- "We 3 senior ladies stayed here for our 70 year birthday trip. It was beautiful and we felt completely safe and at home there. The home is nicely deccorated, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed and more. There were TV's in each room with a large one in the Living Room. The back yard is lovely and well furnished also, and the beds were very comfy! Our car was secure in the garage while we Ubered to Disneyland each day. It was terrific!"

- "This is a great property. It essentially looks just like in the photos - so there's no unwanted surprises. The property was mostly pros, but I'll list a few cons too.THE PROS:- Just like the photos- Great neighborhood, good food within walking distance- Clean and safe- Very cool vibe, working basketball game, enormous TV.THE CONS:- The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathroom was just the same dial soap in three generic, expensive looking bottles. Definitely pack your own.- There are wine glasses available, so we bought wine. Unfortunately, there's no corkscrew so we had to get creative with a knife. If you're going to leave out wine glasses, a corkscrew makes sense. - The shower door handle fell off while I was in there. It was never screwed into place. There was a rain shower head but it was installed like a regular shower head (off the wall as opposed to off of the ceiling) meaning it just trickles when you try to use it. - The toilet paper dispenser was not properly installed, and the toilet paper would just fall off of it constantly. Most of the bathroom fixtures appeared to be installed in a rush or installed by someone who didn't fully know what they were doing. - The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were weirdly stiff and over-stuffed. - The bed on the loft is essentially not even usable as it's too perilous going up and down it in the middle of the night. It looked like fun but wasn't practical. CONCLUSION: Good overall."

- "We came to the Anaheim area for a vacation with my family. This house was perfect for us. In addition to myself and my husband, there was my son, his wife and their 1 year old, my daughter, her husband and their 2 year old, my 17 year old son and my 2 adult nephews. There were 4 bedrooms. 2 of the rooms had en suite bathrooms. 1 of the bedrooms was connected to the hall bathroom and the last bedroom was just across the hall from that bathroom so, it worked out amazingly. The kitchen had plenty of counter space for anything you would like to do. The fridge was large and had a working ice machine as well as a water dispenser. The hoop shooting machine was a huge draw for everyone there and they really enjoyed playing that as well as the arcade machine. Check in and check out were both super simple and Johnny was wonderful to work with. Both Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are pretty close. About a 10 or so minute drive to either one so, very easy commute. I could find nothing wrong with the house and would definitely stay here again."

The Space:
Our home is a lavish retreat with marble flooring, elegant countertops, and a luxurious marble shower. This spacious condo offers a large living room where you can relax by a cozy fireplace, enjoy your favorite shows on a 55" 4K Smart TV, and stay connected with super-fast 1000Mbps internet speed. For your convenience, we provide assigned parking.

The Living Room is adorned with an Italian Leather Sofa, creating a comfortable space to unwind. You can indulge in a wide range of entertainment options with Spectrum TV, offering 300+ channels. The room is further enhanced by a decorative gas fireplace.

In the Kitchen, you'll find all the cooking essentials you need, along with a Mr. Coffee Coffee Maker and a toaster. Basic cooking pots and pans, plates, utensils, and serving bowls are readily available. The gas stove is at your disposal, though please bring your own baking goods. Additionally, there's an in-unit Washer/Dryer for added convenience.

The Bedroom ensures a peaceful night's sleep on a Queen medium-firm memory foam mattress, and we've thoughtfully provided bedding and linens for your comfort. An Iron & Ironing Board are available to keep your clothes wrinkle-free, and you can keep things tidy with the Hamper.

The Bathroom is a haven of luxury, featuring the infamous TOTO Bidet Toilet with a remote control. If you've never used a bidet before, it's an experience you won't forget. The bathroom is tastefully decorated for your comfort, and we provide Shampoo, Hair conditioner, and Body wash for your convenience. You'll have 2 Large Towels, 2 Medium Towels, 2 Face Towels, and 2 Makeup removal towels, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The Neighborhood:
One of the nicest spots to explore in the neighborhood is the freshly transformed Downtown Santa Ana. If you happen to be in town on the first weekend of the month, you can enjoy a local artist's art stroll.

Our house is near restaurants, a mini-mart across the street, and bars/entertainment within walking distance. Santa Ana is getting better all the time, with new buildings, renovations, and street improvements. Because the shelters are so close, the locals are used to seeing transients roaming around. We have created gated gates around all of our entry points to ensure that all guests feel safe from public access, and we have installed security cameras throughout the property for added peace of mind.

You can find restaurants, bars, and entertainment within 5 minutes of our home.

Our home is gated with no public access.
Please be aware that as this is a garage space converted into a living area, there may be occasional loud sounds and noises that could disturb light sleepers. There is a server box next to the bed that may be a bit noisy for light sleepers, so you may want to consider bringing earplugs for such instances.
The bathroom is compact and may pose challenges for taller individuals.

Welcome to the Mandarin @ Main Place in the City of Orange!

Mandarins originated in India before traveling across China where they picked up the name “mandarin”, representing a symbol of good luck. Since at least the Qing dynasty, Chinese parents would place mandarin oranges beside the pillows of their children, along with red envelopes containing money under the pillow to ward off folkloric monsters. The children would then eat the fruits upon waking up the next morning.

The Mandarin is walkable to restaurants and entertainment and just a 10-minute drive to Disneyland, Old Town Orange, and Angel Stadium. It is close to beaches, John Wayne airport, and the Irvine Spectrum.

For your convenience in cleaning up any messes or spills we provide handiwipes and bar rags as an eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. We also provide Swedish dish cloths instead of sponges. There is a sign in the house explaining the benefits, however if you prefer paper towels or sponges during your stay feel free to bring them. We want to prepare you the best we can for an exceptional stay with us.

PETS: We are happy to announce our Happy Paws Community Program to help local animal shelters re-home and save the lives of animals.

We donate 25% of pet fees to a local shelter/animal rescue. We are also launching our Happy Paws promotion for pet parents who help us get the word out about the program.
To participate, follow the wick and easy steps in the guidebook under “Pet Parents” to post a picture of you and your furry family member. The picture must be posted before check-out and make sure to tag us. The refund will be provided back to you within 5 days of check-out.

The Short Term Pet discounted fee for non-shedding dogs is $25 per night per pet If your dog is on the list we will need a picture of you and your pet(s) (together) submitted prior to check-in day.
The Short Term regular Pet fee for other dogs or approved pets is $50 per night per pet.
The Long Term Pet fee (28+ nights or longer) is $150 per dog per month. For non-shedding pets on the list the monthly fee is $95 per month.

There is a refundable pet deposit if more than 2 approved pets of $500.

You’ll love my place because it is separate from the main house with its own entrance. You'll enjoy the light-filled rooms, the outdoor space and the quiet neighborhood.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, small families and small furry friends.

The space
My Airbnb area is composed of two bedrooms both equipped with coffee mugs and a Welcome snack basket. There is also a half sized refrigerator, a small microwave and a Keurig coffee maker and pods, sugar and creamers. These rooms share a bathroom. Each room has a theme, one is "Charming" and the other is "French". It's a great space for a family of 4 or for 2 couples or a small group of friends traveling together. The area has a separate entrance and is private from the rest of the house.

I provide K-cups, creamers and sugar and 2 mugs per room. Both rooms have TVs and access to the internet. There is no cable so come prepared with your Netflix, Hulu and Amazon account info! The space is what I call "hotel style" meaning that it is like a 2 bedroom hotel room - no kitchen or laundry access.

There is great outdoor space at this house. It really feels like a private resort. The pool is not heated but the sun shines most of the time in Southern California and the gas fire pit is a fabulous place to hang out in the evenings during any season!

We do live in the main house and are in and out. I love to meet new people and, when I am available, am happy to answer your questions and share travel stories as you like.

Guest access
You will have access to your bedrooms and private bathroom, the pool, fire pit and the table and chairs on the semi-covered courtyard outside the area entrance. My family and I also retain access to the outdoor areas so you may cross our paths during your stay. There is no access to the kitchen or any laundry facilities.

There is a broom and dustpan in the closet of one of the bedrooms as well as an iron and ironing board. I have also stocked plenty of cleaning supplies under the bathroom sink, including sanitizing wipes, sanitizing spray, windex, toilet cleaner and so forth. These items are for your use during your stay, please do not remove them from the space.

Other things to note
Pet Friendly/Pet Policy:

We love dogs and welcome your 40 lbs or less four-legged friend along with you during your stay for an additional $30 per pet non-refundable fee payable prior to check-in. I will send you a payment request via the Airbnb platform after you book. Cats may be allowed as well, depending upon the situation.

Dogs must be housebroken and be able to do their business outside. No indoor puppy potty pads please. Any damage will be the sole responsibility of the guest. Well behaved dogs may be left in the unit unattended.

Unfortunately there is no outdoor space for your dog to roam free. My backyard area, while lovely, is completely hardscape and pool. These is no grass back there and your dog may NOT be left in the backyard pool area unattended. Your dog will either need to be with you at all times (preferable), in your room or walking with you in the neighborhood on leash.

Outdoor Backyard Furniture:

Please feel free to remove the furniture covers and use all of the outdoor furniture by the pool. Please replace the covers on the furniture you have used after each use. The covers protect the furniture from all of the elements, including the sun.
