Important note! Be ready for authentic off-the-beaten-path driving! The cabin is located on a beautiful mountain road, however it is narrow (1 lane), windy, sometimes bumpy, and not well lit at night. You may see wild turkey, deer, rabbits, and dozens of small bird species along the drive including blue jays, quails, and roadrunners.

The Main Deck off the game room features a seating area, propane bbq grill, and picnic table for enjoying your getaway.

The Felton Room - King size bed with large picture windows giving this bedroom the best views in the cabin.

The Evergreen Room - Queen size velvet bed located on the lower level with the closest access to the hot tub and gameroom.

Game Room/Bedroom 4 - 2 queen beds (1 sofa bed and 1 murphy bed), pool table, dart board, card table, tv, hot tub, board/card games.

Bathrooms - vintage inspired tile, modern vanities, and equipped with extra amenities such as heated towel racks for a cozy cabin experience.

Parking - There is parking for up to 3 medium sized vehicles in the driveway. All vehicles must be less than 9ft wide to fit between the trees on the road!:) Level 2 EV charger on site. The driveway is unpaved and much of the roadway to the house is as well.

Felton is a cozy small town located in the redwoods with various outdoor activities including Mount Hermon, Roaring Camp Railroad, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Fall Creek Wilderness Trails, and UCSC Mountain Biking Trails which is next to Wilder Ranch. Humble Sea Brewing, Sushi San, and Redwood Pizza are some of the highlighted restaurants in Felton as well as Casa Nostra in Ben Lomond. Fantastic local grocery store Wild Roots.

Massive Redwoods surround you while you stay at this amazing retreat home in Mount Hermon. Any kids in your group will be blown away by the tree house bunk room with climbing wall. Relax in the back yard inside the spa, at the huge picnic table or on the adirondack chairs while enjoying the majestic giant trees.
Steps away from the adventure courses of Mount Hermon and many creek trails. Twenty minutes to the Boardwalk and 15 minutes to downtown Santa Cruz.

This is a two story home.

The Upper level has:

Lower level has:
1) The Discovery Grove Bunk Room
2) The Roaring Camp queen bedroom
3) The Boardwalk queen room
4) Bathroom with shower

The home sleeps 10. Per the county rules: a maximum of 8 guests over age 8 are allowed. Children under 8 are allowed in addition to those 8 guests.

Bedroom 1: California King bed with memory foam mattress and Tempur-Pedic topper provides for a magical night's sleep. A comfy chair and a small TV are in the room. There is plenty of space in the closet for clothes and other items. The upstairs bathroom with tub/shower is right outside the bedroom door.

Bedroom 2: This bedroom is inspired by the Roaring Camp Railroad. Queen bed with memory foam mattress and Tempur-Pedic topper. Medium sized TV in the room. Standard closet and luggage racks. PLEASE NOTE: the bunk room access is through this room. So privacy is somewhat limited. The shelves in the room have board games for your group!

Bedroom 3: The Boardwalk room. Surrounded by sights of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, this room has a queen bed. A large dresser and luggage racks available for your items. No closet in this room.

Bedroom 4: Discovery Grove bunk room. Saving the best for last! This room is themed to match the Mount Hermon adventures that surround us just outside the house. Two tree house themed bunk beds with a suspension bridge in between them. A rope ladder to access the upper bunk. Murals surround you with redwoods. The wall opposite the beds has a climbing wall! Four beds for the adventurous kids in your group. No closet space in this room.
Guest access
There is plenty of space for three cars in our parking spots front of the home. The road to the home is very narrow, so drive carefully and be mindful of neighbors.
Other things to note
While this home is set up for a medium to large group, this is not a party house. The home is located in the middle of a tightknit community and we ask that all guests be respectful of their surroundings.

Also, the access to the bunk room is THROUGH the queen bedroom. So privacy is somewhat limited for guests sleeping in the queen bedroom.

This house is in the middle of a redwood forest. Redwood trees are notorious for constantly dropping branches, fronds and seedpods. As such, the deck and yard will likely have these materials strewn about even if the house was just cleaned. Also, because it is a forest, the terrain can be rough in the backyard and may not be suitable for children who are prone to injury. Please keep an eye on your children while outside.

Our boys loved it! The property was so clean and well appointed. The art work in the bunk room was gorgeous and the boys loved the bunks and the bridge between them. My granddaughter found the boardwalk room to be delightful. CornHole. Hot tub under the patio lights. Trampoline. Tetherball. Games. This place is perfect for a vacation! Did I mention how clean it was?!"

Our home is nestled in the quiet hills of Wine Country. With its own private entrance, we have a two bedroom apartment for you to enjoy. Both rooms have King Beds and full private bathrooms, one of which has a large soaking tub and double sinks. A small kitchenette (please note: no oven available), couch, TV with streaming, table, games and fireplace are in the living room. This is a great space for a family or two couples on a trip together.
The space
You can't help but relax and unwind after leaving the freeway and driving past farms, ranches, and wineries to our little getaway. Just a few minutes from town, our home is located on a small hilltop in the beautiful wine country. We are also less than 2 miles from Wild Horse, Bella Luna, Hidden Oak, and Fableist Wineries. Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting! Feel free to walk around our 6 acres, play lawn games on the soccer field, enjoy outdoor seating areas throughout, and try out our kid's beloved rope swing if you dare. :) We have sheep grazing in the valley, baby lambs during the appropriate season, and the sweetest guard dogs named Wampa and Phazzy who protect our flock.

While our guest wing is attached to our main house, we keep the corridor locked and welcome you in with your own private entrance and walkway. We recently purchased new mattresses for both bedrooms and replaced the queen bed with a king (so both rooms have kings!). Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. There is also a separate TV in the master bedroom. A Graco Pack N Play with clean sheets is available upon request.

The living area has its own small kitchen area, complete with mini fridge, toaster oven, electric griddle, two hot plates with a couple of pans, Keurig coffee pot with pods, microwave and all the dishes, glasses, and silverware you might need. Please note, the kitchenette does NOT have a regular oven.

There is also a comfy couch, dining area, large TV with streaming, and games. For an additional charge of $20/night bedding & towels can be provided for the queen size sofa sleeper in the living room for an additional 2 guests. Laundry is also available upon request.

We look forward to welcoming you with your own keys to the guest wing. Plenty of parking is just outside your door. If we are unavailable, we will supply you with the code to access the key with the lock box. Please note: while we do have Wi-Fi, we are also located in the country; It isn't always reliable or fast.

The spaces are located in a gated property. This private entry suite is perfect for your romantic weekend, proposal, anniversary.
Our studio has an open plan living area with skylights that allows for great natural lighting. In the evening you may hear the sounds of the forest denizens, like crickets and owls, as you relax in front of the fire and look out to the stars. There are brand new furnishings, tastefully chosen to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The queen size bed is a sumptuous pillow top and medium support mattress, with luxury cotton sheets, and a cozy down alternative comforter.
Full kitchen with use of refrigerator, microwave, toaster, oven and coffee maker. For even more dining options there is a deck with gas grill, great for taking your morning coffee or dinner.

Additional rules
- Pets are NOT allowed. Bringing a pet without authorization forfeits your deposit and you will be asked to check-out early without a refund.
- We kindly request that there be no parties or drug use.
- Smoking and vaping is only allowed outside by the fountain.
- No swimming, boating or fishing in the pond.

This is not a good place for gatherings or parties so please keep that in mind when booking this home. We are very respectful of our neighbors and will not tolerate loud noise past curfew and additional guests at the property.

- In the event of a power outage, the house is equipped with an automatic backup generator that can power the entire home.
- The landscapers will be at the property on Mondays to take the trash down to the bottom of the road, and they will return on Wednesday mornings to bring it back.
- This is a shared property, with other tenants living in the unit below. We ask that you please be respectful of their space and mindful of noise, particularly during quiet hours.
- We have landscapers, pest service, pool service, and other property maintenance done on a weekly basis. You may see or hear these service professionals during your stay as they let themselves into the backyard to service as needed. Please be sure to ask about this before booking if you think it might be an issue for you.
- TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. There are no cable or local channels.
- The exterior of this home is monitored by 24/7 surveillance recording devices for safety.
- We are required to stick to our cancellation policy and we suggest adding trip insurance for any last minute issues that may impact your travel (Weather, Illness, etc). We are not able to cancel, move or refund bookings that do not fall in our cancellation policy for any reason.

Get away from it all and find peace and privacy at this storybook cabin in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nestled at the edge of a babbling creek, this cabin is a place for basking in the scenery of a lush woodland grove, observing passing wildlife, and unwinding each evening in a private hot tub.

The cabin sits at the end of a country road on a remote property shared with only one other cabin. You'll have a small beach area at the base of tall trees by the creek where you can sit with your morning coffee, a good book in the afternoon, or a glass of local wine at golden hour.

Cross the bridge, descend the staircase, and enter the cabin from a lovely, wraparound deck. It's a beautiful spot for alfresco meals, listening to the sounds of the creek and soaking away any lingering cares in the hot tub.

The interior is a striking, light-filled space where white walls reflect the sunshine, skylights bring the tree canopy indoors, and beamed ceilings add charm and atmosphere. At the heart of the home is a contemporary living room where you can curl up on foggy mornings and evenings in the warmth of a pellet stove. The adjacent kitchen is compact but beautifully equipped with stainless steel appliances and all the essential cookware.

As for the bedroom, this tranquil, window-lined space will make you feel like you're waking up in a treehouse.

THINGS TO KNOW
This cabin shares its property with one other cabin, which may be occupied as well.
You must cross a bridge and descend a staircase to reach the cabin.
The neighbor owns roosters, so you will occasionally hear them. Also, the woods and mountains of Santa Cruz are home to all sorts of wildlife, including mountain lions, bobcats, deer, cranes, ticks, spiders, and beetles. Please take appropriate precautions.

Parking notes: There is space for two cars. The 1.5 miles of road near the cabin is a single-lane road with traffic that goes both ways.

Our apartment has a full kitchen with a gas range and oven, fully stocked for cooking. Living space has a new smart TV and dining for two. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, new wood laminate floor, a walk in closet, and full bath with a tub and shower combo. Laundry is located adjacent to the apartment.
There’s a fire pit outside guests can use for a cozy wood fire.
We’re ten minutes from the beaches and 20 minutes from Henry Cowell State Park, where you can take in old growth redwoods. Our property also has neighborhood hiking trails through redwoods that you can access.
