Important note! Be ready for authentic off-the-beaten-path driving! The cabin is located on a beautiful mountain road, however it is narrow (1 lane), windy, sometimes bumpy, and not well lit at night. You may see wild turkey, deer, rabbits, and dozens of small bird species along the drive including blue jays, quails, and roadrunners.

The Evergreen Room - Queen size velvet bed located on the lower level with the closest access to the hot tub and gameroom.

Game Room/Bedroom 4 - 2 queen beds (1 sofa bed and 1 murphy bed), pool table, dart board, card table, tv, hot tub, board/card games.

Bathrooms - vintage inspired tile, modern vanities, and equipped with extra amenities such as heated towel racks for a cozy cabin experience.

Parking - There is parking for up to 3 medium sized vehicles in the driveway. All vehicles must be less than 9ft wide to fit between the trees on the road!:) Level 2 EV charger on site. The driveway is unpaved and much of the roadway to the house is as well.

Humble Sea Brewing, Sushi San, and Redwood Pizza are some of the highlighted restaurants in Felton as well as Casa Nostra in Ben Lomond. Fantastic local grocery store Wild Roots.

Relax in the back yard inside the spa, at the huge picnic table or on the adirondack chairs while enjoying the majestic giant trees.
Steps away from the adventure courses of Mount Hermon and many creek trails. Twenty minutes to the Boardwalk and 15 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz.

This is a two story home.

The Upper level has:

Lower level has:
1) The Discovery Grove Bunk Room
2) The Roaring Camp queen bedroom
3) The Boardwalk queen room
4) Bathroom with shower

The home sleeps 10. Per the county rules: a maximum of 8 guests over age 8 are allowed. Children under 8 are allowed in addition to those 8 guests.

Bedroom 1: California King bed with memory foam mattress and Tempur-Pedic topper provides for a magical night's sleep. A comfy chair and a small TV are in the room. There is plenty of space in the closet for clothes and other items. The upstairs bathroom with tub/shower is right outside the bedroom door.

Bedroom 2: This bedroom is inspired by the Roaring Camp Railroad. Queen bed with memory foam mattress and Tempur-Pedic topper. Medium sized TV in the room. Standard closet and luggage racks. PLEASE NOTE: the bunk room access is through this room. So privacy is somewhat limited. The shelves in the room have board games for your group!

Bedroom 3: The Boardwalk room. Surrounded by sights of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, this room has a queen bed. A large dresser and luggage racks available for your items. No closet in this room.

Bedroom 4: Discovery Grove bunk room. Saving the best for last! This room is themed to match the Mount Hermon adventures that surround us just outside the house. Two tree house themed bunk beds with a suspension bridge in between them. A rope ladder to access the upper bunk. Murals surround you with redwoods. The wall opposite the beds has a climbing wall! Four beds for the adventurous kids in your group. No closet space in this room.
Guest access
There is plenty of space for three cars in our parking spots front of the home. The road to the home is very narrow, so drive carefully and be mindful of neighbors.
Other things to note
While this home is set up for a medium to large group, this is not a party house. The home is located in the middle of a tightknit community and we ask that all guests be respectful of their surroundings.

Also, the access to the bunk room is THROUGH the queen bedroom. So privacy is somewhat limited for guests sleeping in the queen bedroom.

This house is in the middle of a redwood forest. Redwood trees are notorious for constantly dropping branches, fronds and seedpods. As such, the deck and yard will likely have these materials strewn about even if the house was just cleaned. Also, because it is a forest, the terrain can be rough in the backyard and may not be suitable for children who are prone to injury. Please keep an eye on your children while outside.

Our boys loved it! The property was so clean and well appointed. The art work in the bunk room was gorgeous and the boys loved the bunks and the bridge between them. My granddaughter found the boardwalk room to be delightful. CornHole. Hot tub under the patio lights. Trampoline. Tetherball. Games. This place is perfect for a vacation! Did I mention how clean it was?!"

Our home is nestled in the quiet hills of Wine Country. With its own private entrance, we have a two bedroom apartment for you to enjoy. Both rooms have King Beds and full private bathrooms, one of which has a large soaking tub and double sinks. A small kitchenette (please note: no oven available), couch, TV with streaming, table, games and fireplace are in the living room. This is a great space for a family or two couples on a trip together.
The space
You can't help but relax and unwind after leaving the freeway and driving past farms, ranches, and wineries to our little getaway. Just a few minutes from town, our home is located on a small hilltop in the beautiful wine country. We are also less than 2 miles from Wild Horse, Bella Luna, Hidden Oak, and Fableist Wineries. Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting! Feel free to walk around our 6 acres, play lawn games on the soccer field, enjoy outdoor seating areas throughout, and try out our kid's beloved rope swing if you dare. :) We have sheep grazing in the valley, baby lambs during the appropriate season, and the sweetest guard dogs named Wampa and Phazzy who protect our flock.

While our guest wing is attached to our main house, we keep the corridor locked and welcome you in with your own private entrance and walkway. We recently purchased new mattresses for both bedrooms and replaced the queen bed with a king (so both rooms have kings!). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. There is also a separate TV in the master bedroom. A Graco Pack N Play with clean sheets is available upon request.

Get away from it all and find peace and privacy at this storybook cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nestled at the edge of a babbling creek, this cabin is a place for basking in the scenery of a lush woodland grove, observing passing wildlife, and unwinding each evening in a private hot tub.

The cabin sits at the end of a country road on a remote property shared with only one other cabin. You'll have a small beach area at the base of tall trees by the creek where you can sit with your morning coffee, a good book in the afternoon, or a glass of local wine at golden hour.

Cross the bridge, descend the staircase, and enter the cabin from a lovely, wraparound deck. It's a beautiful spot for alfresco meals, listening to the sounds of the creek and soaking away any lingering cares in the hot tub.

The interior is a striking, light-filled space where white walls reflect the sunshine, skylights bring the tree canopy indoors, and beamed ceilings add charm and atmosphere. At the heart of the home is a contemporary living room where you can curl up on foggy mornings and evenings in the warmth of a pellet stove. This cabin shares its property with one other cabin, which may be occupied as well.
You must cross a bridge and descend a staircase to reach the cabin.
The neighbor owns roosters, so you will occasionally hear them. Also, the woods and mountains of Santa Cruz are home to all sorts of wildlife, including mountain lions, bobcats, deer, cranes, ticks, spiders, and beetles. Please take appropriate precautions.

Parking notes: There is space for two cars. The 1.5 miles of road near the cabin is a single-lane road with traffic that goes both ways.

Welcome to Voss Gardens! Or as our guests call it "Foodie Heaven!"

Since 2013, prior to the pandemic, over 600 guests from 27 countries have shared the wonders of our home. Since reopening gradually in the summer 2022 we have updated our cleanliness standards and mindful house sharing routines to make us all more comfortable.

We are casual and rustic chic here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Consider the rooms like glamped up cabins. Perched in the redwoods, our home is designed in classic 70's style architecture ,built by our family of engineers and artists. Over the years an assemblage of art, antiques and curios have charmed their way into the spacious rooms and lofts. We offer 6 acres of quiet ambiance for guests and business travelers. Surrounded by wildlife, our year round Organic Gardens have provided robust greens for chefs in the Bay Area as well as special meals for our guests.

We make every effort to maintain cleanliness. However, our mountain well water has a high mineral content and 40 years of buildup has left our facilities with a rusty looking surface that is extremely difficult to remove. We sanitize regularly and ask our guests to please keep this in mind. Consider it part of the charm of mountain living.

Although our location is central to all the area has to offer, you may just want to sit outside, commune with the muse, ponder the profundities, finish that novel, paint a landscape, breathe deeply....

We share our well with several other households, and guests are kindly asked to limit their showers to 5 minutes. See below for details on our specially ordered gourmet meals. This occupies the only living space of our 3 story town home. Originally intended to be an in-law unit we have remodeled the space for friends and family visits as well as airbnb guests. The room has a closet with hangers, bathroom with shower, TV, mini fridge, and bluetooth speaker. You are welcome to use the adjoining courtyard. We have an extra space heater, towels, and blankets.

Guest suite with ensuite bathroom and courtyard. There is guest parking that requires a parking permit. This will be inside on the desk. In the event that guest parking is full there are on streets parking options a block away.

Other things to note
We have a hyper friendly cat who may try to come in our guest suite but we try to keep him out for those who may have allergies.

We also have 2 kids (5 and 15) who are in and out of the house when we are in town.

Our cozy room has a private entrance and private bathroom. Located in a quiet, residential area. We are 10 minutes from the beach in Santa Cruz, 40 min. (depending on traffic) from Monterey, 10 min. from the Redwoods and San Francisco in a little over an hour. Our backyard is home to many a bird and squirrel; a private deck which is a delightful place to have your coffee in the morning if you wish. A BBQ is available and an outdoor eating area. We're minutes from 1440 Conference Center.

The space
The room entrance is up the driveway and to the right in our backyard. There are two steps up on to the deck and the entrance is a sliding French door. It has a queen bed, recliner, television, mini frig, Keurig and microwave. Outdoor space for relaxing and sitting.

Welcome to Ryder Rancheria and the Ryder Game Cabin a 2 bd/1ba, sofa bed, and air mattress. A mostly enclosed yard with plenty of outdoor seating and a hammock. Disc Golf practice basket and large size Connect Four game.

Hiking up the hill with a disc golf course. Play 5 baskets up the hill, 4 back, then repeat. More recreation to come...please give us your ideas.

The space
Tv's throughout the space, one is a fire stick only. no cable TV, sign on to your own viewing subscriptions with smart TV. Blue Tooth speakers.

The living room space is a game room with a sleeping couch. Just lift the ottoman lid.

A small kitchenette, so we added a wet bar in the guest room with an air fryer, Ninja blender, mini fridge, dishwasher, and laundry.

The property is powered by a Generac generator when PGandE is out.

We do not offer BBQ, but you are welcome to bring your own propane or electrical. No fire is allowed on the property.

This unit is not pet-friendly. The Log Cabin and Royal Cottage are pet-friendly.

On the property are 4 unique experiences that are overnight stays. You are in the Ryder Rancheria Royal Game Cabin.

Up the left side driveway is the Ryder Rancheria Log Cabin and Ryder Rancheria Royal Cottage and to the right of you is the Ryder Rancheria Captain's Den. All a themed experience.

The Ryder Game House and front yard. Hiking for everyone is available up the hill. The trail starts in front of the Ryder Log Cabin. There is a hidden trailhead in the back of the Ryder Game Cabin.

The property has a generator and during your stay if the power goes out. It will start up within minutes to keep the lights on for you.

Please note you are in a small neighborhood. We ask that if you interact with neighbors you treat them with respect. You may meet them on the road or walking around.
There is a neighbor that lets his dog chase your car. Please be respectful at all times when visiting. If I get a call that says otherwise, you may be asked to leave with no refund. Thank you!

Other things to note
Please note when the plumber installed the shower faucet he did it backwards. So the red is cold and the blue is hot. Sorry for any confusion. We would have to break title to fix so we choose to just tell you instead.

Guess can access the tiny cabin all to themselves. The property is shared with other vacationing visitors. The Ryder Log Cabin and Ryder Royal Cottage are located on the left driveway. Please do not forget to hike the hill behind you and see the progress of the upper ranch. Soon to be a fun hangout for all.

This beautiful space is conveniently located off Highway 17.

Just a short drive to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Mystery Spot, West Cliff and Roaring Camp. Minutes to wonderful restaurants, markets, coffee shops, and gift shops.

Take advantage of the newly paved back road that undulates downhill through the forest to the beaches.

Redwoods and oaks are abundant here, as well as deer, Red-tailed hawks, wild turkey, coyote, quail, and Banana slugs.

The space
This unique space has 2 comfortable queen beds (one downstairs, one in loft), dreamy organic linens and towels, a full kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and a dry compost toilet that is simple to use.

The large deck out front accommodates a comfortable outdoor sectional, a table and chairs and a propane BBQ.

Extending into nature, you will find a jacuzzi, a propane fire-pit, a picnic table and a few hammocks, all available for your own private use.

We have plenty of space for large vehicles. Gear such as surfboards, kiteboards, etc. can easily be stored on site.

Although the guest house is attached to the main house, the homeowners will provide you with privacy within your own space.

Nestled overlooking a babbling creek, this cabin is a place for basking in the scenery of a lush woodland grove and observing passing wildlife.

The space
The cabin sits at the end of a country road on a remote property shared with only one other cabin. You'll have a small beach area at the base of tall trees by the creek where you can sit with your morning coffee, a good book in the afternoon, or a glass of local wine at golden hour. Green Cabin is the second cabin on the property. It sits at the back of the property, surrounded by redwoods, and overlooking the river below. Enjoy cooking dinner on the Traeger BBQ on the patio, and then relax on the outdoor couch or chairs, heat lamp for the chilly evenings.

The interior is a striking, light-filled space where white walls reflect the sunshine, skylights bring the tree canopy indoors, and beamed ceilings add
charm and atmosphere. At the heart of the home is a contemporary living room where you can curl up on foggy mornings and evenings in the warmth of a pellet stove. The adjacent kitchenette is compact but beautifully equipped with appliances and all the essential cookware. The kitchenette does not have a dishwasher, oven or stove, but it does have a microwave, hot plate and toaster oven.

There is a path behind the home that leads to the creek. Enjoy, but please do take care. This past winter has brought about unexpected changes to the property, and sometimes even discarded trash may be found at the river. Please don't bring glass, and pack out what you pack in.

Other things to note
This home is semi-off grid. It does have adequate electricity, but it is on a water tank, and has a small water heater. Please consider when you are using the hot water for showering or washing dishes that after the 10 gallon water tank is empty, it will automatically refill, and take approximately 20 minutes to re heat. If you use technology a lot, especially if you are wanting to do a lot of streaming, we advise that you download things ahead of time, so that you are not disappointed. The Wi-Fi does work here but it may not be the same level that you’re used to or may require for work, etc.

Please also note that this is one of two cabins on our multi acre property. The two cabins sit along the river, approximately 300 feet apart from one another and share a common parking area (very large). There is also one trash and one recycling can for the two cabins, near to where you park.

The space
This 1950s log cabin-style home sits among redwoods on eight acres we call Ryder Rancheria.

Fully stocked for your stay, this cabin has a gas fireplace that lights and have a flame up and down setting. We have games and puzzles, wifi, TVs in every room, a stereo system, lighting, a fully stocked kitchen, and outdoor games.
Our rustic décor will remind you of home for the holidays with an American flare. Lots of detailed artist touches, without overcrowding the space.
We welcome dogs but ask that you never leave them alone in the space and place sheets on furniture and bedding covers when allowing dogs on them. We have extra sheets and dog covers in drawers.

Min split heating and AC unit in the main room, the remote is on the wall by the phone and kitchen bar. The remote for the gas fireplace is on the wall by the bedroom door. The instruction manual is left out by the welcome binder.

The property is powered by a Generac generator when PGandE is out.

We do not offer BBQ, but you are welcome to bring your own propane or electrical. No fire is allowed on the property.


On the property are 4 unique experiences that are overnight stays. You are in the Ryder Rancheria Log Cabin.


Down the right side driveway is the Ryder Rancheria Game Cabin and Ryder Rancheria Captain's Den and to the right of you is the Ryder Rancheria Royal Cottage. All a themed experience.
Stay in all four and make sure to visit Spa Santangelo, your co-host, Melissa's business of 17 yrs. The hidden gem of the Santa Cruz Mountains winner of the best of in Santa Cruz.

Guest access
Guest can access the front yard for parking, deck and full house. The laundry room can be used, we also use it. Hiking from cabin is possible up hill, you may run into neighbors. Jon owner may be around from time to time. Melissa is the co-host and contact, if you have questions. She is there from time to time as well.
Please no smoking or vaping inside cabin or on deck. You can smoke in the bbq area on the gravel. Please clean up after yourself. No incense at all!
Please note you are in a small neighborhood. We ask that if you interact with neighbors that you treat them with respect. You may meet them on the road or walking around. There is a neighbor that let's his dog chase your car. Please be respectful at all times when visiting. If I get a call that says otherwise, you may be asked to leave with no refund. Thank you!

Other things to note
We are dog friendly but require a $25.00 per pet fee. Pay this fee at booking by using the resolution center and then the send money button. Please never leave dogs unattended in the cabin or yard. Use an extra sheet (in drawers) when allowing your dog up on our bedding or couch. Make sure to clean up after your pet.

Over night guests over 4 persons are a $75.00 fee per guest. Please give us the correct number of people and pets in your reservation or you will need to pay these fees by using the resolution center and send money button. There is one blow up bed in the closets to use. We ask that you put it back as found. Bring your own blankets and pillows. We will provide extra sheets upon request.

Nestled at the edge of a babbling creek, this
cabin is a place for basking in the scenery of a lush
woodland grove, observing passing wildlife, and
unwinding each evening in a private hot tub.

The space
Sweet and peaceful log cabin right on the river. This one bedroom home also has a sleeping loft with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Entirely updated and remodeled in the last few years, large deck, creek access, hot tub, Traeger pellet BBQ, remote controlled air conditioner/heating system, pellet fireplace and more. the space has everything you would need for a relaxing vacation.

Other things to note
There are games, books, kids toys, and so many things to keep entertained. There is NO TV, but there is strong WI-FI, and great phone reception. Because this home is in a rural setting, I’m practically off grid, utilities may not be what you are used to. Please be aware that the Wi-Fi is strong, but it may not be the same level that you’re used to and perhaps downloading to your device, if there is something that is necessary to participate in or watch during your stay.

Please also note that this is one of two cabins on our multi acre property. The two cabins sit along the river, approximately 300 feet apart from one another and share a common parking area (very large). There is also one trash and one recycling can for the two cabins, near to where you park.

Relax in the peaceful Santa Cruz mountains. Located just north of Scotts Valley, our cozy 1BR/1BA guest unit has easy access to Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz and the San Lorenzo Valley. Whether relaxing on the deck with your morning cup of coffee or sitting around the firepit with an evening glass of wine, the wild turkeys and deer will be sure to meander by to say hello!

We do have permanent tenants living directly next to where guests will be staying. They typically leave on the weekends but there is a chance that they could be staying during a guests stay. House is located directly off highway so please keep that in mind as that tends to be a challenge for guests in the past.
