Centrally located in West Haven, with the whole house being recently renovated and completely remodeled. There is also parking spots for our guests that can fit a few cars, backyard with outdoor furniture, umbrellas and fire pit.
There are 3 fully furnished bedrooms, sitting room and a full bathroom on the second floor. On the first floor there is one full furnished bedroom, a living room with dining space and a kitchen equipped with new SS appliances and utensils. There is also a half bathroom on the first floor along with a mud room.
Each floor offers comfortable, laptop- friendly space for remote working or learning.

There is a separate apartment in the basement for the property manager who lives there, he works a full time job during the week, and is available to assist with any issues, does not disturb the guests, has his own entrance in the back of the house.

Located across from Seabluff Beach, our four bedroom, three bath house has unobstructed views of the beautiful Long Island Sound! West Haven is one of Connecticut’s Best Kept Secrets (Shhhhh…don’t tell anyone!). Seabluff Beach has much softer sand, and space to spread out, than other beaches in Connecticut.

The house is in walking distance to three children’s parks, Prospect Beach House Deli, Tom & Pat’s Pizza, Jimmies Restaurant, and Turks Seafood. Bradley Point is also in walking distance, perfect for a summer stroll on the boardwalk!

We offer a comfortable open-concept living area, complete with full kitchen, 10 person table, and a living room with pull-out-sofa.

Two bedrooms have direct waterfront views, and two have partial water views.

The West Haven Train Station is 2 miles away, providing easy access on the Metro North to NYC. If you are looking for local nightlife, New Haven is 8 miles from the house.

Other things to know:

The house is located on Ocean Ave which is a main road. It can become busy, especially during summer months. We do not have a front or backyard. The main outdoor area is the beach! While we do accept dogs, they are not allowed on the beach. Your four-legged-friend should be comfortable 1.) being in a house while you are at the beach and 2.) walking on a leash in the neighborhood to do his/her business.

Noise levels: Our neighbors are cool, but please be respectful. The West Haven noise ordinance begins at 10:00 pm and is strictly enforced.

Smoking: This is a 100% non-smoking property. Evidence of smoking will result in forfeiture of deposit.

Parking: There is ample parking! Please park either directly behind the house, or in the four designated spots across from the house. Street parking is only available to town residents.

Walk half a block to get to the beach. Down the beach not far is a playground, and not much farther than that a boardwalk and bike rental (though that place can be flaky about when they're open.) Not far from stop&shop, where we got our groceries and CVS. In the upstairs, there is a huge master suite that includes the bedroom (that has a TV/seating area), a private bath, and what appears to be a GIANT walk-in closet with a futon/couch. We noticed there's also a pack and play in there and it's the perfect sized room to have your baby in there (separate from your own room.) Our youngest is 8 so this wasn't relevant to us, but I thought it would be really nice for somenoe with a baby. Also upstairs is another bathroom and another room with a huge (maybe king) bed. Downstairs two more bedrooms--one full, one twin, and another full bathroom. Our party had 5 people (three kids), but the house easily could have accommodated several more. Check-in was easy as was check-out--no complicated clean-up, and you leave your towels and linens as-is. We would absolutely come back to this spot!"

No worries this room has it's own newly remodeled private bathroom with a 9 setting shower head and toiletries. It even has its own private entrance so you can roam freely without disturbing anyone. - "Stayed here for about 4 months while in-between apartments— wonderful little apartment and wonderful hosts! Not much storage space for clothes (very small closets and only one 3-drawer dresser per bedroom), so had to bring an extra free-standing clothes rack and extra dressers. Hosts were very attentive to concerns/requests (re-installed smoke detector after previous one was malfunctioning, tended to ants which were never a problem again, installed AC window units when the weather was getting hot). The location is wonderful for walking, as it is close to Sandy Point and West Haven beaches, but the downside to the location is that it is on a fairly busy road (can be very noisy) and cars speed quite often, so always ensure your pets are on a leash. Love the small dishwasher! Bathroom is newly remodeled and lovely. Recommend staying here for short or long term!"

Your West Haven adventure begins at this 3-bedroom unit with a fabulous view of the water right from the kitchen and deck. There is a queen bed in each bedroom and the 3rd has 1 full size bed. There are smart Tv's in living room and each bedroom for your enjoyment. You will also find games, playing cards, kids toys and books for the reader in the group. The bathroom has a tub with shower, heated /lighted mirror and heated toilet seat. The kitchen is fully stocked with new pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave and air fryer which are all aqua to keep with the ocean theme. A large granite island serves as a dining area also along with a small table and chairs for a quaint dinner. From the kitchen you have a fabulous view of the harbor. Walk out the french doors to your deck with a sectional sofa, gas fireplace for chilly nights and a dining area.
This unit is on the second floor of house so there are stairs. There are also stairs in yard that take you down to the water. NOTE: There is no beach out back. There are beautiful beaches just a ten minute walk down the street past the bird sanctuary and boardwalk. Boat ramp is 4 blocks away where you can put your boat, jet ski, kayak or paddleboard in the water and bring it around to back of house so you can enjoy it all day. Savin Rock Surf Shop is down near the beach where you can rent paddleboards, bikes, kayaks and beach equipment.
The West Haven train station is a 5 minute drive from house for a trip to NYC 2 hours one way and Boston 2 hours the other. The Bridgeport ferry which goes to Port Jefferson, NY is a 20 minute drive. Casinos and Mystic Aquarium 45 minutes north. There is also a barbeque grill in yard, a dining area and loungers for sunning.
House is close to restaurants and shopping. Downtown New Haven is a 5 minute drive to Yale and the famous Pepe's pizza, nightlife, and assorted restaurants and shops.

Just so you know, the house is an older house and since our household either sleeps late or wake up early (5 am), the floors may make slight creeks when walked on. So, if you're a light sleeper and are ok with that, then that's good. We are not noisy people too, just Zef's occasional laughter. :)

OTHER AMENITIES:
A shared bathroom is just 3 to 4 steps outside the bedroom. High speed wireless internet access is included during your stay. As a guest, you will have access to kitchen where you will find the microwave to reheat food and a Keurig single cup coffee brewer, and the coffee cart. There are some light snacks in the room to keep your tummy happy during the wee hours of the night!

During your stay
I, Zef, is your only contact person for your stay here. I am available via AirBnB messaging system before and during your stay. Once you confirm your reservation, you will have access to my phone number, which you may use for social conversations only. I only will use AirBnB chat/messaging system for all stay/guest related conversations.

I work from home and you will see me from time to time throughout the day. I would be happy to show you around as long as you check with me on my availability ahead of time. I enjoy exploring the food scene and that makes me frequent local coffee shops, bistros, and restaurants.

A renovated second floor apartment in West Haven located a few minutes away from downtown New Haven (10 minutes from Yale!) and 6 minutes from the University of New Haven.
