Our quiet family hunting lodge is situated on 29 picturesque acres of beautiful, rural, upstate NY farmland. For clarity due to limited listing options, we do not have 3 living rooms. The cabin is one very large room with a private bedroom off it. In the main room, there is a kitchen area, a dining area and a few seating areas. This same room also has the two pull-out sofas and the futon. There are two raised sleeping lofts - this is where the single beds are.

This property also function as an outdoor event venue w/ camping in the warmer months, we utilize platforms like this to fill in the weekend when we don't have events scheduled.

Inside the dome are some amenities like a coffee maker, fridge, microwave/air frier, and sink with running water. Also a heated blanket is available for cooler nights. There is no shower on the property yet.

Feel free to take a short walk along the creek and through the hayfields. Be cautious of wet spots on the rainy days.

This beautiful waterfront home offers remarkable accommodations on scenic Sodus Bay, NY. At 3,200 square feet, with beds for 12, it is perfect for large gatherings of families and/or friends or a quiet getaway for fewer people. Nearby Sodus Point was named one of the "10 Best Little Beach Towns on the Great Lakes" by AAA. July and August tend to be fully booked by the previous Thanksgiving, so check the calendar early.

The house is professionally cleaned between each renter, under the supervision and assistance of the owner, who is a Clinical Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.

The house offers multiple accommodation options - the 3-bedroom main floor, the third floor in-law suite, and the finished lower floor that sleeps five. The main floor and in-law suite have wall-mounted a/c units. The lower floor is always cool and does not need a/c. All bedroom closets contain a fan, extra pillows, and blankets. The large, two-tiered pebble beach has plenty of outdoor furniture, a 50-foot private dock and fire pit, two kayaks and a canoe for you to use. Fishing is excellent on Sodus Bay (including right off the dock) and in Lake Ontario, to which the bay connects. Ice fishing is very popular on Sodus Bay (the main access point is only 1/4 mile away) and the beautiful Sodus Heights Golf Course is only 7 minutes away. Numerous hiking areas, including Chimney Bluffs Sate Park, and other attractions are nearby.

Bob, the owner, continually makes substantial investments to improve the house and property, including painting upgrades (inside & out, 2024, 2025), three new queen mattresses, bed frames, and headboards (2024, 2025), many new kids toys and family games (2024), a water softening system (2023), two new a/c units (2021, 2023), and a new boiler and hot water system (2022). The dishwasher, high-capacity washer and dryer, 3-burner propane grill, various windows and doors, and certain kitchen appliances all were recent purchases.

The WiFi service is high-speed. The router assures coverage throughout the house for multiple users who may be gaming, downloading or otherwise using the system. Sophisticated Nest company smoke/CO detectors and thermostats are located throughout the house. The two entry doors are outfitted with Yale keypad-controlled locks. Bob will set a unique entry code that you choose prior to your arrival.

The main floor has 3 spacious bedrooms (each with a queen bed), 3 full bathrooms with showers and one bathtub, and a gorgeous living room with a large sectional couch and two cozy armchairs. Gleaming hardwood floors adorn the entire floor.

The living room features a 47-inch flat-screen TV with a Roku video streaming stick and DVD player, as well as an Echo ("Alexa") speaker. Over 100 DVDs are in nearby drawers, suitable for varied adult and child tastes. A wide array of board games, card decks, chess, checkers, backgammon, cribbage, and puzzles are in the living room cabinets, in addition to the large children's toy and game selection on the lower floor.

The main kitchen (another kitchen is in the in-law suite) features high-end appliances, including a "french door" Samsung refrigerator/freezer, an electric range/oven, dishwasher and microwave. A second full-size refrigerator/freezer is on the in-law suite floor. The main floor kitchen features a large array of cookware, appliances, dishware (including for children), glassware, cutlery, utensils, and other amenities needed for a comfortable, lived-in feel and to meet the needs of a discerning cook. A Keurig coffee maker with a large selection of K-cups, teas, hot chocolate, sugar substitutes and various cooking staples (e.g oils, sugar, and a full spice rack) are provided. A 3-burner propane grill is available for outdoor cooking along with many BBQ tools.

A set of beautiful wood and leather bar stools adjoin the counter that faces the main floor's open kitchen area. Just behind these stools, the huge wooden dining room table can seat up to 10 (or more) depending on how the chairs and extra table leaves are arranged

The combined open-style, kitchen-dining-living room area is a most inviting feature of the main floor. Floor-to-ceiling windows all along the lengthy living/dining room area overlook the bay and the first floor deck.

This outdoor deck features two glass-topped tables and chairs for dining, as well as a built-in, bench-style sitting area and additional casual seating. Hanging plants adorn the deck area. The deck spans the entire eastern length of the house, facing the bay. It can be accessed from the outdoors (via a few stairs on the north and south ends of the deck) or via a sliding glass door adjacent to the dining room.

The laundry room is down a hallway on the main floor. It boasts an LG high-capacity washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, laundry materials (e.g detergent, bleach, dryer sheets) and a cordless hand-held vacuum and charging station. A large rack for hanging clothes and a long countertop is there for folding laundry. There also is a full bathroom (with shower) in the laundry room area. A high chair and shower chair are stored there, too. This spacious area is far enough away from the main living room for laundry work not to disturb other activities on the main floor.

A new "Shark Rocket" vacuum, Swiffer products, and other cleaning supplies are in a hallway closet on the main floor. An adjacent hallway closet contains spare linens and beach towels.

The upper floor of the house is a beautiful in-law suite with its own kitchen, living room, bedroom (queen bed), full bathroom with shower/tub, dining area, and a couch. There is a private entrance to the in-law unit via the upper level garage or it can be accessed from the main floor. The in-law unit features its own cozy walk-out deck overlooking the bay and main deck below.

The in-law suite's kitchen features a 4-burner electric cook-top and microwave. A small refrigerator/freezer is in this kitchen, as well as a Mr. Coffee machine and related supplies. Plenty of cookware, flatware, dishware, glassware, etc are provided here. There is a 31-inch flat-screen TV with an Amazon Firestick for streaming service and a DVD player. Just outside the in-law unit, in the second floor hallway, is a full-sized refrigerator/freezer.

The home's "S-shaped" two-level driveway allows parking just outside the in-law unit's outside entrance (up to 4 cars) as well as parking "down below" by the entrance to the main floor of the house (4 more cars).

The spacious lower floor of this home is at (not below) ground level, on the east side, facing the bay. A door leads to a covered patio area (below the main deck above) where there is a table and 4-chair set, and stairs leading to the two-tiered pebble beach. This lower floor features one queen and two twin beds, a very large, semi-circular sectional couch, a tall oscillating fan, many kid-oriented toys, games, books, and other amenities.

Some families delegate this lower floor area to youngsters or "overflow guests" and offer the in-law unit to those who desire some extra privacy (e.g grandparents or those with babies). These options are a real asset of this property.

What should you bring? The answer is virtually nothing except your clothes and food. It's like a long-stay hotel. The house is extremely well-stocked with most anything else you’d require, as many VRBO reviewers point out. There is no need to bring linens, towels, paper products disposable dishware, soap, shampoo, cleaning or laundry supplies, or beach towels. Bob recommends bringing firewood bundles such as those sold in grocery and convenience stores or home centers for the fire pit on the beach. Bob provides fire-starter bricks and plenty of kindling. Some guests bring motorboats, bicycles, and/or golf clubs. A bocce set, “cornhole,” several other lawn games, and baseball mitts and softballs are on hand for outdoor fun. There are plenty of adult and child-size life jackets (PFDs) as well as a wide selection of water toys, indoor toys, games, puzzles, books, and more.

Note that, being in a quiet cove of Sodus Bay, plant life is somewhat prevalent around the waterline, such as some reeds and other underwater plants. This supports the fish population but water shoes are recommended for swimming as well as for walking on the pebble beach. A more pristine, large sandy swimming beach is in nearby Sodus Point, with lifeguards present.

This spectacular home is a short 10-minute drive from the Sodus Point resort area where Sodus Bay meets Lake Ontario. Sodus Point boasts numerous restaurants and bars, live entertainment, and shopping, plus the great beach noted above. Marinas rent a variety of boats which can be moored at the 50-foot dock at the house. The Sodus Bay Heights golf course is a short 7-minute drive away. Spectacular Chimney Bluffs State Park is 8 miles away and not to be missed. The Sodus Bay Lighthouse and Museum is a very popular attraction.

This property is far enough away from Sodus Point for privacy from most boat and vehicular traffic (and associated noise), yet close enough to partake of all that the Sodus Point region has to offer.

Rochester, NY is about a 45 minute drive, Syracuse about 1 hour away, the beautiful Finger Lakes region about 1 hour away, the Adirondack mountain region about 2.5 hours away (depending on your destination), and Niagara Falls a bit over 2 hours away.

- "My sister and I are from the area but had not visited in many years. We stayed five nights with our husbands and three children 2-5 years old. The house was more spacious than we expected. Two rooms each had a queen bed and two rooms each had two twin beds. The bedrooms are upstairs and there is also a main-level extra living area with pullout sofa if needed. The house is quaint, comfortable and nicely decorated. The view of the lake is spectacular and the deck has several chairs to relax and enjoy the view while the kids play in the yard. The mosquitoes and gnats were pretty bad during this time of year so we couldn’t be outside after dark without suffering bites. Despite that minor issue, we had a wonderful time and plan to book again in the future."

- "6 adult family members had a wonderful stay at a beautiful Lake Home on Sodus Bay. The home was spacious, bedrooms and bathrooms large and comfortable. The kitchen had everything anyone would ever need, plenty of seating at tables inside and out. Nice covered porch keeps you out of sun and rain while still enjoying the beautiful views of the Bay. Plenty of dock space for your boat, but the water was a little shallow so be careful with your boat. For families that might have younger children there are a lot of steps to get down to the dock from the house and upper porch, it was a non event for us since we were only adults. Plenty of parking for our 4 vehicles on property. Marina to launch our boat was a few minutes away and we experienced no issues. Owners were super friendly. Would stay here again."

- "Cute, clean, and quaint cabin. Check in process was easy and efficient. There was a fire pit and grill right in front of our cabin, which was a nice surprise. The pool, hot tub, and restaurant/bar were nice amenities, and we could lay out and watch the lake. The listing said use of yard games/cornhole, but when we asked about them we were told they were not actually available, had we of known that we would have brought our own. Otherwise, we were left to our devices and unbothered by other guests and staff, which was nice and relaxing."

The kids really enjoyed playing in the lake on the kayaks, paddle boards and floats provided. 3 restaurants are within an easy drive of the cabin and Sodus point is a very short drive away (15 mins). We also enjoyed chimney bluffs state park which is about 5 minutes away. Will definitely add this to our list of places to go back to."

Bay Bridge Sport Shop offers a full tackle shop of fishing gear, bait, and boat rentals. Public fishing access is available on the bridge that crosses the south end of Sodus Bay, right next to the property.
Also within walking distance is a restaurant (Riley's Bar & Grill) and a brewery tasting room (Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing).

- "Frist and formost Would stay agian. In fact, I'm looking to set up a trip with friends to stay there. The owner was nice and friendly to a non fisherman like me. It was close to the beach and touristy point. Also, it is above a bait shop so you are not staying in a home with the owners which is nice. There are two upstairs uints that have a shared locked adjoining door. The bait shop rents out boats for that day at great prices. This allowed us to cruise around the bay bar hopping. I wasn't there long enough, but Im sure you could work out a deal to rent the boat for longer. The unit was brand new with all the amenities, wifi, cable, stove, toaster, hot water shower, coffee maker, etc. Great view of the bay. Like I said I booked it expecting the worst, but honestly got the best. FYI down the block is a farm that has homemade cheese aged up to 18 years, and fresh pies, fudge, and strutal. If it was on season, I'm sure there would be plenty more little farm stops like that. 5 Star. Stay, take a boat out and go fishing or bar hopping, check out the local farms, and head out into the great lake!"

This recently renovated 1986 manufactured home provides a private, family-friendly, pet-friendly, and budget conscious place to stay, with full access to the front yard. Its central location offers easy access to numerous attractions within a ten-mile radius, making it an excellent home base for your visit.

Our 36’ Camping trailer is a 2019 double bunk house. It features a large & modern feel. We are an off grid camp site (no electricity , no public water for sewer hook ups) yet we provide everything you need with a generator and battery powered, propane and many amenities for a comfortable stay. Let’s be real 🥹 This is an OFF Grid camping experience: we do not have municipal water/sewer/or electricity. If you are expecting abundant use of these modern amenities this may not be the place for you. This camping retreat requires intentionality for water conservation. We recommend you bring disposable dishes to preserve water and consider showering at the bath houses at the state park for abundance of hot water. Outdoor living and camping requires a certain tolerance for combatting at various times: mosquitoes , flies, bees, spiders, stink bugs, etc. We regularly spray the camper against insects and we have decon and traps in case a mouse wants to find a new home. You will not be compensated for experiencing any insect, mice or wildlife. We mark dangerous animals simply due to any wildlife you could encounter. Such as fox, coyotes, snapping turtles, snakes.

This Cabin is located in a very rural area residing on a river bank. While we strive to keep the nature outside sometimes we get bugs and other uninvited guests inside. we have proactive mouse and ant bait stations inside and asks guests not to leave outside lights on at night when not needed as to not attract insects.

This is a two bedroom fully equipped apartment located within a larger housing structure. The Gauger House sits on a 13 acre functional flower and produce farm. Meander the gardens, visit the pond and interact with farmers, other guests and us! (Your hosts) And don’t forget to snag yourself a treat from our roadside Farm Stand!

The space is completely private with a private entrance but shares some common areas such as the back yard and laundry room with other tenants, guests and myself.

Other things to note
AirBnb gives the option for a scenic view but doesn't give the option of farmland view, which is what we have! So I've listed it as a garden view. But the sunsets over the farmlands from this unit are incomparable.

The space
The Property:
The house is situated on top of the bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario. There is a patio area right outside of the deck where you can sit out and enjoy the sunsets way above the lake. A lower level has much more space to relax and sit around the fireplace. As you make your way down to the water, you will see the beautiful rock beach with crystal clear waters which you can enjoy. Have fun looking at the assortment of unique rocks, and you may even find some sea glass!

The House:
The house is a cozy two bedroom cottage which is wood filled and sun drenched. The natural light is in abundance as every wall boasts multiple windows. You can enjoy panoramic views of Lake Ontario from the home with views out of every single window. You can even see Crescent Beach and Sodus Bay from the living room.

The Living Room:
Enjoy the cozy living room by relaxing on the couch reading, enjoying the views, admiring the wildlife swimming and flying, or by watching the TV. The Smart TV offers many options of entertainment along with the xbox game console with multiple games. The bar table behind the couch allows you to eat your meals while viewing the lake from all angles. Sit back and relax in the corner reading nook situated right next to the window with a spectacular view.

The Kitchen:
The Kitchen is full sized offering everything you need to cook every meal. The electric oven allows for quick and easy cooking, and the full size fridge will hold all your groceries. The island provides extra counter space for cooking, or pull up a few barstools and use it as a breakfast table.

The Master Bedroom:
The master bedroom is sun drenches and very spacious with its vaulted ceilings. Enjoy the beautiful decor and queen size memory foam mattress while you relax. You can view many angles of the lake from the bedroom windows. Wind down and relax by closing the black-out curtains when you want privacy.

The Second Bedroom:
The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a full sized memory foam mattress each. Enjoy the room with its natural light and greenery outside during the day, or close the black-out curtains for some privacy. The vaulted ceiling make the room very spacious even with the bunk beds.

The Bathroom:
The bathroom features a stand up shower with a relaxing waterfall shower-head. Enjoy a nice hot shower after a long day outside or to wind down.

Guest access
The entire property to the right of the communal staircase is accessible to guests. The entire parking lot is private, and can fit up to 3 cars.

Guests also have access to the rock beach right in front of the house.

Other things to note
The staircase to the left of the house is communal, and the community uses it to access the water. Please be courteous of any neighbors using the staircase. Please do not block it with any vehicles. Guests may use the staircase at any time to access the house, and for easy access to the water right in front of the house.

Our quiet family hunting lodge is situated on 29 picturesque acres of beautiful, rural, upstate NY farmland. The cabin is uniquely built with high ceilings and is filled with antique farm equipment & taxidermy animals. We have a pond full of fish, nature trails, wildlife, gardens and the sunsets, rises and stars are incomparable. Hot tub, volleyball court, pool table, darts, board games and MORE for you to enjoy.

Ask about adding on one of our A-Frame Tiny Cabins for additional guest lodging.

The space
Cell service is spotty at the lodge but we do have hi-speed satellite internet! We also have a projector with a 100 inch screen, dozens of DVD's to choose from and a Roku for your entertainment! We have a large deck with picnic tables overlooking the back field and surrounding creek. We are also closely located to state snowmobiling trails in the winter.

Other things to note
We allow pets! With just a few stipulations. You must send us an inquiry telling us a little about your little furry loved ones before you book! We require all droppings be picked up and disposed of properly. We don't allow pets on the furniture or bedding and you must let us know and pay for any damages that occur. There is a $35/pet fee. I can send a special offer adjusted price when you send your inquiry. If you book a stay and do not inform us about your pet, you will be charged a $75 fee per pet.

Open, airy, sun-filled house with lake views and water access, nestled in acres of privacy. Newly-furnished and updated with contemporary decor and modern amenities. We welcome a max of dogs for no extra fee.

This spacious 3,200+ sq. ft. escape sits on beautiful Duck Lake, approximately 1.5 miles long and .75 of a mile wide. If you're looking for a beautiful, super clean and affordable private getaway, you've come to the right place!

The space
The entire home is elevated by hardwood flooring and bright, light-filled rooms. Every room has been updated and outfitted with the amenities you want when you need to get away.

On the second floor of the house, you'll find two very large bedrooms (both with king beds (one with a Tempur-Pedic mattress) with vaulted ceilings and skylights, each opening up to the second-floor deck via sliding glass doors - facing the lake. Each bedroom has a smart TV. They share a beautiful newly-renovated bathroom with shower and soaking tub to gaze up at the stars through the skylight above. Feel the heated floors under your feet when the weather is cool.

The second-floor open loft space has two separate desks/work areas and overlooks the living room, while offering expansive views of the lake from the large windows.

The first floor bedroom (king bed) has a large walk-in closet with California Closet® shelving and it's own newly-renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower, heated floors and double sinks. Wake to the sound of the lake and wildlife outside your window.

In the brand new kitchen you'll find a gourmet coffee maker and grinder, a Vitamix and Soda Stream - along with other standard amenities/resources and some basic spices, oils, etc.

The adjoining dining area is furnished with a brand new table and 8 chairs, opening up to the vaulted living room with seating for 6 centered around a wood-burning stove. You'll have access to a 6-burner gas grill and dining on the partial wrap-around deck, accessible via two sets of sliding glass doors - one off the living room, and one off the kitchen/dining area.

The beautiful, newly-installed, 6-person hot tub on the main deck faces the lake and provides the perfect answer to your relaxation needs.

Downstairs in the den is another smart TV which can be linked to Netflix, Hulu, etc. and (what is apparently) a professional-grade ping-pong table that guests are more than welcome to use, though please not as a resting place for food/drinks/kids. The queen sized pullout couch offers additional sleeping options. The sliding doors provide an abundance of light and leads out to the new lower deck and access to the lake.

Also on the lower level you'll find a laundry room and a third full bathroom, ideal for washing off any pets/guests that may need it from the day's activities, before heading upstairs.

At the dock you'll have easy access to a kayak, canoe and paddleboard (seasonally). Enjoy the great sunsets on the water. Bring your fishing poles (there are 2 poles and tackle provided), because this lake is ideal for fishing Large Mouth Bass and Tiger Muskie. In 1996 the New York State record crappie was caught on this lake. There are also life vests at the house for you (4 adult, 2 larger children's and 1 large dog).

The house is as connected as possible with Fiber and Wi-Fi extenders throughout.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and all 7+ acres of the very private property during their stay - including a dock with plenty of seating. The property offers a mix of woods, wetland and open/grassy field. The pole barn on the property and the garage are locked to guests.

Other things to note
The lake is approximately 100 yards from the house, accessible via private dock.

If you interested in additional hiking and park opportunities, we'd recommend Chimney Bluffs and Fair Haven State Parks, nearby.

There is wonderful shopping in the nearby town of Skaneateles.

The cabin in Hannibal is a large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with 2 living rooms with an interior fireplace in both, perfect for a family adventure in the woods! Or a group of friends who want to relax comfortably in the wildlife with the luxury of a hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, outdoor fire, outdoor dining and a lot more!

Guest access
The big yard is free for the roaming! The basement and garage are not guest accessible.

Fair Haven Beach State Park, on Ontario Lake, is only 15 minutes from the cabin!
