- "We were in the area again to visit my son who attends UC Merced. We chose to stay here again as our first visit was such a positive experience. The second stay was no different. The floor plan is very open/welcoming, the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, plenty of towels, laundry room and the back yard is really nice to hang out in during the evening with a fire in the fire ring. When it gets too cold even with a fire, the inside pellet furnace (pellets included) is very nice to gather around. The location is close to these great walking/biking trails that seem to go forever along creeks and through tree-ed areas with surprising wildlife such as wood ducks. This trip had the added bonus of a few valentine treats provided by the hosts. A very nice touch! My 80 year old parents joined us on this trip and were able to get around the house with no problems. The hosts also make the garage available which is nice for loading/unloading. The hosts provide the right level of communication to let you know they are there for help and also respect your privacy. Overall another very nice stay and we will be back for another visit. Thanks again!"

Our home was recently remodeled with brand new furniture, appliances and Smart TV and equipment's. Home away from home in La Grange with 2 bedrooms and 3 car garage with plenty of additional parking on the 4 acres of land. This charming house features of a large master bedroom with a California king bed, bunk bed (queen bed, twin bed, and child bed-pullout), with a walk in closet and access to balcony from master bed room and family room. Guest bedroom has two queen beds and a closet for storage. Enjoy the cozy living room with a sofa bed for extra space. With 2 bathrooms equipped with a bathtub and shower, guests will feel right at home. We provided extra blowup mattress and additional sheets and blankets in each room for comfort. We also have extra towels available with Shampoo, Conditioners and body wash in each bathroom. Kitchen is fully stocked with all you will need to cook and enjoy meals with your family and friends. Experience what La Grange has to offer with a stay at our fabulous house. There are 2 fishing pods within a 5 -10 minute walk from our home. A natural waterfall within 10 minute walk during the raining season. Lots of hiking and sight seeing. If you are lucky you will get to see an Owl, wild turkeys, and occasionally cows, goats and sheep.

- "Lovely, perfectly clean, and comfortable home which served as a wonderful hub after our days out on the lake. The marina is only about 10 minutes away which was very convenient. We enjoyed all the amenities of home and appreciated the large dining table for eating meals together and playing games. The WiFi worked great which is an important feature for our family of teenagers. A/C works great too! The owner also provided basic toiletries in the bathrooms, laundry soap for a few loads of laundry and plenty of towels. Located in the old-town area of Merced, our home is situated on a large lot off a quieter downtown street. Our home has a large back yard with outdoor patio, small pond and garden, and offers guests a comfortable and quiet home as a base during guests' stay in the area.

Inside our home, the downstairs was has been include an open modern kitchen with cooktop, oven, stainless refrigerator, filtered water, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and food processor for the cook. Dining, front living room back family room, a small library room with piano & desk, a private office, guest bedroom and full bathroom round out the lower floor.

Upstairs are three bedrooms, where you'll find a the master suite with a king bed with full private bath with jacuzzi tub, a bunk room with a double/ twin bunk bed, and a bedroom with a double bed next to the 3rd full bath. The house has a tankless water-heater system for endless supply of hot water, and there are two HVAC heating and air systems - both upstairs and downstairs for climate control. The only "problem" we ran into is that the house is very close to a train track an the trains were running and blowing their horns starting around 5:45am. We're early risers so it was a real issue with for us but for a guest who is a light sleeper or wants to sleep in, bring a set of ear plugs :) Thank you for a beautiful stay. We'll be back!"
