Four adults and 2 children stayed in the main house, and we also rented the guest house on the property for additional lodging for two adults. The kitchen had pretty much everything we could have asked for to make our meals. We only needed to bring in food! We rented a pontoon boat from a local business and spent some part of every day on the gorgeous lake. Our weather during our two week stay was nearly picture perfect. Welcome to my beautiful and family-friendly cottage centrally located in downtown Wayzata just a short walk to Lake Minnetonka. Wayzata is a safe, fun, and relaxing community full of delicious restaurants, outdoor activities, and wonderful shops. You’ll have easy, walking access to anything you desire to experience in our lakeside town while also having a private, cozy space to return to in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

The house is two levels - a main level with one bedroom and 1.5 baths and a basement with a full bath. The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the basement has a queen size murphy bed. There are three large smart TVs throughout the house where you can set up your Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc. There is a fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea bar including a Nespresso machine and pods, as well as cooking essentials (olive oil, salt, pepper, and other spices). There are threes separate outdoor spaces - a large screened in porch, a BBQ and dining space, and an outdoor sitting area. NO recreational vehicles, no boats, no more than 2 cars, cars must be parked in driveway, no parties of any kind and no large gatherings. Strict noise ordinance 9 am - 9 pm.

The beds were very cozy and the fact you don't have to gather linens and such, like most rentals when paying a cleaning, was much appreciated for our very early morning flight. It has all the needed amenities to stay and eat in with a nice patio and outdoor dining table, but is also around the corner from Wayzata and other lakeside communities to enjoy dining waterside. 5,000 square foot family home built in 2020. Private and spacious, with gorgeous views across a natural wetland preserve. 20 minutes from MSP airport, 15 minutes to Downtown Minneapolis. Fast and dependable Wi-Fi throughout the property. Master suite with luxury Purple brand king sized mattress, oversized whirlpool bath tub, and steam room with 3 shower heads. Massive open plan main floor with kitchen, butler kitchen, dining room, living room, and coffee lounge all flowing into each other. Laundry rooms on main floor and upstairs. Basement complete with living room, bar, exercise area, and a hockey rink. Basement bedroom / office equipped with laptop ready dual monitor work station. Modern high end appliances and smart TVs throughout.

The property is secluded, but the driveway to the property is off of a main road. We drove past it the first time (look for the hockey stick above the mailboxes). Floor-to-ceiling windows face a scenic nature area, and we saw two deer while we were there. The host is very easy to reach and check-in and check-out were a breeze. There are two laundry rooms, and if you’re staying more than a couple of days you may need to launder some bath linens, depending on the size of your group. Bottom line - we loved our stay and hope to return."

This is a finished lower level, rarely used and completely furnished. You share an entrance with the owner, but your space is all your own! Sleeps 4 comfortably with two bedrooms; 1 King, 1 Queen. Really everything you need for a super comfortable stay! Almost new sectional, ping pong table, throwback electronic game table, kitchenette, etc.
