Just to make you aware, we believe our dog Addie is a chug. She picked us out and said, "Take me home." She was the greeter dog at Hearts United for Animals and when we adopted her she was very quiet. Now she will more than likely bark like crazy when you come for your visit but the minute you sit down she will want to jump on your lap and snuggle. But if you don't want her to sit on your lap just tell her so. She is also a chair stealer. I should also mention to you that she can be somewhat picky about other dogs until she gets to know them better. She has a dominate personality. We also have a granddog named Nova who may show up on occasion. NOTE: Even though we love our dog, our Addie has her very own bed. We ask that if you bring your dog or cat that it does not sleep on our beds. You are welcome to bring your own pet bed or we will supply a kennel for such use. One pet limit please.

NOTE: Please no eating meals in the bedrooms. You are welcome to sit and eat at the kitchen table, the guest sitting room or on the patio.

There might be times I have other guests that will also be sharing the bathroom. When this happens, please be mindful of keeping the sink and shower area cleared of your personal items.

LONG STAYS: The bathroom will be cleaned at least once a week. I would like to wash the sheets every two weeks. In the past I have let my guests wash their own bedding but I had two sets of sheets ruined so because of this, I prefer to do it. I will let you know when I would like you to strip your sheets and place them in the laundry basket and set in the laundry room. When I get them washed up I will return them to the laundry basket and place outside your bedroom door.

Personally, we use our towels more than once to conserve water and also limit our showers to 10 - 20 minutes. If you would do the same, it would be appreciated. Not mandatory, but appreciated. When your towels are dirty I ask that you place them in the laundry room and I will take care of getting them washed up.

There are two trash bins outside you can use to dump your trash. The can closest to our stairs is the recycling bin which you are welcome to use for recycled items. NO GLASS OR PLASTIC BAGS in the recycling bin please. Garbage gets picked up on Friday mornings and recycling gets picked up on Tuesday mornings.

I can clear some space in our refrigerator/freezer and also some space in our cabinets upon request. My kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and I have lots of food and storage containers you are welcome to use. Please don't buy condiments, you may use ours.

The space
Our basement space has one bedroom with a queen size bed and one non-conforming room (basically means it doesn't have an egress window) with a full size bed. Both of these rooms have great closet space available. Kitchen is fully furnished with a stove, microwave, blender, coffee, etc., but does not include a dishwasher. There is also a laundry room with a washer and dryer and more storage space. This listing is pet friendly but is limited to 1 pet.

NOTE: Our basement does have infloor heat. If you get cold, the thermostat is located on the pole behind the door in the room with the walk-in closet. It could take a few hours to heat up but do know it can get quite warm downstairs so you might just want to turn it up slightly at first and adjust from there.

There are 3 TVs in the apartment: 42" in the common space, and 32" in the other rooms, all equipped with Roku, prime video, Pureflix, etc. There are also a few games and puzzles for use. Although this is a basement apartment, we tried to make it so it doesn't feel like one.

The apartment is 750 sq. ft. fully contained and private from the main house. Our guests will have their own entrance off the driveway with a key pad upon entering. There is also 1 parking space for our guests located on the driveway. Any additional parking needs will have to be on the street and no more than 2 vehicles total (1 on driveway and 1 on street). NOTE: Guests are also welcome to our shared backyard and patio, along with a barbecue grill (just please let us know ahead of time if you want to use the grill).

PLEASE READ:
Well trained and behaved dogs, cats, and their owners are welcome. Limit of 1 pet. Please no pets sleeping on the beds. I have dog beds or a kennel available upon request.

Our home is not handicap accessible so if you need help in using stairs, this home is probably not for you.

To the best of my knowledge our basement is stocked with the necessities you should need. If there is something you feel is missing, please let me know and I will try and accommodate you.

There are extra paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex) along with extra towels, trash bags, etc. stored in the laundry room. These items are for the apartment only and are not to be taken out of the apartment or given away or sold.

This 1920's bungalow was renovated solely for use as a guesthouse with all new electrical, plumbing and HVAC . All original wood floors and woodwork were retained. It's just a half block from the Main Street of our quaint little town just 2 miles off of Interstate 80.

The space
On the main floor of The Greystone you'll find a living room, dining room, a den which doubles as a bedroom when the full size Murphy bed is in use with an adjoining bath as well. A fully equipped kitchen opens to a cozy breakfast room. The upstairs has a bedroom suite with two queen beds and tucked behind a sliding door is a twin size bed. The bath upstairs includes a claw foot tub and a separate shower.

The space
Kerry's Restaurant is a block away and open six days a week. Smitty's Liquor and Convenience one block away. Ballfields and great park within walking distance. River fishing close and only 5 minutes from York. Easy 45 minute drive to Grand Island, Hastings and Lincoln, just off I-80.

There is a large deck and grill available to all guests of The Fuller Cottage.

Other things to note
Please, be aware that the property is split into separate rentals based on the number of guests. There is a private and locked security door. Both areas are asked to respect the privacy of the other in the rare event they are rented by separate parties

A great place with lots of room. What historically was the local motel, the Blue River Motel, is now a short-term, multi-family rental property. With a fully equipped kitchen, games, and lots of room, you will be able to relax and enjoy. Our community has a local restaurant, parks, a racetrack, and is a short 5 minute drive to York. We are also a 45 minute drive to Lincoln, Grand Island, and Hastings. Unit 2 can also be opened to Unit 1 to make a three bedroom and three bathroom stay!

The Windmill is a family-friendly place located on the corner of Grant Ave and 19th St. Enjoy your leisure time with a stroll downtown exploring the local shops and restaurants, or catching a movie at the local theater or play at the Yorkshire Playhouse. Beaver Creek Park provides a nice walking/biking trail to enjoy the outdoors. Visiting York University? We are located just over a mile from campus. Traveling nurses? The space
The Windmill has 3 bedrooms and a total of 4 beds (two queen beds, one full bed, and an overbunk twin bed). There is a couch in the living room for additional sleeping as well.

Enjoy a cup of coffee from our coffee bar while relaxing on the front deck or the backyard patio.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishware, a set of pots and pans, a crock pot, utensils, and mixing bowls. The one appliance we currently do not have is a dishwasher.

Feel free to log in to your streaming apps and relax in front of the television or surf the internet with our complimentary Wi-Fi.
