This property is setup very nice, and can be used in a variety of ways.
Lots of sight seeing in the area with Gardner caves, Sweet creek falls, PeeWee Falls, Chain lakes on Hwy 20, Box Cannon Dam, Sullivan lake, and many more. Golf at Serendipity. There is a casino in Cusick 15 miles away. Gravel pit across hwy 20 that is great for target practice, biking, ATV riding, hiking, and sledding in the winter.

We spent a lot of time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

Welcome to this WONDERFUL Pend Oreille River Escape! Here you will experience a private and beautiful 4bd, 3ba home on 10 forested and naturally landscaped acres. With an open-concept floor plan and over 3,300 sqft of living space, there is room for everyone to have the perfect getaway for relaxation or fun on the water! Located just 1 hour north of Spokane, it’s perfectly situated for indoor and outdoor activities for any special occasion. Other activities this wonderful retreat is convenient for is fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. There is plenty to do in each season!

This home boasts 1,000 feet of waterfront that allows you to enjoy a walk along the private river and creek footage. Just make sure to check out the beaver dam! Common wildlife that can be seen from anywhere on the property are deer, Bald Eagles, Canadian Geese, ducks, and squirrels. Bring your fishing license and poles to enjoy fishing from the large composite EZ dock! Feel free to bring your boat or other water toys! There is plenty of parking for your vehicles and boat trailers in the large front driveway and parking area on the property. There is a county boat launch 3/4 of a mile away!

Outside amenities that are offered on the property include a large sandy beach, 3 kayaks, 2 canoes, 1 paddle boat, life vests, chairs, picnic table, umbrellas, large firepit for campfires and smores, hammocks, and swinging chairs. Outside games such as horseshoes, bean bag toss, and other games that are located in the large deck box are available for your enjoyment.

Enjoy gorgeous river views from the upper Trex deck or the stamped concrete patio from the walkout basement. There is ample seating for everyone to enjoy outside dining from the BBQ or roasted hot dogs. At sunset, move to the dock for the most beautiful photographic opportunities. Regardless of the location, you will find nature’s beauty here!

When you walk in the front door, you will be amazed by the vaulted ceilings and large prow windows leading you to the beautiful river view. Once inside, you will find that this retreat can easily accommodate sleeping for up to 14 people. In the kitchen, you will find all of the necessary cookware, dishes, and utensils that are needed for a short- or long-term stay. This kitchen supplies you with a large coffee pot, Keurig, air fryer, 4-slice toaster, pancake griddle, blender, microwave, stove, and full side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. The cabinets and pantry also provide some basic cooking necessities such as cooking spray, oil, and various seasonings. You will also enjoy the granite counter bar seating or dining at the table.

The large primary ensuite has its own walkout slider to the deck where there is a gas fireplace and comfortable patio chairs. There is a large jetted tub, walk-in shower and double vanity adjoining to the room.

The second bedroom on the main floor is equipped with a twin/full bunkbed and a twin trundle bed.

The main floor bathroom is easily accessible right off of the living room hall. It has a single vanity and a tub/shower combo.

The open concept basement is family friendly! There is a pool table, huge bean bags, teepee play tent, cozy seating area, and table with supplied board games and puzzles. In addition, there is an additional family area for movie time! Enjoy the large windows facing the river and still feel included in the outside festivities.

Each basement bedroom has a queen size bed and a set of twin bunkbeds. This makes it perfect for multi-family gatherings!

The beautiful and spacious bathroom downstairs is equipped with a double vanity and tub/shower combo.

For those not wanting to entirely disconnect from civilization, WiFi and 2 large smart TVs are available for your use. Netflix and Alexa are available as well. (Please note that this home is in a rural area and WiFi / hotspot performance may be spotty.)

Lots of waterfalls in the area. Sullivan Lake and Pend Oreille River is good for boating, fishing, picnicking and hiking. Boundary Dam, Box Canyon Dam, Gardener Caves all a very easy drive to explore. Only 25 miles from the Candian border and 45 miles from the Idaho border. Seasonal Hunting is close by. Lots of wildlife to enjoy watching on the property. Snowmobiling during the winter and atv riding all year long. Walking distance to the store, library, post office, restaurant, pizza parlor and coffee shop.

- "This property provided a great base camp for a few days of exploration of the North Pend Oreille area. A small older house—clean and well-equipped for cooking and entertainment for a whole family. Located right in the middle of town just a short walk away from classic small-town “bar & grill” eateries. One note: My phone’s Verizon data service did not work anywhere in Ione, so I had to use the house’s WiFi, which at different times varied in quality from good (able to stream video) to barely able to establish an internet connection. So be prepared for a possibly “rustic” online experience. The area is beautiful. I especially like Metaline Falls, just a bit north of Ione."

In the winter, it’s an ice-fishers paradise and close to multiple ski resorts!

THE SPACE
The home has been thoughtfully updated and features a large kitchen that is fully stocked with all the cookware and tools needed for in-home cooking. The 2 queen mattresses are premium memory foam to ensure a restful stay. Note, there are two bedrooms but one has a barn door divider to turn it into two separate spaces - see photos. The couch pulls out to a bed, for a total bed count of 5. The living room is the perfect place to relax in front of the propane fireplace and smart TV with full streaming services. There is a fully stocked laundry room for your convenience.

Outside, there are 2 kayaks and a paddleboard available for your use, as well as a propane grill on the deck. There is an outdoor dining table on the deck which is a prime spot the watch the bald eagles that nest on the lake soar by.

The home is located 40 minutes from North Spokane and about an hour from Spokane airport. The town of Newport is about a 20-minute drive away. Only minutes from 49 North Ski Hill, 35 minutes from Mt Spokane, and 50 minutes to Schweitzer. This home is far enough away from the city to feel disconnected from the hustle & bustle, but still close to nearby amenities!

GUEST ACCESS
In the Winter months the road is plowed privately. We recommend a car with studded snow tires or 4-wheel drive as the road could be packed with snow and there is a little incline coming in and out of the carport. It is accessible all year.

Note that there are about 25 steps leading up from the carport to enter the house, so this property is not ADA accessible and not recommended for those with mobility challenges.

OTHER NOTES
Please note there is no direct lake access and NO DOCK ACCESS. The community dock in the neighborhood is strictly for residents only per our rental permit and not accessible to guests. However the public boat launch is directly adjacent to the house just steps away. You'll notice folks using it throughout the day, but it's not usually crowded and we don't find it distractive.

There is NO central air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and tower fans in the bedrooms, and well as window fans and a small portable AC unit available in the bedroom closets. We find that we can usually get a nice cross breeze going on extra hot days by opening the windows to take advantage of the breeze coming off the lake. There are baseboard heaters in each room throughout the house.

Our home runs on a well. It’s safe to drink but please bring filtered water if you prefer, although there is a water filtration pitcher in the fridge.

- There isn't a lot of soundproofing or privacy in the 2 loft sleeping areas. If someone in the house is up in the morning, it may wake up the rest of the house. There are earplugs provided and sound machines in all sleeping quarters
- The river water levels are ever-changing, as are the beach and shoreline. Sometimes the water comes up to the grass, sometimes there is a 30-foot stretch of beach from grass to shore
- Your safety matters. This property features 2 exterior security cameras. Camera 1 is by the back door, aimed at the driveway. Camera 2 is on the deck, aimed at the yard/shoreline monitoring flood management. The cameras do not face any interior spaces. They actively record video and audio

Enjoy your stay at The Fishtails Cottage, our lakefront home and your tranquil respite for lake loving families. The cottage, surrounded by cedar trees, has direct access to your own private beach and dock. The 1400sf home was built in 1950 with its charming knotty pine interior throughout and tag-sale treasured furnishings. Slip off your shoes and enjoy the hardwood floors in your comfy slippers.

Our 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage sleeps 6; 1 queen bed in the main bedroom upstairs and 1 queen futon and 2 twin beds on the lower level. One full bathroom on the main floor. There is a television and a seating area downstairs along with a library of books and a few games. The lower level can be accessed by a narrow spiral staircase inside or outside access door.

The cottage offers essential supplies for the first 24 hours, including toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, coffee and tea, hand soap, bar soap and dishwashing soap. Guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies during their stay. All linens are provided, including beach towels. We are on a well and the water is safe for drinking.

Bring your own Firestick to stream movie, we will provide the Wifi.

Lounge on the deck, prepare your meals in the well equipped kitchen or the outdoor gas bbq. Fish the lake for trout and bass, hike, swim, read or nap under the trees, listen to music, meditate or watch the osprey and eagles fly overhead. Beautiful breathtaking sunsets or stargazing can be enjoyed from the dock or deck offering panoramic views. Nearby golf courses as well as shopping, antique stores, farmers market, live theatre, pow-wow grounds and wellness center in the area.

Be prepared for the cottage to be warm/hot in the summer with afternoon sunshine. There is a portable AC unit upstairs and fan downstairs which stays cool.

There are 2 kayaks and a small row boat available to you. Life preservers should be used for kayaks and boat. A few preservers are available during your stay to use. Additional vests can be borrowed and returned to the boat launch at the public access.

NO lifeguard on duty.Please watch your little ones, the water is deep. Use of beach, dock and recreation equipment is done at your own risk. Lake levels fluctuate from high to low. There will be natural growth and rocks along the lake bank. Caution should be advised accessing the lake.

Guests should note that the cottage, while well maintained, is not brand new showroom condition. Living in the woods, uneven ground, open decking, and walkways that include several steps. Toddlers, small children or anyone with mobility issues or unsafe judgement should excercise caution on the property. We want you to enjoy your stay and be aware of property details prior to your arrival to the cottage. This property is not ADA compliant.

Private roadside parking for 2 vehicles. No campers or RV’s. Please do not drive on the driveway leading to the front entry. Special arrangements can be made for those with mobility issues. You are welcome to bring your personal belongings to and from the roadside parking with our wagon. The driveway can be used for walking down but please do not drive as it is narrow and a little steep.

Essential services like electricity, water, internet, and sewer system are maintained by third party providers. Occasionally we lose power which means no water. If you experience a power outage for longer than a couple hours. The respective companies will address any issues with these services as quickly ASAP and the host cannot be held responsible for interruption.

There are 2 outdoor security cameras located on the property. One faces the walkway down to the entrance of the cottage and the other faces the dock area. The cameras are in place for your security. There are NO cameras inside the cottage. We take your privacy seriously.

The host cannot be held liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings or from any damage due to flooding, natural disaster, or unforseen events.

We have a close knit community on the lake and great neighbors. We expect our guests to follow the quiet hour rules with no loud music or partying. Any unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated. Noise should be taken inside after 10pm.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS OR OPEN FIRES AT ANYTIME IS PERMITTED due to dry conditions.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake home on Sacheen Lake. A short 40 min drive from Spokane and hour from Coeur D Alene, ID. “Margie” lake home is right on the water with 125+ ft of lake frontage and beautiful 40ft dock all to yourself. Enjoy the sandy beach and waterside firepit. A great place for all seasons.

The space
The Margie” is a lakefront, rancher style home with a daylight basement. Upon entry to the home, you will be immediately greeted by an open concept kitchen, dining and living room trimmed with expansive windows overlooking the lake.

The living room includes plenty of seating with two large couches and 50” flat screen including Apple TV streaming services. This area includes a pellet stove and AC unit to ensure the temperature is just right, no matter the season.

Adjacent to the kitchen and living room is the main floor’s bath with dual sinks and standing shower, along with the primary bedroom including a king size bed and plenty of storage.

From the living room, access one of Margie’s best features - the expansive, lakeside deck with a large cozy sectional, dining set, and propane fire table and bbq. The perfect spot to start or end your day on the lake! The sunsets are breathtaking.

Just down the stairs in the daylight basement, you will find 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with a large walk in shower, laundry room and family room.

The front bedroom is small with a full bed and side table. The closet has extra pillows and blankets.

The larger bedroom has a king bed, nightstands, rocking chair, and closet with extra pillows and blankets.

The back bedroom has a full bed with nightstand and dresser. This room includes the pressure tank and water heater behind a privacy screen.

The laundry is fully stocked with a brand new LG washer and dryer and extra refrigerator.

The family room has a large couch, futon that can be used for a bed, 2 leather recliners and flat screen including Apple TV streaming services. The large family room is perfect for family game night and you can choose from a variety of family friendly games available onsite.

From the family room, a sliding glass door provides direct access to the lake! When stepping outside you will have immediate access to Margie's private beach, firepit and boat dock.

Recreation Equipment
Please enjoy the paddle board. The cornhole and washer games are super fun and stored on the lower back patio, and are perfect when set up in the sand where it’s flat.

The beach has a large umbrella for shade and 2 lounge chairs.

The dock has a swim ladder and lounge chairs, as well.

Beach towels can be found in a basket near the sliding door in the basement, and towel hooks to dry towels are available just outside the basement sliding door.

Please keep in mind that there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Use of recreation equipment, dock, and beach, is done so at your own risk.

Parking
We have a private roadside parking area that will accommodate up to 4 small to mid-sized vehicles. Please, do not drive or park on the steep driveway leading to the front entry. For easy access and safety, please use the covered, lighted staircase adjacent to the roadside parking area. The stairs lead directly into a covered area, next to Margie’s front door that’s perfect for storing trip essentials. You will find a small blue cart in the covered area that you are welcome to use to bring your belongings to and from the roadside parking area for your stay. We suggest 2 people to maneuver the cart down the steep path.

Special accommodations may be made for travelers requiring assistance that can not navigate stairs. Please message me ahead of time for additional support and guidance. Most of the home is on a slope but could be negotiated with a wheelchair, etc if needed.

Boat Launch
The boat launch is just a few short blocks away from the property on Terrace Drive. You will pass it on your left, on your way to the Margie. The launch requires a discovery pass to access.

Convenient Store
There is a small convenient store just a mile north on Highway 211 called Store N’ More. They stock some essential food items, soda, beer, gas, ice, propane and newspapers. If you’re in need of a treat, swing by in the morning for wonderful fresh pastries and donuts!

Other Things to Know
Margie runs on a well which provides safe drinking water, but please bring filtered water if you prefer it. The refrigerator offers filtered water, as well.

This is a rancher style home with a daylight basement. You will enter from the road side into the Kitchen with an open view to the lake.

Guest access
The entire home is yours! Please park in the designated parking area just off the road. The driveway can be used for walking down but please do not drive on it as it is a little steep. Covered stairs from the parking area will lead you down into the carport and a flat walk to the home. There is plenty of room for 4 vehicles.

Other things to note
Our home runs on a well safe to drink but please bring filtered water if you prefer, although the refrigerator water is filtered.

The Sacheen sewer system is a complex pump system. Please be mindful not to flush anything that will harm it.

Power outages are not frequent but can happen in inclement weather or unforeseen accidents. Without power means no water. Please notify me if the power is out for longer than just a couple of hours. And we will make special accommodations for water.

There is a rock wall with no fence close to the house separating the slope from the house to the beach. Please watch little ones and use the steps to access the beach and dock.

There are 2 operational security cameras located in the driveway on the small shed and carport.The cameras are monitoring 24/7 for your safety. It records visually and audibly. The cameras face the driveway down to the entrance door. The cameras are not monitored. There are no cameras inside the home or in any outside areas where guests would hang out around the house, decks, or patio. We take your privacy seriously.

Please remember all house rules. We ask kindly no pets, no smoking inside the house, and remove shoes upon entering the home to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests. No parties. No exception. We strictly enforce the registered guest rule. Please ensure you have registered all of your guests before check in. And inform us of any changes to guests from original booking. Please be respectful to our friendly neighbors by keeping noise outside to a very minimum between 10pm and 7am. Our neighbors are our family!

In the Winter time it is slippery and there is about a 350 ft hike up a the hill to the treehouse. In the dryer months it is possible to drive up to the parking area below the treehouse and that would be about 100 ft hike up the hill.

This lake house is right on the water and has panoramic views of the lake from almost every room with beautiful views from the kitchen. You will have the best view of the sunset right on the water. We have blazing fast fiber optic WIFI. This lake house is a amazing getaway right on the water, Just 40 minutes from Spokane. Located only 25 minutes from 49 North Ski Hill and 35 from Mt Spokane and 50 minutes to Schweitzer. YOU HAVE TO COME SEE THE SUNSETS!!!!

- "I stayed with my family, nice outside deck for entertaining, easy access for our boat" - "We really enjoyed our stay here, hanging on the dock and deck, and cooking meals in the kitchen. I loved the island and the dining table fit all 8 of us!!! We had two families, two kids each and the home worked well. We did reach out to the owner who was responsive that the home indicated 4 bedrooms, but actually only has 3. The VRBO website/app counted a futon in the living room as a bedroom. I was not happy about this. Also, the downstairs bedroom has a spiral staircase to get to it; this is also the easier way in and out off the deck. So if you need full privacy (and better acoustics), this bedroom doesn’t offer it. It is the only bedroom with a bath room. The upstairs bedrooms both share a large hallway bathroom, too. Both upstairs rooms were quiet and comfortable. The septic alarm kept going off, which was a little annoying. We were told to hit a switch, but we couldn’t find it. I do wish the owner offered some compensation on the bedroom situation, as we thought we were paying for this. He apologized, however. Overall, we had a lovely visit. The stairs and steep driveway would make this a difficult home for some with knee issues, but I would otherwise highly recommend a visit to Sacheen lake! Bring an inflatable kayak if you don’t have a boat. There are speedboats but not too many which was nice."

1995-21 Ft. bunkhouse camp trailer. Water will be in containers. We are having well capacity challenges. Refrigerator works. No cooking inside. Water can be heated with the electric kettle. Think camping cabin but slightly nicer. Electric hot plate can be used outside. Composting toilet outside. Shower outside can be used with rechargeable pump & 5 gallon bucket. $10 for every extra person over 4 people. Bring your own bedding and towels.

The space
10 acres of mostly peaceful quiet, gentle breezes, and singing birds. Ok, it’s not quiet if my dogs are barking or the neighbor’s dogs are. I have 4 dogs. 2 LGDs & 2 mini Aussies. My son has two deaf dogs, (one is 15, the other 9 months old) and his border collie. 14 years old.
My husband collected farm implements and restored tractors. Tree thinning has made a bit of a mess, but it’s a good obstacle field to walk!

The space
When staying in our Downstairs Suite, you'll have access to:
-a master bedroom with a crazy comfortable queen bed
-Three twin beds for the kids (or extra adults)
-a couch big enough to sleep two middle linebackers!
-a living room with a large screen TV, a Blu-ray player, a huge couch, a rocking chair, and a wood burning stove
-a half-bath (with shower available upstairs upon request)
-a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, and coffee pot (with full kitchen available upstairs upon request)

In addition, we have:
-a back porch with chairs and table
-a large, fully fenced yard for the kids and pets
-two pear trees, two apple trees, and more strawberry plants than we can handle, all free for the picking when in season

Guest access
Access to the suite is by way of the back door to the right of the porch. Before you arrive, the last four digits of your given phone number will be entered into your door's electric lock to provide secure access to your Downstairs Suite for the duration of your stay.

The house is the white one with the white picket fence directly behind the only gas station in Metaline.

Park in the back in front of the garage. Pull the string on the post and open the gate. Come up the walkway to the sliding glass door and knock.

We recommend you stay off the grass, especially after dark. We have two dogs, and though we pick up dog bombs daily, they may have deposited something in the grass we haven't seen yet. Please use the paved walkway or the stone path.

During your stay
Some guests love to socialize, as do we. Some treasure their privacy. To that end, once we show you the Downstairs Suite, we try to stay out of your way and give you full privacy.

However, sometimes questions and needs arise. Should that be the case, you may call us, text us, or come upstairs to see us. Please do.

When you come upstairs to see us, to shower, or to use the full kitchen, we request you use the doorbell button on the kitchen door before entering. Press the button, count to five, then come on in.

You are always welcome upstairs.

Other things to note
Please read these three important notes before booking your stay:

1 - Normal Life Noises
Mary and Dan and two small dogs live on the main level of the house. It's 60 years old and the floors tend to creak and squeak. The Downstairs Suite where you will stay is directly under those creaky, squeaky floors.

We try to walk softly and as little as necessary, but some noise is inevitable.

If this is a concern for you or a reason you might rate us less than 5 stars, our feelings will not be hurt if you choose not to book with us, though we will miss getting to know you.

2 - Disability Access
The Metaline Downstairs Suite can only be accessed by a flight of steps. Because of that, we are sorry to say we cannot accommodate wheelchairs or anyone who cannot navigate stairs.

3 - The Shower

A rustic (not updated) log cabin out in the woods. It might seem isolated but we are right next door. There is a bridge connecting the 2 bedrooms. A/C installed for summer in master bedroom window. Most windows have screens for night time cooling. Our dogs are free to roam both properties. We have some farm animals including poultry.

All of the cabin will be yours to use. Guests can also utilize horseshoes and picnic tables outside. There is no fire pit since burning gets banned every summer.

The spacious, vaulted living-room with stunning views of the Pend Oreille is a great place to curl up by the cozy fireplace enjoying the view or reading a great book! Also upstairs is the queen sleigh bedroom with cozy linens and Pottery Barn duvet. Full hall bath is right around the corner. Laundry is easily accessible across the hall.

The entire downstairs is a comfortable queen bedroom suite with Pottery Barn furniture, cozy linens and a beautiful duvet. There is also a sitting area that can double as another bed! Full bath adjoins this space. This suite is accessed by a spiral staircase from above and also has an outside entrance. The patio overlooking the river has a hot tub with river views.

The third "bedroom" is actually a LOFT accessed by a ladder attached to the wall. In that space, will be two twin beds and a great hang out space for middle-aged kiddos!

The space
The home has been thoughtfully updated and features a large kitchen that is fully stocked with all the cookware and tools needed for in-home cooking. The 2 queen mattresses are memory foam to ensure a restful stay. Note, there are two bedrooms but one has a barn door divider to turn it into two separate spaces - see photos. The couch pulls out to a bed, for a total bed count of 5. The living room is the perfect place to relax in front of the propane fireplace and smart TV with full streaming services. There is a fully stocked laundry room for your convenience.

Outside, there are 2 kayaks and a paddleboard available for your use, as well as a propane grill on the deck. There is an outdoor dining table on the deck which is a prime spot the watch the bald eagles that nest on the lake soar by.

The home is located 40 minutes from North Spokane and about an hour from Spokane airport. The town of Newport is about a 20-minute drive and Silverwood theme park is 1 hour away. Only 45 minutes from 49 North Ski Hill, 35 minutes from Mt Spokane, and 50 minutes to Schweitzer. This home is far enough away from the city to feel disconnected from the hustle & bustle, but still close to nearby amenities!

In the Winter months the road is plowed privately. We recommend a car with studded snow tires or 4-wheel drive as the road could be packed with snow and there is a little incline coming in and out of the carport. It is accessible all year.

Note that there are about 25 steps leading up from the carport to enter the house, so this property is not ADA accessible and not recommended for those with mobility challenges.

Other things to note
Please note there is no direct lake access and NO DOCK ACCESS. The community dock in the neighborhood is strictly for residents only per our rental permit and not accessible to guests. However the public boat launch is directly adjacent to the house just steps away. You'll notice folks using it throughout the day, but it's not usually crowded and we don't find it distractive. Sacheen lake does not have a public "beach" area, just the public boat launch.

There is NO central air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan in the living room and tower fans in the bedrooms, and well as window fans and a small portable AC unit available in the bedroom closets. We find that we can usually get a nice cross breeze going on extra hot days by opening the windows to take advantage of the breeze coming off the lake. There are baseboard heaters in each room throughout the house.

Our home runs on a well. It’s safe to drink but please bring filtered water if you prefer, although there is a water filtration pitcher in the fridge.

The lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, and we include basic fishing gear along with one adult kayak and two kid-sized kayaks (150 lb max each).

On the deck, you’ll find a six-person hot tub, a pellet grill, a table with six chairs, a large three-bay umbrella, and an outdoor couch for lounging.

Inside, the home includes a kitchen with a stove, full-size fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and a hot/cold water cooler. There’s a half bath with a separate stand-up shower. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.

There is at least 2 acres of lawn between the house and beach.There is another small cabin on the property that we rent. There are also 4 more cabins that are used by family.

The space
The large new deck is the perfect restful place to sip coffee in the morning while listening to the birds and aspen leaves rustle. Paddle the canoe and kayak around the pond and keep an eye out for deer that often roam in the woods below the deck. Experience tranquility and your yoga routine here while nestled in the woods. Then, finish off the day with a sunset viewing before it’s time to enjoy the peaceful outdoor twinkle lights. Propane BBQ with BBQ tools on the back patio allows for picnic fun in the shade during the warm afternoons.

Guests have full access to the entire 3 bedroom house, the large new deck, back patio, and area surrounding the house. In addition, there is over a mile of private walking trails along the property’s private ponds and acreage.

Need to get away but stay connected? Fiber optic internet delivers optimal speeds for remote working, so you can still take care of business as needed, and then unplug in nature.

This lake house is right on the water and has panoramic views of the lake from almost every room with beautiful views from the kitchen. You will have the best view of the sunset right on the water. We have blazing fast fiber optic WIFI. This lake house is a amazing getaway right on the water, Just 40 minutes from Spokane. Located only minutes from 49 North Ski Hill and 35 from Mt Spokane and 50 minutes to Schweitzer. YOU HAVE TO COME SEE THE SUNSETS! NO PARTIES ALLOWED PLEASE RESPECT NEIGHBORS.

The space
Relax in the hot tub after a long day on the lake or make smores by the firepit or BBQ . We have sectional outdoor sofa you can enjoy throughout the day.

We share our driveway with our neighbors. Therefore, DO NOT PARK OR BLOCK THE SHARED DRIVEWAY AT ANY TIME.
Only park in the designated parking space on the right side of the driveway when going down the driveway. 4X4 IS A MUST IN THE WINTER!!!

The space
You will have the whole house with two decks, patio and beach to yourselves. Spacious open-concept home; great for one or two couples or a family.

Wake up to our gorgeous lake view from the king bed, full size futon, twin daybed and pull-out (twin) trundle, all upstairs.

Queen bedroom downstairs is much more private, with light blocking curtains, and has a TV and DVD player tucked away in the closet.

Other things to note
Nana's Lake House is about relaxing and disconnecting, however, we have relatively fast WIFI and a Smart TV that can be used for streaming (you provide the streaming service). A ROKU equipped second TV in bedroom is for watching movies from our selection of family-friendly DVDs and videos.

We have two room-size air conditioners to help with the summer heat. Additional fans are available during the summer months.

Diamond Lake does receive a fair amount of snow in the winter, so be prepared. Winter visits are so quiet and relaxing you might not want to go back home!
