach, a private beach named one of the most beautiful beaches in New England by Yankee Magazine. Comfortable and private, this charming cottage is a perfect getaway for families with young children or couples.

Inside there are two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with adjoining dining area, living room with single extra long day bed and double fold-down couch, and bathroom with shower stall. Outside you will find a deck; large, private yard; outdoor shower with hot water; and parking for up to four cars. This cottage comfortably fits 2-4 people. The bedrooms are semi-private with an adjoining wall and curtains for doors; the bunk beds are ideal for children. There are additional beds in the living room, so there is sleeping space for up to 6, but the cottage is small and would not accommodate 6 adults. The location and nearby beach are unique, and the price reflects this. Bed linens and bath towels available on request for additional laundry charge; renters supply own beach towels.

A short walk down a dirt road takes you to the private beach for West Beach Association members and guests. Beach pass provided for renters. Our quiet location at the end of West Beach Rd. is perfect for walking and biking. You are easy walking distance from the Quonochontaug Breachway. With a public boat launch, this is a great spot for fishing, kayaking, and birdwatching. Nearby is Westerly with its historic downtown and concerts in the park, and Watch Hill with a wealth of shopping and restaurant options and, for the kids, the oldest continuously run carousel in the country.

On the second floor there is an open room with a queen size bed on one side and two twins beds on the opposite side. In the basement there is a funky but functional shower and a new washer/dryer.

The Willow Nest is a two bedroom open concept home situated in a quiet neighborhood near the beach.

The bedrooms each offer a luxe, comfy queen bed and thoughtful details. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room area has a deep seated couch and a large flat screen TV perfect for movie nights after a long day at the beach.

The kitchen holds many little treasures and is fully equipped to cook up your favorite meals. Serving platters, wine glasses, and locally crafted cutting boards are just a few of the goodies found in the kitchen. As far as appliances go, you will have access to an oven/stove, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker (don’t forget to bring your own K-Cups!), Ninja Bullet, toaster, and a waffle iron.

The backyard is our sanctuary. Lots of space and a fence for privacy. You will find a small patio with a dining table, grill, and a fire pit, as well as an outdoor shower—perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. There are many places you can pick up fresh fish and vegetables on your way back from the beach and spend the rest of the afternoon grilling in the backyard. Note: we do not provide firewood, so we recommend you grab some on the way over!

Guests have complete access to the home and yard. You will also have access to a cottage pass to use at the Charlestown Town beach just 4 mins away!

The cottage is located in a friendly, close-knit beach community where families enjoy walking their kids and pets around the neighborhood or down to Green Hill Pond. The area has little through traffic, making it perfect for biking, walking, or running in the mornings. Feel free to head over to the community pavilion and beach, but please be considerate—it’s a shared space we all take pride in.

Enjoy our completely remodeled to the studs 750sq ft guest suite; everything is brand new. Private entrance, Master Bath and Bedroom with kitchenette (no stove top). The space is completely sealed off from the main house by 2 locked doors. Minutes from the beach on a 4 acre property. Charlestown Beach is 3 miles away, Narragansett Beaches are 20 minutes away. We are a family of 4 with 2 friendly dogs. There are 3 yards; the yard with the fire pit in front is all yours.

The space
This completely remodeled space has a master bedroom with a king bed and ceiling fan. The entire unit has central air and heat; the thermostat in the bedroom controls your side of the house. The master bathroom is tiled with a double quartz vanity, rainfall shower with hand attachment. The kitchenette has a split beverage fridge and wine cooler. The living space has a leather love seat with a wall mounted flat screen and wifi. There is an outdoor fire pit with two adirondack chairs right in front for your enjoyment. There's a table in the living area for eating, reading, or board games. There's also a large walk-in closet in the bedroom. The bathroom has a lot of extra's in case you forget anything such as a hair dryer, toiletries, etc.

The full 750 sq ft guest suite is private. Your suite has new vinyl steps and landing; it's the closest entrance to where you'll park. You'll also see a Welcome sign hanging on the exterior.

The space
We absolutely love our spot! It’s a 2 acre property down a quiet dirt road but 7-8 minutes from East + Blue Shutter beaches, Dave’s Coffee and the excellent farmstand/ice cream spot Quonnie Farms. 10mins to Dunns Corners, 15 to Misquamicut and Westerly. Perfect location to check out South County. New England Saltbox style home with 2 large bedrooms and 1 bath, as well as a large living room, full kitchen and extra kids/hangout room. We actually live here, it’s not an investment property, so it’s setup to be cozy, comfortable and useable. It’s not fancy, it’s functional. The best part is the outside space, we have a large backyard, a fire pit, a hammock to take a nap in and a BBQ. All of which overlook an old quarry pond that is teeming with birds and even the odd American mink. This is a spot for people who want to escape the noise and relax while hitting the beaches or exploring the many great restaurants and outdoor spaces South County has to offer.
Tons of parking on site, bring your boat! There’s many places to launch nearby. Enjoy some time with your family/friends in our little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the summer home communities, while still being only minutes from everything!

Welcome to summer! Make lasting memories at this family-friendly, adorable cottage. The cottage is a short drive from the the beautiful town beach, an excellent spot for swimming, sun-bathing, and sandcastle building! The quiet neighborhood is perfect for walking, jogging, and bike riding. Bring your kayaks, canoes, and paddle-boards and explore Green Hill Pond, just around the block. Enjoy an al fresco dinner under the umbrella on the back patio. This cottage by-the-beach is waiting for you!

The space
The cottage comfortably sleeps 6. The spacious primary bedroom has a full-sized bed. The front bedroom has twin bunk beds. The middle room is set with a single twin bed, with a second twin trundled underneath. There is one full bath in the house, in addition to a peaceful, fully-enclosed outdoor shower. The dining room table is set for six, or make use of the kitchen stools for more casual meals. In the backyard you’ll find a picnic table with an umbrella.

There is a TV with a Roku in the living room, connected to the Wifi, with Netflix and Hulu. A DVD and VHS player is also available, with limited selection of each available (or bring your own!).

Wifi is available throughout the house.

The full kitchen has an electric burner. A gas grill is available for use on the back patio, as well as a fire pit.

Towels are located in the turquoise bench in the front bedroom. Beach chairs are located in the primary bedroom, behind the door.

Fans are located in bedroom closets. The area tends to get very cool at night.

Driveway can accommodate 1-2 cars. Additional cars should park in front of the house, parallel, pulled onto the grass. Please be mindful not to drive over the gardens!

The entire house is completely private for you and your guests. The maximum number of guests is 6, though we may make an exception for additional guests upon request (the living room couch pulls out into a full-sized bed).

Other things to note
There are many wonderful restaurants within a 10-20 minutes drive. The cottage is just a 20 minute drive to Narragansett and 25 minutes to Point Judith — we definitely recommend a day trip to Block Island!

Charlestown, RI, is an ideal spot for star-gazing — make sure to scan the skies for beautiful views before turning in for the night.

Enjoy a great stay at a cozy beach cottage surrounded by woods. Our property is a quaint and petite-bedroom home originally built as a summer cottage in the 1960s. Over the years it has seen a few renovations, including our overhaul in mid-2024. Great for a couple or young family looking to relax in a space that feels like their own. Plus, we welcome pets!

The property is over 10 acres, mostly woods, which creates a private feel. Deer, rabbits, and lots of birds can be seen on the property daily - come enjoy the wildlife! You are welcome to walk in our woods and explore, or stay closer to the house and enjoy the bbq and yard. For either, be sure to bring your bug spray!

For beachgoers, we have beach towels, an umbrella, and a few chairs available for use.

*Guest Space
You'll have the entire home available to you during your stay, with the exception to the locked basement. The guest space is one level, with no other living spaces above or below you, you will have total privacy.

*Amenities
Our small home offers a private one-bedroom with a queen size bed and closet. In the living room, you can relax on the couch while watching tv, and the kitchen is located right behind it. We have two mudrooms, a larger one (the sunroom) that welcomes you into the home and serves as a second sitting room, and a smaller one off the kitchen.

Our full kitchen offers guests use of the gas range (cooktop and oven), the mini dishwasher, a full-sized refrigerator, and an abundant selection of dishware. Guests are welcome to use our Nutribullet blender, Keurig coffee machine, French Press pot, coffee grinder, and electric hot water maker. A limited selection of tea, coffee, and kitchen cooking essentials will be provided.

The bathroom was recently renovated and features a deep(er) soaking tub! Feel free to take a bath while you are visiting.
**Please note that the deeper tub does mean that the sides are slightly higher than a regular tub, and a higher (15") hurdle to get into the tub/shower.

During summer, one window A/C is available to keep the space cool and comfortable even on hot, humid days.

We only rent the house during summer months, through October, so NO HEAT is provided (as it is typically not needed!) We do have 2 small portable heaters, if needed for the spring and fall months.

A car is recommended for your stay in Charlestown and you are welcome to park 1-2 vehicles in the driveway, just steps from the front door.

Access to the rental is provided through a smart lock, ensuring a smooth and secure check-in process.

*Pets
I welcome you to bring your well-behaved, house-trained pets with you while traveling and staying with us. Please make sure all pets are mentioned and checked in before booking. While they are here, your pets are 100% your responsibility, both when inside the house and out. The large yards and woods are great for obedient dogs who return when called, but please always be considerate of our neighbors, local wildlife, and anyone driving or walking by.

Inside the house, please keep your pet tidy. Animals are *not allowed* on any of the chairs, the couch, or the bed.

We offer a large dog bed for them to sleep on!

*Wildlife
It is normal to spot harmless bugs inside from time to time - bugs live in the woods, which we have plenty of! Mosquitos, moths, spiders, crickets, and ladybugs have been known to make their way inside from time to time. Except for mosquitos, we would prefer you leave the bugs to do their own thing or help return them to their outside homes whenever possible.

Outdoors, it is possible to see bees, wasps, ticks, deer, coyotes, rabbits, birds, toads, turtles, snakes, frogs, etc during your stay. Our goal is to keep a clean, tidy, and welcoming property inside & out, for you and the local wildlife alike. The outside critters are part of the experience, so please respect them when visiting! The ecosystem on the property is vibrant due to our multiple acres of natural forest!

*Noise
The house has neighbors on all sides, but all are generally very quiet and private. Please keep outside noise to a minimum and observe quiet hours of 9 pm on weeknights and 11 pm on weekends.

*Fire
We do not allow any type of fire on the property. This includes candles, use of the outside firepit, or use of the indoor fireplace. You will be liable for any damages that result from fire.

The inside fireplace is non-functional and using it results in the house being filled with smoke and soot stains.
***In no circumstance is the fireplace to be used.***

It is strictly off limits and breaking this rule will result in the guest being liable to pay fines to cover all damages.

The outside fire pit is not guest-ready and is not to be used.


*Caution & Common Sense Around the Property

Reminder, we are in the woods, so please use common sense and caution when walking around the property.
There are MANY rocks, stumps, roots and uneven areas of the yard that could cause you to fall. Please use caution, especially if you head out to the back garden area or woods.

On the property, on both sides of the house are stone and cement stairways that lead down to the backyard and basement door. Please avoid using these stairways as much as possible. We have put up a small fence on one side to protect our juvenile rose bushes but also to create a more noticeable barrier. Do not move this fence.

All brand-new beds, including brand new cooling memory foam mattresses in all beds. 1 queen bed, 3 full beds, 2 single beds and a sleeper sofa are available. Full large eat in kitchen with washer and dryer opens to a cozy family room. Large freshly painted living room and separate dining room with seating for 6 to 8. Enjoy central air, two decks, brick patio and an outdoor shower. Admire the crisp, contemporary decor and take in the peaceful surroundings, large yard to prowl around and look at nature making it all weather for you to enjoy, read a book, or just relax away from the house if needed.

Charming and cozy getaway home in a beautiful Charlestown beach community. This three bedroom home is located on a quiet corner lot just a short walk or bike ride to the Ocean Ridge Association offering access on Green Hill Pond including a boat ramp, kayaking, picnic area and sandy beach. Nicely fenced in lot with a patio and walk in outdoor shower. Less than 2 miles from Charlestown Beach and less than a mile to coffee shop, restaurants, ice cream shop and grocery!

Guest access
You are welcome to use all the spaces of the house and yard. We have a paddle board you are welcome to use. You have access to the ocean ridge association to put kayaks or paddle boards into the water. We provide a beach parking pass for the Charlestown town Beach and Blue Shutters Beach. (if you don’t take the pass, they will charge you $20 to park on the weekday and $30 on the weekend). You can drive to the beach or if you rent bikes or want a nice walk it is about 1.7 miles from the house.

Unique contemporary cottage near the beach in the quaint town of Charlestown

Kick back at the beach and watch the sunset. Go out to one of the many great restaurants nearby, or simply sit in the quiet backyard and gather around the fire pit. If visiting the Charlestown Beach (just a mile down the road), you'll be given a free pass to a private parking area. Charlestown is a lovely, quiet beach community but everything you might need -- from shopping to restaurants -- is very close by.

The space
The house is just under 1200 square feet. It has 3 bedrooms that can sleep 6 comfortably. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a number of little shops a few blocks away.

Guest access
The home has a keypad entry system. You will be given the password a few days before your rental begins.

Other things to note
Please note -- very important! We do not provide sheets or bath and beach towels. We used to do so but nobody used them and wanted to bring their own.

So you will need to bring:
1. Sheets for two queen beds and two full beds
2. Bath towels
3. Beach towels

The space
We have three queen-size bedrooms, one large private ensuite, and a pull-out double bed sofa in the living room. The space accommodates six guests, but for an extra fee, you can have two additional guests sleep on the pull-out sofa. Linens, towels, and pillows are included! You're all set!

Guest access
We are conveniently located off Route 1 and have easy access to fun activities in Rhode Island. Only 2.2 miles to Charlestown Beach by bike! It takes 10-15 minutes to reach Matunuck Beach, Wakefield shopping, and Narragansett Beaches, and 15 minutes to get to Westerly Beaches and downtown. Very friendly neighborhood!

Beach access information: We do not provide a cottage beach pass. Please contact the Charlestown Town Clerk's office to obtain a $120 unlimited beach pass registered to your name and vehicle. Alternatively, you can pay a $10-20 daily rate at any South County town beach. We will consider pets after discussing.
