There are several steps to walk up to access the cottage, and is perfect for a couple with one bedroom (queen-size bed), but there is a large couch for an extra guest. There are ceiling fans in each room, and separate thermostats. Upon arrival guest are impressed with the immaculate interior of the cottage, with a kitchen, living room, and bedroom with private bath. Water in our cabins comes from clean, natural well water. Some guests notice a distinct smell, which is harmless and common with rural well systems. Most often, guests do not notice the smell after a minute or two.

Our family includes three friendly rescue pets. You'll likely meet our two outdoor cats, Thomas (a gray and white long-haired cat) and Sophie (a chonky black and orange calico), who enjoy greeting guests. We also have an eighty pound White Shepherd puppy named Lucy. She loves people, and we're actively working on her manners to ensure she's a polite host. Each of our pets love to explore our unfenced twenty-one acres and may stop by to say hello. We are happy to collect our pets if needed - just call us.
No fireworks are allowed anywhere on property.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.

We allow pets, but please note these additional rules:

The queen bed features luxurious bedding, a memory foam mattress, quiet base, and two pillows options, depending on your firmness preference. The second bedroom, which we call the "Stone Room", is much cozier than the oversized master. It features two twin memory foam mattresses with luxurious bedding, a small chest of drawers, a suitcase stand, and hooks on the walls for hanging clothes. Both bedrooms have lamps or sconces to provide relaxing lighting in the evening. Ear plugs, white noise machines and iPhone charging cables are also included in both bedrooms.

KITCHEN:
We love to cook so the kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, utensils, kitchen knives, and place settings for up to 8. Under-cabinet lighting provides a brightly illuminated workspace.

The kitchen has an electric, four burner cooktop, and full sized oven with a vent-a-hood for anyone wanting to practice their culinary skills. Olive oil, salt, and pepper are provided to help get you started. :)

For those who don't want to fire up the cooktop, there are a range of appliances including a blender for fresh smoothies, a toaster and a microwave for some late-night popcorn and a movie.

If you enjoy a hot, relaxing drink, there is an electric tea kettle, four different tea options (two caffeinated, two decaf), an automatic drip coffee machine, freshly ground coffee, and sugar.

There is no dishwasher but there is an in-sink drain board and a larger drainboard on the counter with an additional pullout underneath. Dish soap, hand soap and dish scrubbers are also included.

LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a comfortable L-shaped couch, perfect for watching movies or your favorite show on the wall-mounted, 4K HDR Smart TV. Through the Smart TV you can securely access any of your personal streaming subscriptions (Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, etc.). There is also a cabinet with books, games and a few small toys for kids! The entire house has access to high speed wifi through the private Stone Cottage wifi network, with download speeds up to 200Mbps!

BATHROOM:
The bathroom's beautiful decor includes a restored porcelain corner sink, small black and white hex tile, stained wood shelving, and hooks for towels.

The medicine cabinet above the sink contains a first aid kit, as well as room for storing your own toiletries should you wish. A small, in wall cabinet adjacent to the tub holds extra toilet paper and lavender bath salts for a relaxing soak.

Speaking of a relaxing soak, the shower/tub features a 15" deep soaking tub. The house is outfitted with plush bath towels and an on-demand hot water heater, ensuring that you have all the hot water needed for a refreshing shower or a calming soak with a good book.

OUTSIDE:
The house is set back about 100 feet from the street, providing a nice sense of privacy. As you walk out the back door, there is a secluded porch equipped with a table, grill, and outdoor seating. You can sit outside to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while listening to the birds or fire up the propane grill and cook up some juicy burgers!

Water in our cabins comes from clean, natural well water. Some guests notice a distinct smell, which is harmless and common with rural well systems. Most often, guests do not notice the smell after a minute or two.

Our family includes three friendly rescue pets. You'll likely meet our two outdoor cats, Thomas (a gray and white long-haired cat) and Sophie (a chonky black and orange calico), who enjoy greeting guests. We also have an eighty pound White Shepherd puppy named Lucy. She loves people, and we're actively working on her manners to ensure she's a polite host. Each of our pets love to explore our unfenced twenty-one acres and may stop by to say hello. We are happy to collect our pets if needed - just call us.

The formal living room features a beautiful "Luxe Depth" tufted leather sofa and 2 velvet recliners. Once you sit down in this room, you will not want to leave. The room is flooded with natural light from the original "wavy glass" windows, and it offers incredible views.

The second living room features a 55" smart TV, a large leather sofa, and 2 leather armchairs. This room also features a cozy nook to unwind and view the backyard.

BATHROOMS:
The master bathroom's features a timeless design of marble countertops and black and white hexagon tile. There is a tub/shower combo in this room. It offers a large walk in closet as well.

LAUNDRY ROOM:

The house sits on a large .5 acre lot surrounded by greenery on 3 sides. When you step in to the backyard, you will forget you are in the city.

To top it all off, the mattresses were comfortable and the pillows were plush, making for a good nights rest after our days out exploring. I could seriously go on and on. Our "Theatre" themed living area features a queen-size sofa sleeper, popcorn maker, and an 8-track and vinyl record player for music lovers. Watch your favorite flicks on the 65" TV or sing your favorite song using our karaoke "Singing Machine!"

You will find a fun "Retro Diner" themed atmosphere in the dining area. In the same space, your workstation overlooks the lake. The kitchen features necessities to prepare your favorite meals. As well as a Keurig coffee maker.

The "Vintage Vibe" master bedroom has a king-size bed and a 32" smart TV and ample closet space. The additional "Boardgame Bedroom" has 2 twin beds and 1 full bed. This room also has tons of closet space and lovely backyard views of the lake.

There are 2 full-size bathrooms. One is between the bedrooms and features a bathtub and a built-in vanity. The other is near the laundry space and contains a shower. We also feature a full-size washer, dryer, and laundry necessities for your stay.

Unfortunately, the garage is unavailable as it features a fun zone! But, there is enough parking for 4 cars. We just ask that you do NOT park in the grass. The fun zone includes an air hockey table, shuffleboard, and foosball table, and we plan on adding more!

This home sits on just under an acre and the backyard is a beautiful place to escape. Exiting from the kitchen, you will find a screened-in patio leading to the backyard. Don't forget to grab a cup of food to feed the fish and geese before heading out! The upper portion is completely gated. The mid-portion offers a sitting/dining space. Watch your step… as you continue forward, you will find a staircase leading directly down to the water. There, you will find another sitting area as well as a firepit.

The 4 cabins are on our private property of 44 acres. Secluded, quiet, safe, and very peaceful surroundings to enjoy. The cabins are equipped with a full kitchen: dishwasher, gas range, microwave, full fridge with icemaker, and your choice of a Keurig or a coffee pot. All essentials are provided in the kitchen. Tankless water heater. Free laundry facility is located in a separate building for you to use, you provide your own laundry soap. Beginning paper goods are provided to get you started.

Whether you’re relocating, on a work assignment, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, these cabins are designed to meet your every need.

Starter Essentials Provided
To make your move-in smooth, we supply the basics: paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, and trash bags. You’ll have everything you need to get started.
