The home was exactly as described online and was even more spacious than we envisioned. The various gathering places throughout the property were perfect and allowed for more intimate conversations, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening "couch time" as we gabbed. The home is immaculately kept, well appointed and we found everything we needed. The special surprise of the homemade whoopie pies was a real treat and our hosts were utterly delightful in every way, even allowing us a quick visit to see family owned pigs and other livestock! Ephraim and Verna were so kind, and answered our many questions about Amish life with gentle responses, and they really helped us grow in our knowledge. The many beds allowed for easy settling in, and they were quite comfortable, down to the very last bed! The outdoor spaces where our early risers gathered in the morning was perfect, and the indoor sunroom was filled with warmth and laughter as we enjoyed our time together with one another and planned our days. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area, and in fact, we hope to return again!"

Located on a quiet side street in the beautiful Lancaster County. It is a quarter acre property that is well-maintained with a newly remodeled bi-level house (exterior still needs work, dont let that scare you). A solid block house built in the 1950s, has lots of charm, hardwood floors and neutral colors. Three bedrooms, one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, and living room area. It has a yard out back if you enjoy sitting outside.
Sight & Sound Theater (4.4 miles), American Music Theater, Dutch Wonderland, Strasburg Railroad, Choo Choo Barn, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, Lancaster Convention Center, American Music Theatre, Amish Buggy Rides all within 10-20 minutes of here. PLEASE NOTE:

The home is close to Lincoln Hwy which is a busy road. There is a lot of traffic noise during the day outside, but the home is well insulated and noise is greatly reduced inside. Sound machines and fans are provided in each bedroom to help negate outside noise.

This home is a duplex and shares a building with another airbnb. The homes are fully separate with the exception of the parking area and back yard. When looking at the house from the front, you will be staying in the unit on the right.

Something to keep in mind when booking if you have light sleepers. Overall we had a wonderful experience and loved being able to stay here!"

The home is close to Lincoln Hwy which is a busy road. There is a lot of traffic noise during the day outside, but the home is well insulated and noise is greatly reduced inside. Sound machines and fans are provided in each bedroom to help negate outside noise.

This home is a duplex and shares a building with another rental unit. The homes are fully separate with the exception of the parking area and back yard. When looking at the house from the front, you will be staying in the unit on the left.

Pop's Place is a spacious home, very open and welcoming to families of all sizes. Each bedroom has a closet and comfortable bed for relaxing. Guests will have full access to the main living quarters of the house, outside and backyard for their enjoyment. Very spacious interior for families of all sizes.
We happily allow our guests to enjoy the peacefulness of the area, but always available should they have any questions. 24 - 48 hours prior to arrival we ensure our guests have all of our contact information should they need to call or text.
Pop's Place is located in a peaceful and quiet country side neighborhood. Perfect for taking evening walks or just relaxing in the backyard. Very friendly neighbors live up and down the street, so don't be afraid to give a hello or wave as you venture out into the area. There is even a small farm at the opposite end with cute pigs that are fun and silly to watch run around.
Best way to see the area is via car. However, a beautiful bike ride a few minutes down the street and you will encounter large farms and open areas. There is even a camel farm within 5 minutes of driving.
Feel free to utilize the complimentary Amish scooters to explore the area around Pop's Place.

The Barn at Legacy Manor is a newly remodeled, and unique and luxurious stay. The main living area has brick floors throughout and each full bathroom has heated floors. The large great room has a 10 ft wide fireplace with a propane burning open log set, and surrounding balcony. The kitchen is spacious and has lots of natural light. There are 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms.

Come enjoy this beautiful space, perfect for large gatherings and getaways.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking and baking essentials and has a Keurig machine, toaster, panini maker and blender. Large island with lots of bar seating, counter space and a long window seat. Relax with the whole family at Farm View Country Estates. With the open floor plan on the first floor and a large family room downstairs, there is plenty of area for family fun. There are 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a beautiful yard. We are within 15 minutes of Sight and Sound Theatre, Bird in Hand Farmers Market, Dutch Wonderland, Tanger Outlets and lots of Amish owned stores. Our house manual on the kitchen table has lists of all these attractions.
At Farm View we can sleep up to 10 guests max. Please be sure to list all people on the reservation for safety purposes and compliance. There are two queen beds, two single beds, a pull out twin, trundle queen and trundle twin.
Enjoy the relaxing sounds of the horse and buggies as they pass by. Take a short drive down the lane and see the local camel farm, visit local road side stands or just admire the country side. So much to see in this beautiful Amish Country setting. This is a quiet neighborhood and does have lots of families living in it. Perfect for kids. [ 1 ] The occupancy limit for this property is the same number of guests as your reservation at all times. $50. Per person a day or Violation of this could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without refund. [ 2 ] No parties, No loud music, No boisterous behavior. [ 3 ] Renters will respect and follow all rules as outlined in the House Rules Section. [ 4 ] Renters agree to not contact Host until they have read the house Manuel. Will be sent 2 days before arrival. - "Ekta was such a great host and responded right away whenever I had any questions. We were in the area for the Sight and Sound, and it was only a quick 10 min ride away. The pictures also don't do this home justice. It's clean, super spacious and located in a beautiful neighborhood on a cul-du-sac. "We own a 2 1/2 acre farmette in the heart of Amish county in Bird in Hand (Lancaster County) PA. Guests have separate entrance to main floor bedroom, living room, and private bath. We are very centrally located, so you may hear traffic noise, but it is muffled by the block walls of the cottage. There is a white noise machine in the bedroom closet, which some find helpful if turned on low. You will most definitely hear the birds singing happily each morning from the patch of woods located off to the side of the property.

Treat yourselves to a stay at our newly listed central-Lancaster Amish owned farmhouse suite. This simple lodging can provide a comfortable getaway for an individual, couple, or family of 3 - 4. We are located just 12 min. from the Sight & Sound Theater in Strasburg, a 10 min. drive to Dutch Wonderland & the Tanger Outlet stores, and just 5 min. from the popular town of Bird in Hand. Enjoy a visit to the Olde Stampin' Barn which is located in our barn (paper stamping is a popular Amish pastime).

The space
Our two upstairs bedrooms are connected. There's a door to provide privacy, but anyone sleeping in the 2nd bedroom must walk through the 1st bedroom to get to the bathroom. The staircase is relatively steep & narrow as is typical in older Lancaster County farmhouses. Sue (the Amish owner) and her son live in the other side of the house. The guest suite is totally private.
This is a simple Amish lodging without many frills, but offers an authentic taste of local Pennsylvania Dutch culture.
Although the road in front of our house is a secondary road where you will see & hear the occasional Amish buggy passing by, it is quite busy with automobile traffic. If you are sensitive to traffic noise at night, you may want to consider using ear plugs.
The Olde Stampin' Barn (our paper stamping shop) is open on Wed., Thurs. & Fri. 8 - 5, and Sat. 8 - 3. Although this is not a working farm property, and we have no farm animals, we are surrounded by Amish farms with various crops & farm animals.
Some food is provided such as a loaf of bread with butter and homemade jam, a basket of fresh fruit, a basket of breakfast bars and a jar of canned peaches.

Other things to note
This Amish owned lodging doesn't have TV or Wifi. Depending on your phone carrier & plan, you shouldn't have any problem getting cell phone service & internet on your phone. It may be possible to funnel the internet from your phone to your laptop using a "personal hotspot". Advertised rate is for up to 2 guests. Be sure to enter total number of guests on the booking form to get the accurate rate for your stay.

The house is close to a busy road and in a residential area but the farmlands of Lancaster are only a few steps away. The guest suite is a bright, friendly, and simple two story. Each bedroom features a queen sized bed and lots of natural light.

An adorable little split level house in a quiet neighborhood. You’ll get the whole house to yourself. It’s a cozy little place, that we just remodeled. Lots of hardwood floor and soft neutral colors. We put a lot of love into the interior of this house. There’s so much to love about it. It has a nice back yard area too.

Please note that the backyard is somewhat under construction. The new firepit area that you see when looking out back is not for guest use. Eventually there will be a privacy fence separating the rental property from that area, but as of now it remains open. Bear with us we continue to make improvements on the outside of this cute little property.

This is a single level bungalow, with a diningroom, full kitchen stocked with a keurig, kcups, dishes, basic cooking supplies, and bottled water in the fridge. There is also a washer and dryer in the basement, for guests laundry needs. The home has a child-friendly layout, however a safety gate is provided by the host for guests with toddlers, for the doorway to the back entrance, as the basement has an open stairway that is accessed through that room. A high chair and a pack n play are also provided for guests with toddlers, for your convenience.

Guests will have the entire space to themselves, and will have access to everything except for the garden shed, which will be locked and off limits, and a small storage area of the unfinished basement will be sectioned off with a room divider curtain.

*Please note that the TV in this home is a smart TV and not tradition/cable TV. The Vizio smart TV has all of the major streaming apps (Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime Video, Disney plus, Paramount, NFL app, etc) along with a selection of free shows/movies under the “watch free” section on the TV. Feel free to enjoy the Vizio free movies/shows (these don’t require a streaming subscription) or you can sign into your favorite movie/tv show streaming account (Netflix/Hulu/Amazon Prime Video, etc) through the available apps on the TV. As with signing into a personal account on any device, we always remind guests to sign out of your streaming account before checkout.

This charming 2-bedroom house is located on a working Amish farm. The bright, natural light in the living room makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was formerly Amish and has since been renovated to include electricity and indoor plumbing, while still retaining its rustic charm. It embraces modern, upscale decor with touches of Amish craftsmanship.

Given the history of the house and renovations, it gives an Amish living experience with some of the comforts of modern life. Please be aware that since the home was retrofitted with electricity, it has far fewer outlets than most homes. Also, the home does not a have a TV due to the religious beliefs of the Amish owners.

The kitchen is fully equipped and offers plenty of cabinet space. The dining area seats 6 comfortably. The living room has large south east facing windows which allow the space to be bathed in natural light. Sit back and relax on the comfortable sofas. The upstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed and access to the balcony deck. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and access to the full bathroom.

The house also has a large deck, perfect for relaxing on a hot summer day or enjoying a barbecue with friends.

The house is located close to Sight N Sound, Outlets, and many restaurants. You'll find everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
